Hi, Asher here. Me and Madison have good news: we've decided that it's time to get married! I proposed earlier - took her to this quiet spot and got down on one knee. And she said yes!

Sure, it's a little early in our... courtship? Relationship? Eh, whatever you want to call it. But I love Maddie, and I know she's the one I want to spend the rest of my life with.

And besides... I need to start my own life, be my own man. I can't keep living under Dad's authority. He doesn't even know Maddie, but he hates her - says she's tempting me away from The Watcher. He hates all the Millers, actually.

And Mom just... sits there, while Dad rants and raves at me. I wish she'd just say something. I wish she'd stand up for me for once.

Eh... it doesn't matter. We're getting married, no matter what Mom or Dad say. And if we can't have the wedding at our church, we'll just go to Oasis Springs and have it there. That's what my old friends Tom and Hannah did.

We went to visit them this evening, and told them the news - and of course, they were really happy for us. Turns out they had good news to share too: they're gonna have a baby! I'm so happy for them both - they're gonna be great parents.
