The internet is rly such an echo chamber of opinions and you have got to be so careful about this for many reasons but my most toxically self-aware utilization of this is that whenever I’m having a gross day in New England where I go to college I google “I hate New England” and “why is New England the worst ever” just to make myself believe all of my problems are New-England-based and would not happen outside of New England

ok gang I just need to know, what beer do you think Alfred drinks regularly?

I’m arguing PBR just cause it’s so iconically American imo more so than Coors, or Budweiser. But also maybe this is cause the version of Alfred that lives in my head rent free is has the vibes of a male manipulator who listens to dad rock and country with a sprinkling of toxic masculinity (Ik I have cursed thoughts). However I think in regards to favorite beers, Alfred is a Masshole to me so he’s gotta represent so he’s partial to a Sam Adams larger.

Also while I’m here spewing my cursed ideas, what beer do you guys think Matt drinks regularly? I think Matt’s go-to would be a Molson just cause it’s like the Canadian beer. However in terms of favorites, I think Matt is an IPA type of guy cause in my head he’s lowkey a bit of a male manipulator but in this outdoorsy Toronto hipster ass way so I think I he likes a good Amsterdam Boneshaker.

Also if you’re not a beer person, like what alcoholic drinks do you think they drink and why?

Workhorse New England IPA on tap at Chickie's & Pete's in PHL. A 3 of 4. A solid hazy IPA with stone fruit and citrus in the nose and a creamy body with sticky lacing. Not much bitterness towards the finish with a bit of lingering juiciness on the palate.

Upon a recent visit to relatives in Rugby, (relatively close to Oxford) I had the great pleasure of catching a wonderful singing duo called The Weeping Willows! It was at a cool venue in Leamington Spa called Temperance Cafe, Arts & Events, what a night! First off, this couple from Australia had a terrific sound & vibe! Think of a Sun Records, Everly Brothers, Chris Issack Gothic mash up! While I'm posting a cover here, they certainly had terrific tunes of their own, great song writers, check 'em out on Spotify! I really hope I get to see them over in the states! Lastly, the venue was cozy and comfortable with good acoustics, very clear, yet warm. Nicely done folks.

New meds mean I can't really drink, so when I do have one, I gotta make it count. And pistachio chocolate stout definitely counts! Very special. I guess it could use more pistachio, but honestly, so couldn't everything, so I'll forgive it.
