"i'm fine." the folded arms and slightly sullen expression that emulate a little girl's pout don't corroborate that story. she's not perfect, but coco thinks she's better than she was in atlas--she can use her credit card and her father still pays it off without asking questions. if coco rejects his calls and pretends he doesn't exist, it's like she doesn't even know where the money is coming from, or what it cost. sure, on paper she's now an orphan with no immediate family, whose custody is in beacon's hands, but she feels like that's a fine trade-off. no family is better than what she had.

she scuffs her boot against the ground, looking down, not meeting winter's eyes. "i just followed your example and bailed out of that place. vale's not perfect, but..." she trails off. better than atlas. though she doesn't say it, coco doesn't think atlas academy would have been out of albert's reach, but rather, perfectly within his grasp. she needed to leave the entire continent to get away from him. she hopes winter can understand needing to flee from your "father".

though it isn't rational, nor does it match up with the winter schnee that coco knew once, her insecurities and anxiety coil around each other and create something ugly. the confidence is false; on the inside, coco is expecting a scolding, even though winter is only offering to help. "really, i'm...cool. honestly, i'm doing fine. i..." couldn't stand to ask for help and be a fucking bother. she changes the subject. Other than that, just hearing your heartbeat and feeling the rise and fall of your chest comforts them, even after all that’s happened.

She is not the type to be all that physically affectionate, which is honestly a bummer because her hugs and cuddles are the best ever.

Often times at the end of an exhausting day as countess, she loves to spoil you and hold you in her arms.

She’s more than happy to massage your scalp or shoulders, even feeding you some fruit would be sufficient

Sleep wise, she’s as elegant as she is when she’s awake. Her hair is somehow perfect (must be the rose colored lenses talking-) and she’s not a blanket hogger of any kind

She’s really considerate even in her sleep and she’ll randomly wake up in the middle of the night and look for you

If you’re not covered by the blanket, she’ll tuck you in and go back to bed.

Either that or she’ll also hold you in her arms depending on if she believes that you want your space.

Now, we all know Nadia prefers to be the one “in charge” she prefers to pamper and that’s alright.

When cuddling Muriel is super gentle and is hyper aware because of his larger stature, making him scared at the possibility of hurting you.

With your constant reassurance and how often you tend to flop yourself on top of him, he eventually just gets used to it.

König as a father is such a common thought in my head, like he becomes 10x more daddy material

Just seeing him come home tired but still clean up and throw on some sweatpants to play with his toddlers who have a ton of energy

A/N: I love this, actually. I know his parents were re-written as Mystique & Destiny, but for the sake of this, Kurt's parents are originally Azazel & Mystique. Yes ofc here's some hcs. Added a few things to make it interesting. Also I know that's a red bamf not a baby just pretend it is okay 😭

The baby did inherit his wall-crawling. You often found them hanging out on the ceiling, hanging from it and chasing each other around on the walls.

You felt a little insecure or worried, thinking Kurt might have some resentment towards you, even though you had zero control over the development and outcome of your child's mutation. Kurt could tell you felt bad, and he always reassured you.

Your child was just as mischevious and troublesome during their teenage years. Very rebellious and the complete opposite of Kurt. It was rather entertaining, the two literally opposites in appearance and interests.

Your child took on a lot of bad habits, displaying both Mystique and Azazel's personality more than your own or Kurt's. It was hard to deal with at first, but you figured they were just trying to find themselves.

Your child struggled with identity, (take with that what you will it can be implied with whatever you like!), the shapeshifting and everything else was hard on them. Also the fact that they looked nothing like either of you made it hard. They felt like a red black sheep, and their behavior was just them trying to deal with it.

After you both sat down and spoke to them, you got to the bottom of why. It was an emotional night for you, Kurt, and your child, but it ended in tearful hugs and many 'I love you's.'

Kurt loves your child no matter what they look like and who they decide to me. They will always come home to you and Kurt.
