Anyone else excited for their first fight? I know that sounds crazy but I was. It’s such a healthy and natural development for them to have one. Also to have one about something so important too. That scene in his office was the perfect ending to their first fight as a couple IMO. The best part was, it wasn’t her apologizing that brought him around. It was her standing her ground. Not apologizing for what she’s done for him is what finally soothed his anger. Basically saying I love you and I don’t regret doing this for you. She was dead on with her reasoning. Her standing up to him is one of the reasons he fell for her in first place. Lucy being 100 percent unapologetically herself in that moment is why he’s smiling at the end of her ‘non’ apology. Why he loves this woman and all her sunshine ways.

She’s his light but also his compass when he needs to be kicked back onto the right path. I enjoyed every minute of this episode top to bottom. That ending line with her wanting to skip dinner and him saying you’ll need the fuel? Phew lord. Love them bouncing right back to sass and banter after the dust has cleared. Fight resolved and they’re back to being them. It’s just another step in their progression as a couple and I couldn’t be happier with their development. ❤️
