I will never understand why this fandom abhors crackships. Like this is a series about faerie smut. You’d think crackships and multishipping would be the standard but nooo. That’s SACRILEGE and PROBLEMATIC and anyone who partakes in crackships is an ABUSE SYMPATHIZER. (That sounds fucking stupid, doesn’t it? That’s what some of you deadass sound like.)

We got people writing essays and attacking other people and sending DEATH THREATS for liking Rhysta and Neslin and Tamsand and Nyxlin (and bffr, nobody is genuinely shipping Tamlin with a literal baby ffs).

I don't think Alfred has favourites.... But his dynamic with Barbara is unmatched.

1. she's usually inside, so they tend to see eachother a lot

2. Mutual Sassing

3. They both have an encyclopedic knowledge of everyone in the bat-family's favorite shit

4. They both have that "I won't hesitate bitch" energy. I just know Alfred has offered to let her have one of his firearms on hand just in case but she like "nah it's all good"

5. Babs is definitely constantly sending him the really awful food tiktoks just to see his reaction

6. I feel like Barbara is the big planner in the family (the stable one who doesn't overthink things, Timothy ) And when she and Alfred team up to prepare for anything, the efficiency is inhuman

7. Babs only one besides Alfred that could get Dick and Jason to calm down back in the day
