- when trying to remove the implant, on the first two tries, a lethal gas filled the room killing simmons (and the second time, daisy)

- in one loop, sousa grabbed the machine to remove the implant from the drawer instead of daisy or simmons and started coughing up blood

- also he literally grabbed it so that if something went wrong daisy wouldn’t die and lose her memories of the time loop

- may initially didn’t want to tell kora about jiaying but then brought her to see her body

- kora tried to help her mother heal by giving her energy

- simmons started forgetting fitz after malick put her in the memory machine

Terrier review

5/5 stars Recommended if you like: fantasy, epistolary narrative, mystery, adventure It's been a while since I've done a full read through of this series, I forgot how much I liked it! Usually I only read the third book, Mastiff, since it's my favorite, but I'm glad I decided to read the whole trilogy this time. Beka is someone with justice in the blood. As a child she successfully brought down a crime ring and brought her family good fortune. As an adult (teen), she's ready to join the Dogs and protect the people of the Lower City. She knows that she's officially new to this world, but part of her is still a little arrogant that she'll immediately be the best. I liked seeing these two things side-by-side because Beka respects the law and the process of becoming a full Dog, but at the same time we still get a hint of that teenage confidence. She does become more aware and more careful over the course of the book, but it happened gradually and felt realistic. Her main feature, though, is her relentless desire for justice and willingness to pursue it. Having grown up in the slums, Beka knows better than most how often the people living there are ignored, and one of her goals is to do better. This shows up in how Beka is willing to follow a story everyone else dismissed, chase down leads in her spare time, and recruit her friends, both Dog and not, to try and figure out what's going on. Since I'm used to reading the third book, where Beka's well-established, it was interesting to read about the bits of magic she uses to help her solve her cases. She isn't a mage, but she can hear the talk of dust spinners and the dead, both of which can be useful. One thing that struck me is that Beka started training on this with her grandmother when she was fairly young, but doesn't seem to have a ton of knowledge or control over this magic. I'd expect after 8 years for her to have figured a little bit more out, but part of this could be because Beka does explore her magic a little bit over the course of the trilogy, so it wouldn't make sense for her to know everything coming in. I enjoy the side characters in this book as well. It was good to see Goodwin, one of Beka's training agents, again and I'd forgotten how snarky she can be. Goodwin is very no-nonsense and has a sense of tough love, but she also provides guidance and compliments when warranted. Tunstall is more mild-mannered than when he's older and is happy to have Beka along. The two of them quickly strike up a nice camaraderie. Ersken is a friend from training and the two of them commiserate over the tribulations of being new Dogs. He's also more than willing to help Beka on her case and is a good shoulder to lean on. On the less legal side, Rosto comes in pretty early on and it was interesting to see how things developed there, both interpersonally and on a grander scale. He's got a good eye on the criminal element and is able to use that to his advantage to move through the ranks, but at the same time he respects Beka's position and keeps a mderate stance when she's around. Kora, a mage friend of Rosto's, and Aniki, another one of Rosto's friends, become quick friends with Beka as well. The three of them are good companions to one another and I liked seeing them help each other out. There are two mysteries in this book: murder and kidnapping. The murders were of primary importance to the Dogs, who gradually escalated the investigation until there were multiple teams working on it. While I understand why the murder was the most important to them, it was the kidnapping that was close to Beka's heart and the mystery that I too thought was more important. I vaguely remembered the resolution from the mysteries from when I read it years ago, so it wasn't too surprising, but I think the setup is done well and could provide a nice twist. Overall, I really enjoyed my reread of this book and getting to know young Beka again. The two mysteries were also well done and I enjoyed following along with the cast to figure out who did it/them.

I finslly watched Rebel Moon and…

* sigh * I really wanted to like that movie… but it’s bad. I was expecting it to be bad in an entertaining way but no it’s just bad in the boring way.

I’m going to talk about this movie so this will be your one and only spoiler warning. If for some reason you want to watch this turd well consider yourself warned.

Before I even get into the movie there is something I want to say first. This movie includes two tasteless depictions of sexual assault. Reader discretion is advised.

At the beginning of the movie a group of soldiers attack a teenage girl and prepare to gang rape her before they are all killed by Kora. Later in the movie in Mos Eisley Cantina knock off Gunnar the male lead and love interest for Kora is sexually assaulted by an alien pig man who gropes his genitals.

These depictions of sexual violence are tasteless and gross and I could not in good conscience talk about the movie without talking about this shit. In the former scene sexual violence is used to motivate Kora to stay and fight for the villagers. The later scene exists only to instigate a fight scene and the fact that the only explicitly LGBT character in the movie is a rapist pigman who sexually assaults the male lead is incredibly homophobic.

With that said Rebel Moon

Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire is really the perfect name for this movie because it’s a bloated mess of a name that should have been edited down just like the movie itself. The plot of the movie is essentially the first 30 minutes of the Magnificent Seven stretched out over 2 hours. Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire is not a movie it is the bloated first act of a movie that should have been edited down but was instead just cut into a movie.

The movie is extreme derivative in both plot and esthetic. Imagine if one were to put Dune, Star Wars, and Warhammer 40k into a blender and set it to pure and then poured the ensuing sludge over the plot of the Seven Samurai. That is what Rebel Moon is. Now the fact that Rebel Moon is derivative is not in and of itself a bad thing. I will say there is a lot about the movie that is conceptually interesting. The problem is the movie largely squanders those conceptually interesting ideas; and just feels kind of bland all around.

The main antagonist of the film is Admiral Nobel who I described in my notes as a “WH40k-ass commissar looking Admiral.”

He is an admiral for The Imperium which is based on The Motherworld in service to The Slain King. And yes those are the only names we’re given. The formal name for the capital of the Imperium is never given in the movie. Nor is the Imperium ever called such in the movie. I learned it was called the Imperium from the Wiki and TV Tropes. But maybe I just missed a reference to it in the movie.

Nobel is the Admiral Hux of the movie in that he is a one dimensional fascist who serves as the underling for the more interesting villain which is Regent Balisarius (more on him later). For the record I don’t mind that he’s a one note fascist; because he doesn’t need to have any kind of depth and he is genuinely menacing.

Our Protagonists (since there are no Heroes “just rebels”). Is Kora aka Arthelais aka Scargiver.

She is yet another conceptually interesting character whose potential is wasted by bad writing, a poor performance, and the fact that there’s not enough female characters in the story for me to ship her with. (Nemesis barely interacts with her and Sam is a child).

She was a soldier of the Imperium but was also a victim of the Imperium. Her entire planet was destroyed by the Imperium in a genocide waged by her “adoptive” “Father” Regent Balisarius prior to his rise to power. After abducting her he groomed her to become a soldier of the Imperium and eventually rose to become the Bodyguard of the Royal Family who she definitely killed or at the very least was scapegoated for their deaths.

Now the movie itself doesn’t tell us that but it’s painfully obvious that Kora played some role in their deaths. She’s the most wanted person in the galaxy; her “Father” is now the Regent of the Empire; and there’s a flashback of her with the dead princess playing with a dog and the dog who had the exact same color pallet as her brings the Princess a dead bird.

It’s so obvious that the final movie is going to reveal Kora played some role witting or unwittingly in their deaths I literally screamed “SYMBOLISM” at my TV when the dog with the same color pallet as Arthalais brought the dead bird to Princess Issa.

And it’s going to be just as obvious a “twist” as when it’s revealed that Sam: the blond haired teenager who befriends the war robot Jimmy who directly compares her to the princess and later inspires him to take up arms to defend her after having lost the will to fight following the death of the princess is in fact the reincarnation of the Princess.

(I’m really going to look foolish if it turns out this prediction is wrong)

The actual plot of the movie is Kora and her Male Love interest Gunnar traveling from planet to planet gathering mercenaries to fight the Imperial Warship that is threatening their world and demanding grain from them.

For most of the movie it’s just Kora and Gunnar traveling from planet to planet to recruit warriors. The warriors get a scene where they show off their skills and their personalities that goes on too long. Then they join the heroes because the plot says so. Wash rinse repeat for an hour and a half.

Our heroes are assisted in their quest by Kai the Han Solo of the movie who is introduced selling out Rebels to the Imperium.

Kai is a lot like Micah Bell; in that the fact that his betryal the heroes to save his own skin shouldn’t be a surprise but it is. The difference is that you don’t expect Micah’s betrayal because he can be superficially charming and you kind of expect that he has more going on deep down.

Kai’s betrayal is surprising because after two hours of enduring Rebel Moon the character introduced selling out Rebels to the Empire betraying the heroes to the Empire is such competent and consistent writing you don’t expect it.

When the Kai tells the protagonists and the audience he sold out the rebels because he’s a rank opportunist while looting the corpses of some people they just killed you fully accept that he’s a hero now because that’s the kind of writing you expect from this profoundly stupid movie. People just do things in this movie for no explicable reasons so you’re surprised to learn a character wasn’t just poorly written it’s just our heroes were chumps who trusted an obviously untrustworthy character.

Nor do you expect his character to foil with Kora’s. As he reveals that like Kora he is the survivor of a genocide committed against his planet by the Imperium. But unlike Kora the lesson he learned is “don’t be on the wrong side of history.” Had the movie just kept Kora and Gunnar in the dark about his dealings with Imperial Bounty Hunters I would be able to say this was good writing.

But this movie was garbage and utterly pointless.

The only thing that actually happens by the end of the movie is the heroes assemble and kill Admiral Nobel but not really because he miraculously survives being stabbed in the gut and falling to his doom and is resuscitated by the weird Alien priests who follow the Imperium everywhere they go.

Seriously this movie is 70% filler that a competent editor would have cut down by condensing unnecessary characters and trimming down pointless scenes. The opening narration could have been cut from the movie entirely because the exact same information is relayed to the audience by characters in universe.

The movie feels like an unedited first draft right down to freaking continuity errors. Towards the beginning of the movie she confides with the village chief that she doesn’t feel worthy of love because “they” taught her that love makes you weak. Later in the movie she tells Gunnar that the Empire encouraged soldiers to take lovers Sacred Band of Thebes style as she is shown kissing a man.

And the choreography is just terrible; the violence is bloodless and weightless despite the fact the movie is not even remotely interested in being family friendly; and the slow motion is over used to the point there’s slow motion shots within the slow motion slots. Making every fight scene seem boringz

All and all this is movie is 4/10 and even that feels like a generous score.

This movie is an argument against the directors cut l; and I am dreading the inevitable Snyder’s cut of Rebel Moon and the bloated vanity project that will be.

I have been waiting actual months to be able to talk about my Night Shift OCs and @green-eyes-and-orange-ties has given me a reason with their 30DaysOfEchor challenge so here is their info for the week 1 prompts:

Character 1: Ino Aristos

Full name: Leucothoe Diana Aristos (maiden name: Jones)

Nickname: Ino, due to her parents being big classics nerds, as Ino was the original name of the Sea Goddess Leucothoe ("white goddess"), Loco, Dia, birdbrain

Pronouns: She/They (FtNB)

Age: 22 (Birthday: 6th August, Leo)

Disabilities: auDHD

She was born Veil-Touched after her mother got stuck in a veil anomaly while pregnant with her. She was born with black wings, though they are barely usable, she can flap them, often doing so subconsciously as a stim. As she's aged, feathers have began to grow on other parts of her body, such as her ankles and chest and the back of her neck. She also has a small magic where her hair can move like a limb, which she can use to pick up small objects.

Her mother and father are happily divorced, as they were in a lavender marriage and ended up with Ino after a very emotional night where they decided they both wanted a kid, and her father is now married to another man, and her mother is happily single. Ino's cousin happens to be one Miles Beaumont on her mother's side, they grew up in the same area so were quite close before Miles went to study law. Ino is also expecting a baby in late may/early june with her partner Atlas.

She considers home to be wherever she finds her people: her family, her wife, her friends, even the veil itself, but physically her apartment is in Downtown Echor, just about in the cheap enough for the two of them when only one can work (her VT traits make it a bit hard to get a job)

Disabilities: Autistic, has a slight lisp due to weird teeth (I'll elaborate later)

Became Veil-Touched aged 13 after her father, who disapproved of her transness, locked her outside during a veil event (he has since lost custody of all three of his kids and is serving time for child-abuse and neglect). She has spikes on her arms and ankles, tiny horns on her head (which she hides with up-do's), blood that glows when it reacts with oxygen, all of her teeth are sharp + her canines stick out over her lip, and has "nebula hands", where her hands, which are usually a sort of soot black due to being VT, become covered in blue fire that sparks, making it look like a nebula, with the sparks as stars and the blue-fire-on-black being the space holding it together

Eldest of three sisters. Her parents are also divorced, her father getting full custody of her but not her sisters from age 10-13 because "he wanted a son to carry his bloodline on", saved by her mother after the Veil incident. She is married to her partner Ino, who she met online on Tumblr after Atlas started a "life as a teenage shade" blog, which Ino related to as another teenage VT. They are expecting a baby together later this year in late May/ early June. She has always wanted a cat and a border terrier after Ino showed her pictures of her dads' border, but none of the apartments she's lived in have allowed pets.

Home is her partner's arms. Home is the dancefloor at secret VT clubs and bars. Home is the bathroom at her mom's house where her sisters taught her how to do her makeup. Home is under the veil lights, dancing with the love of her life. Home is the tucked away apartment in downtown Echor she shares with her wife, which she's going to share with their child, where she can be herself and happy.

Let's go with Kora!

I've. Already said a lot about her I think since she's one of the main character in Heartbearer, the original story I keep thinking about for the past 9 years and rarely do anything with outside of daydreaming, but here we go!

Kora is a trans woman, and is relatively short (163cm tall / 5'4ft tall). She is quite strong, especially arm wise.

Kora used to have a twin brother. Their parents were... definitely not great. When they were still children, Kora got trick by a wish demon, and after another fight with her parents, made her wish; only to bring a lot of death around her. Terrified, she tried to run away with her brother, but the energy brought the attention of Decaying Demons, and her brother was devoured by their corruption. Kora almost got corrupted in turn, but was saved at the last second by Morgano.

The man managed to stops the corruption from reaching her heart, and Kora barely made it out alive, though she is aware the corruption will remain and her life will be shorter.

Morgano made her swear to never uses the wish demon' power again, and reluctantly took her in as his apprentice, wanting to keep an eye on the corruption and knowing someone like Kora could be used wrongly in the ennemy's hands.

From that point, Kora met Brocéliande, a sweet little girl living with Morgano's friend, Gwenaëlle. Kora was very awkward and the more they met, the more she developed a tiny little childhood crush on Broce. Unfortunately, everytime she met Brocéliande, it felt like the girl didn't remember what they talked about.

When they were teenagers however, Morgano had Kora breaks her promise to never use the wish ability again, ordering her to erase all of Brocéliande's memories concerning Kora and the encounters they had along other things.

It broke Kora's heart to do so, as Brocéliande and her had properly started to court by then and Brocéliande was the kindest person in her eyes. Still, she obeyed, and stopped meeting with Brocéliande, doing her duty from afar to protect her.

However, Kora got recently wounded during a fight and barely managed to drag her ass to Little Harvestport in the middle of the night where she knew Morgano to reside. She lost consciousness as the door opened.

To her shock, the first person she saw after waking up was Brocéliande- who treated her like a complete stranger, unaware of their past.

Morgano's last order to Kora was to protect Brocéliande with her life, and Kora has been doing just so since. She didn't tell Broce the truth until Brocéliande's memories were given back to her by her goddess, and explained to her that part of it was because the wish's side effect was that she was unable to do so, and partly because she had swore to Morgano not to do it, seeing herself as nothing but an obedient servant.

Brocéliande had already started to fall for Kora by that point and after the shock of it all having passed, the two of them officially started dating again and quickly married.

Kora wanted to enjoy all the time she had left with Brocéliande as she thought she'd die before Liande, and Brocéliande wanted to enjoy all the time she had left with Kora as she knew she was bound to leave this world once the fight over, successful or not.

Every named member of the Xa-Qui family

The Xa-Qui family is one that is known throughout their universe, so here's a complete list of every named member of the family so far.

Elara Xa and Hari Qui

Elara and Hari are the first offical members of the Xa-Qui family, as their united love for one another leads to the creation of the name "Xa-Qui" Through both of their last names.

Elara was the Divineli, a warrior created to protect the universe and who is appointed in every lifetime. Despite this honour, Elara hated what she had to do and decided to give up fighting and settle down, to try and have a normal life. Elara married Hari when they were still quite young, as her call to be the Divineli would end up becoming greater the older she became.

Elara and Hari had one child, a daughter named Dania Xa-Qui, the first person to be born and exist with both of their surnames.

Elara would end up dying as she was shattering the sword of divine echo, trying to end the cycle of the Divineli, something which ended up not working. Hari raised their daughter as a single father, and while he could of remarried after becoming widowed at a young age, he decided to honour his late wife instead and become devoted to her memory and their daughter.

Dania Xa-Qui

The first person to be born with the Xa-Qui name, Dania was raised in a single parent household by her father.

Not a lot is known about her but it's assumed she lived on her family's farm with her father, and that later in life she married and had a child. It is believed she had two children but one of these children never married or had kids of their own, leaving no possibly of distant relatives in the future.

Senka Xa-Qui

Although his relationship to Dania has never been revealed, although it can be assumed that she was either his mother or his grandmother, and one thing that is known about Senka is that he is Kora's father and Mazen's grandfather.

Senka was a farmer like most Xa-Qui family members and spent his time with his family. He knew how to fight and would use this to train his two daughters: Azena and Kora Xa-Qui.

Senka dies when Kora is still relatively young, gifting her the farm as a wedding gifts, however he does outlive his daughter, Azena.

Azena Xa-Qui

Zena's namesake, Azena was the eldest daughter of Senka Xa-Qui and the older sister of Kora.

Azena was said to be born with a streak of white hair, which grew and overtook her hair the more she grew up, the first case of this happening within the family.

However, Azena did not have a happy life as her hair cause her to be overcome with terror and fearful for her life. Azena suddenly passed away at 15 years old, with no one in the family wanting to reveal the cause of her death. Kora was roughly 9 years old when her sister died.

Zena is said to look exactly like Azena, and was named after her after Azena's nephew, Mazen, told his husband what he would name his child if he had a daughter.

Kora Xa-Qui and Wye Xa-Qui

Kora was the youngest daughter of Senka Xa-Qui and the younger sister of Azena Xa-Qui. After seeing her sister die when she was a child, Kora became extremely fearful of losing anymore of her family. She and Wye met as teenagers, immediately having an attachment for one another. When Kora's powers became to manifest when she was older, she hid them from Wye, scared of what he might think.

After Kora's father died, Kora and Wye gained the Xa-Qui farm, deciding to raise their family there, while Kora stayed dedicated to protecting her family's image and honouring them like Hari had done with his late wife. Kora was extremely educated in her family's history and in turn, became educated in both the history of the Saints and the history of the Divineli.

When Kora was roughly 26 years old, she had her first child, a son named Mazen Xa-Qui, and around 5 years later, she would have her second child, a son named Zayre Xa-Qui.

When Kora was pregnant with her second child, a saint's ship crashed into the farm's land, which is where her family met the saint Soren Inei and his student Tye Loe Madon. Kora and Wye allowed their 5 year old son, Mazen, to be taken by the saint in order to be trained and to have a better life.

Mazen would visit his parents many times after this, with his final visit being when a fire broke out in the farm, leading to the death of Wye and Zayre. Kora gifted Mazen with the broken sword of divine echo before she was left to mourn on her own. The community of Nosomia would help her rebuilt, but it was never the same.

The last time Kora is seen, she is in her late 70's and is helping to train her granddaughter, Zena. It is unknown whether she met her great grandchildren or not.

Mazen Xa-Qui

Perhaps the most well known member of the Xa-Qui family, Mazen is the son of Kora and Wye and the brother of Zayre.

After being taken by the saints, Mazen was trained up alongside Tye Loe Madon, causing them to form a bond. When Mazen was 20, 4 years into him being a fully trained saint, Mazen began a relationship with Tye Loe Madon, leading to their marriage when Mazen is 24. Tye Loe didn't take Mazen's last name but it still a part of the family.

When Mazen is 25, he goes through a terrible event which leads to him being partially burnt and his arms amputated. During this time, his daughter, Zena is born, but is taken and raised by his husband instead.

Mazen is then presumed dead until he's 50 when his daughter goes on a mission to find him.

Zayre Xa-Qui

The youngest son of Kora and Wye, and the younger brother of Mazen, Zayre always admired his older brother.

Zayre would stay on the farm as he preferred to help his family than to try and become a saint, in fact Zayre had low power levels or skills, leaving him to only use them to help him with the farming.

Zayre enjoyed being a farmer, having his own group of friends, even though he enjoyed spending time with his brother's friends.

Zayre dies in a fire at the age of 20, alongside his father. It's unknown what Zayre could have done later in life if he had survived.

Zena Xa-Qui

Zena is raised on the planet Winxetania by her Titanfather, living in a large city below the palace and rich areas.

Zena is assigned male at birth, coming out to her Titanfather, Tye Loe Madon when she's 15 years old and having him help her choose her name so she could still honour her father.

For most of her life, Zena believes her father is dead, as that is what she was told by Tye Loe. However when she's 25 years old, she overhears an argument between Tye Loe and Talyra Tarick in which she finds out her father is still alive: Leading her to start a journey to find him. Zena at this time was gifted the broken sword of divine echo by Talyra, a sword which restores itself as soon as it's on her wrist, this would lead to Zena becoming the next Divineli so many years after her ancestor Elara had broken it.

During this time, Zena meets the crowned princess of Winxetania, Princess Thaniea Hio.

Zena and Thaniea end up in a romantic relationship, marrying at 30 years old and having three children through Zena's echo powers: An eldest daughter named Rayne and a younger set of twins named Valena and Kalen.

Zena would pass on later in life around the time of her grandchildren's childhoods/teenage years and right before the birth of the next Divineli.

M-8

Not a lot is known about M-8, however what is known is that he is a younger brother of Zena who was created around the time when she's in her mid 20's.

He is raised by a Harrow known as Lorna, and passes away when Zena's eldest child Rayne, is in her early 20's. He does not marry or have children of his own and is not actually connected to the entire family.

Rayne Xa-Qui

The eldest daughter of Zena Xa-Qui and Thaniea Hio, Rayne starts out in the world unsure on what she wants to do in life, whether to be a saint like Zena or a council member like Thaniea. Rayne is very close with her parents and her siblings, and is even close with her mothers' friends, who have become her aunt and uncles.

During Rayne's early 20's, she faces a loss of something she had grown close to which leads her to shut off from her family. Rayne retires to her family's farm on Nosomia that no one has lived in since her great grandmother. Rayne ends up having one child here, a daugher named Kiana. It is unknown who the father is.

Rayne is extremely protective of her daughter and does not want her to ever leave.

Valena Xa-Qui

Valena is the youngest daughter of Zena Xa-Qui and Thaniea Hio, and the sister of Rayne and Kalen.

Born before her twin brother, Kalen, Valena has spent her years preparing to become a saint like her mother, Zena. Valena, while enjoying fighting, ends up always having some sort of bruise of injury by the end of her training.

Valena ends up dating a medic named Calie Karion, who she spends most of her time with.

While Valena does not have children of her own, her and Calie end up helping to raise many saint students, becoming a mother figure to many of the new generation who seek her for comfort and wisdom.

Kalen Xa-Qui

Kalen is the youngest and only son of Zena Xa-Qui and Thaniea Hio, and the only brother of Rayne and Valena.

Kalen wants to go down the route of being a saint who brings peace by attending meetings, instead of being in the field. During this, Kalen goes through training given to him by both of his mothers.

Kalen ends up falling in love with an alien noble, who is a student at the same time as him, named Na'vida La'sene.

From her, the two of them would end up having four children, the most children that anyone in the Xa-Qui family had ever had: An eldest son with Na'vida's pink hair, the second born being a daughter who also got the pink hair, the third born being a son with Kalen's dark blue hair and a final child, the youngest, being a daughter with white hair but having her mother's light purple skin. They would all have the white skin markings that their mother has.

Kalen is the one out of his siblings to be the closest to his mothers.

Kiana Xa-Qui

The final named Xa-Qui, we have Rayne's daugher Kiana.

Kiana was raised by her mother on the planet of Nosomia on their family farm.

Kiana never knew the rest of her family until later in her life, where she would go on an adventure with the next Divineli after her grandmother, escaping Nosomia in order to learn more about life.

Kiana is almost an exact copy of her mother in appearance, however they differ as she wants to be part of something more: she yearns to have more to her life than being raised on her own, alone, on a farm.

So far, she is the last confirmed member of the Xa-Qui family.

My favorite movie character is Griffin, an alien who can see the future and is always optimistic... I try to look up to him. My favorite character from the books is Circe, she is depicted in this book as really cool.

Completely Random Agents of Shield Headcanons

Here are some of my completely random aos headcanons! Most of them are post-canon, but there are a few that are during canon.

One of Jiaying's parents had quake powers like Daisy.

Back at the Playground, they had both game nights and movie nights. This was Coulson's idea because everyone needed time to unwind once in a while.

Daisy, back then Skye, and Fitz definitely tried to sneak a dog onto the Bus at least one time.

May still played pranks on everyone at the Playground, but no one ever figured out she was the one behind them.

Alya has a ton of stuffed monkeys (one of which is named Enoch).

After Daisy recovers from dying and being brought back to life by Kora, May sort of hovers over Daisy a little too much before everyone goes their separate ways because when she was dead, May couldn't feel her emotions, and that was one of the worst feelings for her.

Daniel definitely tells Jemma stories about Peggy after the mission is done.

Mack is able to vouch for Bobbi and Hunter, and they can finally see the team again. Both were definitely surprised to see that Mack and Yoyo adopted a teenager from the future, Daisy is dating Shield-hero-from-1955 Daniel Sousa, and Fitzsimmons have a four-year-old daughter. Both congratulated Fitzsimmons and Mackelena on their new kids while giving their own shovel talk to Daniel. cause if you hurt Bobbi's Rockstar, you're gonna have some problems.

For Halloween, Alya definitely dresses up as Daisy/Quake. When Simmons sent Daisy the picture, she cried on Daniel's shoulder about it while he just laughed at her.

Alya also owns a "Quake is My Hero" shirt, which was gifted to her by Uncle Daniel. Daisy wants to be annoyed/mad at him, but she can't help but smile when she sees her niece wearing it.

During their off time off from shield, Mack and Yoyo take vacations to Colombia every year to visit Yoyo's family. They always take Flint with them, and Yoyo's family makes him all the best tacos.

The inside of a car is still one of Daisy's safe spaces.

Mack and Daniel become really good friends with one another and hang out when they have the time to, and Yoyo and Daisy joke around, saying that the two of them have a bromance going. But the two of them are totally having a movie night when their husbands are out.

Coulson let Alya touch Lola. Everyone watched in shock.

Daniel seeks help from May and Jemma when he wants to propose to Daisy.

Everyone cried during Daisy and Daniel's wedding because they were all so happy to see their daughter/baby sister so happy after everything she has been through in her life. Hunter won't admit that he cried, but Daisy knows he did.

Whenever Fitz and Simmons have a date night when they're in America, Flint will babysit Alya sometimes, and Alya loves it when Flint gets to watch her.

If the team does have kids, Daisy and Daniel's kid/youngest kid is a girl, and she is the youngest of all the shield babies, so she is treated by the other kids like the little sister of the group in a similar way Daisy was.

Mack also gave all of the kids their own nicknames.

In Deke's timeline, he definitely got May and Coulson together at some point, and they are happily married while kicking ass at Shield. And they may or may not have a daughter that they totally named Skye or Daisy.

I have a few more headcanons, but these are the ones I could think of at the moment. Might make a part 2!

- Dick whispers something in your ear and then gives you a kiss, then he leaves. You were confused.

- You were uncomfortable because the two men were still on your side, blocking your exit.

- Dick comes back after about 10 minutes, you wanted to hit him for taking so long.

- "You two are expelled." Dick said to the men, they were perplexed "You and bruce wayne run the city, not us. So why would we go out?", Dick gives a stupid smile "As you said, bruce wayne and I ran the city, and I bought it this club, and you are at my club in my town, so get out or i going to be forced to call the guards. "

- You were jaw-dropping and speechless, did he just buy a club so he could kick out the guys who flirted with you? Dick was really the most amazing guy in Gotham.

Jason Todd (18+)

- Okay, for Jason blood and jealousy mix very easily.

- You were in a bar, if dick saw that jason took you to a place like this, he would protest.

- You were there because the owner of the bar was none other than Artemis, so you could drink for free.

-Sometimes you forget that Jason is a vigilante, and unfortunately for him, there was a robbery across the street, Jason said he was going to solve it quickly and that he would be back soon, he kissed you goodbye.

"In the meantime, a man much older than you approached, and he was ... flirting with you?" That was disgusting.

- Jason has a sensor to know when they are flirting with you, because he showed up just in time.

- Jason took a glass of beer and drank, he hit the glass aggressively against the table when he finished.

- "Did you miss something in my girlfriend's breasts, you idiot?" Jason gripped his waist so tightly that it was scarred the next day.

- The man looked drunk, so he replied "Is this angel your girlfriend? You teenagers are idiots, you shouldn't be dating, so she should be dating an older guy--"

- That alone was enough to free the demon that Jason calls "rage" and it was all too fast, the man didn't even speak and Jason jumped on him, they were punching each other, kicking, everything to get hurt .

- You were so used to seeing Jason involved in bar fights that you didn't even care, in fact, you even like it when he gets involved in fights, because you know what happens after he finishes fighting.

- The fight lasted about 2 minutes, and as much as they tried, nobody could get Jason off the guy, and Artemis seemed more interested in cleaning cups than separating the fight.

- "I'll be right back, doll." Jason gave you a deep, hot kiss, very hot. He was angry and had just killed a drunk in front of everyone, he was dragging the man's body to the warehouse, you knew that in a few minutes he would have nothing but bones.

- Okay, he came back, and there he is, Jason todd all bloody, did you think it was weird that it took him less than 10 minutes, "Hey, but so fast?", Jason looked angrier than before, "He only had fat . " You were going to say something else, but Jason pulled your arm so fast that you didn't have time, you knew what happened when Jason got mad, and an angry and hungry jason resulted in things ... hot.

- he pulled you into the car, and threw you hard, you could already see the bulge between his legs, "Jason, yo--", Jason was horny, and was squeezing the steering wheel of the car, "I won't be able to wait until we get to the mansion, let's do it here.", " What?! Tim Drake:

Tim is almost a robot, he feels emotions only inside, but shows nothing.

- You were bored with watching him typing on his laptop, the coffe shop was empty and you could only hear the sound of the keys.

- "Coffee, can you get me another S / N?" You looked at Tim confusedly "You mean Y / N can you get me a coffee?", "That's what I said. Can you get it?" You were already getting worried about Tim, he hadn't slept for 3 days, it seems that being vigilant and a student is not easy.

- Well, you got up and went to get a coffee for your sleepy boyfriend for the 4th time, Tim like the biggest coffee, so you got the biggest one, and when you were going back to the table with Tim, a man unwittingly hits you, spilling all the coffee on your clothes.

- He seemed sorry, and apologized countless times, and somehow, those apologies turned into a conversation. You were enjoying chatting with your new best friend, until he asks "Do you have a boyfriend?", You loved Tim, and of course you replied that you did, and pointed to Tim.

- your friend wanted to forget that he asked this, so when you were going to talk again, "Hey Y / N." Tim came out of nowhere, the two of you jumped out of your seats, Tim had this Bizarre gift of being too silent.

- "Hi my love, let me introduce you to ..." Before you finished, tim completed his sentence, "Edward hanscom." Tim said coldly, "Yes! How did you know? I didn't even--" Tim interrupted you again, "I know a lot of things, and we better get going, I finished my job."

- "I-I think I'm leaving, Y / N, I'll see you the other day ..." Edward was about to walk out the door, when Dick came in, he was at work now (Officer) "Mr. Hanscom?" Edward nodded, "Y-yes it's me ...", "You're under arrest" and said, dick handcuffed edward and took him to the car to make sure he wouldn't run away, after doing that dick returned to the coffee shop.

- "Tim and S / N? How nice to see you here!", Tim just muttered something, and you waved happily at Dick, "I don't want to intrude but, why did you arrest him? I talked to him a few minutes ago." , "oh he? He was caught by cameras in a super market stealing food, I'm going to take him to the police station" you were worried about it, Edward didn't look like a criminal, so why was he being arrested?

- You thought for a moment and looked into the dick car, you found Jason inside. "D-dick, are you sure you are taking Edward to the police station? ...", "Certainly. Well, it was nice to talk to you but I better get back, I have work to do, see you soon, Tim and S / N! " Then he was gone, dick is gone.

- You left the coffee shop, you were going to the Wayne Mansion now "Edward was cool, it's a shame he is a criminal, and I'm not sure if Dick will take him to the police station I hope he will be fine ...", "he will be fine." You were a little uncomfortable with what happened a few minutes ago, so you took Tim's hand, "So, what were you working on, my little bird? Tim now hugged you, "Relax, i will let him go tomorrow, that was just for him to learn not to look at the ass of others' girlfriend", you were silent, until you think of something to talk about "You know Tim, you can do it be bizarre and scary at the same time, but I love y--" for the thousandth time, Tim interrupted you "I love you too.", you started laughing now" You have to stop interrupting me! This is scary you silly!"

VoV Stuff

Things (like only 2 of them) I thought to bring up/ talk about since I'm going through Visions of V again since his birthday is in like a week.

I personally think one of the most powerful things is someone who has nothing to lose or thinks that. That and well, like 8-14 year olds. Yall ever see Twilight Zone? Specifically It's a Good Life episode? The monster in it is a little boy who can read minds and he could make whatever he wanted. You might be like what the fuck Kora why are you bringing this up? We don't see a full fledged teenage or young adult Vergil when V connects back, we see him as a little boy. That seems like a 'duh Kora' moment but like, a small boy who is plagued by his nightmares and now believes he cannot feel like a human or emotions because if he does he is going to die from being weak. From that little boy Vergil lives a horrid life and then V plus Urizen (A FUCKING GIANT DEMON THING WHO IS POWERFUL AS HELL) are created.

Anyways we meet V quoting Infant Joy by William Blake, his intro of 'I have no name I am but two days old' Iconic, brilliant.

V's final words in the manga are of that poem as well. 'Thou dost smile. I sing the while Sweet joy befall thee.' ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!??!?!?! Like no. I'm mentally done. I don't wanna sit here and talk about how it reflects that Vergil is now allowed to feel and his inner pre-teen is healing and all that shit.

Don’t Hold Me -19- Carter Hart

A/N: as always, all previous parts are linked in my master list. Also, umm don’t hate me for what happens at the very end. MENTIONS OF VIOLENCE  at the end as well, so if that could potently be triggering for you please be warned.

There was a moment, right when you first opened your eyes that you could’ve sworn you were a teenager again. You could hear Travis arguing with Ethan just feet from you, with the sound of someone playing NHL in the background. You felt so warm due to a blanket that someone had to have tossed over you at some point during the night. You wondered if you would see your house when you opened your eyes.

But there was an arm wrapped around you. So you couldn’t be at home. You were in Travis’s apartment. Ethan came in to help you and Kora move all of your things into a storage unit for the summer. He was going to stay for part of the playoffs. Carter was sleeping next to you. You’d both fallen asleep during a movie. 

You wiggled out from under Carter’s arm, following the sound of the voices to the kitchen. Kora, who still looked half asleep, was tucked under Ethan’s arm. Nolan was playing NHL in the living room, yelling at one of the other Flyers through a headset. In your gut, you knew this was what a normal morning with them. This is what life should be like. 

“Y/N! Tell him that he’s wrong!” Travis begged, pointing to Ethan. 

You shook your head, still too tired to even start to get into their mess, “Please tell me someone made coffee?”

Kora stepped away from E, “I’ll pour you a cup.”

“Carter still knocked out?” Ethan asked as you sat down on one of the bar stools. 

“Yeah, you two arguing woke me up,” You responded slowly, “What were you two arguing over anyway?”

“Don’t ask,” Kora handed you a cup of coffee, “They’re being guys.”

“They’re arguing over who had more points when they played together,” Nolan announced from the couch. 

“Oh, that’s easy, it was Ethan,” You shrugged, “Travis had the most penalty minutes.”

Kora had to hold back a laugh at the face that Travis made. Truth was, although Travis was an incredible player, even then, he was still very scrappy. He made a lot of bad plays and often let his head get the better of him. Ethan was always more level headed, and was responsible for more than his fair share of assists. But when the two of them were on the ice together, nothing was going to stop them. You missed watching them together like that. 

“Someone had to do all the dirty work,” Travis explained, “But I don’t get that many penalties now.”

Kora reached over and messed up his hair, “No, you behave now. Like a good little feisty Canadian.”

“Careful, he bites when provoked,” Carter joked, finally seeming to have woken up. 

“Better watch it, we have practice in a couple of hours, I won’t take it easy on you,” Travis warned. 

“Okay Teeks, sure,” Carter kissed the top of your head, “Morning babe.”

You felt your cheeks heat up a little as you tilted your head to look up at him. This was something you could really get used to, all of you being together like this. You and Kora had to move out of the dorm, since the year was finally over. So Travis was letting her and Ethan crash at his place, while you stayed with Carter. Although, last night all of you ended up over here to watch movies and eat pizza. Nolan casually reminded everyone that pizza was not a part of the approved playoff diet. 

“Sleep okay?” Carter asked you, taking a sip of your coffee. 

You nodded and leaned back into him, “Out like a light.”

Carter wrapped his arms around you, dropping his head so his chin rested on your shoulder. His hair tickled your cheek, causing you to smile. Across from you, both Ethan and Travis were watching you with the same sort of fond smile. 

Kora looked between the two other men, “Just say it, they’re cute,” She huffed, “Nolan, you wanna play me?”

“I’d like to see what you’re made of,” Nolan replied, holding up an extra controller. 

The following night, you, Kora, and Ethan file into the arena, ready for the next game in the series. Carter was starting in net tonight, and Travis literally wouldn’t stop bouncing all day long. You made a joke that someone needed to take out his batteries. Kora held onto Ethan, smiling as random Flyers fans high fived each other for wearing jerseys. 

“Now this is a good way to celebrate another year of hell being over,” Kora joked, “We’re all drinking tonight, right?”

“You two can have all you’d like,” E told us, “I’ll be semi sober so I can take care of both of you.”

Kora looked up at him in a way that you could only describe as love. It was weird, seeing your best friend and your brother like that. Yet, it made you happy at the same time. You liked the idea of them being happy together, come what may.

“We should get to our seats,” You told them, “Drinks later.”

“I’m going to be the only one getting drunk tonight, aren’t I?” Kora questioned. 

Both you and Ethan laughed, knowing you weren’t going to have more than a drink, maybe two. The only time you ever really got drunk was with Kora, but you wanted to be sober for this. You wanted to watch every second as the game unfolded. You wanted to be able to run to Carter and hold him after the game was over, because who knew how many more times you could do that.

Kora leaned over to you once you were all in your seats, “You have that look again, are you okay?”

You forced a smile and tried to push away the sudden sickening feeling you had in your stomach, “yeah, I’m fine.”

But you couldn’t shake the sudden feeling that you shouldn’t have come tonight. That you should’ve watched from Carter’s apartment. But you hadn’t missed a home game almost all season, and you certainly weren’t going to miss a playoff game. 

Yet, every ounce of you was screaming to run, to get away while you still could. But you knew you were safe, Zachary wouldn’t dare come near you while Ethan was here. He wouldn’t really do anything in the arena, where all of the security knew you by now. You were safe here. 

You tugged on the sleeves of your jersey, pulling them down so they covered your hands. You couldn’t help the little shiver that went through you. So instead, you pulled out your phone and looked at the last text Carter sent you, vowing to win since everyone was here. Your eyes seemed to stay glued to the part where he said he loved you and he loved knowing that you were wearing his jersey. 

Although he laughed about it at first, somehow knowing that the jersey on your back was actually his old one, and not just one you got from the team store, made him feel different. Like you were really shouting to everyone that you were his, and he was yours. He often chirped some of the other guys about their relationships, but that all stopped when he realized how much he loved you. 

Because the truth of it was, Carter could see a whole life with you. An entire future that was so bright and full of love and happiness. He hadn’t told you that yet, mainly because he didn’t want to scare you. But he wanted everything with you. He wanted a ring on your finger, you walking down an aisle all in white, maybe a couple of kids in a house outside the city one day. But for now...for now he was just happy knowing you had on his jersey while you watched him play.

You hold tightly onto Kora’s hand as the clock ticks down. Carter was so close to a shutout. How often could you say that your boyfriend got a shutout during the Stanley Cup playoffs? You were so sure that your heart would beat right out of your chest. Even E seemed to literally be on the edge of his seat. 

Sure they were still a few games off from winning the series, but this would really tip the scales in their favor. For the first time you actually let yourself think about it. About what it would mean for Travis, Nolan, and for Carter. You could almost picture them hoisting the cup. Could almost see yourself on the ice with everyone, laughing as Travis attacked you. You could almost see all of it. You could almost see all of the things you hadn’t allowed yourself to want. 

The arena erupted, fans were yelling so loudly you swore your ears were going to be rining for days. You’d even lost your own voice sometime during the second period. You spent the whole game engaging with everyone in the arena. You hadn’t experienced energy like that in years. You were almost willing to bet that you felt the same level of adrenaline as the team did. Honestly, you’d probably be just as amped up as Carter when you got home. 

“He did it,” Ethan marveled over the roar of the arena, “He fucking did it.”

Kora nearly jumped on your shoulders, “My best friend is dating a goal god!”

You were in a state of shock right up until the time you saw Carter after the game. Then it was like everything kicked into high gear and you ran to him, you even jumped so he had to catch you. A couple other members of the team whistled jokingly as you kissed him. 

“You did so good.” 

Maybe it was the bit of alcohol in your system, or the adrenaline from the game. But you seemed to forget every little problem you had. You forgot about Zachary, and the impossible decision that lurked there. Or the fact that you still had to pick who you were going to spend the summer with, if anyone. You forgot about all of it. All you wanted to do was be with all of them.

“Damn you look good tonight,” Carter joked, tugging on his jersey. 

“We should go out. All of us,” You told Carter excitedly, “Like go get drinks or something.”

“You want to go out?” Carter asked, surprised that you were the one to even bring it up. 

“I feel like dancing and having fun. Finals are over, you just fucking owned the net. C’mon, please?”

“Hartsy take the girl out,” Kevin Hayes chirped.

Carter smiled and kissed you again, “Well, let’s go out then.”

So that's what you did. All of you filed into some club that Travis knew about. You weren’t really dressed for it, although you did have a nice top on under the jersey, but you didn’t care. Not as the music seemed to fill your soul as you held onto Carter. He laughed and danced with you, both of you seeming to forget everything.

Ethan watched as you let go. He and Travis just looked at each other and smiled. Neither of them had seen this side of you since you were in high school, before Zachary broke so much of you. Ethan felt himself relax the more you seemed to smile and come alive. Kora soon pulled Ethan and Travis both onto the dance floor, insisting that all of you be together. 

Hours later, so late in fact that you were pretty sure it was morning, you and Carter were slowly making your way towards his building. Ethan, Kora, and Travis all split off a while ago so they could go back to Travis’ place. You were still so giddy, happily talking off Carter’s ear. 

He felt a sort of warmth in his chest. This was the person Trvais and Nolan talked about. He was finally able to see the you that Travis told him about for years, the you that was free. He wished he could’ve met her sooner. 

“I want to go back with you,” You told him suddenly. 

“Huh?” he wasn’t entirely sure how you’d gone from talking about wanting a breakfast beagle from the diner off campus, that certainly wasn’t open this time of the morning, to wanting to go somewhere else with him. His brain was hazy, both from the alcohol and everything else that happened. 

“To Canada, if the offer still stands?” 

You stopped walking and turned to face him. When you really stopped to think about it earlier in the night you realized that there wasn’t any other place you wanted to be. You’d be safe with him in Canada, you would finally be able to fully love him there. Nothing would stand in your way. It would just be you and Carter. Everything would be okay. 

“God I love you,” He whispered before leaning down to kiss you, “Of course the offer still stands.”

“Good,” You pulled at his neck so he would kiss you again. 

You really didn’t care that you were in the middle of a dark sidewalk in the middle of the night. You couldn’t even pay attention to the cold that was slowly working its way into your bones. Because all you could think about was his lips on yours, and the summer that now awaited you. All you wanted was that. You just wanted him. 

“Now Doll, this isn’t part of the game,” You couldn’t pull away from Carter fast enough to find the source of the voice. But you already knew. You wanted to warn Carter to run, to get away. But there was a loud sound that made your ears ring again, but in a different way from the arena. And then...there was just nothing.

"Are you sure this is really what you want to do? I mean we can host the meetings earlier!" Connor rambled as he held the honorary midnight society speaking torch. It was an early Saturday morning, your dad was at another fishing trip which meant you both had free realm to do whatever as long as your dad didn't find out. You grabbed a mug in the kitchen to make some coffee you barely slept before the incident always juggling school, the midnight society and your band sleep paralysis paradise, now the little melatonin sleep you got was plagued with nightmares.

"It's called the midnight society for a reason, besides you knew eventually this was gonna happen." You said as you grabbed the sugar and creamers. You turned, Connor still at the table his partially eaten pancakes in front of him and the torch in his hand. "Yeah but you started this it feels wrong." He shrugged as he took a sip of his coffee.

"I'm moving up not on. There's a distinctive difference little brother. One that you'll understand when you're older." You said smugly. He rolled his eyes at you, "You're like two years at best, older than me." He said as pulled out his phone.

"Still those two years were the quietest of my life." You said placing your hand on your chest to act as if you were fondly remembering something. He picked up the dish towel that was tossed onto the table and threw it at you. "Speaking about quiet, you know that girl Gabby has been seeing, Flynn?"

You nod as you take a sip of your coffee, the caffeinated drink enveloping your taste buds. "Well her best friend is in this band called Julie and The Phantoms. They were supposed to play at the last dance, before the glow dance."

"Yeah, didn't they not show or something?" You asked not remembering much of the dance being as you were off in an abandoned classroom talking with your bandmates about anything to avoid the high school scene that you hardly fit into.

"Well, they're playing the orpheum tonight to open for panic at the disco and flynn managed to save a certain amount of tickets for your band and the midnight society!" He said as you jaw dropped, the orpheum was the starting point for every band that wanted to be something big. It was your short term goal for long term success since freshman year when your band formed. You couldn't lie when you said you were envious that they'd gotten the gig and your band hadn't.

"Holy shit, how did she do that? I've been trying to score opening for the unknown bands for months and struck out!" You said eyes wide, He shrugged, "I don't know, but she told us to never doubt her power. Whatever that means."

After the show you and your group found yourself at a diner a few blocks down. Buzzing with excitement about the show. Your mind casually floating back to the cute guitar player in blue, whose sleeves were non existent.

"Not to shamelessly self promo, but do you think Julie would want to collab with us or something?" Kora, one of your best friends and bassist of sleep paralysis paradise. For a quick second, Flynns poker face faltered at the question. "I can ask but Julie might be busy, with school and everything." She said trailing off in the last part.

"She also just played the orpheum, she's not gonna wanna slum it." Danny , self proclaimed guitar god, said as he stole a fry off your plate. "Whose the slum? Because last i check, i give it my all." Taylor, your drummer, said as they threw a ice cube at him. You rolled your eyes. While taking another sip of your milkshake. The stretched table sitting the midnight society, your band, flynn and nick.

"Oh really like to see you try the riff of now or never? Objections? Didn't think so." Danny said shrugging playfully. "You know sunset curve?" Flynn asked skeptically, which cause her to receive several stares from the table.

"Duh, my uncle was in the industry or something in the nineties. Found this whole box in his garage this summer when i was cleaning, after his funeral. All cassettes of bands that were playing the strip around that time. His husband and their partner just let me have it." He said as rambled before pointing up at the sky, "Uncle G you're a legend!" Causing several of the other late night diner's to look at your table once again.

Flynn's attention turned from the conversation to her phone and she suddenly needed to be excused. "I'll call you later." She said to Gabby before she disappeared for the night. "That was weird." Connor commented, everyone looking around in agreement.

"Danny probably scared her off." Luke said as he bite into a nacho. "Danny scares me on a good day." Jai said nonchalantly, Danny flipped off Jai.

"She probably forgot about her curfew." Hanna suggested as she threw an ice cube at Jai. "Speaking of curfews, whose riding with who?" You asked as you thanked your waiter for bringing the checks to the table.

"I gotta drop the car off to my mom for the night, so i can't drop anyone off. I'm sorry." Gabby said as you all shrugged it off telling her that it wasn't a big deal.

"I can take anyone who lives around my house and the school." Danny said as he pulled his wallet out. "I'll take anyone who lives around the pier or if you're coming over." You said leaning onto the table. "That leaves anyone who lives by me and like farthest is the park." Kora said shrugging on her jacket.

"Ok, so Danny has Jai and Hanna. Kora has Nick and Taylor. I have Connor and Luke." You recapped as you grabbed the money on the table and brought it hostess at the front of the restaurant, before returning to the table. "Lets rock and roll, homies!"

1 week later,

"Hey!" Julie exclaimed as she sat down at the table you were sitting at with your friends. You all exclaimed various greetings. "You're sleep paralysis paradise, right?" She asked with a smile that you were sure was formed with starlight.

"Yeah but usually people don't refer to us as our band name twenty four seven." you laughed slightly, "I'm Y/n, the singer and keyboardist. This is Kora, our bassist. Danny, "guitar god" as he prefers to be called and Taylor our drummer." You said as your friends threw up various hand signals. Kora a small wave, Danny a peace sign and Taylor a two finger salute.

"I'm Julie and my phantoms are not here at the moment." Your face contorted. "That's not them over there." You said as you pointed to the three in the far corner of the cafeteria.

Julies face faltered, "You can see them?"
