Oh, I hate it when fic authors villainize one half of the ship. I don't mean an au where things are flipped or evil or something but stories that are close to canon with some differences. It's so icky to me. It's obvious you like one half of the pair more and wrote the fic to make them look better.

Someone being meaner, sure, but having them be that ooc, might as well make em a new character.

Even worse when they villainze a woman the fandom already shits on.
