In my AU, Hashtag becomes curious about Megatron's history after meeting Starscream. It's obvious in the show that the kids and Terrans are pretty ignorant about the War and especially the ex warlord's past. Considering that the show wanted to be IDW-lite with some G1 sprinkled in, Megatron's hatred for organics is still a thing in my AU (except it's cooled to distaste in the present). Hashtag finding this out leads to the Terrans learning that yes, past Megatron would've reacted very similar or much worse than Shockwave did after learning they're part organic.
