I would like to express my opinion on the famous “golden pair” of INFJ x ENTP.

While this pairing is often highlighted, it is as individual as any other MBTI type pairing, and “golden pairs” might not be universally applicable.

I am an INFJ with a younger brother who is an ENTP. While he’s a bit more introverted than most ENTPs, he’s also the epitome of the stereotypical ENTP—always playing or being devil’s advocate.

I once pondered this so deeply that I confronted him about it, saying there’s no way our types are THAT compatible because his energy is straight-up exhausting to me.

Don’t get me wrong—we get along well, but he’s that stereotypical ENTP through and through, and it can be draining at times.

His response?

“I know why we’re considered a golden pairing. It’s because you’re so patient, and because of that, I can have EVEN MORE FUN!”

Yeah… end of story. I think you see my point.
