#lamine yamal#sure someone’s already shared this but help 💀#just rest him for the game man let him do his homework 😭#euro 2024#spain nt#I’ve actually looked more into this and it is a real law albeit unlikely to be enforced and €30k is a pittance in international football#just funny that if he plays it IS technically against German child Labour laws#but then again so was his debut for Barcelona’s 1st team when he was 15 so ! carries.#<- not to be misconstrued as being a hater I’m being tongue in cheek#wish all the best to him he’s a great young talent etc etc but yeah. I cant imagine new people joining the fandom now that tsc is out and imagine people being able to read all five aftg books at the same time??? They will never get the feeling of finishing the third book and thinking it’s the final final and then discovering there’s the EC (that doesn’t exist anymore rip) and then Nora disappearing for years and suddenly back with news of a new book of a couple that was so good the author came back to make them canon and then us just waiting for news and everything and I’m so glad to be here when history was made and to experience everything I wouldn’t have it any other way

I caved and made them real. Obverse me losing more and more motivation to draw as I made each of these back to back lol
#keese draws#oc art#oc#pmd#pokemon#pokemon mystery dungeon#pmd oc#these guys are inspired by my usual pokerogue team#oh also imagine a question mark after every he/him I have the trans woman beam pointed at all of them#these are just initial concepts for the actual characters themselves now that I’ve developed the world a lil bit#but yeah these 4 were childhood friends who wanted to be in an exploration team together but had to split up for years#tart and quart both had to move away and cart ended up leaving his hometown to try and become a real adventure a few months later#cart and bart remained in contact for a few years before cart got caught up in some crime circles#he was incredibly trusting when he was younger so he got taken advantage of and ended up digging himself a deeper hole in an attempt to be#manipulative back and eventually he got scared enough that he tried to reach out to a guild and acted as a spy for them in turn for them#eventually helping to clear his name and allowing him membership#there were parts of the deal that were unfair and kind of shady but he was desperate enough to pretend he didn’t notice#after he joined he started immediately putting out listings for new team members and he fully planned on being super picky#but when two of his childhood friends applied he was over the moon about it#and immediately accepted both of them#now quart also applied because he had recently ran away from his old life and was desperate to have a new one#and he missed his old friends deeply so when he saw one of them actually managed to start building the team they all wanted to make he was#quick to apply even if he was rusty as hell on normal non contest combat#cart didn’t recognize him at first and mostly only let him have a trial run because he thought it was funny that an eevee of all things was#applying for a high level exploration team and he fully planned on telling quart off immediately afterwards#this ofc made quart very upset and angry but he didn’t try to clairify who he was because he just assumed that time had made cart into an#asshole which isn’t wrong per say but quart didn’t realize cart didn’t recognize him#it was a rough trial expedition but cart found himself actually quite impressed with quart’s slight of paw skills and his impressive biting#speed so he decided to give quart a real chance instead of a mocking one#eventually quart laughs for the first time around him and that makes cart realize who he is and that makes him feel horrible

#IDK WHY LIKE. i know what happens but THERES SO MANY MOMENTS THAT JUST MAKE ME SO SAD#a tumblr post will never be enough for me to express everything I want to say but like#idk I’m obviously biased but it’s been thirty years can we stop no nuance observing alain prost circa 1988-89 itgfjfkfkfjd#like i think definitely if nothing else we should look at some of his off track behaviour#as a reflection of some of the stuff he went thru when he was in Renault ya know#even he wouldn’t say he did everything perfectly n that he’s faultless so I won’t#but it does annoy me that even 30 years later people still act like ayrton was perfectly reasonable and shouldn’t be blamed for any of it#because oh so n so reason from off track or whatever#and then can’t see that like….the very same reasons can apply to many of prost’s actions too#ANYWAYS apart from that (how sad it is making me for alain and how much he went through) I am rlly enjoying it#it’s very beautifully done and although it is obviously biased / there’s a few things I wish they dug into more so far#I don’t rlly mind especially since from one angle it’s like I’ve seen sm stuff biased towards ayrton atp on that especially#that having this be kinda alains biased version doesn’t bother me since it feels like it’s just making it more level#also:#alain prost i love you 🥰🥰🥰#just because it’s making me feel even more strongly on that front#probably missed a million things I want to say but 🤷♀️#alain prost#f1#prost documentary

So really bad news, my (well, mostly my dad’s and his partner’s) cat Bubby who some of you may know from way back when I used to post photos of him passed away today. He was the cat that healed me a lot from a life long fear that I had of cats and was overall just a great little dude and I’m gonna miss him a whole hell of a lot 💖
#I don’t even know what to tag this honestly#tw pet death#he was diagnosed with leukemia last year#and we all knew this was coming and in the last few months he’s been doing so badly#finally caught up with him but he fought it until the end#I saw him last week and told him he’s the best cat I’ve ever known so he knew at the end and he passed with my dad petting him#anyway I’m gonna miss him

i want to be more open to anything and everything and i’m scared
#i’ve just felt at a sort of breaking point for a few weeks#and it’s really hard it’s about a lot of stuff that feels hard to fully articulate#& i don’t really feel like i can talk to anyone fully about it because it’s hard#to describe the extent of constant grief & also like. neurotocisms that have woven their way into my understanding of like#*neuroticisms#my own fate fundamentally yknow#there have been many moments of beauty and stuff i feel my hand is still in the weave sometimes#but i really need some things to feel different and be different#i have lost so much and so many people the last few years and literally ALL of my relationships have changed#and i feel like i’m really searching for sometning that i lost#and i have been missing my mom#i lack any sense of deep comfort in my life and i want to just feel held and understood even for a moment#and i don’t feel like i have anyone to point me in a direction that i agree with it’s hard to know what to want and how to want it

But it’s gonna happen anyway so I might as well look forward to it#I can’t let myself worry about where I’ll end up and who I’ll be when I’m older#But I do need to keep looking forward#I also chose it cause of deep cut. Like that was a big factor in my choice#Their music shaped my tastes. I just love it so much#And sure the characters themselves aren’t as fleshed out as the other idols#But they still mean a lot to me as splatoon 3 is the game that got me into the franchise#Even though I played 2 before 3 could never fully enjoy it as I came too late#I missed every splatfest cause I got it a year before splat3#So I could never connect the way I did to 3#Hearing anarchy rainbow for the first time changed me man. I fell in love instantly. It just means so much.#As an autistic person I actually surprisingly don’t really stim that much. But hearing anarchy rainbow just… flipped a switch.#I couldn’t stop moving. Literally like DJ Octavio man. It was a crazy experience to just feel like I had to move.#to walk around or something. To wave and flap my arms. Copy their dances. It sounds a little weird and childish when it’s written down#But it’s true. Splatoon’s music showed me that my autistic stimming was something I should embrace.

After an obscene amount of ordering, getting that ordere cancelled, ordering again, getting that package delivered to the wrong city, arguing with FedEx, arguing with Target, ordering AGAIN, and having a four week delay -
I finally got Danny Phantom A Glitch in Time!!
I’m not the best at reviewing things, but my most important thoughts are below the cut:
- I love when Danny discovers Dan (called Phantom, but he’s Dan) is loose, you can see the distress on his face in every panel. He’s not smiling, he’s pulling into himself, the stress lines are literally on his face.
- Vlad! Vlad! Vlad!
- Jazz’s magical girl transformation *chef’s kiss*
- Vlad is an unapologetic bitch, and he completely owns it.
- Dan’s design while he has Clockwork absorbed is FIRE! I love it!!
- Can I just say that I adore how much Danny CARES about everyone? He offers to help Dan, to give him a home, before they fight. He wants to give Dan a place to belong.
- Vlad’s redemption felt so natural and so right. He’s been through so much, he’s done everything in his power to get what he wants. And now he knows that, yeah, that’s not how it works. (But he has a child now, so I’m stoked for that arc) (Will Dani come back for the next issue? What will she think of Dan? I NEED sibling rivalry with those two)
- The Disasteroid is both canon and not canon now. Time travel fuckery for the win!
Was the months of fighting with various customer services worth it? 10000000% yes
Do I hope the next issue gets an in store release to I can just go grab one at Barnes & Noble? Please, god.
