Summary: “Oops?” Charles shrieks. “What the hell do you mean you made yourself trans?”

“And how does one do that by accident?” Edwin adds.

“I don’t know!” Monty cries. “I didn’t mean to, it was just— when the magic was, you know, doing its thing, I was thinking about—” He stops himself. Charles is Edwin’s. He needs to remind himself of that now more than ever, now that Edwin could go back to seeing him as a threat with one wrong move.

Monty hesitates, ruffling his feathers. Finally, he slowly dips his beak to the board.

YES Charles hums, drumming his fingers on the desk. “Well, then why don’t we find a way to turn you back?"
