It’s really cool to see how orv looks from your guys’s perspectives and realizing what some scenes meant

Heck, I believed Kdj’s narrative during the webnovel until the fandom woke me up and handed me depression word soup :)

Personally I can’t really put into words what I think and feel- being able to come across posts where it’s put into words just makes my day

Seeing the orv fandom share endless commentaries of the story, their reactions, alternate universe takes, theories and fanart- it all makes it feel like orv never really ended

literally no one was doing it like natsuno yuuki. he was genre savvy but he was also fucking gay so he still died. after his death he started dressing like the google search results for gay vampire. his only friends were his homoerotic bestie, an adult medical professional speed running his descent into madness, and two random kids he dug up his stalker’s grave with. he became a vampire and was immediately better at it than all of the other vampires but he thought they were bitches so he didn’t even tell them he turned. his last words was that he was never going to make it out of that town alive but if anyone could have it was him and that’s what makes him so tragic. he died trying to save someone who was never ever going to save him back. he wasn’t afraid to die because he was already dead. he burned the entire town to the ground mourning his own death and he didn’t do it to save a single goddamn person, he did it because they murdered him and he was going to fucking hurt them back for it. I’m obsessed with him

Also I just had a Thought about ElQuackity’s second death.

We know that cc!Bad really wanted q!Bad to lose a life in the explosion, and therefore to some extent q!Bad also wanted to die but…

But Bad wasn’t holding a totem like ElQuackity was and well, a totem presumably repairs any lethal damage done to its user’s body - just enough to keep them living and nothing more - so ElQuackity must’ve still been heavily injured and near deaf from being blown sky high even after popping a totem.

But Bad wasn’t holding a totem, and he also got caught in the middle of the explosion alongside ElQuackity - the difference is that none of the wounds Bad sustained healed at all. Bad survived the initial explosion on 2 hearts (which is insane) and then was attacked by ElQuackity who brought him down to half a heart - HALF A HEART - before Max finished him off. One more hit and Bad would’ve gone down, and I don’t think ElQuackity would’ve given him the chance to get back up.

Except as ElQuackity was slowly but surely killing him, Bad barely fought back. He swings his sword half-heartedly a couple times, but out of those attempts he misses quite a few.

My Thought? Maybe it wasn’t just that q!Bad wanted to sacrifice himself and that’s why he didn’t fight back as q!ElQuackity ignored q!Max in favor of trying to kill him - maybe it was because he physically couldn’t defend himself. Maybe he was too injured, maybe there was blood in his eyes and he couldn’t see. Maybe he couldn’t hear past the ringing of his ears and couldn’t think past the spinning of his head. Maybe it was all he could do to stumble backwards away from q!ElQuackity (which he does if you watch his POV - he stands there stunned in the aftermath and then turns just in time to see q!ElQuackity slam into him).

Maybe it was all he could do to just blindly call out to q!Max for help and hope he heard it.

WELL @l0vegl0wsinthedark I LOVE YOU TOO!! SO THERE!! And to show it, I wrote you this, because after the giddy little giggle I did at reading this ask, I got an idea.

Draco bursts through the door to their flat, making Harry startle where he sits on the couch. He’s about to ask Draco why the hell he’s nearly blown their door off the hinges when he sees the wild look in his boyfriend’s eyes.

Harry raises his eyebrows. “Wha—”

“You,” Draco growls.

Harry sputters. “What did I do!?”

Draco glares at him and slams the door behind him. “You!” He points an accusatory finger at Harry. “I love you!! And it’s all your fault!!”

Harry blinks, his mouth agape, processing. “I—you love me? And you’re angry about it?”

Draco crosses his arms. “Well it is rather inconvenient. It’s entirely distracting throughout the day, even when we’re apart! It inhibits my productivity, Potter! I think about you and your stupid smile and your stupid eyes and your stupid laugh and the stupid way you make me feel—” Draco glares at him again. “And it’s bloody ridiculous!! Because all I want to do is spend every day with you, and care for you, and keep you safe! And just love you!!”

Harry’s so caught off guard, so stunned at this ridiculous, infuriatingly adorable man, that he can’t help the shocked laugh he lets out. When he sees Draco’s eyes flash, he quickly gets up, moving to stand in front of him.

“Well guess what??”

“What?”

“I love you too!!”

“Oh really?” Draco scoffs.

“Yes! I do! It’s all-consuming!” Harry lets his voice rise to Draco’s level. “You’re one of the best things to ever happen to me! I’ve fallen head over heels for you! I love your wit! And your generosity! And how bloody gorgeous you are—it should be illegal!!”

“Well! Then I guess we love each other!” Draco huffs.

“I guess we do!” Harry retorts.

“I love you!”

“I love you more!”

“I love you most!”

“I love you most-est!”

“Oh yeah!?”

“Yeah!”

“Then prove it, Potter!”

Harry strides across the room—and proves it.
