Summary: Meeting the Targaryens of Summerhall, and an overview of Cascenya - Lucemond’s second daughter and fourth child - making a deal with Toron Greyjoy, the son of one Dalton Greyjoy, the traitorous rebel

It’s a semi-soft family au with luke as violet bridgerton and aemond as an alive edmund bridgerton. This au is heavily inspired by @corviids “love resembles a misty dream” story on ao3 and obviously the Netflix series “Bridgerton”.

Lucemond’s children include; the eldest twins, a boy named Aemon Targaryen and a girl named Aemma Targaryen, the second son is Baelor Targaryen, the second daughter and fourth child is named Cascenya Targaryen, the third son and fifth child, Daelon Targaryen, the third daughter and sixth child, Elaena Targaryen, the third daughter and seventh child named Faena Targaryen, a fifth son and eighth child, Gaemon Targaryen, and finally, the youngest are another set of twins, a girl named Haera Targaryen and a boy named Haerion Targaryen.

The eldest’s namesakes are after Aemond for the son, and the daughter’s namesake being after Luke’s grandmother on his mother’s side. Daelon is named after Daeron, Aemond’s younger brother while Elaena is named after his sister, Helaena. Haera and Haerion are named after Harwin Strong, though it’s only speculation by outsiders - especially those who continue to believe and mock Lucerys as being a bastard son of Harwin Strong and his mother, the heir to the Iron Throne, Rhaenyra Targaryen.

Lucerys and Aemond’s marriage started off on a rocky foot, but they got better!… somewhat. They have that dynamic of being that couple that’s absolutely smitten with each other and will to anything for their beloved, but also has an on-again-off-again relationship but less toxic and more honest, they just have small little arguments that aren’t harmful to their love.

ANYWHO ONTO THE ACTUAL BRIDGERTON-BASED PLOT.

Aemon and Aemma are married to other people (Aemon, the heir to Summerhall, is married to Jace and Baela’s first daughter and third child while Aemma is married to Rhaena’s eldest son, heir to Driftmark and will one day make her the Lady of Driftmark - this is due to Joffrey abdicating his seat to Rhaena, as he and Daeron married [albeit in a ceremony known only to them, Helaena and the Septon before they made it public to everyone’s chagrin] and were given permission to make a home in Pentos, acting as Ambassadors for Westeros there).

NOW THEN; Cascenya is basically Daphne in this version of the AU.

Aemond is mostly out doing lord business, and Luke oversees the whole place and it’s residents. Luke is also responsible for matching his children as he and Aemond agreed due to Aem’s constantly changing schedule as Lord of Summerhall. As with the first season of Bridgerton, Luke prepares Cascenya for her debut into court society, and she catches the eye of Dalton Greyjoy the traitor’s eldest son, an eligible bachelor everyone’s pining for like Simon in Bridgerton.

Cascenya has no interest in the heir to House Greyjoy, but the two meet on “mysterious” circumstances (Toron definitely planned it, he’s infatuated with the white-haired beauty he saw strut in with her family) that jeopardizes Cascenya’s chances at marriage - one of the only things she genuinely looked forward to in adulthood. So the two make a deal; Toron Greyjoy will pretend to feign interest in Cascenya Targaryen to gain her suitors, all while signaling to other maidens of his unavailability as a husband (he’s most definitely VERY MUCH already in love with her, he’s a simp of a man for lil Cassy).

This agreement will hold until both get their end of the bargain. When the duo get back to the throne room, where a ball was being thrown, Lucerys was visibly joyful at this, unknowing of its true purpose, while Aemond - who surprised everyone in attendance when he appeared in front of King Viserys holding his beloved husband’s hand - looked completely stoic, with a hint of hidden malice directed at the Greyjoy.

Both Targaryen and Greyjoy blood danced in front of a crowd of onlookers, entrancing them into a circle of song and dance all while the two stared into the each other’s eyes, feigning love that hides playfulness and amusement.

My headcanon of a VK hierarchy

(Thank you wikipedia list of Disney Villains. I will be listing canon VK's that apply where necessary)

Rank 1 (Reflections) Kids of the "13 reflections of evil" (the 13 villains that are used most often in Disney's marketing). Often these are gang leaders (or at least high up in the gangs). Messing with any of them is a really, really bad idea. You're going to end up dead, or, if you're lucky, severely wounded.

Evil Queen (Evie) Chernabog Queen of Hearts Captain Hook (Harry, CJ, Harriet) Maleficent (Mal) Cruella de Vil (Carlos) Ursula (Uma) Gaston (Junior, III, Gil) Jafar (Jay) Oogie Boogie Scar Hades (Mal again, Hadie) Dr. Facilier (Freddie, Celia)

While some with strong connections to these villains (such as Diego and Jade) will be elevated higher due to this, they won't be in rank 1. They're more likely to be somewhere in rank 3 or 4.

Rank 2 (Big-name VK's) Kids of villains that might not be part of the reflections of evil, but still have big name recognition. Think of a disney villain, which ones outside of the reflections of evil are likely to come to mind first? Yeah, those are in here.

Rank 4 might have a hierarchy within itself, but it's not as formal as the actual isle hierarchy. For most if not all kids on the isle, this is the highest rank that one can climb to; anything higher than rank 4 is unachievable.

Rank 5 and lower Honestly, these are harder to be specific about since we don't really have any examples. These kids aren't really VK's. Their parents were sent here for crimes, yes, but they're not villains the same way the above are. Crimes can range anywhere from minor offences to murder. There is likely a rank system between them too (which is why I listed it as rank 5 and lower) depending on the crime the parents committed, but ranks 4 and up don't often bother with them unless they're recruiting (in which case the ones joining go up to rank 4)

Heyooo I decided to make a post for my interests and fandoms separate to my other one. this one with the goal to be a little more organized.

My name is Becca and I have been writing for the better part of my life (since I was 10 and cringe and am now in mid twenties). What I Read This Week: March 17th

Hey! Here is this week's installment of what I've been reading! I focused on some bigger pieces this week so it's really not as many as usual!

Come Over (Again)- Au of the Au by @punk-gremlin- Shayne/Ian - I re-read this so I could leave a comment because I hadn't before. This is an AU of Jace's fic Come Over (Again) wherein Ian is a trans man and has a three year old daughter with Anthony and in this AU he also gets pregnant by Shayne. You don't necessarily have to read Come Over (Again) to understand this fic, but it certainly helps! I love how Jace writes issues of gender and pregnancy so big fave for me!

I'm Here by @wtfissgoingonn Ian/Anthony- but reads mainly platonic with some underlying feelings going on. This is a beautiful and quiet look at Ian and his feelings revolving around Anthony as well as a look at anxiety and comfort coming from having his best friend. So sweet and soft and cuuuuute.

I Think Last Night I May Have Bit Off More Than I Can Chew by @punk-gremlin - Ian/Anthony - ianthony - a chaptered fic where Ian is a trans man and he and Anthony are FWBs as teenagers when Ian becomes pregnant and gives birth to their son Hunter. This is an excellent study of family dynamics, angst, love, parenting, and Hunter is so well fleshed out and feels like a real person! 30 chapters (as of posting this but it is not finished) but it is worth it and Jace writes his chapters in manageable sizes so it doesn't feel overly long and makes you want to click that next chapter button!

Anthony's body by @hecoxthirst - Ian/Anthony - ianthony - A Jennifer's Body AU! Such a good idea and I've never seen the movie so this fic was my exposure to it. It captures the spirit of the film but also incorporates the accurate characterization of Ian and Anthony. Very cool concept and very well executed! It is gory just so you know!

This Isn't A Fanmeet by SingTidecaller- Gen - This is a horror themed fic that is violent but not tagged for character death so I assume that as of writing no one has/will die? But the Smosh crew wakes up involved in an alien death game. There is humor in this fic and it is very well written and a very interesting plot! Three chapters as of this posting.

forgive my lying eyes by @tommybowefuneralattendee - Shayne/Spencer - shayncer - very interesting fic where Shayne and Spencer are FWBs. There are misunderstandings and miscommunications, but the dialogue feels very real and the spicy scenes are also realistic and very sensual!

Chapter 1:

Sammy sat at their usual table, desperately trying not to look around the establishment. They were late, of course they were.

Why would anyone ever be on time?

They looked into their almost empty glass. They were off-duty today and thus could drink, but they didn’t want to get too much into it in case anything happened. Force of habit, you see. They made a face into the glass and looked up when someone stopped at their table.

Jace Badun.

And a ragged looking Jace Badun at that. 

The not-so-gentle giant plopped down into his chair, pinching the bridge of his nose: looking bone tired as he did so. 

Well, it looked like the lateness wasn’t entirely voluntary, at least, which earned Jace a small insignificant plus.

“What happened?” asked Sammy like the occasionally well-mannered gentle-pirate they were.

Jace gave them a look that could mean only ‘I’m not drunk enough for whatever is happening’, and waved at the server. Sammy immediately took the small insignificant plus away.

“Well?”

“Fucking Harry got in a fight with your Harry about their stupid nickname AGAIN.”

“I don’t know why you stop them. It tires them out and they can’t bother you like that. It’s mutually beneficial.”

Look, Sammy had opinions about the Hook siblings. Mainly, they thought they were fucking feral. Secondly, only they were allowed to say that out loud.

They looked at Jace.

Jace shot back a shot of dubious quality that he snatched from a nearby table and deadpanned: “I fucking hate you.”

Sammy shrugged. “Mood. Wanna order now or are you stealing tonight?”

Sammy didn’t care either way. Harriet was giving them extra money for these nights. Jace grimaced again.

“Order now. Talk later.” Jace sighed, waving a server down. The girl, dressed in something that was barely considered classy twenty years ago, unenthusiastically walked over to them:

“What do you want?”

“Just a beer for now.”

She scribbled that down on her pad and turned to Sammy. “Great. Anything for you?”

Sammy looked at their glass and shook their head. “I’m all set for now. I’ll let you know when that changes.”

“I have no doubt you will,” she more growled under her breath than anything.

Sammy suddenly felt a wave of compassion towards her.

“Will anyone else be joining you today, gentlemen?” she asked, looking around.

“One more. He's start off with champagne.” Jace added, grumbling. Before looking back at the blonde. “Uma said she can't come: her mom's running her ragged again.”

Sammy ignored the server, who looked way too pleased hearing Anthony will come, and asked: “Evie?”

Jace shrugged: “Who knows? She and Carlos are running around now, trying to get themselves killed with Maleficent Junior.”

Sammy nodded empathetically. They had withstanded one too many rants about certain purple haired dragon-spawn from Harry. “Or maybe Anthony will know more. You know, Villain kids. They would live at the Salon if they could.”

Sammy also knew way too much about Tremaine salon, thank you for asking. With that thought, they considered asking for another drink.

Jace, on the other hand, just sipped on his own. Clutching the glass tightly in his fist. “I know. I've had to help Yzla practically drag Zevon from there.”

There was no ‘practically’ about it. 

They HAD had to drag him away from the establishment. Multiple times. 

Usually on the threat of death from a more than mildly annoyed Anthony who was running on less sleep than Jace himself was. 

And at least he didn't have to deal with CJ Hook of all people.

Usually. 

As both younger Hooks took it as their personal challenge to annoy their sister’s totally-not-a-boyfriend as much as humanly possible. Sammy didn’t try to stop this, as that meant more peace for him.

And anyway:

“Speak of the devil,” Sammy nodded towards the entrance, where a certain Tremaine lord was just posing for everyone to notice.

“Please, let’s not,” groaned Jace, „I am not drunk enough to talk about the de Vils yet.“

Sammy inclined their head towards the entrance more empathetically to make the point, as if the particularly stupid and/or desperate boys and girls suddenly fluttering towards the area didn’t do it for them.

“Anthony, get your ass over here. We don't have all day!” Jace was five minutes away from ripping his own hair out. Or Anthony's. 

Preferably Anthony’s.

That bastard would have it fixed by next morning anyway.

“You don’t have all day,” corrected Anthony with a bloody smirk, “I do. And I believe Sammy has as well. Something about your day off and strangling me if– …I might have stopped listening at that point.”

Of fucking course he did.

He turned at the nearest server: “Would you get me a glass of champagne, sweetheart? To that table over there, with the two gentlemen that try to pretend they don’t know me.”

Several of the employees giggled, probably hoping for tips.

Then Anthony sauntered over to the table.

“You know I hate you, right?“ Sammy asked.

“I am truly honoured by that.”

“Bastard.”

Jace cut them off: “I already ordered for you.”

He rested his chin in his hand. Looking both bored and done with both of them at the same time. 

“Oh, did you? That’s nice.”

“It just means you’re an alcoholic,” informed Sammy half-heartedly, definitely not thinking of Harriet and any other pirates.

Jace kicked them in the ankle. “Says the pirate.”

“I only drink when Harriet doesn’t!”

The brunette raised a brow. “Uh huh. Sure.”

“I thought we were supposed to be bitching about others and not at each other?” Anthony snarked, grabbing  his glass of champagne. Which he got delivered with astounding speed, because of course he did.

Because of course little Lord Tremendous couldn't wait for anything, now could he? 

The priss. 

“Then shut up and get started,” Jace snapped. “Before I decide to stop wasting my time and leave.”

Anthony gave him a look: “You won‘t leave. You want to complain about your idiots too much for that. Speaking of that: Guess why Evie isn‘t coming?”

Sammy did not want to guess. They waved down one of the servers still hanging around and finally got a new drink.

So Jace bit the bullet and asked again. “Jay got caught stealing again?”

Fun Little Facts

Jay will climb anything for no reason. He just wishes to be Up High.

Mal likes small spaces. She would be very happy to just chill in a box or cabinet.

Evie likes to do wacky stuff with her hair, makeup, and clothes when he mother isn't watching.

Carlos loves to take things apart and put them back together.

Riah fucking loves rocks. Especially the shiny ones.

Claudine has a gorgeous, if a bit quiet, singing voice.

Uma loves seashells for reasons she can't explain.

Gil absolutely adores cats. Harry will find cats and bring them to Gil when he's upset. Gil has a cat pack with over thirty cats.

Harry is an excellent uncle.

Harriet loves to dance even though she dances like a baby giraffe learning to walk.

Anthony sews stuffed animals for every child on the Isle. It's custom to tell him when you're expecting so that he can have one made by the time they're born.

Diego got into making instruments. He made a violin for Ivy, a harpsichord for Veronica, a koto for Carlos, a harp for Evie, etc.

Ginny loves the rain.

Sammy personalizes weapons they make if they make them for a specific person. You can also get them to personalize a weapon for you. Jay found a switchblade and Sammy molded the handle to fit his hand perfectly, Gil's bow had gorgeous designs carved into it, Uma's sword has an awsome hilt and a cool wave design on the blade, etc.

Freddie loves making dolls out of popsicle sticks. She just draws on the popsicle sticks.

Celia loves to hide in small, dark places. Usually under her bed. Not to jump out at people, just because she likes it down there.

Calisto (Chaos) is well-known among the little ones of the Isle because they love to watch him do his magic, moving things with his mind. They love it when he "makes them fly" by using his telekinesis to lift them into the air.

Arika runs a kind of daycare. People leave kids with her and she takes care of them for however long. No charge.

Amara (Agony) makes toys. She's famous for making awesome toys out of anything she can get her hands on.

Reza loves to come up with constellations like "the potato" or "the peapod."

Jade is a natural-born story-teller.

Yzla loves to carve wood and bone into little models. She carved a gorgeous model of Uma and Uma definitely did not almost cry.

Hermie is popular among those who love their pets because she can communicate with animals. She lets people talk to their animals.

Tara loves making hair dyes. She makes the best on the Isle.

Rick will help literally anyone with their homework.

Jace likes to collect stuff like screws and bolts for no reason other than he thinks they're cool.

Harry is into drawing. He's not as good as Mal yet but he's getting there.

Davin loves babies. He doesn't want one, he just likes to hang out with them and take care of them.

A Favorite Book by My Favorite Authors

Okay, so it took a long time for me to finally decide and write this post because I really want to bring a variety of posts to this blog. Though I have a lot of favorite authors, I’ve selected my top few and my favorite book from their works. So here’s a list of my favorite book from my favorite authors. 

Insanity by Cameron Jace

This is book 1 in the series of the same name and follows Alice Wonder who is stationed in an asylum after killing her classmates. Little does Alice know that there’s a world beyond hers where fantasies become a reality and monsters lurk, ready to invade and kill the people of her world. Monsters, only she can slay. 

Though I’m obsessed with the entire series, since I’m only supposed to talk about one book, I chose this one because this is where it all started and I love the setting of Oxford University. 

Zodiac by Romina Russell

This is book 1 in the series of the same name and follows Roma who’s trying to save her planet Cancer from being destroyed. The entire zodiac constellation is in danger and if Roma doesn’t step up and confronts the monster then the entire Zodiac will be on the verge of extinction. 

This is another series I’m obsessed with because of the world that the author created. I love the setting of this book as I’m an astrology and astronomy fan and this series fulfills that need of mine. 

Escape by Nenia Campbell

This is book 4 in the Horrorscape series and follows Gavin and Valerian as they embark on one final game and decide who will be the winner. Who will be the one in control. Rules are broken and people are killed and in the end it’s the prey with the predator. 

Obsession is a small word for what I feel for this series but this is my favorite book in the entire series because I’m in love with the characters and Gavin’s family is just insane. I love how it all ends and I just wish I could read this book for the first time all the time. 

Scorpia Rising by Anthony Horowitz 

This is book 9 in the Alex Rider series and revolves around the life of Alex who is on the lookout for the greatest criminal organization Scorpia for the sole motive of revenge. But when old friends reach out and death threatens to take hold, Alex Rider must do whatever he can to protect the ones he love even if he has to sacrifice himself in the process. 

Though these books are meant for younger readers I personally think these books are timeless and can be enjoyed by any age group. And this is my favorite book in the entire series and so this book is on this list. 

All’s Well by Mona Awad

This is a standalone and revolves around the life of Miranda Fitch who is a drama professor in a college but is envious of practically everyone around her due to all the difficulties she’s facing in terms of her health. When the time comes for the annual play her students want to perform Macbeth while she wants them to perform All’s Well. And when she comes across three generous men who make her an offer she can’t refuse, Miranda’s life takes a turn for the better. She thought her life couldn’t get any better until she realizes that there’s always a price to pay. 

I have yet to read the author’s latest works but of the books I’ve read so far this has been my favorite and I loved the ending and the climax within the story. 

Babel by R. F. Kuang

This is a standalone book and follows the life of Robin and his friends who get admission in the prestigious Oxford University in the translation department. However, they soon encounter problems in terms of racism and competition and Robin needs to figure out what’s important to him and what he’s willing to do to get it. 

This book is so intelligently written that I can’t help but fall in love with it. I loved the writing style and the whole academia setting and I really want everybody to read this book. 

Digital Fortress by Dan Brown 

This is a standalone book and revolves around Susan Fletcher who is a mathematician working with the National Security Agency. But when the Agency comes across a code they cannot break, it is up to Susan to solve the problem. However, when she discovers the danger that threatens to destroy the agency, Susan is caught up in a roller coaster of secrets and betrayal and getting out of it might just kill her and the man she loves. 

I read this book a really long time ago but I remember it to this day. And most importantly, I remember the emotions it invoked within me and I absolutely love a book that can do that. 

Phantom Heart by Kelly Creagh

This is book 1 in the series of the same name and follows the life of Stephanie Armond who has just moved into a new house with her family. She soon comes across rumors regarding the house and she soon realizes that the rumors carry a heavy dose of truth in them. But when she meets Lucas who holds a lot of interest in her house, she has no choice but to accept that the house is haunted, and the man haunting her house is the same one who takes her breath away in her dreams. 

I love this author and all the books by them. And I was having a tough time deciding between this book and Enshadowed, which is book 2 of the Nevermore series. But in the end Erik and his many beautiful masks won my heart and I ended up putting this book on this list.

New characters coming!

So, I will be adding a few characters to my list from the Bridgerton, House of the dragon nd The Secret History fandoms since I have just joined/renewed my interest in them

Bridgerton is the first one, i am about to start watching the third season and the characters available will be Anthony, Benedict and Theo

This afternoon I am having a marathon of HOTD with my father as I agreed not to watch the episodes without him until I was done with uni. I will be making fics for Jace, Cregan, Aemond (my morals go away when it comes to this man, okay 😅) and Aegon III (I know he is only in the books for now, but I am irrationally attached to him)

Last but not least, it's THD. My father is a Classics mayor and was at college by the time the book was published so he became a huge fan of Tartt. I found the book at his home and read it when I was eleven, but I did not have the knowledge to enjoy it completely back then. Upon coming back home I was cleaning the house with him and found it again. I decided to reread, now I am halfway through the book. Therefore Richard, Henry and Charles will be added too because I am utterly obsessed and I need to write for them
