if you're referring to the prequel, that was almost certainly, like 100% certainly, before harry was born when lily and james were fighting for the Order along with the rest of the Marauders and not in hiding. This is what Lily says, years later, in her letter to Sirius:

doesn't that imply he wasn't sneaking out? and if he had left the hiding spot in the past it was "little excursions" with Lily's full knowledge and approval, with the safety of the cloak. I don't see the big deal, and it's possible that Lily was leaving the house on occasion too when they had the cloak.

people are so determined to see things in the worst possible light it's kind of funny. It's not enough that James was a dickhead and a bully in canon, he has to be this insidious abusive master manipulator guy who somehow conned Lily "you make me SICK" Evans into marrying her and having a kid with him. Like, no offence but it's just not that deep.

We don't see how he changed because the story isn't about him, it's about his son, but there's plenty of evidence that he did, a BIG example being that a girl who couldn't stand the sight of him and was extremely vocal about the fact ended up marrying him. Something changed, and it's just highly unlikely that James, a fictional character, constructed an elaborate ruse behind the scenes that we see no evidence for to trick Lily, and every other character, into thinking he was an entirely different person. If that had been the author's intent for these characters who, btw, do not exist outside the text we're given, there would be proof of it. Rather, we're given evidence he 'deflated his head' and that lily fell in love with him and that they were happy together.

I've already said it but I don't think James not telling her about fighting with Snape (who, let it be said, at that point was also instigating) is a good thing. Obviously. It's dishonest and he should have told her. But I also think a likely reason he didn't tell her was not wanting to hurt her. That doesn't make it okay, but there can be problems and slip-ups and things to work through in a relationship without it being some big evil insidious manipulation.

Sev hid all sorts of things from her too, important things like "I'm thinking about joining the Death Eaters btw lol". People lie and hide things, especially teens. Maybe the simplest explanation here, rather than this weird jamespiracy thing, is that a seventeen year old boy was kind of shit sometimes but ultimately dedicated his life to protecting others, fought bravely in a war, grew tf up, and sacrificed himself to save his wife and child.

Jazz I think would definitely count as contaminated enough to be warding off zombies so I propose they can have either: A very sweet reunion where Danny is grateful to the bats for helping him find his sister bc she was in the 'safe zone' the bats had established, having absorbed the band of survivours Jazz had been keeping safe

Jazzs band of survivours has not been absorbed yet but when the bats observe the zombies avoiding the parkers they spread out, hopeful at the fact they might meet yet more survivours from their city

Jazz has a Cult. (Danny always gets cults so now it's Jazz's turn.) This can either be hilarious or angsty. Lets go with hilarious for now, and assume it comes at the end of a long tense search with the bats to find this very unexpected compound. The Cult is worshipping Jazz as some sort of holy figure because her presence keeps the zombies away. She is using this position to get people to practise mindfulness and healthy coping mechanisms, and doing her level best to listen to all these people bc she may or may not be the only one around with any kind of psychological training.

Realistically how long would it take for Sam and Tucker to get bored of Danny being overprotective? Like there's probably not going to be many zombies on the long stretches of roads between cities (Which they will point out. Repeatedly.) So I can imagine Sam, the moment they stop in Gotham or its outskirts, leaping out of the side door of the vehicle (I'm imagining at least a van, probably Mad Max style so they can break through any obstacles if the Fentons didn't outright give them the GAV) and literally latching onto the first zombie she sees, either piggy backing it or slapping it across the face, only for it to run away bc That's Not Food

Cue Danny panicking while one of the bats, patrolling for supplies, watches on in absolute bemusement from a roof top at What That Was

DPxDC idea: zombie apocalypse.

It's pretty common in zombie apocalypse stories for zombies to not attack each other, they somehow can tell themselves from the delicious delicious living beings. So I think it'd be interesting if anyone who's died died also does NOT ring the zombie dinner bell.

Example: Jason obviously smells so unappetizing to zombies, they don't even bother trying to bite him. Jason is weirded out by this, he stops jokingly calling himself a zombie. (Honestly depending on how far back in canon you wanna go about half the bats/birds are undead.)

And obviously Danny, Vlad, Dani/Ellie, and Dan (if you wanna include him) are some form of undead. It could be fun to play with the fact that zombies and ghosts are the apples and oranges of undead. Yeah, they're both fruit/undead, but they're also basically opposites. How would Danny's frenemies react to zombies invading the living realm?

And that's not even getting into liminality. Are humans that have been exposed to ectoplasm and/or the Laz pits just generally less appetizing to zombies? Like it confuses their senses? Just imagine you're in the middle of trying to survive the zombie apocalypse and then in bursts Batman and friends in their normal costumes with no fear because zombies just don't want them. The bats are acting like it's business as usual, that'd be so bizarre after the hell you've been through. And then they take you to this middle of nowhere town called Amity Park where people are living like it's pre-apocalypse because zombies get close and just turn away before crossing into town.

What if instead of Bruce, Danny was Damian's father but only Ra's knows.

Like every thing goes according to canon but then around the time of Damian's creation Ra's finds out about the High King of the Infinite Realm and decides that an heir from him would be far superior (whether Ra's actually means Danny or mistakes him for Pariah Dark im unsure) and somehow manages to get some of his DNA

The problem is that Thalia is insistent on using her beloved.

Now, in order to keep his daughter's cooperation he simply switches the samples while she is unaware. (Or maybe he adds Danny's dna afterwards with or without Thalia's knowledge so Damian is both Bruce and Danny's son)

Now years later something happens causing Damian and the batfam to find out that he is, in fact, not the blood son.

Maybe its when he first gets there and Bruce runs a paternity test that turns up negative, poor baby Damian would be so shocked and confused and Bruce may not be the father but he's not just gonna kick this stabby 10 year old out onto the streets. He definitely wouldn't feel comfortable sending him back to the LoA, naybe they can help the kid find his real father

Or in the case that Bruce's DNA is also used maybe the batcomputer can only register Danny's side as Lazarus water so thing just pass as canon until something reveals Damian's connection to Danny.

IDK, maybe they meet somehow and ghost instincts recognize the familial bond. Maybe Danny occasionally works with or even joins the JL sometime after Damian shows up so now the Batcomputer has Danny's DNA on file to check against should the need to run Damian's blood come up again.

I imagine Danny's well into adulthood here, and there could be the potential for Spirit Halloween

I mean.... Makes sense lol. Like luthor knows those two don't appreciate safety nor morality, and thinks the second twin (Daniel) would take on the good habits (lack of morality) and learn from their bad habits (idiocy, lack of organization).

Ooh, it would be pretty cool if lex luthor would reveal in some big boss fight, that theres a heir, without even checking how Danny turned out. He just reveals that there is a heir and he's well hidden.

Obviously the justice league manages to locate the clone in the next two hours, tho.... There is the slight problem they aren't sure whether Danielle or Daniel are the one.

This all would result in the hero's scrambling to check whether their evil, who out of those two is actually the clone (jokes on them lmao) and what the actual fuck is going on with this town and why weren't they called yet.

Meanwhile Danny has the worst week ever. The ghost don't give him a break, math homework is even harder than usual and as a cherry on top, there are tourists in town. That's just what Danny needs when he's already stressing about his parents finally telling him who his bio parents are

When Lex cloned Superman, it resulted in two children. He decided to make good use of his accidental twins by making one his successor. After all, they also share his DNA right? He sends one of the twins to his old friends the Drs Fenton, whom he knows will educate the boy on all things science and engineering.

Teenage Damian finally being more involved in JL matters thanks to his leadership on the Titans which eventually leads him to work with his father and siblings.

Things can get a little awkward from time to time because even if Damian is now almost as tall as Dick and he has demonstrated multiple times he's capable of defeating most of the other heroes he's STILL the little baby to his family eyes.

So picture a situation in where Batman, Nightwing, Red Robin and Robin (Damian) plus some members of the JL, the Titans and Jung Justice are all cooperating for some major menace, which apart from other things, means family reunion.

Nightwing *checking some security cameras they put on the main suspect of the villan of the week room*: Well if he does anything suspicious we can confirm all this mess is his fault

Red Robin: It will be great if we can confirm it before he destroys the world

Wonder Woman (looking at the screen where their main suspect appears to bring a girl to his room to something more that chatting): Well if he's actually about to destroy the world he certainly has enough time for THAT

*moanings start coming out of the computer and even when most of the heroes start laughing Nightwing seems scandalized*

Nightwing *reaching from the other side of the table to try covering Damian's eyes*: YOU CANT WATCH THIS DAMI!!! YOU ARE JUST A BABY!!!

Red Robin (not actually caring but always on favor of annoying Damian): This is not an appropriate look for a ten year old!!!!

Damian|Robin (Very clearly not ten): Get off me!!! And stop being so dramatic

Superman (participating mostly to catch Batman's attention): Well you are the kid in here we have to protect your innocence

Batman is trying to ignore the hole scene but a soft smile escapes from his mouth while he sees his kids fooling around just like before

Robin|Damian (still trying to get Nightwing off him): Stop acting like I'm a baby! There are other teenage heroes on this same room!!

Batman: Well yea but their families aren't here

John|Superboy (trying to help Damian): Im here

Damian finally getting away from his brothers and suddenly feeling sassy enough to speak more than he should.

Robin|Damian: Funny that you still assume I'm a virgin...

Damian leaves almost immediately leaving a room full of shocked heroes behind him.

All: ...

Nightwing (with the most concerned grin in his face): ... WHAT

Red Robin laughing his brains out: Oh god!!! You have such a traumatized face!!!

Nightwing, still not processing what just happened and having some type of panic atack: THATS MY BABY BROTHER WTF!!! 😭😭😭

Batman bluescreened from the beginning and Superman is trying to bring him back (he's also trying not to laugh)

Meanwhile, John|Superboy is on the back trying to piece everything together because WHY DAMIAN DIDN'T TELL HIM ANYTHING??!! There supposed to be like best friends, Why would he lie about something like that?? Does he even had a girlfriend he didn't know about??!! and NO HE'S NOT JEALOUS WHY ARE YOU ASKING??!!!

Red Robin, still trying to stop his laugh: Don't be so dramatic Wing... He's almost 16, how old where you when... you know?

Nightwing, in a super dramatic voice: IM NOT ANSWERING THAT IN FRONT OF MY DAD!!!!

Batman, who has started to came back to reality is looking at his boys with the most, Bruciest grin in his face, completely forgetting he's THE BATMAN

Anyways... Damian realizes what he confessed teen minutes later and decides to avoid every single member of his family for the rest of the month

I headcanon Janet with blonde hair and green eyes and Jack with black hair blue eyes.

Im using this on Tim.

Tim was born with blonde hair green eyes and looked like Jack as a baby, but when he got older, around 4ish, he turned black haired and blue eyed and started looking like Janet.

His parents were both in a love hate relationship with this change. On one hand they want him to have their colors and look like them...

On the other hand they miss when he used to look like the other parent.

Just imagine:

Tim going through old pictures in his gazillion boxes of pictures, the family is helping him.

"Who's this baby? Steph's?"

Someone asks. They look over to see Duke holding a photo of a blonde baby, smiling a gummy smile with curly blonde hair and green emerald eyes looking brighter than a kryptonian in the sun.

"No.. That's.. who is that baby?"

Steph asked very slowly. Guess they forgot to tell Duke that Steph's daughter was a sensitive topic amongst them.

"Steph gave up her daughter at birth, Duke. And it was a traumatic experience for her so we don't talk about it."

Bruce informed.

"O-Oh! I'm sorry."

"It's okay, you didn't know"

She waved him off with a smile, but everyone still wondered who the baby was.

"Tim?"

"Yeah?"

Tim replied from inside his closet. He walked out upon no reply, setting down another box filled with camera equipment and saw all their confused faces.

"Who's baby is this?"

Duke turned the picture and Tim looked at it closer.

"Oh!"

Tim smiled, taking it and putting it next to his face.

"It's me!"

He smiled just as bright as the baby, which happened to be him, in the picture.

The family, including Alfred, stared jaw dropped shocked at the guy.

The baby in the photo, smiling oh so brightly like the sun, green eyed, blonde curly hair, with the cutest little red polka dot dress on, was Tim, who had straight-ish black hair and blue eyes, didn't smile as brightly as the moon, who only gave smirks and grins, and was wearing a long sleeves under a Limp Bizkit t shirt with very baggy jeans.

"Yeah.. Genetics! Ya know..?"

"Explain."

Jason demanded.

"Well, up until I was 4-ish I had my dad's face but my mom's green eyes and blonde curly hair, but then it turned black and my eyes turned blue and straight-ish and I started looking more like my mom."

He rubbed his neck sheepishly.

That started the searching of Tim's baby photos. They'd organize the Bat photos and the hero photos later, right now they needed to find all of the blonde hair green eyed baby Tim photos.

It was no secret that Tim was trans, so when all the photos of a little girl in dresses and skirts showed up they weren't phased. It was hilarious to see all the pouty faced pictured of Tim in dresses.

The photos did get put up around the house with Tim's (begrudgingly(willingly)) permission.

Dick wanted him to bleach his hair but he refuses to damage his hair.

The older that Tim gets, the blonde comes back. He still looks like his mom, but his slowly starts turning blonde again, and his eyes start having a greener tint/hue to it.

The first to notice was Bart.

Bart was braiding Tim's rather ling hair when he points it out.

"Hey Tim, your hair's got some blonde in it!"

"What?"

Tim runs to the mirror and looks in it. Yep. Sure enough his hair was growing some blonde strands. And now that he looked, his eyes looked more green than it's normal blue.

"Oh my gosh.."

He calls Bruce.

Bruce who was in a JL meeting.

"I'm in a meeting."

"B! Im going blonde again! Ans my eyes! They're turning green!"

Tim says, somewhat panicked, somewhat excited.

Bruce blanks. Because.. what. What do you mean his baby boy, who he loved staring at the blonde and green eyed baby pictures of, was resorting back to that color.

"...really?"

He asks very hesitantly at first.

"Yeah!"

Tim turns his head down, showing his scalp. And there, right there, were several prominent, yet blended, strands of blonde growing in a curl pattern amongst the straight black locks.

Bruce just about cries right then and there.

Because then Tim does a close up of his eyes. And yep. His eyes have a but of green in them.

"That's great, sweetie. But I'm in a meeting right now."

"Oh! Sorry!"

He hangs up.

Bruce doesn't.

He's still stuck on the call smiling like a sappy parent whose kid just did something so small yet so touching. There were tears in his eyes and none of the JL knew what to do.

This was inspired by the discussion on a prompt you made ages ago, actually! Here's the post. The main prompt isn't the inspiration, however. It was the comment about Danny joining the JL and [insert spiderman meme here].

Let's see if I have anything I can add. (I changed things enough when posting the first bits that everything else I have doesn't fit anymore.)

Danny winced. “Yes, Uncle Cl— Kal. Uncle Kal.” Danny glanced next to him and realized Constantine had moved several feet away and was deliberately trying to not attract attention. He bit back a smile and pulled on the Prince Phantom persona Queen Dora had forced him to learn. “Thank you for your assistance, Laughing Magician. I now declare our deal complete and will make no further claims on you.” He waved his hand producing a piece of parchment which he handed over. “As promised, your payment.”

Constantine grabbed the paper and backed away quickly. “Great. Glad to do business with you, your highness. Hope your family reunion goes well. I’ll just—” he jerked a thumb over his shoulder, then changed something and disappeared through a portal even as several of the League members present tried to yell at him to stop.

Danny rolled his eyes as he fell back into his more relaxed demeanor. “Oh, please. What more did you want from him? I’ll talk to Uncle Kal and he can decide what is important to pass on. Magician Constantine already told you most of what he knows.”

“Just… come on, Danny,” said Uncle Clark. “We need to talk.”

Finding a place to talk to Danny wasn’t the problem, Clark quickly realized. Shaking off his coworkers, however… Bruce in particular did not want to be left out. And Wally was too curious to be put off.

“Danny?” called Clark when he realized the kid wasn’t with him.

“By the viewing window,” said Bruce. “He seems to enjoy the view.”

“Right. Should’ve guessed.” Clark cursed himself silently for forgetting how much the kid loved space. “Batman, please. I know you like to know everything. But can I just talk to my nephew alone? I’ll explain everything I can after, but I need to know how this situation could’ve happened in my own family without my knowledge first without you being there inserting Opinions.”

“Very well. I’ll collect Flash and we’ll leave the two of you alone. But I expect a full report after.”

“I’ll make a peach cobbler, Ma’s recipe, and head to the Manor tomorrow to tell you everything.”

“I’ll let Nightwing know.”

Clark sighed. “I’ll make two cobblers.”

Bruce’s lips twitched upward, but he turned without saying anything more. “Flash! Since this matter is going to be delayed, I believe you still have to file your report on the incident last week.”

Clark chuckled as Flash protested. But he didn’t listen to their discussion, instead joining Danny by the viewing window. He settled an arm around his nephew’s shoulders. “Beautiful, aren’t they?”

“I can’t believe you get to come up here and look out at the stars any time you want.”

“I don’t get up here as much as I’d like, I’m afraid. And when I am up here, it’s because something somewhere is going wrong so I don’t get to appreciate it as much as I’d like to.”

“So, if you’re an alien, does that mean Dad’s an alien, too? Is that why he is the way he is? Am I part alien?”

Clark laughed and ruffled Danny’s hair. Like this, it felt almost insubstantial, like passing his hand through mist. “Fraid not, kid. No one knows why your dad is the way he is. I can’t remember how often he was tested for the meta gene.”

“Once a year every year from the time he was six until he was twenty-two and graduated undergrad and started living on his own. Then he stopped for a few years. Until he started dating Mom. He accidentally broke her apartment door once and she insisted he get tested again.”

Clark wanted to laugh, but all he could remember was Danny’s earlier statement. “Danny… Are you…safe with your parents?”

Is where many ghosts and Other Ecto-Entities Are Confined. I can't get in without you heroes." Dante says with a scowl as he dragged his bat through the ground.

"Fright Knight can't as well." Dante stated and glanced at Fright Knight settling his mare beside a tree and heading back to him to stand behind him, Fright Knight still made the heroes feel scared but Dante reassures them it's normal and Fright Knight is just Really the Embodiment of Fear. And that scarecrow is nothing compared to him. Fright Knight looked proud of that statement taking it as a compliment, Jason personally found him cool and chill as his horse also liked Jason, Robin also was very fond of the Knight's Mare and the Mare liked the two immediately which Fright Knight was Pleased with.

"Flash you will evacuate all Ecto-Entities inside the Facility as soon as Superman forces the Facility Open, I will be looking for the little Daniel, Wonder Woman you make sure not a single worker in this facility gets out, Knock em out cold. Do not kill unless absolutely Necessary. Superman you assist Wonder woman and Dante and... Jason..." Bruce looks at the two lovers.

Dante laughs with an ear to ear smirk and Fright Knight also Hummed in amusement as if ready to slay those in his way. Bruce stated ignoring the Uneasiness in his chest with his heart pounding at the thought of the Little Daniel having been tortured... A 13-14 years old child. Only monsters do that. Flash Says Enthusiastically as Superman Forced a Hole in the Thick Facility Walls, Dante walked in immediately and Fright Knight Guarding Beside him and Jason Following with his guns and a Bat That Dante had gifted him. Bruce took a deep breathe and without hesitation stepped inside the Facility Floors.

He says sorry to Jazz in his Mind as she would have been disappointed to see this but he also knows she would support it considering the current situation. But then Dante barely dodged a glowing green Gunshot from Someone. He turns his head to face them.

"Maddie Fenton." He glared at Maddie who was holding a gun with Precision and Kept Shooting at him, "Ecto-Scum, PH4N70M - 000C." She states and she looked at him as if he was an animal, it ticked Dante off and Glanced at Jason, Jason got the hint and Backed away to Fright Knight to keep himself safe as Dante Wants him to be. "It's been a while Maddie. Now where is... Where is my Phantom." He glares at Maddie with Poison Laced in his tone, growling underneath his words, pure aggression in his body language.

"IT'S whereabouts is none of your concern, not when soon we will be the one to personally terminate you." She states with a blank but perceptive Expression, "We?" Dante asks curiously soon saw the Hunk of a Man Charging at Dante. Dante threw his bat on the wall and Wrestled With Jack Fenton. Jack Fenton was a Physical Threat, His movements were to cause as much damage as possible but still precise and Large Aim due to the Man's Size. "I will protect my Wife from you." Jack glared at Dante as he pinned Dante on the wall with one Arm.

Jack jumped back as Dante heats his body up clearly getting Pumped up, He laughs amusingly and combs his bangs back and Tying up his hair with His Abilities. Soon Red And Black Rings former Around Dante and Jason Blushed Unexpectedly at Dante's Real Form cuz Damn, that's hot, those muscle definitions wants to make Jason have a Boner but surely he shouldn't do it right now as he's busy with Killing other Agents.

Dante charged at Jack again but As Jack got into a defensive stance Dante went Intangible and Went through him and Tackling Maddie to the Wall nearly lodging her deep in the Thick metal walls, Jack Grabbed him and Threw him at the wall to check up on his wife but Dante's Recovery to the situation got faster and he sent himself back at Jack who somehow successfully blocked his Blow.

Dante laughed as the two Fenton's fought hard against them with Ease but now they're at a disadvantage as Maddie's Injuries causes her to miss much more often. Dante looked as though he was bored now and then he clawed Jack's Chest And Dug his claws deep as Jack Grabbed him again and threw him away, Jack coughed up blood and Maddie Yelled out his name in worry but Before she could run to her husband Dante out of nowhere plunged his Arm right through her chest, holding her still beating heart.

She coughed, slowly her eyes was drained of it's life as Dante pulled out his arm out of her chest and she fell to the ground bleeding out the rest of her Insides. Dante slowly walked over to the Weakened Jack, jack still tried to Fight Which Dante Regrettably Found Admirable about the Man, although an idiot he was strong... Such wasted Potential.

Dante grabbed the Bat he threw to the side and Dragged His Bat hard and thorough towards Jack's Wound in his chest, Causing him to cough up more blood and fall over to his back, Dante grabbed a Crowbar he pulled out of his chest and hit it on Jack's Head Until it lodged into his visible Skull, his brain guts spilling out as Dante Huffed and Laughed in Victory as he has finally gotten his revenge on The Fenton's he so loathe. Such hatred was much stronger than his hatred for Vlad. (Who is now still legally his adoptive Father)

Dante opened his mouth unnaturally Wide and ate Maddie's Heart, he licked his blood tainted lips and Pulled a towel from his chest to wipe the blood off his hands and Walk over to Jason. Jason was stunned and Fright Knight was also Bloody as he has been given permission indirectly by Dante to kill the agents without hesitation. Both Ghosts were pleased with their Bloodlust Being Quenched and Dante Kisses Jason's/Red Hood's Forehead and Caressed his cheek Carefully and Gently.

"You don't hate me right Ba—" Dante was cut off by Jason's coughing, "That was so hot to be honest—" he Stated and Clearing his throat, still in shock and Dante merely laughed in amusement as his lover didn't hate him for what he's done. Jason stared at his chest and even poked them still cooing over his Muscles and Everything as if Jason doesn't see it everyday when they're taking a shower together.

But that's just another story for another day as that's their private life.. but then again he found Jason's admiration of his Body Physique Relatable as Dante also Coos Over Jason's Ass whenever he can so it's a win win for both lovers.

Bruce Cradled the Child's Body in his arms Gently, he had wounds that had looked fresh but also healed at the same time, his hair Pitch Black with white in the undercut, The Kid was Pale with Constellation Like Glowing Green Freckles Adorning his Innocent Face, a Muzzle that had no holes and a Too tight collar connected to the collar with odd beeping and possibly an electric shocker also lodged deep in his delicate pale skin. His body was Thin, his body too light for someone his age, he looks... He looks so much like Jason when he first... In... Just like in that Warehouse...... Bruce thought as his heart cried and ached at the sight of the nearly dead - half dead kid Infront of him, It made Bruce want to break into tears.

He slowly stood up carrying the Child through the now Red Tainted Halls, Ignoring the Bodies that surrounded him presumably the people Dante had Massacred out of Revenge, His Breathing Hitched as he continued to stared at the cold bodied child in his arms, cradling him softly as he caught himself humming a soft lullaby as he saw the Kid's unconscious expression soften at it, Bruce's Gaze Softens as he Carries the child out of the Facility, the other ghosts being taken care of by Fright Knight but Some checking up on Phantom, they called him their Precious Prince. Their Source of Purpose and Existence In the Ghost Zone or Infinite Realms as they liked to call it.

Dante although being covered in the blood of others did not stop the Younger Looking Ghosts to Stick to him, calling him King Regent, they thanked him, tears forming in their delicate small eyes as they thanked the Heroes which made The others want to tear up as Fright Knight Led them towards a Portal that eerily resembled Lazarus Waters. Just purer and much Cleaner.

"Thank you! Please have a long life!" The younger ghosts Waved Happily at them, the animal Ghosts running into through the portal as soon as they saw it manifest.

"Thank You sir speedster!"

"We thank you all!"

"Please live long!"

"We love you!"

"Thank you for stopping our agony!"

"Thank you Avenging us!"

Although The heroes were used to being thanked by people but it was not the same feeling as when an already Dead Child... Thanks them for Avenging them... Children that was already dead who had to suffer another hell because of Humans that were still living. Thanking them for Freeing their souls. It made Wonder Woman's Heart want to cry out but instead she waved them off with a hearty yet Pained smile.

"Don't worry! We'll make sure there's no more victims in the future!" Flash reassures the ghosts which made the older ones smile softly at them with pained but relieved expressions tainting their wounded Faces. They too muttered a small yet more silent and calm Thank you as they passed through the Portal.

"What will happen to them now?" Superman Asks holding back tears. "... Pass on. They will pass on to a better life or they will willingly live in the ghost zone in their afterlife until they Decided to take the route of Reincarnation." Dante says and sighs in relief, he smiles softly which contradicts what he looks like right now which is a bloody Murderous Mess. He looked at Bruce then at his hands, "you carry him for now. Let's go." Dante states and the Other Heroes Nod as they are now heading off back to Gotham to get Danny some rest and Also for Dante to be able to Contact Frostbite and Help out Danny's Weakened Core.

He will let Ember and the other ghosts deal with the Souls of the Facility... He knows they'll make them burn. Burn in the fires that is of hell where Walker will force them down to Lucifer Himself. Much to Lucifer's Demands he cannot really stop the superior fuckers that is The Ancients and the Orders of the King Regent, 'Sassy Gay-Like Zesty Bastard' Dante thinks to himself thinking of the King of Hell Lucifer but right now he will just focus on The Future Ahead of Danny, It was not the most pleasant. He'll go into Operation WWJD. What would Jazz Do? Would she comfort Danny? Totally. Would she Console Danny? absolutely. Would she suggest he go to therapy? Maybe. Maybe he'll also get therapy from one of the Yeti's but that's for another Day.

His rant thinking was interrupted with Jason leaning his Head On Dante's Shoulder as they sat in the backseat of the BatMobile as Dante had accidentally lost his keys to his Bike which pissed him off enough that he also destroyed the bike much to Jason's Delight. Danny was in his arms, breathing steadily as Dante slowly fed him his ectoplasm through their Fraid Bond, also Dante did not have purest Ectoplasm it was the best he could do At the moment, Feeding Danny was a Priority in his list, second to getting Danny to Frostbite for Medical Care.

Dante smiles, Bruce looked Calmer and Relaxed, the tension in his body had faded as soon as he got Danny Safe and out of the Facility. Dante has a slight hint of guess that Bruce might want to Adopt Danny which is totally fine for Dante because atleast he's Vlad's Legal Son and He won't become his Lover's By Law Brother cuz that would be weird. Today was wonderful nontheless.

Atleast now he has Danny Safe Again and Maybe being with the Wayne's would make it safer with the boy... All he wishes now is His Baby Brother's Safety and Jason's Safety out of everything else. That was all he needed.

His family to be safe.

SIDE STORY (Vlad/Clockwork):

"Daddy! Daddy! Dante is coming back home with Dan—" she walked into the room abruptly and stunned as he saw a shirtless Clockwork Pinning down her Father on his bed who was also Shirtless.

"Hello there little Ellie, I did not expect you to come here!" Clockwork says calmly, "Oh Butter Biscuits— ELLIE—" Vlad says panicked but Clockwork kept his hands pinned down, "your daddy and I are busy... Playing Adult Stuff... How bout you play outside with your friends from school?" Clockwork says with a smile.

Batfamily x teen!reader who’s like younger than Timmy but older than dami, and he’s also a vigilante and were one before being taken in by the family.

Anyways he has been with the family for a little while now and he’s close with every member, heck even he’s even close with the JL. But the batfamily doesn’t really know much about the reader’s past, and it’s a big deal if the world greatest detective doesn’t know ether.

So a mission goes wrong and the reader is hurt so they obviously have to remove some of their clothing to treat him and they are shocked when they find many scars on the reader’s body. They decide to ask them about it when he wakes up. Once the reader wakes up and sees his body wrapped in bandages, he panics and has a panic attack because he knows they know about his scars now. One of the family member comes in and calms him down, and once’s he’s calm, they ask about how he got these scars. The reader knows he can’t keep lying anymore so he reluctantly tells them. His backstory is like Damians and cass. His father has a clan of his own and he trained the reader from birth to be the best assassin in the world. His punishments and training were harsher than Damian’s even. But he ran away from all that when he was 10. By the time he finishes the rest of the family is there and heard everything, he just breaks down crying again and the whole family now comforts him, telling him he’s safe now. (Y/N)'s past. The boy is in between Tim and Damian in age and also Bruce's favorite, according to Jason and Damian. Bruce had to repeat himself time and time again that he didn't have favorites.

He loved them all equally.

But there was a question about (Y/N)'s history. There was nothing on him. Bruce found him on the streets, just surviving. Bruce sensed that something was off about him, but not in a bad way.

Bruce could see it in (Y/N)'s eyes. He has been through something, but whenever he questioned it, (Y/N) outright denied it. No matter how Bruce approached it, he was always denied.

And if he decided to investigate?

There was nothing he could find. Absolutely nothing. It bugged him. He tried over the Batcomputer, he tried over the Justice League systems.

And he came up with nothing. It made him wonder, but he chuckled it up to being on the streets for a long time. But there are always something, there was always a paper trail. No matter what you are, a kid on the streets or something else.

But that didn't make Bruce love (Y/N) any less. And Bruce wasn't the only who thought about (Y/N)'s history. The other members wondered about his history too. Despite being here for a little while, he got close with everyone.

Even with Damian. That alone showed how important he was to them. Even the Justice League members were close with him. Every time one of them visited, they went to see him first.

No matter what. He got uncles and an aunt who were more than happy to hang out with him when he came with Bruce. Work and meeting be damned, their nephew is more important.

To his siblings, to his father, to his grandfather and to his aunt and uncles. No matter what.

Every thing would come to a screeching halt during a Justice League mission. It was a mission to take over the carrier where the League of Light had meeting and by taking it down, they would have a shot at destroying the League of Light.

The brief for this mission was confidential and top secret. Batman was leading the meeting, clearly determined to get this carrier and the intel that it carried. Batman was leading the way with his sons and the others would hit from the sides.

If there is one person from the Justice League that you need to kill, that is Batman. They would land on the top of the carrier, going to the location with the Batwing.

It was going to be a very difficult mission. Bruce didn't sugarcoat it, it was going to be grueling. You never know what is going to be behind the corner of the carrier.

And more importantly, intel was the top priority.

" Alright. Does everyone understand what they need to do? " Bruce asked, looking at everyone in the room. Everyone nodded and they moved to their choppers or planes, depending where you were stationed.

The atmosfere was an excited, especially amongst the Batfamily members. But (Y/N) wasn't really that excited. There was a layer of fear. He... Knew just how much they were capable of. He was once hunted by them.

That was one of the reasons why he was in Gotham.

" Hey, you okay? " Damian asked, as they sat down at the back of the Batwing.

" Yeah, just... You know, there are nerves involved. It's not easy to fight the Light. " (Y/N) answered, trying to not make Damian worry. Damian looked at him for a few more seconds then sat down next to him.

He bumped his knee against (Y/N)'s, clearly not believing him. (Y/N) tilted his head, clearly telling him don't do it now. Damian let out a TTs and just leaned his head back.

(Y/N) leaned back too, closing his eyes.

What if he sees his father there? Or anybody from his past? Jason glanced at (Y/N), seeing his hands were clenched. Jason knew him good enough to know that this was reaction to fear.

He quietly nudged Tim's knee. Tim looked at him, then Jason shook his head towards (Y/N). Tim was also intrigued. Dick was now involved too, wondering what is happening. After being brothers for so long, they mastered the art of silent communication.

Tim subtly pointed at (Y/N)'s fist. Still clenched. Dick's brow raised. Why would (Y/N) be afraid? Sure, the Light is not easy to go up against. But they weren't afraid. (Y/N) had fought with a few members and he was good.

So what was the problem?

Even Damian noticed, also intrigued by (Y/N)'s reaction. The four brothers started talking with their eyes.

Is he connected to the Light?

Why in God's name is he afraid?

Does this have anything to do with his past?

Is the Light reason why he came to Gotham?

Maybe their answers could be answered today. Maybe.

They were on the carrier now. They knocked out a few guards and moved in. They didn't trigger the alarm yet, so this is good. Damian and (Y/N) moved together, watching each others back.

They moved slowly and quietly. They groaned quietly when the alarms started blaring. Damian let out a TTs, clearly annoyed now. They could hear the footsteps of the guards.

They got around the corner, stopping. They hid and just waited for the guards to come.

The guards were out like a light. They moved further in. Everything is supposed to be okay.

Well, Jason and explosives have to disagree. The carrier was now tilted on the right side and Damian and (Y/N) fell to the right.

" Hi everyone! So, a change of plans. I may or may have not destroyed an engine. " Jason said, making everyone groan over the comms.

" What did you do?! " (Y/N) asked, trying to stand up and steady himself.

" I was fighting back, okay? " Jason snapped back sarcastically.

" Oh my dear God. " (Y/N) said, clearly not impressed.

" Come on (Y/N). We have to go. " Damian said, moving on.

(Y/N) sighed, pulling up the schematics of the place. It took a long time for Bruce to find these schematics, but they were very helpful.

Damian nodded and (Y/N) dropped kicked a guard, knocking him out. The ship shook once more and an explosion started, knocking (Y/N) back. There was a hole in the floor, a huge one. (Y/N) could hear Damian screaming his name, but the explosion knocked him unconscious.

Bruce carried (Y/N) to the Batcave. It was a race against time. Alfred was notified and was ready to take him into the make shift OR. Bruce never felt so afraid and scared for (Y/N). After (Y/N) was taken care of, Bruce had to take care of Damian.

He knew that Damian was going to feel guilty. He knew it. He sent the other 3 to the showers.

" Damian. " Bruce started, kneeling down in front of Damian. " You are not guilty for what happened. You couldn't have known. Alright? " Bruce said, putting his hand at the back of Damian's neck and brought him into a hug.

He saw Bruce's face and his voice. He gripped (Y/N)'s hand and (Y/N) gripped back.

" Tell me what you see. " Bruce said, gripping (Y/N)'s hand back a little bit tighter.

" You, Alfred, b-bandages.. " He was calmer, breathing more regular. Bruce knew that he wouldn't appreciate the hug and the close proximity.

" So, I guess you want to know about... This. " (Y/N) said, pointing at the bandages.

" We know you may not want to talk about it, but we want to help you." Bruce said, sitting down on the edge of the bed, still holding (Y/N)'s hand, but still giving him space.

(Y/N) took a deep breath and started. He told them about his father and his clan and how (Y/N) was trained as a weapon. He described the trainings and Damian was appalled by it.

Damian forced himself to stay calm.

And Jason wanted to punch something when he heard about the punishments. He forced himself to breath. This was about (Y/N).

Damian felt physically sick. Dick was pale and had to sit down. Tim was silent, trying to be calm, just like Jason.

The four of them just wanted to hug their brother.

" I ran at around 10 years old and ended up in Gotham. And the rest is history. " (Y/N) said, wiping his tears.

Bruce couldn't control his urge to hold (Y/N). He hugged him tightly and the others came in. They were pissed at the things and they reassured him that he is safe. They gave him their word that they would protect him.

If they ever saw his father, they will drag him to hell to meet his creator. No matter what Bruce said.

As you all know i love Justice League Meet The Batfamily au fics. And i was thinking about how i havent yet read one focusing solely on Signal. Heres one idea on how it could go

Im thinking a au where the JL know Batman has Gotham associates to a extent (aka that he has some, no one knows how many, theres "Robin" but Robin is obviously switched out by another person every few years, etc) and maybe they know Nightwing but thats it. The extended batclan are playing assassin. And Duke gets Bruce. Which is majorly daunting. And pretty much a guaranteed failure. Duke is disappointed but decides to give it his all anyways

Now, there are ofc rules. One is you cant get anybody at work or school. However, "work" only applies to day jobs. Night time escapades are fair game. So Duke targets Bruce where he'll feel safest: the Watchtower. Its basically off limits for the kids. Does that break some rules? Yes. But it doesnt break any of the assassin rules and therefore the defeat will still count

Duke has to recruit some help, obviously. Babs is absolutely down for this. She messes with the zeta to not announce him and does some other stuff. Maybe causes a annoying distraction? Maybe helps make it look like there is a intruder onboard and helps Signal pick off members one-by-one like a horror movie? Maybe Duke just sits in a vent for 4 hours? Maybe another batkid shows up and starts a scene so Batman is focused on parenting them while standing surrounded by his colleagues so he wont feel there is a threat?

Either way Duke shoots Bruce with half a canister of yellow paintballs when no one was expecting a attack/a gun fight

Bruce is shocked. He's just looking at his hand where his fingers touched "the wound" aka the paint. Everyone is either stunned in silence or screaming bc Batman is down

And Signal comes out in the open with the paintball gun on his shoulder all smug. And theres commotion before Batman starts laughing. Everyone looks over. And Bruce just wades through the JL before reaching Duke. Congratulates him, Bruce beaming with pride, and Batman hugs him. Commotion once more: "what just happened!?" "Who is this?" "Is Batman hugging?!" I like it when ppl write Bruce as affectionate around his kids so maybe its a excited swaying hug where Bruce is laughing as he pulls Duke to him and drops a kiss on his head. One of his kids managed to get the drop on him! he's ecstatic! This is a milestone moment!

and maybe then whover has Duke as a target shoots him right as everyone calms down
