to the people who write summaries and wikis with thorough breakdowns of all the lore and media for a series that breaks it up into 20 different formats: you are doing fantastic work, may it remain intact and accessible well into the future, I owe you my life
to the people that decide splitting your series into 20 different media formats with critical lore in most/all of them is a good idea:
ARCHIVE YOUR SHIT IMMEDIATELY, WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING.
#my post#the hill i will die on is “DO NOT EXODIA YOUR MEDIA IF YOU WANT IT TO SURVIVE. DO NOT ASSUME. DO NOT SPLIT THE LORE.''#Example one: FNAF. It is in an absolute cocomelon state of comprehensibility. this is why the fans are insane (/positive).#Example 2: RWBY / RoosterTeeth. Were it not for the work of fans preserving their media#we would have lost SO MUCH fucking work and effort.#Example 3: Project Moon. Comics and fan-works have been scrubbed from the internet because they put their foot up their own asses.#(which at the same time i have endless respect for. but when the lore is any amount spotty. if you use a COMIC to supplement.)#Example 4: BATIM. Putting any amount of lore in the NOVELS is asking for karma.#(FNAF is not immune to this. AT ALL.)#Example 5: *EVERY FUCKING ARG OUT THERE*. It is SO stressful trying to get into a series on a timer-#-that is ENTIRELY decided by how long its host service keeps its components functional#Example 6: Warframe. Half the lore is in YOUTUBE TRAILERS. Half is in INACCESSIBLE EVENTS.#THE STORY IS INCOMPREHENSIBLE WITHOUT THE WIKI.#all of this is exacerbated by streaming services deleting anything and everything at the drop of a hat#and certain medias (BATIM. RoosterTeeth. FNAF) just straight up DELETING THEIR SHIT. for REASONS.#YOUR LONGEVITY IS DOOMED TO A BRIEF EXISTENCE WITHOUT A BACKUP PLAN

Funkycule fun fact #2884782: because penilians are hypercarnivores, they have evolved out of the ability to taste sweet things. Due to this, the penilian equivalent of candy is typically based on saltiness. Pringles are like candy to penilians
#if youre wondering how cassandra is surviving on earth as a hypercarnivore: 'carnivore' diet supplemented with the fact#that as partial scavengers penilians are gifted with being borderline immune to food poisoning#so in a pinch she could just like. kill and eat a bird JDKQHDKQ#shes still pretty malnourished though. earth meat isnt the same as what the penilians farm off nearby alien planets#(penilians no longer eat meat sourced from their own planet for cultural reasons)#nearby planets are similar enough to get away with it. earth not so much JDKQJDK#honestly a theres a nonzero chance that part of the reason cas is so chill these days is because shes malnourished#and also was basically forced to develop asthma because the oxygen content difference between earth and the penilian homeworld is#uh. noticeable (all species there are massive after all)#negated mostly by being constantly shapeshifted so small but shes still not entirely built for it BFKAJDKW#💛#funkycule au#rambling about this because i almost accidentally fell back asleep thinking abt it gm JDKQJDK

Every time I get sick I start googling "how to improve immune system" like maybe they've finally invented the miracle cure vitamin that you just take once a day and never get sick anymore and I just missed the announcement. And every time google returns to me the news that the only thing that even might work is to get better sleep, more exercise and better nutrition. Which unfortunately sounds significantly more annoying than the magic supplement cure.
#i know i know. the immune system isn't even like one singular system that runs from 'weak' to 'strong'#you know how they say everyone is susceptible to con artists and cults in some way or another?#mine is the wellness/supplement crowd and i'm so well aware of it#i DO want to believe that there's some powder or pill I can add to my food and it will fix all my problems#i want to believe it so bad

November is National Skincare Month
Here are some healthy tips to support your skincare routine in November, and every month.
Wash up. Use warm water, not hot. Wash gently, don’t scrub. Take shorter showers. Longer showers tend to dry your skin.
Wash your face every morning and night. Always remove makeup before bed. Use skincare products that match your skin's needs. Is your skin oily, dry, normal, combination, or sensitive? Do you have a skin condition? Use products formulated for you. Avoid scented products, especially if you have sensitive skin or eczema.
Moisturize both night and day. The best times to moisturize are right after you get out of the shower, and right before you go to bed. Toners are a good way to help balance pH levels in your skin. Look for one that is free of irritants like alcohol, fragrance, citrus, menthol, color, and other strong extracts.
Vitamins should go on your skin, too. Serums and creams like Vitamin C are topical antioxidants, and can help nourish the skin. The skin around your eyes is the thinnest, so it shows the first signs of aging. Even in your 20s, preventative care will keep your eyes looking healthy for decades to come.
When applying eye cream, use circular motions to stimulate blood circulation and reduce fluid retention.
Clean makeup brushes thoroughly at least once a week.
Chose water-based hair products as ones made with oils and waxes can clog your pores and create acne.
Be sure to exfoliate once a week. As we age, skin cells turn over at a slower rate than they did in our 20s. Without exfoliating, dead skin cells can build up on your face and body, clogging pores, preventing products from penetrating. This makes your complexion look dull.
Avoid sun damage by wearing sunscreen 365 days a year, rain or shine. Protect your skin when you’re driving or running errands. UV exposure contributes to signs of aging.
Sun protection doesn't stop at sunscreen - SPF makeup, sunglasses, protective clothing & hats can help prevent damage, which is much better than treating it after the fact.
Don't just watch out for sun, also avoid excessive heat from heaters and fireplaces. It can also wreak havoc on your skin causing inflammation and collagen breakdown.
Don’t use tanning beds or sunlamps. They emit the same harmful UV radiation as the sun.
Drink plenty of water. Drinking water can improve your complexion, help prevent wrinkles and tighten your pores. Dehydrated skin will result in dry, tight, flaky aging skin.
Drinking green tea is also good for your skin as it helps reduce inflammation, improve elasticity, and can help protect you from sun damage. It also promotes cellular repair.
Avoid alcohol because alcohol dehydrates the skin. This causes wrinkles and inflames tissue in the skin. Don’t smoke - People who smoke often age prematurely, have uneven skin coloring and deeper wrinkles.
Eating a healthy diet is an important part of maintaining healthy skin. Eat blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, kale, dark chocolate and other foods that are high in antioxidants.
Avoid sugar spikes as they damage collagen that keeps skin youthful. Proteins in your skin also react poorly to excessive sugar and cause your skin to age faster. In addition, avoid processed foods. They can cause inflammation and damage collagen and elastic fibers in your skin.
Eat healthy fats such as those found in nuts, seeds, avocados, and extra virgin olive oil. They contain antioxidants that help keep skin cells healthy. Omega 3-fatty acids that are primarily found in fatty fishes such as salmon, mackerel, and herring can keep the skin supple and moisturized. Omega-3 supplements are important too!
Avoid excess sodium (salt) in your diet. Sodium can suck the moisture out of skin and leave it dull and dry.
Reduce stress. It can take a toll on nearly every part of your body, including your skin. Treat yourself! Whether it's a facial, massage, or even a pedicure, be sure to pamper yourself to help promote stress relief and relaxation.
Exercise to help boost blood flow, which also ensures that your skin is getting the oxygen and the nutrients it needs to be healthy.
Get enough sleep. Experts recommend about 9 hours a night for teens and 7-8 hours for adults. Try sleeping on clean, silk pillowcases and sheets. The material glides easily over the skin and helps prevent creasing and wrinkles. Sleeping in certain positions may result in sleep lines. After a while, these lines can turn into deep-set wrinkles, so hit the sheets on your back first.
Visit your dermatologist regularly for a full body skin exam to help detect skin cancers. Early detection of skin cancer can save your life.
Sanitize your phone. Pressing it up against your face after touching it with unwashed hands can spread bacteria and clog pores on your face. It can also cause painful pimples.
To kill the bacteria, try cleansing wipes with hydrogen peroxide and wipe down all surfaces of the phone regularly.
Take vitamins because healthy skin starts on the inside! Though you may not associate vitamins with your skincare routine, taking Herpanacine Skin & Immune Support daily is a simple thing you can do for your skin. Vitamin E protects the skin against free radicals and inflammation. Beta Carotene can help brighten your skin tone and increase yourskin's production of collagen and elastin. Herpanacine’s superior formulation of eleven powerful vitamins, herbs and powerful antioxidants do that, immune support and much more for your skin!

The Natural Muscle Builder You Didn’t Know About: Colostrum Powder
When it comes to building muscle and boosting recovery, there’s a hidden gem that many fitness enthusiasts are only just discovering—bovine colostrum. You might be used to hearing about whey protein or creatine, but colostrum powder could be the secret weapon you’re missing in your fitness journey. Let’s break down why this natural muscle builder deserves a spot in your routine.
What Is Bovine Colostrum?
Bovine colostrum is the first milk produced by cows after giving birth. Unlike regular milk, it’s packed with immune-boosting nutrients, growth factors, and proteins that help calves develop strong immune systems and muscle mass. Now, imagine what those same benefits can do for you! Whether you’re into lifting, CrossFit, or just looking for a way to improve your muscle recovery, cow colostrum has something unique to offer.
Colostrum Powder: The Secret to Faster Muscle Recovery
If you’re regularly hitting the gym, you know that muscle soreness is a real deal. That’s where colostrum powder comes in. Rich in growth factors like IGF-1, it helps repair muscles faster, reduces inflammation, and promotes overall muscle health. Whether you’ve just finished an intense leg day or a grueling HIIT session, colostrum powder speeds up your recovery so you can get back to crushing your workouts.
Why Is Colostrum Powder a Great Workout Supplement?
So, why should you consider bovine colostrum as a workout supplement? First, it’s completely natural, making it a clean option compared to synthetic muscle builders. Plus, it not only supports muscle growth but also enhances your immune system—keeping you healthy and strong even as you push your body to its limits. Who doesn’t want to avoid getting sick and missing gym days?
Another reason is that colostrum powder has been shown to boost energy levels, which is key for powering through your workouts and staying consistent. Think of it as a double benefit: you’re recovering better, and you’re ready to take on your next session with more energy and focus.
How to Use Colostrum Powder in Your Routine
Adding colostrum powder to your routine is super easy. You can mix it into your post-workout shake or smoothie, combine it with other supplements like whey protein, or simply stir it into a glass of water. The best time to take it? Right after your workout, when your body needs those nutrients to kick-start recovery and build muscle.
Conclusion
If you’re looking to take your muscle recovery and growth to the next level, bovine colostrum could be just the thing you need. Packed with natural growth factors, proteins, and immune-boosting nutrients, it’s a natural muscle builder that deserves a spot in your supplement lineup. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just starting your fitness journey, cow colostrum can help you recover faster, boost your energy, and support your overall performance.

Can inflammation cause depression?
There’s evidence to suggest that inflammation can contribute to the development of depression in many people, particularly among individuals with preexisting inflammatory conditions or chronic illnesses.
For instance, research suggests that the link between inflammation and depression is commonly seen in conditions like autoimmune diseases (e.g., multiple sclerosis) and infections (e.g., sepsis) where the immune system plays a significant role.
How does inflammation affect your mental health?
When your immune system is activated, it affects not only the body but also the central nervous system, which includes the brain. Chronic inflammation is linked to changes in the brain’s chemistry and structure, which can increase the risk of depression.
Inflammation can impact mental health in several ways:
Neurotransmitter imbalance: ResearchTrusted Source suggests that inflammation may disrupt brain chemicals (neurotransmitters) like serotonin and dopamine, leading to mood imbalances.
Hormonal disruption: Inflammation can affect stress and sex hormone levels (e.g., cortisol, estrogen), impacting mood and cognition.
Neuroinflammation: EvidenceTrusted Source suggests that inflammation within the brain itself can cause cognitive and mood problems.
Reduced neuroplasticity: Chronic inflammation may hinder the brain’s ability to adapt and learn.
Oxidative stress: Inflammation may increase oxidative stress, damaging brain cells.
In many adults, depression and inflammation appear to be separate issues. One studyTrusted Source found that clinical depression in older individuals isn’t typically linked to increased inflammation unless they have preexisting inflammatory conditions like arthritis.
How do you know if your depression is caused by inflammation?
Determining if your depression is caused by inflammation typically involves specialized medical tests and assessments. This may involve blood tests to measure inflammatory markers or discussions with your doctor about your medical history and symptoms.
However, here are some signs that suggest inflammation may be contributing to your depression:
You have other inflammatory conditions (e.g., autoimmune disorders, chronic infections, or inflammatory bowel disease).
Your depression had a sudden onset (especially in response to an infection or injury).
Your depression doesn’t respond to antidepressants.
You have physical symptoms (e.g., fatigue, joint pain, or fever)
You have high stress levels (chronic stress can trigger inflammation).
You have a family history of both depression and inflammatory conditions.
You have elevated markers of inflammation, like CRP or cytokines, in specialized blood tests.
Treatment options for inflammation-related depression
Treatment options for inflammation-related depression typically aim to target both the underlying inflammation and the depressive symptoms. Here are some common approaches:
Anti-inflammatory medications: Some evidenceTrusted Source suggests that nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or anti-inflammatory agents like corticosteroids may be prescribed to reduce inflammation.
Healthy diet: A comprehensive reviewTrusted Source of 41 studies revealed that maintaining a consistently healthy diet, especially one in line with the traditional Mediterranean diet, or simply avoiding diets that promote inflammation, may protect against depression.
Psychotherapy: Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based therapies may help manage depression symptoms.
Medications: Some evidenceTrusted Source suggests that certain antidepressants, like selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) and serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs), can reduce inflammation in the brain, which may contribute to their effectiveness.
Light therapy: A 2017 study found that combining bright light therapy with antidepressants for nonseasonal depression could be effective. Participants also showed significant changes in immune-related lymphocyte counts.
Omega-3 fatty acids: Omega-3 supplements, found in fish oil, have anti-inflammatory properties and may help with depression symptoms.
Mind-body practices: Practices like yoga and meditation can help manage stress and potentially reduce inflammation.
Probiotics: Some research suggests that probiotics may have a positive impact on gut health and inflammation, which could indirectly affect mood.
Anti-inflammatory foods:
Here are some of the most anti-inflammatory foods on the planet, backed by research:
Fatty Fish: Fatty fish like salmon, tuna, mackerel, and sardines are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which have potent anti-inflammatory effects.
Turmeric: Curcumin, a compound found in turmeric, has been shown to reduce inflammation and oxidative stress in the body.
Ginger: Ginger has anti-inflammatory compounds like gingerol and shogaol, which have been shown to reduce inflammation and pain.
Berries: Berries such as blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and pomegranates are rich in antioxidants and polyphenols, which have anti-inflammatory effects.
Green Tea: Green tea contains epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), which has been shown to reduce inflammation and improve symptoms of arthritis.
Dark Chocolate: Dark chocolate contains flavonoids, which have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
Olive Oil: Olive oil is rich in oleocanthal, a compound that has been shown to reduce inflammation and oxidative stress.
Cruciferous Vegetables: Vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, and kale contain sulforaphane, which has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
Fatty Nuts and Seeds: Nuts and seeds like walnuts, chia seeds, and flaxseeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants.
Leafy Greens: Leafy greens like spinach, kale, and collard greens are rich in antioxidants and polyphenols, which have anti-inflammatory effects.
Garlic: Garlic contains compounds like allicin, which have been shown to reduce inflammation and improve cardiovascular health.
Apples: Apples contain quercetin, a flavonoid that has anti-inflammatory properties.
Pineapple: Pineapple contains an enzyme called bromelain, which has anti-inflammatory properties.
Sweet Potatoes: Sweet potatoes are rich in beta-carotene, an antioxidant that has anti-inflammatory effects.
Mushrooms: Certain mushrooms like reishi, chaga, and cordyceps have been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties.
+ anti-inflammatory oils >here<
+ If you are into extracts or diet supplements, you can find products similar to >this<.

## A Lifesaver for Energy Levels: My Experience with Vitamin World's Ultra 360 Multivitamin
For years, I struggled with constant fatigue. No matter how much sleep I got, I always felt sluggish and drained. This impacted my work, my social life, and overall well-being. I tried various things to boost my energy, from changing my diet to exercising more, but nothing seemed to make a lasting difference.
**Seeking a Natural Solution**
That's when I decided to explore natural supplements. I did some research and came across Vitamin World's Ultra 360 Multivitamin. What initially drew me to this product was its focus on whole-food sourced vitamins and minerals. Many multivitamins use synthetic ingredients, which my body often struggles to absorb. Ultra 360 promised a blend of essential nutrients derived from natural sources, making it easier for the body to utilize.
**Tailored for My Needs**
Another aspect that impressed me was the variety within the Ultra 360 line. It offered options for both men and women, with each formula catering to specific needs. I opted for the Women's 50+ version, as it contained additional ingredients to support bone health and immune function, both of which become more important with age.
**Improved Energy and Overall Wellness**
After incorporating Ultra 360 into my daily routine, I noticed a significant change within a few weeks. The fatigue that had become a constant companion began to dissipate. I started waking up feeling more refreshed and energized throughout the day. This newfound energy not only improved my work performance but also allowed me to be more active and engaged in my personal life.
**Beyond Energy: Additional Benefits**
The positive effects of Ultra 360 went beyond just increased energy. My overall well-being improved as well. I noticed a significant boost in my immune system. I used to catch colds quite frequently, but since taking the multivitamin, the frequency has considerably reduced. Additionally, my nails seemed stronger and my hair felt thicker and healthier.
**A Reliable Source of Essential Nutrients**
I truly appreciate the peace of mind that comes with taking Ultra 360. It ensures that I'm getting a comprehensive range of essential vitamins and minerals, even if my diet isn't always perfect. This is especially important as we age, when our bodies become less efficient at absorbing nutrients from food.
**Highly Recommend for Anyone Seeking a Natural Wellness Boost**
Overall, I'm incredibly satisfied with Vitamin World's Ultra 360 Multivitamin. It has become a staple in my daily routine and has genuinely improved my energy levels, overall health, and well-being. If you're looking for a natural way to boost your energy and overall health, I highly recommend giving Ultra 360 a try. Remember, it's always best to consult with your doctor before starting any new supplements, but for me, Ultra 360 has been a real game-changer.
