People on Tik Tok, Standard to form, Are being dumb about characters, and they’ve gotten their claws into Kaos so I’m here to rant about why they’re wrong so I don’t blow up in somebody’s comments.

Riddy is not an evil person for not loving Orpheus anymore. She doesn’t owe him love because he loves her, that’s not how it’s supposed to work. She was right to break up with him.

She wasn’t happy. And no one should stay in a relationship that makes them as miserable as she was. And this isn’t against Orpheus either. I adore him too, and I think I’m the long run this is better for him as well. But I think the notion that he’s too good for her or that she doesn’t deserve him is just so weird. They just weren’t right for each other. And that happens! They could have been right for each other in the beginning, but as you grow you change, it just happens.

It’s not her fault he decided to go down to the underworld. That is a decision he made on his own. And sure, she should have talked to him when she had the chance before she died, but that’s a hard discussion to have. She’s not perfect, but neither is he. He took her coin, which in the long run is a good thing, but without the context of the rest of the show, it’s a really shit thing to do. They’re both in the wrong, and they both aren’t evil. Because they’re human. ITS PART OF THE POINT OF THE SHOW!!!!

I love them both very much, and I love Riddy and Caeneus, and I hope Orpheus finds a new muse, one who can flourish more under his love.

This could be complete rambling but I HATE seeing this idea that someone leaving a relationship because they aren’t happy is evil. It’s such a red flag 😭

Anyway, angsty hc time cuz I've been too sappy as of recent!!

Rocket has really bad attachment issues, and he hates being vulnerable, he's horrified of looking "weak", especially to Zuka or Sword, due to being scared they'll abandon him.

He's horrified to lose his house, he's scared to lose his father, he's scared of losing his friends, he's scared of losing the person he loves. Sword and Zuka have told him it's not wrong for him to cry but Rocket is too stubborn to allow himself to be vulnerable.

While he doesn't do this anymore, when Rocket was younger he used to have difficulty sleeping when Sword slept over. This stems from when he was homeless in Playground. Rocket couldn't ever sleep properly due to the possibility that some thug he beat up might just murder him while he sleeps.

As he grew older, he started being able to sleep properly during sleepovers.

Rocket also ugly cries whenever he feels he's "allowed" to cry.

I wanna write fics with these HCs so bad, Teen Rocket is one of my fav characters, I want more angsty stuff with him.

some convos have lead me to get emotional about joel farabee so. enjoy. under read more because i may have went a little overboard idk you can judge that

i regularly think about his house, about how he lets (encourages) the young guys to stay with him, how he doesn’t want guys to have to stay at the hotel. how his first thought when he moved in and realized how much space he had was to fill it with teammates. he’s in philly in the offseason to train, and he’s making sure the guys staying with him train as well, but also they’re all having their fun at the same time. he practically adopted foery as his little brother, let’s foery drag him around philly all summer, keeping the kid entertained!!! even when guys aren’t living with him, he encourages them to stay at his place after going out. he cares so much about this team!!!! about his teammates!!! our love for the team does not compare to his love for the team!!

i genuinely think that sometime in the near future he will have a letter, idk if it’s going to be an A or a C (i’m super bias and want to see him with the C in the future) but i know he’s leadership potential. and it’s not just off ice, he’s talented as hell! he wouldn’t have made it to the nhl if he wasn’t good, but i don’t even think it’s me being bias when i say he’s one of our top guys. and he also defends guys on the ice when needed! he’s not one of our main fighters, but he’s gets scrappy when needed, one of those times being in january to defend york.

and he genuinely seems so fun to be around!! and so nice!! when i met him in october, it was like a 2 minute interaction and only a few words were exchanged, but listen he fucking gentle toned me. i almost died. he’s just a silly guy!! he’s just a dude!! and he’s our silly dude!!!!
