Captain Rook - a recolor and mesh edit

I've been wanting to make Rook a captain's coat for months, but was never able to find a mesh I felt fit. But then I saw this one, and I knew it was perfect. And since I didn't get to play my favorite lying pirate this weekend, I hyperfocused on making this instead. Hopefully someone else finds it useful!! And if you do, please tag me! I need more pirate sims in my life. ��‍☠️

Details:

Majorly edited mesh (removed armor and metal decorations from coat, made sleeves symmetrical, fixed distortion on hands, removed partial gloves, removed leg garter, removed coat tails)

Texture edits (removed pattern from the back of the coat, as well as removing shadows left by removed decorations)

19 new swatches for a total of 32. (3 more with black coat and pants + brown versions of the first 16 swatches.)

Known Issues: there’s quite a few split edges scattered around the coat mesh. Unfortunately they were a part of the mesh I started with, and aren’t a result of my edits. I might give fixing at least the most obvious ones a shot when I get back home, but no 100% promises.

Princess Cordelia: Long John was the first man I’ve ever loved. He was devoid of grace and beauty, a daunting and imposing threat of the seas—the exact type of man my father forbade me from seeing. And still, I found it impossible to distance myself from him. Our affair was filled with fervor and passion for an entire summer. I was so lost in the fantasy I could no longer tell the difference between my desires to abandon everything I knew to escape with him or to simply flee from the mounting pressures of the throne. It hardly matter. I never got what I wanted.

[Long John] I’m off. [Cordelia] I want to come with you. [Long John] scoffs The sea’s no place for a woman. No woman like you, anyhow.

Princess Cordelia: The novelty of it wore off eventually. I was tired of men telling me where I belonged. The last I saw of him, I had wished death upon him. I prayed the seas opened up and swallowed him and his rotten, filthy ship whole. If I’d known the gods of the oceans were listening, would I have spared his life in the end?

[Bob] I bring news from the ports, Your Royal Highness. It appears Captain Long John Buttercups ship caught fire last night. It is believed this was a planned attack. There were no survivors. [Cordelia] Well, it’s his own fault for being a lazy, unkempt man and a terrible pirate at that. I’m sure my father will be pleased there’s one less drifter in his waters. That will be all, Bob.

I really could have just put the entire lyrics of Ship in a Bottle on here, because every bit of them are applicable to Rook and his current place in the story. I've loved this song for years and I was dying to put it on Rook's playlist. Now that he's gone through emotional hell and is about to be named captain of the Tide Breaker, I finally can.
