since i'm talking about bull today, i think its a bit of a mistep to say bull turning against the inquisitor in trespasser is an act of revenge for the death of the chargers. this isn't a result of the inquisitor betraying bull or hurting him. it is a result of the inquisitor reaffirming iron bull's place within the qun. it isn't something that the inquisitor "deserves" for killing a group of beloved soldiers. it is simply the consequence of choosing a political allegiance- the qun- and enforcing the idea that a small part can and should be sacraficed for the greater whole. the chargers can be sacrificed for the inquisiton, the inquisitor (and dorian, and vivienne, and sera, and anyone else bull befriended) can be sacrificed for the qun.

Saw like 2 separate posts not related to each other a few months ago about how Geno is good friends with Dream while the other post is just Geno hating Dust (I've been on the Geno x/vs Dust train ever since before I started posting here)

Also I probably ship Dream x Geno x Dust,, Because I think it's hilarious that one side of the relationship is all cutsey while the other is just fighting to the death (Dream and Dust are chill with each other)

im like sherlock homes when it comes to autistic safe foods. i was doing inventory on my cabinet (because why not) and there were 4 cans of spaghettios (5 when i first counted but then i ate one) and only 1 can of beef stew but I KNOW that last time my mother came home with groceries (5 days ago) she got one of the 10-pack boxes of the 15 oz beef stew cans and i have only eaten 3, and NOBODY ELSE in my house eats beef stew (no one else has even tried it because i eat it too fast for anyone else to even consider it an option) i would have also noticed the empty can by the dirty dishes so ive spent the last fifteen minutes searching in order to figure out where she has hidden the last 6 cans of beef stew from me. (I have looked through the basement pantry and every single cabinet in my kitchen) the rest of the box is on the left most side of the bottom center cabinet in my kitchen btw. i wish i was this good at math or actual riddles or some shit. what am i doing

Hiii, hope you're doing well. How do you think Vivienne would be as an aunt to the child/children of an Inquisitor who's her best friend? I just like the idea of her being that rich aunt that pops up randomly bearing gifts 😂

to be honest, i'm kind of mixed on this idea! im always very iffy on vivienne being any sort of aunt/big sister/motherly figure (the da fandom has not spared vivienne from the mammy stereotype whatsoever, and i think i've seen too much of it not to be biased), but i could potentially see vivienne filling in some sort of mentor role if the inquisitor has any children with magic. if for no other reason than the other options are solas and dorian, and vivienne would sooner smack both of them on the back of the head than let them mentor a child- especially a child of the inquisitor, who already has countless eyes on them. an apostate with no past or a tevinter mage? absolutely not. besides, vivienne already has experience with the circle apprentices; she probably would think she's best suited.

or, more generally, i could see vivienne stepping up for any child of the inquisitor purely to get them accustomed to being in the spotlight. vivienne has been part of the game since she was young; who better to teach someone how to survive orlesian politics than her? i can see vivienne giving gifts of fine clothes, jewelry, and even expensive schooling just to ensure they're as equipped as they can be to be in the public eye. enchanted jewelry, trinkets, or other items are also a big possibility. vivienne isn't going to let the inquisitor walk around not knowing how to maneuver in their new-found spotlight, nor will she let their children.

so maybe not a rich aunt dumping expensive gifts on the inquisitor's kid(s), but more a distant but proud mentor ensuring that they have every opportunity and resource that they need to thrive. and if that means getting those kids in with her own seamstress and personally ensuring that they have the best offered education and materials? then she's gonna do it!

while î procrastinate work on the ishimondo week prompts from today and yesterday, i thought of another neato idea for trigger splatty havoc (this will make much more sense if you’ve seen my other yapathons)

what if post octo-expansion, everyone in the gang meets up (probably via takemichi and taka since they have ties to both groups of people) and kind of, introduce themselves! they’re all part of the same side!

this includes introducing agents 4 and 5 (kyoko and hina) to mondo, since they haven’t really met before. it takes a bit of pushing for them to talk to each other, but they actually hit it off pretty well (mostly because they have taka as a kind of mutual friend (weird homoerotic totally not boyfriend in mondo’s case)) LONG STORY SHORT. what if they grouped together and kind of became something like deep cut? agents turned idols? i feel like that would be cool. sayaka offers to help them with getting on the music scene because there is only so much “sitting in an elevator and watching two people make out” she can take.

so those three get to have a kind of deep cut relationship and therefore, get to be in the third games campaign. still sorting some stuff out, like how to actually deal with the splat 3 campaign + who agent 4 will be, but we ball! i love gay squids this is just combining the least straight casts of characters from the least straight games ever into one au
