Cause wtf do you mean I’m so tired I can’t move or think. BUT when I do fall asleep, I can’t sleep a full REM cycle so then I’m just in more pain.

AND THEN on top of that I’m at risk for sleep paralysis??? Like what?? Why don’t you just fix yourself??? Sleep normally pookie wookie please???

idk if this is accurate but i’ve felt like in previous seasons riz & gorgug have been one of the inter-bad kids dynamics we’ve seen the least of & this season has been so great in that aspect. gorgug having helped make some of riz’s magic gear. riz helping gorgug with his studies. the shared birthday party. gorgug’s gift to riz being something he himself made to protect riz. riz’s gift to gorgug being something he illegally grabbed to protect gorgug. gorgug who utilizes rage to put his body on the line for his friends & riz who will take deep levels of mental stress for his friends. even though it was within the context of a joke, riz calling gorgug an “absolute sweetie.” like yea they might not be in a band together or both part of a presidential campaign team or owlbears teammates, but they’d go to war for each other, because they’re best friends.

As mentioned previously, everyone in the lighthouse is so eepy, you guys, especially Rook.

It's not that Rook doesn’t get enough sleep. It’s just that they burn the energy of three people everyday, trying to save the world, trying to take care of their own stuff, and trying to help everyone else with their problems too.

When Davrin finds them passed out on the courtyard steps between Assan’s feet, he wets his finger in his mouth and then sticks it in their ear so they awaken with a shriek. Rook laughs and they go on their way.

When Harding finds them stretched out on the upper balcony, soaking up the sun (does the fade have a sun?) she stretches out beside them with the latest gory novel she found in Solas’s library.

When Neve finds them perched on the very edge of the drop off into the fade she shouts and shakes them awake because, Maker! Rook! Do you pass out anywhere you stay still long enough?! And Rook apologizes for scaring her.

When Lucanis finds them lying stretched out in front of the kitchen fireplace like a cat, he prepares a pot of cioccolata calda for when they wake up.

When Taash finds them curled under the couch in the library surrounded by books, they take the blanket from the couch and tuck Rook in, like Tama would have done.

When Bellara finds them slumped over the piano in the music room, she playfully hits a few notes she learned from a music box until Rook stirs, because she really needs to ask her something, and it's important, and Rook should really go to their bed so they don’t hurt their neck anyway.

When Manfred finds them, slumped outside Emmrich’s door, he goes and gets the first person he can think of to fix any problem. Emmrich emerges, carefully scoops them up so their head is resting on his shoulder, and carries them into his room.

Three of the Veilguard see it.

Okay but imagine one night Bilbo is sitting talking with Bofur on his night watch, curious about all the instruments Bofur plays, and Bilbo mentions that although he can’t play an instrument, he likes to write rhymes and he’s written a full nursery rhyme that he’s proud of but too shy to show off or publish.

Bilbo is hesitant about singing it for Bofur, but because of how comforting and friendly Bofur’s been on their journey so far compared to the others, he’s persuaded into singing it for him and it’s the Merry Old Inn rhyme, and Bofur is blown away and thinks it’s amazing. Bilbo’s ego is obviously a little inflated by this but he’s still too shy to sing it for the company when they’re awake like Bofur wants him to, so he gives Bofur permission to sing it for them in the morning.

When they set off again per Thorin’s instruction, Bilbo is anxiously waiting for the opinions of the group while Bofur introduces the rhyme to the company. As soon as he’s done singing, they all love it and Bilbo is so grateful for the justice Bofur’s performance served his song. Eventually it gets sung so much, the company all learns it themselves, so by the time they get to Rivendell they all know it off by heart when Bofur performs it at dinner, and although Bilbo is a little embarrassed at how rude of guests they’re being to the elves, he is so excited that they love it so much.

sometimes it feels like lewis has a degree of distance from the rest of the grid that makes it hard to connect to him (i, a newer fan, took a while to even get a proper sense of his vibes). he’s such a legend and icon in the sport there’s always a little bit of separation i think — maybe subconsciously for some of the older drivers, but i think it’s more prevalent in the younger drivers because so many of them actually idolized him for years and are suddenly racing with him. max may be getting there but he also grew up with most of the grid, and he has his funky little hobbies (twitch streaming sim races) that give fans a glimpse of him casually. i’m not sure why lewis doesn’t participate in grill the grid/f1 videos but when you think about it that’s how a lot of people get some more casual impressions of the drivers they don’t follow as closely (or at all), and then he’s not there. there’s just this air of legendary about him so when you see him standing alone it seems intentional, in a way. he is always standing on his own as a leader in many (metaphorical) ways so i can understand why the drivers might see him minding his business during the parade and think he wants the space.

anyway all this to say there is a special kind of happiness in seeing charles decide to break through the wall of godliness to keep lewis company and bring him back to their level. lewis seems so much more engaged and lively and mortal when he’s happy chatting with the other drivers and being a bit mischievous and it’s like oh, i’m finally seeing the lewis hamilton he was before the myth and fame and weight of leadership. i think he’s really going to seem like a whole new person next season with charles and ferrari for those of us who didn’t know that lewis and i really really like the idea of getting to meet him ❤️

YES OF COURSE, COMING RIGHT UP!!

INTRODUCING…MARGOT! She is a sleepy girl. She’s worked too many salmon run shifts. She mains the tri-stringer!

She’s quiet and introverted and doesn’t really care what others think of her. She also never had a lot of friends. This leads to her being a little blunt and off putting….but she’s working on it!!!

She started working salmon run shifts around splatoon 2 when she was only 14 years old. She lied about her age and Grizz didn’t really care. She started working at Grizzco for 2 reasons:

1: she wanted to make some money for herself. She lived in foster care / jumped around foster homes and orphanages most of her life and wanted to save up enough money so she could buy her own apartment and live by herself.

2: She is absolutely FASCINATED by salmonids. She can’t get enough of learning about them. And fighting them. It’s a chaotic fascination.

She does so much salmon run and doesn’t sleep enough or take very good care of herself. But she’s making good money and improving her skills and learning a lot about salmonids. She even found a little buddy that seems to really like her! She named him Socks.

She also made a friend named Millie who works salmon run shifts with her! (She’s the inkling pictured with Margot in the first image!) She’s a little clingy and weird, but..Margot likes her. She’d never admit it! (Millie belongs to the amazing @paninipanem)

She turned 17 during splatoon 3, and got recruited by Cuttlefish while walking home after a Grizzco shift. She thought he was kind of weird but went along with whatever he wanted. She may not care what others think, but she does have morals.

And then they FREAKING FELL DOWN A HOLE INTO ALTERNA AND WENT MISSING FOR MONTHS. Oops. Thanks cuttlefish.

Alterna was really confusing and…exciting for Margot. She didn’t want to show it, but she was super happy to form such deep relationships with Callie, Marie, and Reese (Captain 3.) Although the four of them were hopelessly lost in a scary place, they made it really fun.

She began to come out of her shell and feel comfortable around them. When she was in the foster care system, she never stayed with any families for very long, so she never opened up to anyone or made any friends. She didn’t even have bullies because they didn’t know she existed. She was invisible her whole life.

The NSS made her feel seen. She became emotionally attached to them. She’d never admit it, but she totally did! They treated her like a little sister.

But all things considered…Alterna was pretty terrifying. She had some close calls with the fuzzy ink. And when the final boss fight happened and she got LAUNCHED INTO SPACE? WTTFF????

The fact that MR. GRIZZ - HER BOSS. ENDED UP BEING THE VILLAIN. Her whole world got turned upside down.

She managed to beat him with the help of the NSS and even Octavio. She was injured on both her legs where fuzzy ink had struck her on the spaceship. When they returned to the surface, she wasn’t sure what to do. She was injured, she wasn’t ready to go back to grizzco, and her Foster family seemed to have forgotten about her.

Callie and Marie seemed to realize this and took her in. YAY!

Fast forward a few months…everyone is recovered and happy and the NSS is currently working to rescue octolings and keep salmonids from coming too close to Inkopolis!

And two of the old agents came back after being MIA for months. They were in the weird hell dimension. Whatever that’s about. (Side order)

Margot is back at Grizzco. She couldn’t leave her friend Millie hanging! (Millie was so worried those months that Margot was in Alterna. She stuck missing posters all around the place and could barely complete a single Grizzco shift without her amazing partner!)

But yeah! That’s the basic gist of it. I feel like Margot has a lot more I could say about her (lore and personality wise) but I’ll save that for another time!

Jimmy’s relationship to suicide is a little funny. Like he crashes out (literally) in the beginning and immediately is like AHHHHH!!!!!! -fetal position rocking sobbing- and then he survives and he’s gotta be awkwardly standing there going “oh….ummmmm well that was weird amirite, guys? Geez, who would…who would KILL THEMSELVES like THAT? I mean come on.” And later when he finds out about the Cyropod I just know he was like “um fuckinggggg score let’s gooooo” but when Swansea calls him a coward he immediately pivots to shooting himself as Plan B. Which is….just an amazing leap in logic. An absolute masterclass example of thinking on the fly from Mr. Jimmy Mouthwashing. And again before he activates Plan B he has an AHHHHH!!!!!! -fetal position rocking sobbing- sequence. Like brother….the second crash out is too much. make up your mind lol
