My mom eagerly came home today from the store with what she referred to as "flowers for Zeus". She harbors so much excitement when she comes home with stuff like this for me, and I'm not joking when I say her undying. support will be the cause of my happy tears one of these days. I'm so pleased with my altars!

my altar to lady iris. it's small, but i wanted to have something for her. the rock, candle, and libation dish are quite obvious, and then i added the rainbow tape at the back (which im currently using in my devotional journal to her), a ring i wear in honor of her that i plan on having her bless, and a heifer to symbolize her mistress.

ok so i think that my favourite fantasy subgenre is The Inherent Tragedy Of Being Born Into Royalty. which mostly means that i like to read about gay princes but with some nuance

rook falling asleep on the red couch in the lighthouse dining room while lucanis is making dinner....... they were helping out by keeping him company and peeling and chopping potatoes for a while there but then the potatoes are done and the room is so safe and warm and smells like coffee and good food and lucanis is trying to explain something to spite and his voice is low and soft and good to listen to and rook's eyes only slip closed for a moment. they'll get up to save the world again or whatever in a second just. one moment. while the world is warm and kind. and then they're being shaken gently awake an hour later because it's time to eat and everyone's starting to drift hopefully dinner-wards

Altar to Lord Lucifer

I’m excited to share that I have finally been able to make a physical altar to Lord Lucifer! Now, this is just the start, as I’m only using items that my family already own and what I found with one trip to Goodwill, so I expect it to grow/change in the future. Though I’m already pretty satisfied with how it looks.

A bunch of the pieces are special to me and have symbolic meanings, so feel free to ask questions. There’s pieces that I made, like the candle box and dried lavender I picked. There’s phoenix and dragon figurines that I played with as a kid. When I went to Goodwill for altar pieces, I was happy to find this angelic figurine with golden hair holding a violin with roses on it. I see Lord Lucifer with similar hair and associate violins and roses with him, so I thought it was a cool piece.

Though the altar is in my closet, it is already really special to me. Here’s a bonus pic of it in daylight:

Poured my first ever libations today! Untraditional at best, but I'm sharing my Monster Energy Papillon with Father Zeus and Lord Poseidon. The flavor is a mix of peach and nectarine, so I thought it was incredibly fitting! I don't think I've ever felt so giddy while preforming an act before.
