Miria Madin's Story(my Star Wars oc)-part 1:

Tw: probably very bad english lol(I'm sorry, english is not my first language and I translated most of this on Google)

Miria Madin lost her parents when she was very young, because of this and being very poor, she started stealing out of necessity. She stole things like food, money or things she could sell or trade with someone. She was caught by the guards almost every time, but she never received really severe punishments, as she did not commit such large thefts.

When she was 13, she met a boy, he was poor like her, so they started stealing together. They ended up falling in love, but it was a child's love, pure and innocent. They did everything together.

One day, because of a small robbery gone wrong, a corrupt and heartless guard killed Miria's love.... She was devastated. The only thing she had to remember him by was a jacket that he always wore, and she never took off the jacket again so that she could always remember him.

A few years later, when Miria was 15 years old, a very strange thing happened, a Jedi master came to Ephyria. This was a very unusual occurrence, due to the fact that the queen of Ephyria, a narcissistic and controlling woman, did not like Jedi or any authority from another planet(or the Republic) coming to Ephyria to try to solve problems that were not theirs or to try to get her to sign some stupid agreement.

This Jedi finds Miria, just because she was actually trying to steal from him, but he notices the Force in her. These powers were things that Miria never gave much importance to and, because she lived alone, no one ever noticed either. The Jedi asks Miria if she would like to leave Ephyria with him and receive the proper training, which she should have had since she was a child. Miria, with all her hatred for her home planet, immediately accepts and goes with the Jedi to Coruscant.

Moment of Awesome - Madin: Training with knives brings Shatterstar and Madin back into contact where the ex-Brotherhood member can finally show off their skills to the younger mutant's assessment.

Madin frowned, pulling energy into a light blade roughly the same size as the knife. "The trick here is that if it's not got enough juice, it just dissolves before it hits. Too much - and it's like plasma but not, right? Too much and things explode or catch on fire. I think it's about right." They lifted their hand, adopting the same pose as before and threw. There was no weight to the blade, only energy. The target flared and and smoked slightly as it hit.

"I didn't say it as a bad thing," Shatterstar said, throwing one of his own knives, landing in the smoke above the energy blade. "You're so well controlled with your powers. It's impressive."

Madin shifted awkwardly. "Thanks..." They dropped to a crouch for a moment. "Bro. Of course they are. I was a mercenary fighter providing money to a terrorist organisation. They were pretty invested in me having control over them."

"I forget that about you sometimes," Shatterstar said. "I'll endeavor not to forget in the future," he added, feeling as though he had slighted Madin by not remembering just how dangerous they were.

"Sorry." Madin flushed. "I didn't mean it like that. I had to learn that control. You get that, right? I didn't have a choice once I joined them and I'm not proud of why I got the control, if you follow? We weren't the good guys."

"I follow," Shatterstar nodded, "But I don't see why you can't be proud of the control even if you aren't proud of the method." He threw another knife without a spin and frowned when the aim was off. "I'm not always proud of how I use them and especially of my former use of hand-to-hand, but I'm still proud of my skills. And control of power is more difficult- at least for me."

Sometimes, the distance between eighteen and 24 stretched forever to Madin, with the teens at the mansion looking and feeling so much younger than they'd ever remembered being. Other times, it was invisible and they had to remind themself not to have a deep and meaningful with someone his age. "You're pretty smart." They thought about days spent in the field, strolling through a settlement that was sprung up around a mining camp, laughing because they were the fucking shit and in charge over there as long as nothing happened to the ore and the days spent driving through the bush to, or from a job in the arse end of nowhere. And then, putting their training to use at times, when security and escort work had become active battles.

Shatterstar nodded at the compliment and let Madin get lost in their thoughts, not wanting to interrupt the silence. Shatterstar was comfortable in silences as long as there was action- the thunk of knives into the target. He continued this way until he had to retrieve his.

"I think yours have a natural curve," he said, having been able to observe the lingering plasma up close.

“In the blade or my throw?" Madin asked, curious.

"Both. A curve to your throw and the blade looks like a trailing point- which makes sense. It's a common knife tip."

"Is that bad? Should I try something different? I was never a gear nerd as long as I could hit the target." Madin grinned. "Mostly I don't even need to do that. A lot of things explode, or catch fire, or like, melt when you hit them with plasma, so I just need to hit nearby."

"I don't think it's bad," Shatterstar said with a shrug. "I just thought it was interesting."

Madin flushed. "Sorry. My bad."

"Your bad for what?" Shatterstar asked and then looked at the targets again. "Do you want to keep throwing knives?"

"Sorry, for -- never mind." Madin shook their head. There was no point explaining. "Sure, but I don't have a lot more plasma knives in me."

Shatterstar offered Madin one of his. "You can try one of these."

day was ups an downs. ups an downs. parts of it was pretty nice an parts of it were really crummy. one of the nice parts was lovely rainy weather as i was on my way home from a really unpleasant trip/task. so i was like screw it. let's go thrifting even though i just went a few days ago. it was really nice an fun an i got some good stuff!!

Dracula from The Batman vs Dracula!!

this is a figure that came with the movie DVD along with a figure of Batman as well.(fingers crossed for findin im too one day. who knows) they're made by DC Direct which i think is just so rad.

Crimson Dynamo from the 'Comic Series' of the Iron Man 2 toyline. a Great an really fun figure! made in 2010 but soo much better than a lot of stuff comin out now.

guy i got Crimson Dynamo from said he's gettin new stuff tomorrow so naturally. i went back the next day.

he let me look at the sack of new wares as he opened it an in it i found these og Kenner figures of General Madine an Admiral Ackbar from Return of The Jedi. og Star Wars figs always a win!!

I was in the big Half Price Books in Dallas the other day (their ~*flagship*~ store) and they had a handful of action figures and other nerdy paraphernalia but the only OT Star Wars action figures they had were Crix Madine and Lobot and, look, I'm not saying that I want the only action figure I own to be the general with like thirty seconds of screen time and just the worst haircut in the entire franchise, but also it's been like four days and I'm still thinking about driving back up there to buy the dumb Crix Madine action figure entirely for the bit.

Like, people will go through my home and say to themselves, "Yes, she likes Star Wars. Yes, she owns books and art and earrings and even some clothing items that look suspiciously like they could be used for light cosplay and almost all of it is related to Princess Leia or, at the very least, another major player in the Skywalker Saga. But she owns exactly one action figure, and it's the 2004 issue of General Crix Madine??? Is liking this guy, like, a thing? Or???"
