this is such a vague question but how do you keep drawing even through depression? i just end up lying around and then i feel bad for not drawing and not improving. its really admirable to me that you still create art even when times are rough. do you have any tips or advice for that?

I don't really know what to advise bc I'm a pessimistic, cynical person

And much like Hazbin Lucifer who has an attachment to creating ducks as a coping mechanism, I have an attachment to drawing. I struggle to express myself and never had any healthy ways to cope EXCEPT drawing. I'm obsessed with creating art in general. Hate and pain are what keep me on gear like some built-up GRIT and the unexplainable feeling of surpassing an imaginary crisis or future I've yet to conquer. And the pen is like my only beacon of hope to remind me I have a mission to fulfill. (OA I know, ahahaAHA It's PRIDE and POWER, I don't fkin back down easily)

(This is from a harsh perspective)

So my advice would be: FIND A WAY TO STAY DETERMINED. Improvement is not spoonfed. It's never easy. Never consistent.

Feel like absolute shit, like a failure, like the biggest regret of the universe but never let it crack your purpose of being. Other people can be there to support you, yes but no one is going to save you or help you better but YOURSELF. All the decisions and the work will come from you, and as unfair as it may seem, it's the truth. You are HERE for a reason. You don't know? Then it's your journey to find it and you'll soon realize. Swallow your fear and self-pity, and GET UP.

now in no way am i saying i think snow and lucy are a decent ship but i do need people to understand that there was a movie literally where they are the main characters and their relationship is one of two centerfolds in the story.

whenever i see people complaining that a decent amount of fans prefer it to gale/katniss i get really confused because of course they do? people naturally like relationships that are given attention in a movie they enjoy? gale/katniss were given nowhere near the amount of screentime or development lucy gray and snow were so???? of course?

Anyone else excited for their first fight? I know that sounds crazy but I was. It’s such a healthy and natural development for them to have one. Also to have one about something so important too. Like Tim said she deserves someone whose worth the effort. I love how she instantly knew he was mad and seemed off. She’s known you too long Timothy for you to hide anything from her. I loved how she approached him being off/upset. Clearly at first she doesn’t know it’s about her and the Metro swap. So she does what she does best with Tim. She loves on him. Whether that’s through sweet touches in the shop (which is unreal how much I loved that btw) and making stupid jokes trying to get him to engage and feel better.

Also her being confident in them as a couple in front of someone else. Telling Noah they’re solid. UC or not isn’t going to change that factor. They’re all in and nothing is going to rock that boat. Then Lucy finally calling him on it. Their mini fight ensuing while Noah was on the phone. She had enough and was willing to work through it even on duty. She held her own very well too. Tim had valid points but Lucy’s were rock solid. Never backing down on why she did it. Despite his boiling anger about it.

That scene in his office was the perfect ending to their first fight as a couple IMO. The best part was, it wasn’t her apologizing that brought him around. It was her standing her ground. Not apologizing for what she’s done for him is what finally soothed his anger. Basically saying I love you and I don’t regret doing this for you. She was dead on with her reasoning. Her standing up to him is one of the reasons he fell for her in first place. Lucy being 100 percent unapologetically herself in that moment is why he’s smiling at the end of her ‘non’ apology. Why he loves this woman and all her sunshine ways.

She’s his light but also his compass when he needs to be kicked back onto the right path. I enjoyed every minute of this episode top to bottom. That ending line with her wanting to skip dinner and him saying you’ll need the fuel? Phew lord. Love them bouncing right back to sass and banter after the dust has cleared. Fight resolved and they’re back to being them. It’s just another step in their progression as a couple and I couldn’t be happier with their development. ❤️

We all….agree that Lucy would be like. The player character right? Coop and Maximus are both romanceable companions right? Coop at the end of s1 is just a quest giver right?!

#.ooc ( dani is an asshole )#smth just tickles me about lucy being the primary focal point #the one to prompt change and conflict in what was a p stagnant world of endless back and forth fighting amongst factions #while coop and max were both just parts of that never changing world in their own ways #max as part of the botherhood and part of a literal faction #coop as this lone wolf guy who thinks he’s too good for any of the factions #and thinks all of it is pointless and nothing will ever change #which while understandable is still him being just another cog in the greater machine #anything not directly CHALLENGING what’s going on is just as much a part of it as anyone making sure things stay the same ya get me?#max and coop are both v much playing their parts as products of the world they fell into #lucy whether she or the audience realizes it or not is challenging things at every opportunity #she’s different #I think the first moment we see this is in her side bar with norm #when he tells her the others don’t want to find their dad bc if they did they wouldn’t get to be in charge #and he’s right #ppl in charge don’t do heroic or dangerous things for singular individuals #they focus on their tasks #and lucy challenges that idea immediately. despite very much believing in the values and importance of the vaults #doing nothing does not sit right with her so she leaves #ugh anyway the worms have eaten my brain yall #send help
