Been carping over this most satisfying vinaigrette for a couple days and now I finally made it, ha-ha X))
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For several years these dudes held my nerve cells on, some perform their function of keeping my brain in order to this day, which warms my heart immensely ❤
Well, it's time to tell you a little story from my life that happened just recently! *drum rolls* … I changed jobs!!! After six months of helping my relatives illegally, I realized that this could not last long, and our life goals were completely opposite to each other, so I started looking for a new field of income and, can you believe it, I found it in one day! And also quite close to home! What a beauty! However, the most important thing is that I was hired and from tomorrow I will start working in my specialty! That's how it is, comrades! 🥰
I have never before felt as strong and confident as I do now, and I think it's going to be good for me. I've learned a lot of good skills, I've gotten another interesting experience that will help me in the future, and that's very wonderful (UwU)🌸
And I want to give you a little advice: always listen to the voice of your heart and mind, especially when they shout in unison. If you need to make the first step - do it, if you need to take a risk and you are confident in your abilities - go ahead and it will pay off for you. No matter what happens, stay true to yourself and your beliefs, never lose your individuality in an attempt to go headlong into the abyss of despair and bad decisions that affect you. Follow your path and your sun will turn to face you!
Well, that's all, i think

Did I mention I've added Richard Carson's Maxim de Winter to my list of 'my poor little meow meows'? Well he's in there, high up on the list. I knew the musical's Maxim is written to be a more upright and likable man than in the novel but I was not prepare for the London production and how likable and sympathetic Maxim is in the English language. I remember when the casting and promo stuff came out people were writing in the comments saying he doesn't look right for the part, and they were right from the standpoint of honouring Du Maurier's vision. Richard's Maxim is a much better man and husband compared to Du Maurier's Maxim and indeed even the German musical's Maxim. He's gentle, soft, charming, and distinctively non-threatening, his violent outbursts are tinged with melancholy and stems from the fear of being hurt again, and behind the self-assuredness is a sense of glass-like fragility that can be shattered at any second.
I really need art to stop making me simp for objectively deplorable men.

i would like to talk about how faulkner and carson are narrative parallels in the same way that paige and shrue are narrative parallels. since in the way that paige and shrue both eventually rejected the system entirely in their own ways, faulkner and carson used an institution (religion, the government) to get what they wanted (acceptance and community, wealth and social leverage). along the way, they both sacrificed anyone they needed to in order to keep up their steady rise to power.
i think there's also something to like. how shrue died begging everyone to create a world free of gods, and paige walked out to go find that world. how faulkner died fantasizing about a future where he redeems himself, and carson died fantasizing about a past where he didn't need to.
