Magical Starsign - Unused party member sprites (from karik on Discord!)

Special thanks to karik, who dug through the game's files, and found sprite sheets of characters who were (likely) meant to join the party in Magical Starsign! Hopefully we can get these trimmed out and uploaded to Kovopedia soon!

for my 3D modeling class we have to design a character to model, and I went for a pirate/ocean monster hunter otter cuz why not lol

anyway this were some concepts that we had to make for it! Pretty happy with what I got so far, gonna draw the final concept with colour soon! :>

There's like a pirate trend of sorts in the CR fandom rn and I'm taking to opportunity to rant abt some of my sea alliances :3 Only Abalone and Whale are of my design

[The Salty Shark] Abalone Cookie (She/Her) - The Navy's lorekeeper, in charge of keeping its history and achievements preserved to prevent them from fading into rumours. Despite this, Abalone is far more well known as an author in the Creme Republic, writing fiction inspired by her husband and his crew's adventures and fiction of the ocean she loves so much. In her early career, she was in hot water for writing "The Conque Republic", a novel set in a world where the positions of the Salty and Sweet were switched. Otter Cookie (They/Them) - A young but hardworking soldier of the Salty Shark hailing with the Lower City slums. Despite their cheerful and friendly personality, Otter is one of the best on the ship, their speed and surprising stealth makes them very useful for infiltration and spying. Though it seems that they like to spend most of their time talking about rocks.

[Pirate] Quetzal-Croco Cookie (He/They) - A pirate who's in it for the thrill, the mere sport of being a criminal of the vast sea on the run. Life before was too boring for them, but now they feel free and alive on the dangerous seas, even with the dangers it brings and the challenges of being a pirate. Though sometimes it's hard to take them seriously.

[The Whale Fall] Captain Whale Cookie (He/Him) - A highly respected Navy captain of the Whale Fall, and feared by many on the run from the law. No one really knows what his story is, as far as anyone knows, he had washed up by a village of the sea as a young Cookie with no one else in sight. He had nothing but a necklace with him. It is rumoured that he was lost at sea for years, which might explain his nonchalance towards the ocean and her cruelty. Sea Salt Cookie (He/Him) - Captain Whale Cookie's trusty first mate, hailing from a long gone village destroyed and pillaged by pirates when he was younger. Since that day, Sea Salt had dedicated his life to bringing such criminals to justice, and joined the Navy later on to fulfill this promise.

my relationship with ace is really one of those 'slowly and then all at once' type of selfships. a slowburn that builds up overtime and there's obliviousness about our own feelings on both ends of the coin

but looking back i can pinpoint the exact moment i fell in love with portgas d. ace. it was all over for me in that moment and as the years go by and i realize how i feel about him, i'm like 'shit yeah, i was goner right then and there'

but to finally answer your question - we are still fresh off the sabo death and i've decided to permanently live in dadan's house up on mt corvo. luffy just took it all so much harder out of all of us and pretty much begged me not to go back into town (because up until that point, i would go back and forth sleeping over at dadan's and back in my empty house in windmill village)

and lu's still taking it pretty bad, not eating as much as he normally would so ace and i go to check on him by the cliffside and luffy asks the sad but iconic "please don't die" and when ace tells luffy he'll never die, he's sparkling

it was an unknown game over for this version of nyla in that very moment

I’m watching Disney’s Pirate Fairy movie, and it just reminded me how OBSESSED I was over the knowledge of Pixie Dust and things getting swapped. So that got me thinking, what would the Hazbin gang/the Sins/my witches/the Sonic gang would be like in that situation? Whose ability would be switched with who? Who caused this problem? How would this type of idea work? So thinking it over, I would think my Chaos Witches would be a perfect fit for this. So now:

The Rainbow Chaos Witches were behind the waterfall with different colored outfits

Moon: *her whole outfit is blue instead of red* *goes over to the waterfall* Tide, can you part the- *put her hand in the water and it splashed the others, but Tide* !!! *pulled back to make the water stop*

All coughing

Moon: I didn’t do anything! I just- *placed her hand in the water and splashed them again* !!! *pulled back*

Jade: *has a red outfit instead of indigo* Moon! Could you stop NOT DOING anything?!

Tide: *in yellow clothes instead of blue* It’s ok. I got this *sticks his hands in the water, but instead he started to fly around like crazy* Whoa!

Moon: !!! Tide! Are you ok?

He fell down and groaned

Savanna: *has a cyan instead of orange clothes and goes up to him* That’s weird. Here, let me help you *go to help him up, but they stepped into some water and it freezes into ice and slipped* WHOA! *fell down*

Ice: *has green clothes instead of cyan and backed up to some plants* Whoa, what the-? *the plants around her grew massive* Gah!

Jade: What did you do?

Ice: I don’t know!

Kiwi: *has orange clothes instead of green* Wait, isn’t that-? *she suddenly turned into Espio* ?!? *looked at herself* Gah!! What the?! Why am I Espio?! How am I Espio?!

Moon: Wait a minute…Do you realize what this means?

Arrow: *has indigo clothes instead of yellow* Oh, my Chaos! Eggman switched our heads!

All: ???

Moon: …No. No, no, no. He switched our magic

All: What?/Excuse me?

Moon: I must be a Water Witch now

Tide: Oh, so, that’s why your outfit is blue

Moon: And I guess you’re a Sky Witch

Savanna: I’m a…I’m an Ice Witch *goes to a puddle, touched it, and became ice* Oooh. Cold

Ice: *held her arm out and waved through the overgrown plant* Plant Witch!

Kiwi: *still in the form of Espio* Looks like I’m an Illusion Witch now. Huh. Lucky me
