WHATS A REFRESH REBOOT SHOWER? ;
a refresh reboot shower are the kind of showers that u take that act like a reset button. i personally love them especially when i feel like i have so much energy pent up and i can channel it into doing something positive for myself.

ROMANTICIZE ;
something important to remember while taking a refresh reboot shower is to be PRESENT. thats what makes these showers different. instead of doing ur normal shower routine, or ur everything shower routine, this is the REFRESH REBOOT shower routine.
take time to feel the water on your skin. make sure its to the exact temperature that you like. smell the products that ur putting on ur body and bask in how yummy they smell. feel the soapy foam beneath ur fingers, wash every inch of urself HAVE FUN.
GUA SHA IN THE SHOWER ;
sculpt that beautiful face. gua sha is good for so many reasons. its good to reduce puffiness and swelling and its amazing for ur lymph nodes. do a full gua sha routine and watch how amazing u feel.
EXFOLIATION ;
exfoliation feels like (at least for me) like im shedding an old skin and revealing a new one so its a MUST for a refresh and reboot shower. so before the shower do some dry brushing for the softest skin then go in with a body scrub.

i rly recommend the tree hut scrubs or you can make your own with this simple body scrub recipe. so first off decide if ur doing a salt or a sugar scrub and i'll briefly explain the difference here.
sugar scrub ; deposits minerals into the skin, gentle exfoliation, hydrates the skin, helps draw water into the skin, less abrasive, smoothens and brightens the skin.
salt scrub ; eliminates toxins, gives a rosy glow, anti aging abilities, provides minerals vitamins and nutrients, tones and restores the skin.
to make a sugar scrub simply (1/2 cup of coconut oil + 1/2 cup of granulated sugar + 15-20 drops of essential oil of choice)...💬🎀
hot tip ; if u want to make it more scented you can even use a couple drops of a body wash along with the essential oil
to make a salt scrub simply (1 cup of sea salt + 1/4 cup of a carrier oil + 10-20 drops of essential oil of choice)...💬🎀
CHANGE UP THE SCENT ;
if u have a signature scent that you do a lot of the time, try and go for a different scent. im a hygiene junkie so i like to have a variety of different soaps to use, even though i almost always stick with the basics (smelling like a yummy cupcake) unless i want something different. changing up the scent can be refreshing so if you feel like it'll be refreshing for you, try and go for a different scent for a couple of days.
DOUBLE CLEANSE ;
if double cleansing isnt something that u do on a day to day basis then its perfect to do in ur refresh and reboot shower. wash ur body first with a bar soap (preferably something unscented or organic)
doctor bronners soaps work good too if u dont have a bar soap that u like. after using the bar soap go in with a liquid soap (ofc following the scent guide in the previous section) that way you can feel even more squeaky clean and refreshed.

By eating a balanced diet that is rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, you can help to maintain healthy, glowing skin. You will not only look your best, but also feel your best. Your diet should look like this :
· low carb
· low sugar
· 3L of water daily
· lots of veggies & fruit
· high protein, fibre & potassium
· only eat organic grass-fed meat (for meat)
· 3 Brazilian nuts a day, they improve your skin health & hair health
· ginger shots, a combination of ginger, freshly squeezed lemon juice & water or coconut water. · for a natural eye lift effect, draw a line (with a skin coloured pencil) from your outer crease all the way to the temple & blend in a sculpted effect
lashes & brows
Facial harmony is important to the face, and your eyebrows need to work well with all of your face.
For face harmony ask the eyebrow tech this: the eyebrow arch of the eyebrow should be aligned with the upper orbital rim of your eye, reaching it’s highest point slightly lateral to the outer edge of the iris.
For the length the eyebrow should start at a point above the inner corner of the eye and end diagonally from the outer corner of the eye, extending slightly past it.
Also the thickness of the eyebrows should be balanced and in proportion to your facial features.

The ideal waist to hip ratio backed by science is 0.6. The target 0.6 ratio is ideal and is genetic, so don't blame yourself if your natural physique doesn't fit it. Enhancing it to 0.6 requires hard work & surgery, implants if you're not naturally gifted. 0.6 is ideal and 0.7 is average. It's bone structure / genetic, if you're already slim and don't have 0.6 it's not your fault. You can only get the desired (0.6) by surgery or possibly by extreme diet if you don't have it genetically.
Our bodies as women influences the type of men we attract. You attract and get chased by higher quality, financially well and genetically attractive men. It's because slimness is associated with elegance, higher class and higher social status. It also signals good health and youthfulness and that you respect your body enough to keep it healthy.
Capture body images

The Gaang’s Favorite Foods
Aang is an ovo-lacto vegetarian. He still consumes milk and eggs, just nothing that requires killing an animal. Being more used to getting nutrients from a variety of plant foods including nuts and seeds, supported by nutrient rich bison milk and whatever eggs they eat in this world, Aang’s diet is surprisingly diverse and not as restrictive as it first seems. People have and still do eat this way. He loves egg tarts!
Sokka is a growing teen boy, used to a high-fat diet of primarily fish, mollusks, large ruminants, marine mammals (and their blubber), full fat milk, eggs, blood, etc, and only minorly supported by additional foods like seaweed, berries, tubers, perhaps the occasional imported flour or rice. He is going to need a LOT of animal meat and fat. Especially organs. The cookbook says he loves dried salmon collars.
Katara is also a growing teen girl, and considering what starts for girls around her age, she probably also has higher iron requirements. Heme-iron (from meat) is the most easily absorbed, and if it’s what her body is accustomed to, I imagine there’s going to be a lot of cravings there too. It’s possible she slowly converted to a vegetarian diet eventually, but there isn’t actually anything in canon to say that Katara and Aang didn’t just maintain different diets. The comics and cookbook say she likes soups and stews including sea prunes which are actually a type of mollusk.
Toph comes from a wealthy family. Although most of the Earth Kingdom relies primarily on staple grains (rice mainly, but also others), she likely had a decently diverse diet compared to others. Including plenty of meat (beef, chicken, duck, pork), a variety of vegetables, and even luxury items like refined sugar. According to the cookbook, she doesn’t like to eat her vegetables, which implies she had open access to meat for most of her life. She is fond of tea eggs.
Zuko comes from the wealthiest nation which is also in a tropical climate. He’d have access to a plethora of fruits the others had never even heard of! Tropical fruits, berries, coconut, and all the different dishes you can make with them. The nutrient-rich volcanic soil would also lend itself to farming, giving this country plenty of fresh vegetables and staple grains. However, culturally they seem to be a meat and seafood loving people, and spiciness is critical! Being a prince, Zuko would have even more access to all of the above than the common person. According to the cookbook, his favorite snack is sizzle-crisps which is basically fried and seasoned pork belly. He also sneaks Komodo-chicken to his uncle in prison.
BONUS:
Azula, like Zuko, is royalty in a nation blessed with great diversity of fruits, meat, seafood, and fresh veggies. We know she attended a harsh military academy which puts its students through rigorous survival training. Azula knows how to live off the land and likely can survive off of whatever petty things she can forage or catch. But being royalty, she is more accustomed to having whatever she desires prepared for her. She seems to have a bit of a sweet tooth, which can happen when you give a teen unfettered access to luxury goods like sugar. With her nation’s relatively advanced stage of industrialization, certain more processed foods and desserts are available to her. She is fond of cherries and in the comics she is a fiend for mochi!

tell me more about papaya. Ive never heard anyone say bad things about it. Can I put it in a smoothie? Also are there any other antibacterial foods Im unaware of? (Mad about onions)
Papaya is a food rich in digestive enzymes, which means eating it can help your body digest things better, even if your stomach acid is weak, your body isn't making enough of its own enzymes (like in the case of gluten intolerance and celiacs). You can even purchase papaya enzyme as a pill, but it's not as effective. There are other foods with digestive enzymes — mango, pineapple, avocado, banana, melon. That weirdly spongy fruit texture is almost always a giveaway that it's got some stomach boosting foods. Honey and ginger are also enzymatic, but they're antibiotic (not even antibacterial, full on antibiotic they're that strong). Coconut is also enzymatic, but it's a balancing act because the fat converts to antibacterials as it's digested, so you might try getting a product with coconut aminos instead of eating the coconut meat itself.
You can put papaya in a smoothie! You can put it in juice. You unfortunately cannot buy it pre juiced unless you're also going to drink a lot of sugar and other fruit juices. It is very tasty if you do not breathe while you are drinking it and rinse your mouth afterwards because your lips and mouth will also smell like vomit.
Almost every herb or spice is antibacterial. Turmeric, rosemary, oregano, sage, clove, cinnamon, black pepper, salt, even basil has a couple strains (though it seems more antifungal than antibacterial). It's speculated the reason humans like the flavor to begin with is because we know subconsciously it's protecting the food at make with it.
As for actual foods, citrus, cranberries, anything that is purple or red (grapes, pomegranate, blueberries, black currents, tomatoes, radishes, etc.), peppers, anything in the allium family, coconut oil, and honey are all antibacterial. Green foods — even green versions of red vegetables like green cabbage or green grapes — are not antibiotic, and onion greens are significantly more friendly than the roots, too. Plus, anything grown with herbicides and pesticides is going to kill your microbiome, so avoiding that and going organic is very important.

the  sun  is  setting  over  portum  harbor,  the  shadow  of  the  big  wheel  casting  over  the  sands.  it’s  a  yearly  event,  one  that  brings  the  entire  town  alive  — the  arrival  of  trucks  and  the  slow  construction  of  rides  and  coasters,  of  coconut  shies  and  colorful  stalls  selling  cotton  candy.  each  year,  the  transformation  is  gradual  but  inevitable.  the  empty  harbor,  usually  quiet  save  for  the  gentle  lapping  of  waves,  becomes  a  hive  as  vendors,  performers,  and  families  gather  to  gawp  at  plushies  to  be  won  and  funnel  cake  to  be  devoured.  a  scent  of  saltwater  and  sugar.  the  mechanical  hum  of  the  wheel  rising  with  each  slow  turn.  children  shrieking  over  the  decks,  laughter  echoing  as  they  last  rays  of  autumn  give  way  for  a  pink  and  gold  winter  sky.  soon  it  will  all  be  illuminated  by  a  thousand  glittering  lights.

grocery list time~
literally just get these things if you want a vegan low cal life, because you can control portions and make things you enjoy eating with less calories- i made some example recipes under the list:
coffee.
SPICES. please make the investment into SPICES!
->continuation of spices, heres a basic list- cocoa powder, cinnamon, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, veggie bouillon powder/cubes, salt, pepper, lemon pepper, etc (you can find more online but please dont forget it)
->and simple sauces like soy sauce, basic hot sauce, mustard, white vinegar, apple cider vinegar, etc.
stevia or agave fruit sweetener. (please make sure whatever you choose you dont buy any sweetener with aspartame!!)
dairy free yogurt (i’ve heard coconut is good)
dairy free butter (earthbalance is my fav by far)
-> you could also make due with olive oil (cooking)
1st milk for normal stuff- unsweet cashew milk or unsweet creamy almond milk
->2nd milk for cooking- i suggest soymilk but creamy coconutmilk works good too
tofu. extra firm and silky work for different things (meat substitutes, egg substitute, diff. milk products substitutes) get either/both
carrots, mushrooms, chickpeas, and cauliflower all make good meat substitutes (bacon, chicken nuggets, pulled pork, etc) if cooked properly
OATS! plain oats are soooo versatile (used as flour, cereal, granola, crust, etc)
ricecakes (i use it as replacement for toast)
Pumpkin or sweet potato (in NO SYRUP canned form, very good for cooking low cal desserts or protein bars)
apple sauce (used for cooking and just yum- can be an egg substitute)
low cal noodle types- chickpea, edamame, shirataki, konjac, cauliflower, zucchini, spaghetti squash, and i think miracle noodle
literally any and all veggies and fruits- but a reminder of basics are broccoli, cucumber, onions, spinach, beets, eggplant, tomato, zucchini, potato, apple, banana, grapes, oranges, pineapple, strawberries, watermelon, mango, etc
WARNING ⚠️ be careful of sugar free drink flavor packets as they contain aspartame and other strange ingredients that ppl have complained of side effects- i would suggest to steer clear of many of the packets and go for a large unsweetened lemonade or fruit punch bin of flavoring so you can make it yourself. please check ingredients for health reasons.
-> HOWEVER, drinks like olipop, simple truth organic, waterloo, and zevia all have flavored water/sparkling water/cola drinks that are aspartame free.
I highlighted things that i think are really important
Veggie dip: yogurt, seasoning spices (ranch seasoning is goated), and a tbsp or lemon or soysauc, all mixed and best used as a “veggie chip” dip, like baked cucumber chips
Literally any cake/protein bar: oats blended, protein powder, 1/2cup apple sauce OR mashed banana, some milk, and whatever toppings you like
Granola: oats, chia seeds, cut up fruit pieces, and maple syrup or honey for binding. mix in bag, bake on baking sheet on pan.
Hot n sour soup: you can use hot n sour packet or make veggie bouillon and add hot sauce, soy sauce, and tsp chili powder. Then (to whichever mix you’ve made) add egg mixing around, and then add extra firm tofu in little cubes. Let the soup mix well and set a little while cooling.
Nicecream: freeze banana. add banana, tbsp of milk, 2 tbsp of yogurt, tbsp of sweetener, and a fruit of choice (a tbsp of protein powder also will help). blend with blender and then let it sit for a minute- add whatever you want on top
my best “toast”: seasalt ricecake, spread 1tbsp vegan cream cheese, and then spread 1.5 tbsp of organic raspberry jelly.

PLACENTA CAKE

An ancient Roman cake of goat’s cheese and honey layered between a dried semolina pastry (called tracta, which some consider to be an early form of pasta) and an outer wheat pastry shell with a central knob of dough.
Other sources state the cake was also flavored with bay leaves before being baked, and then covered in honey.
Descended from the Greek plakous, which is normally understood to mean a flat cake, although some scholars believe it was named from the fact that it was “full of individual flat sheets.”
The name survives in many European languages, particularly the Rumanian platchynta, which resembles the ancient cake, and the Hungarian palacsinta, which now refers to crepes.
At some point in the Middle Ages, the word placenta came to be used for the human afterbirth, which has a coincidental resemblance to the ancient cake.
Throughout history the human afterbirth has been cooked and consumed by new mothers; it is said to resemble liver in texture.
Currently, the placenta may be dried and rendered into pill form so that new mothers may benefit from the recognized reduction in the incidence of postpartum depression in those who consume the organ.
BIRD'S MILK

Small, chocolate-enrobed bars with a soft, marshmallow-like interior, colored white for vanilla, or egg-yolk yellow for lemon.
First produced in Poland by the famous E. Wedel company in the mid-1930s; in 2010 the company received a trademark for them from the European Union.
From Poland, the candy spread in popularity throughout Eastern Europe, especially Russia, where during the Soviet era of food deficits, obtaining a box of bird’s milk candies was considered a coup, nearly as unlikely as milking a bird.
EGG YOLK SWEETS

The most basic form of Portuguese egg confectionery is a sweet, thick sauce of cooked egg yolks and sugar called ovos moles (soft eggs) used as a custard-like filling for tarts and cakes, as a dessert sauce or topping, or as a filling for marzipan sweets.
Although egg sweets are also made in Spain, particularly in the Castilian region that shares much of its culinary heritage with Portugal, it is the Portuguese who elevated the egg sweet to iconic status, developing an extraordinarily extensive repertoire of recipes.
In Portugal during the Middle Ages:
Food was scarce, and eggs provided an important source of protein. Eggs (from hens, ducks, and other fowl) were readily available, relatively inexpensive, and, at a time when most Europeans spent more than half the days of the year in religious fasting, the devoutly Catholic Portuguese regarded eggs as permissible Lenten foods.
Egg whites were widely used in sugar refining (which the Portuguese had learned from the Moors), thus an abundance of yolks were sent to convent nuns, a practice said to have been initiated by the pious king Philip III of Spain.
One effective method of preserving so many eggs was to cook the yolks with a large quantity of sugar.
Many nuns found experimenting with confectionery a welcome distraction from the routine of contemplative life.
