𝓧iao was seen as a "violent emo boy" around campus. Not many approached him for his intimidating looks and cold personality, glaring at anyone who even bats an eye at him, like a threat to end them if they continue to stare longer... He was mostly calm, but could get a bit violent. He saw others as worthless insects that do nothing but get in his way. If someone were to accidently bump into Xiao, he would glare at them intensely, like he would murder them. Though his views changed when he met... you.

𝓨ou were a new exchange student, coming to this school from your old one after an incident, causing your parents to take you out from that school permanently. You were just like him... cold and reserved, but not violent. You were defensive of yourself, only resorting to violence if you feel you are in true danger, which a few bullies nearly got sent to the hospital after daring to pull out a knife on you. You folded them like paper, as if they were a mere fly in your hand, you crushed them. You also weren't an idiot. Your grades were amazing, from what Xiao had heard. Despite your coldness, you still offered help to others, and you were kind. All the other students liked you.

𝓣his could be considered love at first sight for Xiao, as soon as he laid eyes on you the first time, he felt like you were the piece of the puzzle he was missing. He felt more... complete. You had everything Xiao could ever want in a person. You were smart, kind and brave. He wanted to approach you... but how could he? He was far to nervous and anxious to even get even a centimeter closer to you. For a while, he stuck to watching you from afar. Every time he saw your face, his heart skipped beats. No doubt he was in love. It was the first time he felt like this, he never fell in love before seeing you. Heh, to think his first love was someone who was the same as him... but at the same time, completely different... It was funny.

𝓔very now and then, you'd notice Xiao staring at you, hiding behind corners or doors, whenever you did, he always seemed to have a slightly red face, and if he noticed you staring back, he'd put on a cold expression again and look away. You knew about Xiao from others, but what you were seeing wasn't what they told you, saying he was extremely violent and would beat you up on sight. To you, he just seemed shy... You always wondered why he was watching you like that, and to be honest, you got more curious about him the more you caught him staring, the urge to approach him growing stronger. Eventually, you started trying to do so. He seemed a bit nervous when you first did so, jumping a bit when you came behind him, and said 'hi'. The people around you during the time of this interaction were worried for your safety when they saw you around Xiao, but were shocked to see Xiao didn't seem to be... violent or angry with you. He just... spoke to you with such... nervousness. He had a completely normal conversation with you, besides his stuttering. They immediately thought you used some kind of magic to turn Xiao into such a... nervous wreck. He seemed so warm towards you, and so shy... it was shocking for anyone, really. He always stuttered or spoke really quickly to you, his face just remaining so red... you almost thought he was having a fever or something, when in reality, he was just worried that if he spoke to you for too long, he may just blurt out the words "I love you!" randomly at you, because that's what he really wants to say to you. He wants to tell you all his affections and feelings for you... but he can never get the courage to do so yet. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hey guess what? CLIFFHANGER HAHAHAHAHA

what does it mean to treat yourself like your favorite doll? PAMPER yourself, treat urself sweetly and preciously and your body and mind and soul will thank you tenfold. every investment that u put into urself whether its mental or physical will give you the highest ROI then anything else can because its YOU.

IN TOUCH WITH GIRLINESS ;

im rly in touch with my girliness when im practicing self care or doing something creative (like girlblogging for example) to me, femininity is expression and creativity and energy and beauty so anything that resonates with those four words is enriching my own girliness.

pampering and self care time every single day is a MUST

dancing or stretching

most tension for girls at least, is stored in ur hips, so whenever ur doing stretches or when u dance, i like to focus on my hips movements so that then i can release tension and let energy flow. doing so helps me to feel super in touch with my girliness and my femininity in general, so things like belly dancing and yoga.

manis/pedis WEEKLY or every two weeks, u dont have to get them professionally done if u dont want to, but mainly focus on being well kept and well groomed and moisturized.

making sure my hair looks pretty and to my liking

being EXTRA during shower time ; using high quality and sweet smelling products, using body oils and body butters and lotions. taking bubble baths and using fancy bath milks and bubble bath.

you can glamorize even the simplest of tasks by being super girly. here are some examples of incorporating girliness into mundane tasks. girliness is lots of ROMANTICIZATION

studying -> using cute stationary (mine are predominantly pink) decorated notes, cute study playlist (i listen to subliminals) keep an adorable space to study and wear a cute outfit

being sweet and gentle with everyone (including urself) is SUCH a girly move and it makes u so pleasant and doll-like. theres no need to be nasty for no reason, cuz thats not hot. so mind ur p's and q's. say thank you, articulate ur feelings and ur thoughts. also, me saying making an effort to be nice is girly code does NOT mean that if someone is coming at u some kind of way that u shouldn't stand up for urself bcuz u absolutely should, but rly emphasize grace.

lately ive been focusing on the void and waking up there every morning, because with school i cant rlly actively attempt to go there awake anymore. just during the weekends. so here's everything i do, not only void related but also jst shifting and manifesting wise.

ᡣ𐭩ྀིྀི goals : shift in seconds, enter the void every time i wake up, have the 3d bend to my will more easily

. ݁₊ ⊹ morning: i get ready for school, as painful as it is. this is when i like to remind myself of stuff the most, like how i shift in seconds and stuff. i usually have something in the background like a show or subliminals depending on how i feel. in the shower is where i start visualising my dr a lot. random thought but this is literally my last year of school in this reality and i swear im feeling smth 😭

. ݁₊ ⊹ school: on my way i daydream a lot. i daydream hours per day and its not rlly something i can control BUT i have been trying to lately, and have it 50/50 like daydreaming half the way and affirming the second half or daydreaming on the bus and affirming when i walk. during class, if the teachers allow it i put on calm songs that i'd put in the innerspace and visualise myself studying there. during launch i listen to stuff for the void :P whenever i find myself bored at school with a notebook laying around i write down my robotic affirmations.

. ݁₊ ⊹ afternoon: i put on void affirmations (no music) because i automatically repeat them when i hear them :D and i add a morphic field with that. its usually layered (field in one tab and affirmations in the other) but i also like to listen to the field after the affirmations. usually the field triggers physical symptoms like motion sickness, slight headache, shivers/goosebumps and stuff so i dont like listening to it more than 3 times. then i take a break and do whatever. at some point ill put on my void playlist and lay on my bed and affirm. if i finished school hyper early or its the weekend i do enter the void awake! but i like waking up in it better.

. ݁₊ ⊹ night: i put on a shifting reprogramming sub! to remind myself that i shift effortlessly and in seconds. at first id listen to any subliminal so i could give my subconscious the "choice" of either waking up in my dr or in the void, but i narrowed it to changing my shifting mindset while i focus on the void. i check the formula to make sure they dont include immediate shifts/waking up there 😾

. ݁₊ ⊹ manifestation: this is something i do throughout the day without much thought, its been a week and a half honestly and im already used to it. like, first of all every time someone pisses me off i try to not let it get to me and i instantly tell myself, "It's 3D stuff, it won't matter for too long." and since i talk to myself a lot about shifting, i have the occasion to persist! so to remind myself "Only my 4D matters, I'm already in the innerspace, I already shift whenever i want" blablabla. i also have a vision board

I've been having a blast with the A+tM project, don't get me wrong, but I've also been wondering why I'm so hyper-fixated on it and it finally hit me the other night...

It's something of a love letter to my late dad, and definitely dedicated to him.

My dad was a member of several heavy metal bands before I was born, and there's an unconfirmed rumor that he was offered a spot in Pantera but turned it down becuase my mom was pregnant.

All throughout my life he and I bonded heavily over music, and I'm very proudly essentially his little clone haha. My favorite bands growing up were Disturbed (still #1), Linkin Park, Evanescence, Trapt, Tool, Soundgarden, etc, and it was all because of my bond with my dad.

We went to see Disturbed live in 2009 and had an absolute blast. In 2016 I won tickets to Coachella and invited my parents, and while it wasn't my dad's usual genre of music, he diligently studied the playlist I made him and was pleasantly surprised by how much of the music he loved, and broadened his music horizons from then on. (: (He loved Joywave, Major Lazer, Silversun Pickups, Of Monsters & Men, & Ellie Goulding from that trip). He passed suddenly and unexpectedly last October (9 days before my wedding...), but not long before that I'd turned him on to Sleep Token, and for weeks before he passed it was all he talked about, to me and anyone else who would listen. So last month my husband and I took a trip to Sonic Temple fest in Columbus, to get the best bang for our buck and see not only Sleep Token and Disturbed, but a lot of the other bands dad and I bonded over. It was extremely difficult to be in those crowds and not have him with me, or at the very least not be able to send him pics and video of his favorite songs. But it was rewarding in its own way, to know that I do know which songs were his favorite, and that he was so willing to share that part of himself with me.

Today is extremely difficult, but I know he's with me.

Hello friend! I knew of a few off the top of my head, and went searching for some more. Many of these soundtracks are playlists of already-created songs, hosted on streaming apps like Spotify, but a few are designed specifically for a certain roleplaying game. Either way I hope you find something up your alley!

Orbital Blues, by Soul Muppet Games. (Soundtrack)

It is an intergalactic age of cowboys, outlaws and bandits playing on an interstellar stage. It is a time of hyper-capitalism and a cut-throat gig economy. Unreliable trash-heaps carry scrappy underdogs to their next gig, and corporation freighters lumber across the horizon laden with an empire’s bounty.

These are the music-fuelled, moon-age daydreams of a rebel space age. 

These are your ORBITAL BLUES.

Games inspired by tv shows and movies have a great starting point in finding music that really fits the tone - you can start with the soundtrack of the things that inspired you. But Chris Bissette was not happy to simply show you the soundtracks for Cowboy Bebop and Firefly and call it a day. They created a custom album to play alongside the game that’s a little soulful, and a little rock n’ roll. A soulful space-western kind of game lends itself really well to music to evoke melancholy and loss, so I definitely recommend listening to some of this if you want to play Orbital Blues or any other game inspired by the same sorts of media.

The Wildsea, by Felix Isaacs, and Songs of the Lignin Tide, by Liam Peregrine Vaughan.

Your character is a wildsailor, part of a crew cutting their way across the island-studded wilderness of the treetop sea on a vessel of your very own. You’ll clash with survivor cultures and wild beasts, scavenge and salvage for wreckage and trade-goods, chase rumours, and uncover secrets. The focus of this game is on exploration, progress, and change - you’ll define the world of the Wildsea as you sail it.

I’ve talked about The Wildsea extensively in the past, so I’m just going to talk a little bit about Songs of the Lignin Tide. The Wildsea community is dedicated, inspired, and creative, and that leads to some amazing work created by players, for other players. Songs of the Lignin Tide is one of those examples. It uses a wealth of different sounds to add richness and texture to this unique and verdant setting, and it feels like the creator drew heavily from their own experiences of playing the game. I highly recommend you check it out if you want more Wildsea in your life.

Quietus, by Sinister Beard Games. (Spotify Playlist)

QUIETUS is a one shot, prep-less RPG of melancholy horror. It’s a game for a GM and one or two players, and emulates tragic horror movies like Oculus, The Strangers, The Babadook, Inside and the Netflix version of The Haunting of Hill House. If a piece of fiction can make you cry and scream, then it’s a great model for the sort of stories that you can tell with QUIETUS.

The music for Quietus is also a Spotify playlist, with a collection of songs that fit the tone of a tragic horror game. It’s an hour and forty-three minutes long, and since Quietus is meant to be a one-shot, I have a feeling you might have to play through it more than once, or let Spotify generate similar songs after the playlist finishes up.

GoblinMixtape’s Soundtracks, by Sam Leigh.

While creating a soundtrack on your own might be a daunting task, using established songs to fit the vibe of your ttrpg is much easier, and GoblinMixtape (aka Sam Leigh) has connected many designers to playlists designed to emulate the feeling of their games. There’s quite a few playlists already created by them, so I’d recommend checking out this list of playlists if you want to see the games she’s worked on before.

1. Why do you like or dislike this character?

I love that the hero of the story is a hyper whiny loser who just can't get it together until the last twenty minutes, and even then "getting it together" is killing his ex-boyfriend and quitting his job – all the things that make him suck also make him so fun.

Also I'll be honest with you, the first time I saw the show just the real CM's delivery of "are you ready to share that with the world?" took me out because of the unspoken "because I'm not". It's the whole flipped circumstances, right? The whole narrative says Curt is reckless and Owen is careful but in the end, when it really mattered, Owen was reckless and Curt didn't give them up for anything! The tint of him being a gay man during the Lavender Scare and the way that colors his relationship to secrets and what he stands for as a person despite the goofy campiness of the musical is just like, ugh, chef's kiss!

6. What's something you have in common with this character?

I always joke the reason I'd be a terrible spy are all the reasons he is too - we're both very loud and fidgety and being bored feels like someone is peeling your skin off.

21. If you're a fic writer and have written for this character, what's your favorite thing to do when you're writing for this character? What's something you don't like?

Like, my favorite thing to do as a writer or to do in the story? Writing-wise, I tend to listen to a lot of The Mountain Goats and also a Curtwen playlist I will post one of these days. Stay away from whiskey love and stay away from men!

Storywise, I love putting him in situations where he has to be real, despite his emotional constipation, because Owen certainly isn't going to be! And I think he knows on some level they're doomed so he has to try because he doesn't quit easy!

cassia is one of those ocs where the music i find for her playlist is almost all vibes and not really based on lyrics. it's the energy of the music, the way it makes you wanna move or bob or sing along. that being said: "rage" by hyper crush and "joyride" by kesha immediately make me think of her. lyrically, "i love it" by icona pop might be a good fit.

8) what hobbies does your oc have? what do they do to unwind?

cassia's major hobby is rollerskating! but she's also super into street art, and she enjoys beautifying her favorite areas of new york in a manner of silly or meaningful ways. when she's at home, she also enjoys random doodling--mostly ideas for graffiti or future street art--learning dances from her favorite music videos, and playing a variety of video games.

11) what was your inspiration for your oc?

i distinctly remember driving to my local movie trading company to see if they had any physical dvds for tmnt'03, and "girlfriend" by avril lavigne came on spotify shuffle. for whatever reason, i got the image of a pink-haired girl in rollerskates, and she wouldn't leave my head. cassia's my first tmnt oc, and i think she was always meant to be kind of like april in that she's a grounding presence in their otherwise chaotic lives. despite how high-energy and mischievous she is, she's extremely stable and does regularly go to therapy, which has made her more thoughtful and aware of others along with herself. her biggest conflicts come from being an out trans-girl in the 90s and early 2000s, but none of it is tied to her immediate family (her parents ADORE her). she is, for the most part, about as ''''average'''' a civilian in the tmnt'03 world as you can get. i dunno! i think i kind of just wanted to give them all another anchor of sorts, another safe haven. cassia's parents, oliver and esme, also become guardian figures to the turtles in a sense (especially mikey). esme loves to mother them.

1) does your oc have a voice claim, if so who?

god yes. nyx's voice claim is shohreh aghdashloo. the moment i heard her as enforcer grayson in arcane, i pointed at the screen and muttered: "you". as someone who's very picky about these sorts of things i seriously feel like it was gift-wrapped to me. >xD shohreh also provides the voice for the dragon in damsel, which is a dumb as hell movie but i will continue to listen to it for the sake of hearing her talk.

6) if your oc is in a fantasy setting, what profession would they be in the modern day?

kind of a weird question, since 'modern day' implies that this is more a difference in time period? e-e;; i imagine she'd likely still have assassin roots, but. after the rebellion succeeds, the republic begins to rebuild, and the games are disbanded, nyxram takes it upon herself to use her family's "estate" as a sanctuary for the animals used in the games, since most of them can't be returned to their natural habitats due to injuries and/or being raised in captivity. so! i think a potential "modern day" or "human" profession for her might be owning and managing something like an old friends senior dogs sanctuary. providing housing, love, and comfort for older animals when most folks want younger pets, and ensuring that their last few years are happy and safe. she's taken so much life, so... it feels like giving back, in a way.

11) what was your inspiration for your oc?

@/plantdonut doesn't live with me (alas), but if she did, i would have turned to her during our '03 rewatch a few years ago and asked, bluntly, "why do all the triceratons gotta be dudes? where're my giant, amazon warrior dinosaurs?". and within a few days, i was practicing my hand at drawing triceratons, so i could make it so. my two major points of inspiration for nyx come from cassandra cain (2nd batgirl, pre-new52) and john wick. cassandra for being... basically born and bred to be the perfect assassin, only to have 'too much' compassion and love and guilt and go hero instead, and john wick for being a 'baba yaga' to anyone who knows his name. not the boogeyman, but the one you send to kill the boogeyman. the idea of a triceraton assassin was very cool to me, given that they're often a straight-forward, loud, and blunt force to face with little concern for being subtle. it also draws an interesting connection to her and the turtles; at some point nyx comments that despite their practice being tied to assassins such as herself, any blood on their hands comes from self-defense. in some ways, she envies them. but in many more, she doesn't. she's the sole survivor of her clutch, and the only one of her siblings to 'earn' a name. she was, in a way, a political move--a gift/tool offered to the prime leader to ensure that her parents had a connection to power and could continue their own work with protection from punishment. ...they just didn't expect for her to want something else. since the triceratons seem to have a handful of 'nods' and aesthetics pointing toward the roman empire, i named nyxram after the greek goddess 'nyx', the personification and substance of night. i also specifically use greek spelling with her, whereas her parents will have roman spelling of their names to further emphasize her 'otherness' from triceraton society as a whole.

It's been 3 months since you got loaned to City. You and Alessia have been messaging each-other ever since the night you both reconnected. You haven't had a lot of time to take her out for dates, you only managed to take her out for the one official date since you had your night together. You took her out to an arcade and made it your mission to win her something. You not only surprised her but you surprised yourself by winning her 4 toys from the claw machines! You still hung out on nights where you could but with your conflicting schedules it was still difficult.

You received a call from Jonatan to recall you back to Barca for the final match of the season as Alexia had gotten injured. It was very last minute but unfortunately your contract stated that you could be recalled at anytime with no notice. You were booked on a plane to leave 6 hours later so you panic messaged everyone letting them know your loan spell was up. Alessia was in an absolute state at the news, just when she thought you guys were close again, you'd already been snatched away from her. She spent that evening crying on Ella whilst you were flying out to Barcelona. Your new/former housemates were also absolutely gutted at the news of your departure. Your words to them as you left them at the airport were "I'll be back before you know it, I promise” and Lauren trusted you on this, you've never broke a promise.

You arrive at the airport in Barcelona with an injured Alexia on her crutches and a very hyper Mapi helping her.

“Y/N we missed you so much!” Mapi gives you a massive hug and squeezes you to the point you feel as if you can’t breathe. Alexia gives you a gentle hug but leans on you a little for support.

“ACL huh?” You sigh and give Alexia a sad smile, she doesn’t quite meet your eyes when she confirms it’s her ACL. You grab her hand and give it a gentle squeeze.

“You’ve got this, if anyone can bounce back from an ACL injury it’s Alexia fucking Putellas!” You say as you all slowly leave the airport and go to Mapi’s car.

Match day comes around, and you’ve had a week or so to get back into the Barcelona groove. Your contract is up with Barcelona in a month, and you’ve already had your contract agreement settled for the future, you’ve just gotta wait for the media team to officially announce it at the end of the season.

You didn’t wanna say to the team about how you missed your teammates in Manchester as you were worried they’d be offended. You always felt somewhat dismissed in Barcelona, a bench warmer and a super-sub. You were shocked to hear you were called back in the first place as they surely would’ve wanted to sign someone else on, but you also felt excited to be back at the same time, you’ve missed Barcelona with your team.

You’ve been constantly calling and messaging Alessia since the day you left and you already can feel that you miss her. You regret not asking her to be officially your girlfriend whilst you were there as you don’t want it to be a case of asking her over a video call or a meet up for a day whilst you have a trip there.

You’re sat in the locker room taking in your surroundings, making sure you can remember this day vividly, as who wouldn’t want to remember a match that they’re in the starting 11 against Real Madrid. You’re watching your teammates dancing around and singing whilst you have your headphones in, listening to a playlist that the England girls have been listening to pre and post match. Your music quietens as you receive a text.

Good luck today! I can’t wait to watch you win!

You grin as you receive the message from Alessia and quickly send her back a thank you. You normally did a pre-match call to help not be so anxious for a match but you can only assume that due to the distance it may not be easy to call.

“What, or should I say who, has got you all smiley?” Ingrid nudges your shoulder. Ingrid took you under her wing when you started at Barcelona and she was one of the main few that you missed the most in Manchester.

“Just uh, this girl I’m talking to” You blush thinking about Alessia.

“Oh shit! You have a girlfriend? You go to Manchester for like 3 months and have already found a girlfriend? Nice one Y/N!” Ingrid cheers.

“Oh we aren’t together, just an old friend, another player, who I’ve reconnected with, nothing official” You say back, packing your headphones away and start getting ready to head out the room.

“If she’s got you smiling like that, you need to ask the girl out!” Mapi interjects. Alexia hobbles into the room in a leather coat and jeans to help give the team a pre-match pep talk and give the captain armband out. She gives her speech and walks over to you.

“Today Y/NN is going to be the captain! Her contract with us is nearly up and hopefully this helps secure a longer future here with us in Barcelona! Just know you’re appreciated by us and we all love you” Alexia cheers whilst the team huddle around you. You already know the outcome of your contract agreement and grin at Alexia’s little compliment to you.

The match starts without a hitch, fairly dirty game from the Madrid side but the Barcelona girls somewhat keep their cool. Half-time comes around and its 1-1, with Claudia Pina scoring an absolute belter of a goal to equalise. You give the team a big talk at half-time which gives the team an enormous boost to morale. You’ve already won the league and the team have already had the cup and party but this would mean that they went the whole season unbeaten, which has never been done in the history of the team.

85 minutes in. The score is 2-1 to Madrid. The girls are making more poor decisions with tackles, Mapi and Ingrid both receiving a yellow. However, you manage to make a sprint towards goal before your legs get swooped out by another pair of legs from behind you. Instantly the ref blows her whistle whilst angrily pointing to the penalty spot, the crowd is roaring with excitement at this whilst the ref shows a yellow card to the Madrid player, followed by a red quickly after. She protests before stomping off the pitch. Mapi goes up to take the penalty and nails it into the top right corner whilst the goalkeeper dives the other way. You run up to her and lift her whilst both yelling as other teammates join the huddle.

“Lets show them why we’ve already won this fucking league!” You yell to your team.

90 minutes have passed. 2 minutes of extra time. Both teams have been fighting hard, one to go unbeaten and the other team pushing hard to beat their rivals unbeaten streak.

Mapi sends you over a perfectly timed cross whilst you’re closing in on the goalkeeper. You pass it to your right to Claudia who runs it out slightly to help free up some space in the box, a Madrid player knocks the ball out of play, resulting in a corner for Barcelona.

Mapi steps up to take the corner as you all get in position in the box, she sends it soaring over to you so you jump and header it as best as you can. You thump to the ground and hear the stadium erupt, you jump back onto your feet and kick the ball back into the net in celebration. The final whistle is blown and your team instantly run to you and lift you up, playing at Camp Nou is always special but today felt different. You’re taking it all in as your team are underneath you celebrating loudly.

After all the celebrating you eventually head back to your hotel and start packing your stuff ready for when you next need to travel.

You hear your phone chiming on the bed to see Alessia’s name, requesting a video call.

“You are absolutely insane scoring a header like that!” She says instantly, you can hear Tooney in the background chanting your name.

“I take it you watched the game then?” You giggle.

“Of course I did, I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. Sadly I didn’t have a Barcelona shirt to wear at home whilst supporting you but I’m sure I can always steal one from you next time we meet up!” She says smiling at you through the screen.

“I’ll get one from my next match for you, if you’re extra nice I can even sign it for you!” You giggle, earning an eye roll from her.

“I really miss you Y/N. Like a lot” She sighs.

“I know Lessi, I miss you loads. I’ll be visiting soon though, not quite sure when but I promise it’ll be soon!” You smile back at her.

You carry on talking for what feels like hours before heading off to sleep ready for the next few days.

You’re sat with Lauren Hemp at a Man United v Liverpool match at the front row of the Manchester supporters section. You’re wearing a lovely red ‘Russo’ shirt as you lost a bet with Lauren the previous night on how long it’d take you to mention Alessia. Lauren keeps mentioning how she feels like she’s sinning sitting in a United supporters area. Underneath her hoodie she is wearing her City shirt so she feels ever so slightly less disgusted. You laugh at your friend's antics but nevertheless, she sticks it out with you to watch your girlfriend but not girlfriend play.

As the match wraps up between the two sides ending in a 6-0 win to United the teams make their way around the stadium chatting with fans and taking photos. Eventually a few come your way, catching Tooney’s eye.

“Lessi, there’s someone wearing your shirt there, go chat with them” She says casually, nudging her best mate in your direction.

“I was hoping to get my Russo shirt signed if you wouldn’t mind? I’m a massive fan. I’m so glad to hear you’re staying in Manchester for another 2 years” You smirk. Alessia is yanking you over the barriers and onto the pitch with her.

“I’ve missed you so much, you have no idea” She says squeezing you tight.

“I missed you too gorgeous, carry on with your fans. I’ll meet you as you leave, I can give you guys a lift?” You say with her nodding back.

Alessia and Ella meet you and Lauren outside the stadium as you offer to give them a lift home rather than get on a team coach back to manchester that takes a lot longer than a car. You all chat amongst yourselves and sing along with the radio.

You drop Tooney and Alessia off first. Lauren smacks your shoulder.

“Mate invite her over, the spare room is still only for you until you go wherever you go! Just keep the noise down yeah?”Lauren chuckles. You quickly jump out the car and grab Alessia. “Can I help you?” She chuckles looking at you.

“Uh so I’m staying at Laurens for the next few nights whilst I’m here, and was wondering if you wanted to stay over?” You say nervously. “I’d love to, let me just go drop off my stuff and I’ll be back!” Alessia runs into the house to drop off her stuff and grab some clothes for tomorrow.

“Bye Ella! I’m going for a sleepover!” She yells as she leaves the front door, whilst she can hear Ella yell something about protection.

You, Alessia, Lauren and Leila are all sprawled out over the sofa’s in the living room after eating your bodyweight in fast food. You hear a few yawns from the group and Lauren stands up.

“We are all clearly knackered, bed time!” She says, clapping at you all. You all get out of your seats and Lauren begins pushing you all towards the stairs.

Once Alessia gets settled in your temporary room she leans into you and kisses you gently, but that gentle kiss keeps escalating until the both of you have to break apart in order to breathe.

“You have no idea how hot it was to see you in a United jersey with my name on it” She says leaning in for yet another passionate kiss.

“Well you have no idea how hot it was to see you tackling people and getting angry at the ref” You say back. “Well the ref was being stupid, I still can’t believe he-” You break her complaining with a kiss, she straddles your lap and starts taking your shirt off.

“God I’ve missed you” She says whilst attacking your neck

The rest of the night continues as you’d expect. By that, you didn’t really sleep a lot. After all you did have a lot of catching up to do with Alessia.

You wake up the following morning to your phone ringing, you quickly grab it and answer.

“Yes I’d love to! Thank you so much, I’ll be there as soon as possible” You say trying not to scream with excitement, Alessia has woken up and looks as confused as ever.

“What was that about?” She asks you, prodding your side.

“Oh nothing, you’ll find out soon!” You smirk at her “That reminds me, can I take you somewhere today? A surprise date if you will”.

“I’d love that, we do need to make up for all the video calls whilst you’re visiting!” She smiles at you “Where are we going?”

“About that, it’s going to be a surprise” You grin with Alessia looking at you confused.

After a short drive with Alessia complaining about being blindfolded and the odd "This is a bit kinky" comment you eventually arrive at the date destination.

“Ta da!” You say as you remove Alessia’s blindfold. She winces at the light and looks out the window.

“Very funny Y/N, you know I will always be a United fan and you cant convert me!” She says sighing at the view of the Etihad Stadium in front of you.

“Oh well I guess you wouldn’t wanna go in for a tour with me then!” You smirk, she sighs and gives in. You’re both greeted at the door by some staff who guide you back outside, where Gareth Taylor is waiting whilst admiring the stadium.

“Hey Gareth!” You say as you shake his hand, he shakes Alessia’s hand and greets her too.

“You ready to see it?” He asks you whilst patting your shoulder, and you nod excitedly in response. Alessia is looking between the two of you, confused at what is going on, whilst you’re looking at a big display that is blank, until it’s finally on display. He pats you on the back and walks back into the stadium whilst yelling a “See you at training!” in your direction.

“Welcome Y/N Y/LN!” is written on the display with a photo of you in your City kit on the display with “2025” written underneath too.

“Wait, is this what I think it is?” Alessia squeals whilst hugging you tightly “You’re coming back?”

“I am, and there’s no chance of Barcelona stealing me this time” You squeeze her back.

“I can’t believe it, this is the best day ever!” She starts tearing up on your shoulder, you kiss her face repeatedly and can’t wipe the smile from your face. Your phone starts buzzing with notifications, which means the whole world know that you’re officially signed at City.

“I love you Alessia” You blurt out whilst hugging her, she pulls back to look into your eyes.

“I love you too Y/N, more than you’ll ever know” she presses a gentle kiss to your lips whilst smiling into it.

“I guess this makes us girlfriends now?” You ask her.

“You haven’t even asked!” She jokes, pretending to be offended.

“Oh I’m sorry! Alessia Mia Teresa Russo, will you be my girlfriend?” You say bowing slightly to her and extending a hand out to her whilst laughing.

“You’re so dumb” She giggles and takes your hand “But yes, of course I’d love that” She kisses you again, this was by far the happiest day of your whole life so far, but you knew it would be overtaken in the future, as long as Alessia was part of it.

•Bubbles and Croz both share a deep rooted love for Fall Out Boy, especially early day fob. Bubbles would actually die for Infinity on High or From Under the Corktree.

•Everett’s favorite song is Monster by Kanye West with Roman Holiday by Nicki Minaj coming in at a close second. (Roman Holiday is John’s favorite Nicki song too)

•Dougie is in a similar music boat to Everett and John. They’re the Nicki Minaj/Ice Spice/Pinkpanthress girls. He would listen to Kanye West, let’s be real. He listens to SOME country music like Luke Bryant, Shania Twain, and a lot of fiddle playing country. He did grow up on a ranch after all..

•Brady is a Swiftie through and through. But Daddy I Love Him is his favorite song, although before ttpd came out it was either This Love or Getaway Car. He fought tooth and nail to get tickets to both night one AND two for Denver. He made him and Ham outfits for the show. Night one, they both dress up as Speak Now. (Ham is purely being dragged along for this.) night two, they did Midnight.

•Ham has an interesting music taste to say the least…he likes Suicide Boys, Travis Scott, Lil Uzi, Bones. I could go on for Ham, eventually I will make him a playlist!

•Rosie listens to a lot of big band/jazz music. He just really likes the saxophone. If you get into Rosie’s car it’s all going to be organized big band or jazz playing. Benny starts doing karaoke to it, he picks lyrics from a song that sound similar, they don’t and sings.

•Ken listens to a lot of everything, his favorites are Mac Miller, Deftones, and One Direction. Currently one of Ken’s favorite songs though has to be One Of Your Girls by Troye Sivan.

•Curt likes loves Ghost and no one likes Ghost the way Curt likes Ghost. Especially as he gets older he’s more and more into Ghost. His favorite song by them is Rats.

•other than, Ghost Curt also listens to a lot of Mac Miller, Blackbear, Deftones, and whatever John’s hyper fixated on at the moment.

what does it mean to treat yourself like your favorite doll? PAMPER yourself, treat urself sweetly and preciously and your body and mind and soul will thank you tenfold. every investment that u put into urself whether its mental or physical will give you the highest ROI then anything else can because its YOU.

im rly in touch with my girliness when im practicing self care or doing something creative (like girlblogging for example) to me, femininity is expression and creativity and energy and beauty so anything that resonates with those four words is enriching my own girliness.

most tension for girls at least, is stored in ur hips, so whenever ur doing stretches or when u dance, i like to focus on my hips movements so that then i can release tension and let energy flow. doing so helps me to feel super in touch with my girliness and my femininity in general, so things like belly dancing and yoga.

manis/pedis WEEKLY or every two weeks, u dont have to get them professionally done if u dont want to, but mainly focus on being well kept and well groomed and moisturized.

making sure my hair looks pretty and to my liking

being EXTRA during shower time ; using high quality and sweet smelling products, using body oils and body butters and lotions. taking bubble baths and using fancy bath milks and bubble bath.

you can glamorize even the simplest of tasks by being super girly. here are some examples of incorporating girliness into mundane tasks. girliness is lots of ROMANTICIZATION

studying -> using cute stationary (mine are predominantly pink) decorated notes, cute study playlist (i listen to subliminals) keep an adorable space to study and wear a cute outfit

being sweet and gentle with everyone (including urself) is SUCH a girly move and it makes u so pleasant and doll-like. theres no need to be nasty for no reason, cuz thats not hot. so mind ur p's and q's. say thank you, articulate ur feelings and ur thoughts. also, me saying making an effort to be nice is girly code does NOT mean that if someone is coming at u some kind of way that u shouldn't stand up for urself bcuz u absolutely should, but rly emphasize grace.

🍜• Shiho is definitely a tsundere. It’ll take a while for her to properly open up in a relationship.

🍜• Like Ichika, Shiho would take you to Leo/need practices with her. She doesn’t mind the compliments you give her, but much prefers when you criticise her playing. It helps her get better! She’ll let you have a go at playing her bass every now and then and she’ll try her best at teaching you how to play. Even though she doesn’t show it much, she’s so proud when you manage to play what she’s been teaching you correctly!

🍜• She doesn’t seem like a physical touch person, but the longer you’re in a relationship together, the more you realise she’s just shy about it. PDA definitely isn’t her thing, but she doesn’t mind cuddling up in private from time to time. ( even if she does go red as a tomato from as little as holding her hand! )

🍜• She’ll take you out to ramen places every now and then. It’s nice, even though most of the time is spent with her analysing the ramen!

🍜• If you were ever in a boring class together, Shiho would offer you an earbud so you two could listen to music together! She has the perfect playlist prepared full of songs that are great for listening to during classes you’d rather not be in!

🍜• Shiho may not be the most affectionate in a relationship, but she shows her affection in other ways. To her, actions speak louder than words. you can see how much she loves you through everything she does for you!

i NEED to ramble about the ‘tiktok brainlets sayinf goth/punk aren’t music based subcultures’ topic from @dreamspring ‘s post because it is ITCHING my autistic little brain

they want to be part of the ‘aesthetic’ without doing any of the actual work (ie. listening to music they don’t like) or understanding where it came from. these mfs do NOT know that Crass refused to sell their records for profit and have NOT listened to a second of bela lugosi’s dead. they’re just stuck in this infuriating little trend cycle that consists of black clothes and shein chokers.

the POINT of these genres is that they aren’t intended to be digestible. they aren’t supposed to fit into a box. late stage capitalism is suppressing the meaning of subculture while churning out endless piles of consumerist junk for people to buy to call themselves alternative. you could argue that this all started during the ‘2020 tiktok alt’ phase where people started wearing demonias and listening to 100gecs. this aesthetic didn’t exist outside of the internet- it had no grounding in real life.

i’m not gonna say that the tiktok alt bunny hat demonia monster energy 100gecs bollocks is cringe because sometimes when you’re a teenager (particularly a queer one) you go through weird phases. it happens to the best of us. but what i WILL say is it sparked so much debate about ‘what counts as alt’ from bunny hats to lace code ??? (yeah ppl liked to bring that one up as some kind of gotcha or i-know-more-than-you thing).

the difference here is that goth and punk ARE and WERE real life. they started as subsections of society with attitudes, clothes, ways of living, and MUSIC. the music and clothes are expressions of attitudes and they’re too connected to separate.

it’s like this weird chicken and egg situation for them when in reality they should just get a grip and TRY listening to some of the music. TRY going to a show or doing a bit of DIY. it’s more than just a little sticker you can put on your lil peep spotify playlist.

and at the end of the day, you don’t HAVE to be a punk or a goth to have left wing views!! it’s fine if you aren’t! and you can try different things out and maybe … learn something new … outside of the tiktok hyper consumerist bubble! what!!! no way!!! it’s almost like the app is designed to monopolise your time and thoughts and categorise everything into neat little sellable aesthetics !!!

it’s all just so WANK how these ppl are afraid they might overstep or do something wrong or somehow appropriate something. if this is the case for you then KILL THE POSER IN YOUR MIND.

in conclusion: if you can’t at least TRY a LITTLE BIT to explore a subculture style in a way you’re able to (outside of the tiktok comment section) then PISS OFF you little poser. xxx

22. Do you listen to music during your writing process? What music do you listen to while you’re writing?

I listen to music basically every minute of the day unless, like, I'm in a Zoom or the TV's on or something (or, like now, I'm watching hockey). I don't have a specific writing playlist, though—I'll listen to whichever of my batshit hyper-specific playlists I'm currently vibing with. 'Soft boys who could get it' gets a lot of play, as does 'Tay-Tay Bay-Bay' and 'Queercore', though if I'm writing PWP I'll often throw on either 'Songs to bang to' or 'In my slut era'.

47. What fanfic of yours is truly underrated?

Can I just say WLW/gen and leave it at that? 🤣

The RWRB bukkake fic is, like, mid-range for kudos but super super low on comments compared to my other RWRB works, and also has the highest percentage of private bookmarks, so I don't know if it's underrated or if people just don't want to publicly admit to rating it lmao. It's right up there with my favourite RWRB fics I've written, though.

48. What is your favorite sentence that you’ve used in a fanfic?

As always, I've never had a favourite in my life. That said, if we're going for sentences not paragraphs, "I am not seething," Alex seethes made me laugh pretty hard when I was writing it.

49. Where do you draw inspiration from?

Oh, lord. Other media? Conversations with fandom buddies? My own chaotic life? Tumblr posts? Just like... everything. Anything can be a fanfic if you're obsessed enough.
