“what do you want to be when you grow up?” sitting across from shizun at dusk, listening to him speak and paying such close attention to the movement of his mouth, the wind’s gentle jostling of his hair, and the almost-imperceptible shifting of his weight every so often, while i stare adoringly and with open affection at him. between us, food and drink, and shizun’s fan discarded so that he can use both hands to gesture as he continues to regale me with stories and anecdotes and lessons i’ve already heard but never tire of. behind us no history, before us no future, only the comforting weight of the moment. i forget myself and drink too much, and he lets me rest my head on his lap. he doesn’t stop speaking, knowing i’ll sulk if he does, but instead lowers his voice, trying to trick me into resting. i allow myself to fall asleep not because i’m tired but because it’s the only thing i can think to do with shizun’s hand warm against my forehead and his scent so close.
or maybe a doctor i don’t fucking know. what are you a cop
#shizun#shizunloving tips#insomnia + yearning + encouragment to be as self inserty as id like are like. doing things#and now i bless u with this. i think this scenario would fix all of us#if i dont see this when i fall asleep im going to be deeply disappointed

came up with a...not-quite AU, maybe more of a spinoff for SVSSS...
Bingge, after being rejected by SQQ, decides to head off and find his own Shizun! He appears in a modern city and finds a man stumbling about who bears a striking resemblence to his shizun!
Surprise, he's discovered a drunk Shen Tianyu! Older brother of one Shen Yuan, whose life basically went downhill after the abrupt and unexpected death of his younger brother a few years earlier.
Although the Shen family excelled at business and encouraged all ambitions towards it, including excessive hours, they were generally pretty tight-knit....Shen Tianyu, however, had become a bit distant from his siblings and his baby brother's death brought the reality of how much he'd become disconnected from his family crashing down on him. He lashed out at work, got divorced from his wife, lost his reputation, was suspended from his high-paying job for an undetermined time, and now goes out drinking probably way too frequently.
AND THIS is the Shen Tianyu that Bingge has discovered wandering around late at night. Whatever shizun he thought he was going to find, a drunken depressed alcoholic divorcee isn't it. Shen Tianyu delved into his brother's accounts and read PIDW (actually he's kinda fond of the story in his own way) and assumes he HAS to be hallucinating when Luo Binghe suddenly appears in front of him one night while he's stumbling home drunk after being cut off by a concerned bartender. He's tickled that Binghe is seemingly real and solid and when he hugs Binghe the man doesn't push him away or anything. If anything, Luo Binghe looks sad about the whole thing. He looks at Shen Tianyu the way a lot of people do lately....like he used to be this great thing and he's just a huge disappointment now. (in fairness, Tianyu is pretty sure this is all true, he just doesn't like people looking at him like it is) Bingge holds Tianyu gently and immediately decides he can't leave him alone like this. "Why not? I'm usually alone like this."
Shen Tianyu awakens in the morning to find himself neatly tucked into bed with his hair neatly brushed and pyjamas properly on his body instead of half-naked and hungover on the living room floor with his hair in a tangled mess like usual. And there's the smell of food cooking???? Luo Binghe is in his kitchen, cooking him breakfast. LUO BINGHE IS IN HIS KITCHEN COOKING HIM BREAKFAST. "Am I still hung over?"
"I'm sure you wish you were, but no." Bingge explains briefly that he came here to try to find his own shizun, and he found Tianyu. Shen Tianyu can only jokingly respond that if he wanted a sad pathetic long-haired man in green to take care of, he definitely found it but otherwise- "you're not pathetic, Shen Tianyu." Tianyu slams x to doubt. "Okay, fine-you're very pathetic. Perhaps one of the most pathetic men i have ever witnessed." ("i read your story, you encounter quite a lot of pathetic men-i'll take this as a compliment." "plz don't, it's not")
Bingge came to this modern world looking for a kind shizun who cared for him the way SQQ did for the other him. Shen Tianyu isn't that shizun. He is kind, in his own way, but not quite in the way he'd hoped. And he knows Luo Binghe's full story but still treats him like a person. Not even a scary person, or a deadly person....just....a person. And under the trauma and depression, he finds an intelligent ambitious man with close family ties and a dark sense of humor. He just...needs to be watched closely and made to take his meds and forced to limit his drinking more.
Other trivia:
-From oldest to youngest, the Shen kids are Shen Hanjun, Shen Tianyu, Shen Yuan, and Shen Miaoyu (the only daughter, their parents' pride and joy)
-Business majors, all of them. Well, except Shen Yuan-he put off applying to college, swearing he'd get to it sooner or later, and then he abruptly died at 24 without ever getting around to it.
-Shen Tianyu was married to a rather particular woman by the name of Bai Lianhua, something he now believes is a huge joke considering what a shrew she turned out to be at the end. (when he had a breakdown over his brother's death, his wife was upset he paid less attention to her, his "real family")
-Shen Tianyu actually has a young son by the name of Shen Jiuyuan, currently age 7. When he was born Tianyu told his wife having 'yu' in the name was a family tradition, and it IS...but that's not why he added 'yuan' onto the initially proposed name of Jiu. He lost a bet to Shen Yuan, and had to name his first son after his brother. (he won't tell even Bingge what bet exactly he lost to his brother, just that it was embarrassing).
-Shen Tianyu has a childhood friend/enemy by the name of Shang Qingshui. When they were young they were close, but they've always teased each other the whole time. (Hanju, for one, hasn't always been convinced they're really friends, since Qingshui seems to be strangely antagonistic to everyone he knows, and Tianyu just seems to be the first/only to put up with it with any great measure of humor)
Fun fact: Shang Qingshui turns out to be the OG Shang Qinghua, having been forced out of his own body when Airplane was transmigrated into the role. He thought it was curious that the only person who could put up with him had the same family name as the Peak Lord from his original home plane, but he never gave it much thought. Then Tianyu finally returned to work with his new boyfriend in tow and it's GODDAMN LUO BINGHE. HOW. He thought he was done with that man when he got transmigrated out of the world where he existed but now he's HERE. He's supposed to be a fictional character here?!
I haven't decided yet if Shang Qingshui is genuinely related to Airplane, but it'd be funny if they were cousins or something and he was just that one insufferable cousin to Airplane that his parents tried to force him to hang out with sometimes bc Qingshui seems to actually have his shit together. (or in other words he has a business degree and an office job with a good paycheck) "but mom he's an ASSHOLE" "he's an asshole with a regular job and good education, why don't you take after him more"
-Bingge starts out just trying to take care of Shen Tianyu bc good GOD the man is a mess. At one point he was probably a well-groomed neat businessman...when Bingge arrives his hair is past his shoulders and he rarely wears anything more complicated than sweats on a regular basis unless his bar of choice has a dress code. It's months before he recalls his original plan to try to find his own shizun and seduce him.
Then Tianyu flirts first. Bingge doesn't know how to respond.
-Bingge manages in the modern world more easily than even he predicted. Most things are labelled, and the internet? So useful. Once Tianyu gets him a phone, he can look up anything he doesn't already know. Personally Tianyu isn't surprised-he read PIDW, Luo Binghe can do anything he needs to, right? Figuring out basic internet and appliance usage is simple even for regular people, let alone the protagonist of a stallion novel.
-Bingge does end up reading PIDW, at his own insistence. If it's the story he's the main character of in this world, he should know what went into it. Tianyu is so reluctant to show it to him, he's actually a little disappointed. He can't call it a work of art, and he finds the writing awkward to read as the subject of the whole damn thing, but he really thought it was going to be much worse. But Tianyu seems to like it...so he supposes he won't insist on getting rid of it.

Return Part II
Might Guy x Reader
This is the second part to Return, where reader comes home and Guy tries to summon the courage to tell her his feelings.
Warnings: Sexual themes, alcohol usage, a smidge angst
Word Count: 1938
unedited
...
The harsh fluorescent lights of the bathroom coupled by walking made you realize that you were definitely passed tipsy. While you washed your hands you studied your reflection, noticing the flush of your cheeks. You smiled at yourself, it was a good look on you.
You steadied yourself and headed back to your groups table. You noticed that Anko and Shizune had pulled up chairs to join the fray. You smiled, glad they had decided to come.
“Y/n!” Anko waved at you, beaming. “It’s been awhile,”
“Sure has,” Kurenai and Asuma moved for you to climb back in. “How have you been, Anko?”
You slid in next to Guy who was about to take what looked like his sixth shot. Kakashi held his glass up to you when he saw you looking with a grin, to which you giggled. He was definitely feeling it.
“I’ve been pretty good, nothing I can’t handle.” Anko stretched exaggeratedly.
Guy pressed his thigh back against yours and a jolt of electricity passed between you two. You saw his fingers twitch where they sat at the table, and wondered if he felt it too.
Guy put his arm around your shoulders as a waiter started passing the table. “Sir, can we get three more shots please!”
“Guy, I don’t know about that,” Kakashi said, but the waiter was already back to the bar.
Guy looked down at you, not missing the look Kurenai gave him when they made brief eye contact. He grinned, showing his pretty white teeth. He seemed to lose track of his thought when he made eye contact with you. “So,”
You waited a moment for him to continue, a blush forming on your face as he just continued to stare. You grinned when he didn’t say anything else.
“So?” You prompted.
He blinked. Thankfully, the waiter was back with his order. “So, uh, are you ready for your first shot?”
It was your turn to blink. “Uhm, what?”
He chuckled. “Who did you think the third shot was for?”
You could feel the weight of his muscular arm still draped over your shoulders. There was fire where his bare arm touched your neck. It had never felt that way before. You certainly would have remembered that if it did.
“I don’t know, I’m feeling pretty good from my drinks,”
“Nonsense!” He pushed the shot into your hand.
He looked between you and Kakashi, all three of you held your glasses up. “Bottoms up!”
Guy wasn’t purposefully trying to get you drunk. However, he realized his mistake when you were three shots in and you slid your hand onto his thigh while you were talking to Genma and Anko. It made him freeze. Even being intoxicated himself, he was painfully aware of every move you made. The more you drank, the happier and flirtier you got. With everyone. It was making his stomach do backflips every time you said something suggestive. He was also put off a little by the fact that so far, you hadn’t flirted a bit with him.
Your hand had him feeling butterflies. You seemed to notice him stilling, too, because when there was a lull in your conversation, you smiled coyly at him. You tilted your head up and beckoned him to your level. He did so obediently and you tilted your head up so that your lips grazed his ear. Shivers ran down his spine and heat pooled between his legs.
“Something wrong?” You whispered.
“N-nothing,” He stuttered, pulling away. He gave you a weak thumbs up. Kakashi, who was watching, felt a small burst of panic. If you kept this up, Guy would take you home and what happened next wouldn’t have anything to do with feelings. Or, you would get his hopes up and go home with someone else, since it seemed you were getting particularly frisky. He didn’t want his best friend getting hurt.
“Guy,” He called across the table.
Guy snapped his head towards him. “What can I do for you, Kakashi?”
He gestured with his thumb towards the bar. “Come with me for a minute.”
Guy nodded. He tried his best to subtly readjust himself before making everyone scoot so he could follow Kakashi. “Be right back,” He said to no one in particular.
You watched them head to the bar, wondering what was up with them but your thoughts were quickly intercepted by Anko.
“Hey, Y/n, you want another round?” She gave you a mischievous smile.
You held up your hand. “Thanks, but I’m good. I know you guys are all attractive, but you’re looking extra good after those shots.”
Anko pouted playfully at you.
“Don’t worry Anko, you’re the best looking one.” You winked.
She licked her lips. You wondered if she may have taken you seriously. Then you wondered if that would really be a problem with you. Before you could contemplate further, your favorite boys were back at the table.
You felt a little woozy as you moved for Guy to sit back down, so you made a decision that would change the rest of your life.
“Hey, I think I’m gonna step out and get some fresh air,” You told whoever was listening when you got up.
“Let me accompany you!” Guy nearly shouted. “I could also you some refreshing air,”
You giggled. His cheeks were red and he was unsteady on his feet.
“I think you may need more than a little fresh air,” Asuma sniggered.
Guy didn’t hear him, or if he did, he ignored it. You lead the way out of the busy bar, hardly hearing whatever Guy was rambling about behind you. The cool air was welcoming on your warm skin.
You leaned against the building and took a deep breath. It was lovely out. You let your eyes flutter closed, but popped open quickly.
“I didn’t think I was that drunk,” you muttered to yourself. You made a note to drink some water so the swirling behind your eyes would ease up by the time you went to bed. You both stood in silence for a few moments, just enjoying the weather and each other’s company.
“Y/n?” Guy asked, leaning in next to you.
“Hm?” You turned your head to meet his teary gaze.
“I missed you,”
Your stomach flipped, and you felt a lump trying to form in your throat. You were suddenly overwhelmed with emotion. The loneliness of those two years, the longing for home, and the years and years of yearning for Guy to be yours crashed over you in a tidal wave.
Your eyes welled with tears, but never broke contact with his. “Gods,”
“I missed you too,”
Guy pulled you into a hug, completely enveloping you in his warmth. A few tears escaped you, but you didn’t mind. You secretly wiped them on Guy’s t-shirt, but it not-so-secretly made you giggle.
He pulled away and smiled at you. Not in the overpowering way he usually did, but so tenderly it left you flabbergasted. “Let’s take a walk,”
He held a hand on your lower back as you walked. You told yourself it was to steady you, not believing he could truly have another cause. You were feeling raw, unsteady, lonely; even with his presence. You had a thought that it was probably the liquor that had changed your demeanor so suddenly, but couldn’t summon the power to change it.
“I’ve felt so alone these last two years,” You finally uttered.
Guy listened silently. “I don’t know how many times I wanted to just pack my bag and come home. Tell the Hokage to send someone else out there.”
You took a deep breath. “I tried to make some friends, but they were shallow. How could I connect with people when I’m not who I say I am?”
The tears were leaking now. Guy rubbed your back. His heart ached for you. “Every night I lied awake, wondering what you and Kakashi were doing, if you were happy - if you were even still alive.”
“I hate that about being a shinobi. My best friends could die at any time and I wouldn’t be sent a word about it... I know you’re capable, but I lived with that fear for two whole years. I couldn’t even send you a letter to let you know I was okay! Even when my parents died, I didn’t feel that alone. You and Kashi made sure of that,”
Guy looked at you solemnly. “I wish I could have been there for you, in any way. I’m so sorry, Y/n,”
You wiped your tears. “It’s not your fault,”
A colder sort of breeze rose up around you, making you shiver. Guy put his arm over your shoulders, pulling you into his side. He was heartbroken for you, and wished more than ever to tell you that he loved you, but he knew this was not the time.
He spotted his apartment building not too far up ahead. He gazed at your form, your hunched shoulders and tears still escaping on your red cheeks.
“Hey,” He paused. “My apartment is just up ahead. Do you want to go up and have a glass of water?”
You gave him a watery smile and nodded. “Okay,” he murmured.
You made your way upstairs and inside and were happily greeted by warmth. He turned the lights on and walked swiftly to the kitchen. You followed him and leaned against the counter as he poured you a glass of water. His heart was full seeing you in his home again. You looked so natural here.
He handed it to you and hovered in front of you as you took a sip. As soon as it touched your lips your body thanked you. You sighed. “Oh, thanks for taking care of my apartment, by the way,”
Guy chuckled. He placed a gentle kiss on your forehead. “Of course, anytime.”
You looked up at him with surprise. He hoped that wasn’t too forward. Nervousness started to creep up and his cheeks and ears began turning red. Maybe that was the wrong thing to do, he thought.
You had a burst of courage as you watched him turn red. Your cheeks don’t turn that color if you’re just being friendly, you thought.
You pushed forward on your toes and met his lips in a chaste kiss. Guy’s mouth was agape, his heart leapt into his throat. Were you.. did you? Do you love me too?
He leaned in, hopeful that your soft lips would meet his in another kiss. You followed his movements, meeting his lips and leading him into a deeper kiss than before. Your lips moved together with hesitance for only a moment, before you were pulling each other in.
Guy pulled away gasping, his eyes shining. “I love you,” And then again, louder this time, “I love you, I have for so long,” He smiled, happy to get it off his chest. His heart beat wildly as he awaited your reaction.
You laughed, relief and joy filling your chest. “I think I’ve loved you longer,”
Guy lifted you onto the counter. You leaned in again, kissing each other heatedly. The next time you pulled away, Guy pointed his finger at your chest. “Is that a challenge?!”
“No!” You laughed.
“I think it is!” he pressed his lips to yours before you had a chance to argue.
(I know no smut, but it took a sweeter turn than I had meant it. I thought it was fitting for Guy to want to take care of you though! He would be an excellent partner in that aspect.)

[og!LBH wants shizun for himself too]
Bing2Qiu | Scum Villain Self-Saving System 08-07-2021
What if once lbg (bingge) goes back to his original world he just... doesn't want to stay there. Yes, he has many wives, has all the power and gold he might want, but he doesn't have /him/.
Why couldn't his shizun be like /him/.
So he goes back to this weird alternate universe but hides instead to see what he could do to snatch this sqq. He hides his presence and tries to look for anything that could allow him to take him.
but it is really hard to do when this fake lbh is always around him.
But this observation also made him realise just how different this sqq was from his own shizun. everything from how he act around lbm (bingmei) and the other disciple, the way he talks, moves. Some of it is really similar, yet different too, while other parts were just flat-out different. He seemed more gentle and loving and he wanted /that/. This isn't what he knows and he wished he had received that.
of course, despite doing his best to hide, he couldn't really escape lbm notice, but sqq managed to convince him to not do anything about him.
"If he wanted to do anything to us, he would have done it immediately" he was not 100% confident about this statement, but he was indeed curious as to what lbg wanted to do. Was he back for revenge? Was he here to do him harm? Maybe he was back simply because he was also curious?
It was easy to put his arrival to the back of his mind since lbg didn't make any trouble, he was just... somewhere there.
Then one-day lbm had some trouble taking care of in the demon realm and he was anxiously straightening sqq robes. "Everything will be alright binghe, shizun is not in danger and you will be back by tomorrow anyway"
He was certain that if lbg wanted to hurt him, he would have done so already.
So now he was alone in his bamboo house, drinking his tea.
When he was sure lbm wasn't lingering around anymore he set his cup down.
"You can come out now" He simply said, looking back to the door when he heard steps.
He offered a small smile to the demon lord, pouring another cup of tea for him.
"Why don't you join me?" he offered.
It took a moment as if lbg was a bit confused by his way of acting. Why was he so calm and nice after what had happened? But he did walk to the table, sitting opposite to sqq.
It was a bit weird, than to sit and drink tea with "his" shizun the way he never did in the past (he had it poured on him instead).
"So... why did you come back?" sqq finally asked, not running around the bush, this is what he wanted to know. lbg doesn't answer right away, looking at him. He wasn't exactly sure. He really wanted to take him back home, but what if... this sqq hated it? And became sad and unable to love anymore if he takes him away from this lbh? He can clearly see how happy sqq is with this other lbh. He can see how, despite showing some annoyance and strictness sometimes, this sqq always smiles and looks in love when he looks at his husband.
Would he also look at him the same way if he were to take him back home?
"Did you want to take revenge for what happened last time?" sqq finally asked?
"No!" lbg quickly replied, before catching himself to keep his usual composure.
He did think about it, but this wasn't it, he wanted to take him back with him, not hurt him.
"I want to take you back" he finally said, now more sure in what he really wanted to do.
"What if I say no?" sqq asked, drinking some more tea.
He felt too calm himself, knowing that he could very well do it if he wanted to. "You can try, but I know my binghe won't let it happen so easily and will do anything to get me back" he pointed out.
lbg was a bit struck by how sqq referred to lbm. /his/. Couldn't /he/ be his too? sqq looked at him a bit more. He was so similar to lbm, yet there were differences aside from the scares, he simply needed to look closer.
"Why don't we talk a bit for now and see what I can do later?" he suggested.
and sqq did just that, talking more about it, about anything coming to mind. How thing were doing here, how well the peak was doing, what kind of problem he gets into sometimes.
He also asked about how thing were doing for lbg. After all, the novel was not going over everything all the time. lbg was also rather intrigued by how sqq simply seems to just... know so much about his life when he never meet him before that one incident. He did try to get answer out of him about it, but would only get brushed off about it being a lucky guess sqq clearly knowing more than he would let him believe.
They were surprised when lbm came back, lbg keeping his calm despite being ready to fight, having understood this lbh was ready to do anything for his shizun.
lbm mood immediately darkens, hand reaching for his sword "What is he doing here?" he asked.
sqq simply got up, joining him to pull him into his arm, patting his head to calm him down. "Don't be angry, shizun invited him for tea so we could talk".
lbm did look betrayed by his shizun when he heard that, but was quickly comforted with a kiss. "Nothing happened, we simply talked for a while, he isn't here to do anything bad... theoretically".
The end made lbm frown, pulling sqq closer in his arm, glaring at lbg.
"Why is he here?"
"To take him back with me"
sqq had to pat lbm arms to make him release his hold a bit, not wanting to die suffocated. "He won't do it" he reassured, "I decided he could live with us for a while as we think about this situation".
both binghe looked surprised, as sqq had only now decided this. lbm was about to argue, but sqq kissed him quickly, stopping him. "It will be alright" he whispered to him, "He won't do anything," he said, giving lbg a glance, the message clear to him.
lbm would follow his every instruction, but if he did anything, he wouldn't mind unleashing him.
And this is how lbg started officially living inside the bamboo house with them, instead of roaming in the shadow.
It was a bit awkward and both binghe would often get on each other's nerves, yet sqq always managed to calm them down. He was a bit amused by how lbm would try to egg lbg by being overly touchy with him, but he had to stop him so a battle wouldn't start (he would love for his house to keep standing in one piece).
with time lbg also tried being closer to sqq. He really wanted to force himself in sometimes but ended up always waiting for sqq to allow him. of course lbm wasn't too happy, but since sqq was the one saying so he tried letting it go (of course, he would be really needy and need lots of cuddles)
with the time sqq passed with lbg, he started understanding more why everyone seemed to love him so much too (which didn't stop his love for lbm either).
slowly lbg became a normal part of their routine and sqq really enjoyed it. It was a bit weird by time, when they would both battle about him, but it didn't change how he had still gotten attached to lbg.
clearly, the man had sometimes moments where he seemed to his original shizun in him, but he would always manage to calm him down and reassure him that no, he was not going to treat him badly, he is safe here with him.
Eventually, their disciples found out and were rather confused, yet seeing their shizun this calm about it did help a bit. But there came a time when it was to be decided what to do with lbg, could he really stay here.
"I think he should stay with us" sqq admitted to lbm once when they were having tea late in the evening a lbg trained with some disciple.
"Shizun will always love you" he said when he saw lbm about to argue, "But I think... lbg also needs to be correctly loved the way he is looking for" he commented.
He felt like maybe lbg wasn't fully gaining what he wanted with his many wives. otherwise, why would he have come back after what happened? sqq had read all the difficulties the original pidw lbh had gone through, he wanted for him to also be happy.
it was a bit hard for lbm to accept, but he could see how his shizun really wanted to do this and had also gotten attached to lbg. As much as he wanted to keep him all to himself, he didn't want for his husband to be sad.
He buried his face in his neck, hugging sqq close to him "shizun better not forget about me or I will push him away" he mumbled against his neck, making sqq chuckle, patting his head gently "Don't worry".
And this is how they ended up officially adding lbg to their relationship. It was a bit hard to explain to everyone who he was, but it went somewhat alright (some were still suspicious of him, since they alright weren't too good with lbm).
sqh nearly had an attack at hearing that his original son had also fallen for his cucumber bro, but happy that his second (?) son would also have a nice ending.
========
ngl I just wanted to have sqq loved by two binghe, more love for him ksjdbvhusbdf maybe I can write some steamy stuff when I come back from work

Royalty au- Sakura
Sakura is A commoner who bugs Kakashi for weeks until he agree’s to take her on as an apprentice.
She’s wants to be a strong, dedicated knight capable of protecting the king and knows there are few other’s in the kingdom she could learn from.
As Kakashi’s Squire, Sakura spends most of her time at the Hatake residence and in contact with Shizune who teaches her all about poisonous plants and how best to use them.
She doesn’t get to spend nearly as much time around the king and queen as she thought she would as Kakashi’s squire, but the time she does spend near them is always fabtastic because Queen Rin practiclly glues herself to Sakura’s side and talks to her about a variety if topics while shoving books in her hand to read when Kakashi’s not actively training her.
Because of these interactions she becomes a lot more educated than even the standard knight and earns herself the annoyance of other knights who believe she’s not fit to be a knight.
Coffee Shop Au - Rin
Rin is the one who always walks down the street to the coffee shop to get all of the doctor’s and nurses mid day coffee order.
Some of them like to joke she’s doing it to get a chance to chit chat with Kakashi, but those are only the people who don’t know she and Kakashi are old friends and she’s not going to flirt with him, but to bug him endlessly about his love life while he does the same to her.
Her main order is a coffee with two cream and two sugar, but once a week she lets Kakashi make her whatever drink he chooses for her to try. Usually his special drinks come with a terrible job (like ‘this coffee is about half as sweet as you’ which she always chucks at because he’s such a dork.
The coffee shop is also her favorite place to take Shizune on a quiet date. She loves getting a little cake pop, which is Shizune’s favorite treat but she won’t admit it’s her favorite treat.
Fantasy au- Tsunade
Tsunade as a forest spirit always intrigued me since she is Hashirama’s granddaughter.
I love the idea of her hanging around the forest begrudgingly healing people who have lost their way and fallen ill/injured themselves. She doesn’t have fun with it, but she still does it because she doesn’t want people dying in her forest.
It’s also how she meets the mortal Yua, who looks far too beautiful for Tsunade to believe she’s a simple mortal, and is somehow more courageous than half of the gods she knows. She watched this woman face down a beast three times her size without flinching, and win (though it was a very close call that left Yua with scars across her face)

Transmigration gone wrong- Congrats! "You're a Sword Harry! And a thumpin good in!"
When Shen Yuan died and transmigrated he figured that he would take the role of a human form...or human-ish?
So what pray tell was this!?
[Dear Host, Welcome to the world of Proud Immortal demon way! Shen Yuans Role bound to the legendary Heart Demon Sword Xin Mo, a success!]
Who in the what now!?
With a limited view range he realised he was in an abandoned ruins of a castle losley held in the grasp. Being Xin Mo wasn't what he thought it would be...why was it quiet?
[To Answer host! previous Xin Mo spirit has been put to rest, a restless warrior finally achieving peace! user awarded 100+ Points!]
Okay he was the new sword...so what he just waited for Luo Binghe?
Was there anything he could do as a sword before then? He didn't plan on being used as a aphrodiasic for Luo Binghe papa time. he did NOT want to see that, how awakward.
After looking at his abilities...which were mostly LOCKED without Luo Binghe there was too things he could use, his own demonic energy and astral projection...
Shen yuan transmigrated as xin Mo.
He can astral project from his body, he is to assist Luo bonghe and guide him to his real form.
But, whatever his user feels to determine what type of sword he’s be. Shen yuans transmigration was a clean slate. If he could pursue Luo bonghe not to persue the endless need for revenge. Something akin to a black hole never ending never satisfied the desire for lust- what would happen to him?
A drink never to quench that first a bottomless hole never filling.
Or justice to date his revenge, bonghe was a hero he saved people and he was good.
System pipes up [Good evening host! Mission: Reform and save protagonist Luo Binghe from further blackening!”
Affection points, sates xin mo’s lust!
Meaning?
Meaning protagonist has no need to duel cultivate! [it’s Binghe’s affection to Shen yuan, so in the beginning his resentment is too high, going to have to bring that down,]
Resentful points- [His need for revenge, distrust in others, heart demons, Luo Binghe plans to ditch Shen Yuan or kill him if he doesn’t prove useful. He calls Shen yuan Shizun mockingly until it starts to change, distrusts that Shen is wasting his time made to trap him in the abyss. After Binghe takes Xin Mo, he doesn’t see the Shen Yuan apparition disappear so without turning he slices open a rift and leaves.
Shen Yuan was too stunned, Luo Bonghe would’ve left him. Luo Binghe left Shen Yuan he took Xin Mo and left.
Shen Yuan felt his own resentment and scowled trying to rationalise but still felt adrift. He felt Luo Binghe collapse against a tree panting and slid down the bark he gazed at Xin Mo, his face a reflection in the cool obsidian blade.
Shen Yuan wished he could close his eyes, or look away. He was aware of the ticking timer raising resentment points and tried to calm himself down. There was no point wasting all of his effort grinding those Coolness points for nothing.]
I need them!?
To be compatible with protagonists demonic cultivation and to use perks of xin mo’s abilities.
Coolness points.
Just standard missions. [finding items, saving protagonist, helping him navigate the abyss and other missions after]
Revenge points. Reduce the revenge points before Luo binghe makes contact with xin Mo!
What but it is way over 50,000 the abyss may be huge but Luo Binghe’s soul reason for escaping his his revenge!
Reduce points to 10,000.
[Just giving the main protag therapy. Shen Yuan knew he couldn’t stop his emotions for revenge it was his main drive! He could divert it. Try to cut the collateral damage]
Also coolness and resentful points need to be balanced for Luo binghe to use spiritual and demonic to work in harmony.
…and if they weren’t?
Xin Mo will result in a backlash killing host and user in the process.
Shit! No pressure!
Once Shen Yuan decides he needs to find Luo Binghe and calm his raging bloodlust before he masters Xin Mo or Shen Yuan might cease to exist. That overwhelming hate- Shen Yuan wouldn't survive it.
So he finds Luo Binghe and decides to help him. After nursing him to health Shen Yuan gives himself a pat on the back. Job well done, healed the protagonist! He'd sure he'd earn his favour now!
After Binghe awakens he bows "Thanking Gege for saving this lowly one." Aw what a filial disciple! How can anyone be cruel to this cute kid, luckily for Shen Yuan he can help Binghe survive the abyss and once he figures out Luo Binghe was ready he'll guide him to Xin Mo.
Unaware that Luo Binghe had been betrayed by his Shizun, his contempt and resentment already boiling over.
He didn't trust this stranger, he assumed he wanted something. Already Luo Binghe decided to use this person then leave them to die once they're purpose has been fulfilled.
Once they go through the abyss, they stumble across a clan the others ignore Shen Yuan and he even lets Luo Binghe go to get new clothes and food from the demon sisters.
Luo Binghe didn't know why he thought Shen Yuan would leave him, or wondered why he looked uncomfortable once the girls took Binghe in. Once they left did Shen Yuan relax unaware of Luo Binghe watching his every move under scrutiny.
Luo Binghe realised immeditelty he needed this strange demon, when one moment they were walking across a strip of deserted terrain and the other suddenly stopped then began to run grabbing Binghe's arm.
Using his Qi he created a aclove in the ground and tossed Luo Binghe in it then dived in after as they peeked out from hole in the ground their heads covered and protected. Yet it was cramped.
Before Luo Binghe could even ask what was going on it began to rain.
He stared surprised, he outstretched his hand and a small dewdrop pierced the tip of his finger. Binghe yelped as his skin burned and bled.
Shen Yuan watched cooley. "I would suggest moving away from the edge." Stepping back in this cramped makeshift cave Luo Binghe stared as his finger healed with his heavenly demon blood.
He couldn't ditch this strange demon, he needed him to survive. And the Demon needed him for something. This alliance will have to last longer until he escapes the abyss.
...
Shen Yuan had finally done it, he watched as Luo Binghe ascended the broken steps his hands outreaching and grabbing the sword. Oh that was weird. It broke his concertration and his astral form snapped out of existence.
But as a sword he could feel and see Luo Binghe. He didn't turn around, he had no clue Shen Yuan was no longer there. Luo Binghe didn't turn around once, he slashed the sword and stepped through.
Leaving a hypothetical Shen Yuan behind.
Xin Mo, was flabbergasted.
Luo Binghe ditched him. Or would've luckily he was his freakin almighty powerful sword! Everything they went through in the abyss meant nothing!? Shen Yuan bemoaned his luck- of course he was a MAN, if he was a beautiful flower Luo Binghe would've brought him with him but NO~ This was sexist. He called Shen yuan Shizun mockingly in the abyss when Shen Yuan taught him everything he knew [which was just what Luo Binghe learned himself from plot but who cares about the details! Luo Binghe LEFT HIM]
Unless Luo Binghe decided their partnership was no longer beneficial to him, distrusts that Shen is wasting his time made to trap him in the abyss. After Binghe takes Xin Mo, he doesn’t see the Shen Yuan apparition disappear so without turning he slices open a rift and left.
There was no reason wasting all of his effort grinding those Coolness points for nothing.
But he was so mad, he understood now why Xin Mo hated it's wielders why it tormented their masters. He felt Luo Binghe stroke the swords hilt and Shen Yuan reframed from shivering.
He was furious and hated the soft look Luo Binghe was giving him, he remembered catching those looks before Luo Binghe looked away. Was Xin Mo the goal the whole time, was this face actually his evil face? No wonder so many women fell to his charms if he had such a pretty diabolical face.
While Shen Yuan was ranting Luo Binghe could only hum, he could feel the emotions of his sword and it was amusing, Rage fondness then rage again how could he not smile?
He raised Xin Mo in the abyss, and the dark blade reflected him, Luo Binghe. In an empty room.
He leaned back against the tree with a sigh. "The Abyss is truly a detestable place."
Hmm? What was he on about now?
"To Think I could hallucinate and create a kind Shizun..."
Wait- wait he thought Shen Yuan wasn't real!?
How did he-
Oh, Shen Yuan never interacted with the demon clans, and most demons never attacked him they attacked Binghe first...with that perspective Shen Yuan may seem like an apparation-
Of course he WAS an astral projection it made sense for Luo Binghe to question it. Damn that Iq of a protagonist
[Congragulations host! Darkening asencian diverted! Keep working up and up to change the cold blackened protagonists goal from Revenge to Justice 20% complete! Awarded 300+ Points! Continue your hard work.]
...choke on an emoticon and die.

“Shizun, let’s hold hands.”
“Eh?!—I mean, if you want to, sure.”
Shen Yuan casually wipes the palms of his hand on his pant legs, hoping that Bingge doesn’t notice how sweat suddenly starts beading on his hands like they’re an iced drink on a sweltering summer’s day. Anybody’s hands would sweat at such a horrifying request! The potential for social ridicule alone…
He looks around for Shang Qinghua and sees him conspicuously looking the other way.
Bingge looks indifferent as ever, but Shen Yuan reads impatience into the pinch of his eyes, and so he sticks his hands into Binghe’s with the martyred grace of a stoker going into the flames. Binghe’s hands burn just as hot, too, which surprises Shen Yuan.
It’s easy to forget when you’re just a window shopper of human interaction like Shen Yuan is—always looking but never touching—but bodies run hot. They’re constantly undergoing the tiny metabolic reactions he’d learned kept the body thermoregulated and therefore burning alive. Organic systems that hum and stutter and heat just as well as the overheated laptop on his thighs. Shen Yuan shivers.
Binghe’s hand tosses and turns in his, and for a second he wonders why Binghe wanted them to hold hands in the first place if he seems so eager to get out, before he shrugs and lets go.
Only for Binghe to latch on again but with his thumb on top of Shen Yuan’s this time.
That’s weird, right? Did Luo Binghe just fight for who’s on top… in hand-holding?
Talk about the upper hand, ha! Such a strategic humiliation he could’ve never foresaw. Calling his hands sweaty, saying he’s bad at holding hands, sure, but never did he imagine the act itself could be its own form of ruthless domination!
Yet, isn’t that its own weak spot? What’s stopping Shen Yuan from doing the same to him? Calling him out for the unthinkably bizarre act of trying to be dominant in hand-holding. Or even trying to battle for dominance himself, secure in the knowledge that Binghe could never say anything without sounding like a hypocrite.
He starts with the latter. He tries to shake off Binghe's hand.
Like bars of steel!
Binghe must be a master at grip! (He takes that knowledge and boxes it into a tiny corner in Shen Yuan’s mind that will remain forever untouched.)
It’s a wonder his grasp doesn’t crush Shen Yuan’s bones, so Shen Yuan gives it up as lost and gives the other option a go.
“Binghe, are you seriously trying to make sure your thumb is the one on top? Compensating for something, here?” he says, taunting.
“Cucumber-bro, if you want to live, just stop talking!”
Just read a scientific article called "Who's Got the Upper Hand?" about how whose thumb is on top during hand-holding is related to social dominance and LMAO
imagine svsss couples with this
- Bingqiu: Obviously Shen Qingqiu thinks Luo Binghe's thumb goes on top because he's the dominant and the protagonist. Luo Binghe heavily disagrees.

Chapter Index
Chapter 16 - This Venerable One is Stunned
This really couldn't be blamed on the beast-like Mo Ran. Anyone in such a claustrophobic space, trapped with someone he'd slept with countless times - regardless of whether the sex meant anything, whether it was out of revenge or out of love - smelling the familiar smell on the other person, he could never help the lurching feeling in his heart.
Besides, Mo Ran himself was a bastard.
Shi Mei was his white moonlight. He absolutely couldn't bear to touch it, and he doesn't want to destroy it.
He patronized Chu Wanning and only Chu Wanning. All of his darkness, bestial-lust, and bone-crushing rage could be vented with no fear of repercussion.
He crushed him, tore him up underneath him, forcing him to take part in all the tricks he would never try with Shi Mei.
In his previous life, every time he saw Chu Waning tilting his neck and moving his throat, he felt he was about to degenerate into a vicious beast that only knew how to drink blood. He wanted to bite the man's throat open, grind his teeth, suck out his blood, chew through his flesh and bones.
He didn't care about Chu Wanning. He could defile him as much as he wanted.
At the end of it all, his body had developed a habit. Every time he smelled the scent of Chu Wanning's body, his stomach would feel like it's on fire, his heart would itch, and he wanted to tie him down to a bed and fuck him senseless.
There was a moment of silence in the coffin and Mo Ran's racing heart could be heard.
He knows that Chu Wanning's face was very close. He could feel the other's breathing. If he bit it right now, Chu Wanning wouldn't be able to break free, but. . .
Better to forget it.
Mo Ran leaned back and distanced himself from Chu Wanning. It wasn't really easy considering there wasn't really much room in the coffin.
"I'm sorry, Shizun." Mo Ran snorted and pretended to be meek. "I didn't expect the coffin to - shake!"
As soon as he spoke, the coffin slanted again. Mo Ran rolled into Chu Wanning's arms again with a grunt.
Chu Wanning: ". . ."
Mo Ran retreated again, the coffin shook again, and the cycle continued several more times.
"Un-fucking-believable." Mo Ran leaned back again.
The golden boy and girl were probably walking on a slope, and the inside of the coffin wall was slippery. He didn't hold on for too long, Mo Ran helplessly rolled on top of Chu Wanning.
"Shizun. . ." He bit his lip, feeling aggravated.
This guy originally looked kind of cute as a young man. If he deliberately hid his wolf tail and act like a puppy, he could actually pretend to be similar.
Chu Wanning didn't say a word.
Mo Ran really didn't want to roll around again, so he simply gave up the struggle: "I didn't mean to."
Chu Wanning: ". . ."
Mo Ran whispered: "But the wound on my back still hurts so much. . ."
In the darkness, Chu Wanning seemed to sigh gently. The gongs and drums outside were a bit noisy and Mo Ran wasn't sure whether he had really heard it.
But the next moment, Mo Ran smelled a clearer fragrance of begonia flowers, and Chu Wanning's hand wrapped behind his back, blocking the gap that he might have crashed into.
However, it wasn't a hug. Chu Wanning's arms were empty, deliberately avoiding physical contact with Mo Ran. Only the clothes and Mo Ran were touching each other, but this posture was still somewhat intimate.
"Be careful, don't hit it again." The voice was heavy, like porcelain soaked in a stream, with a kind of ancient demure. If he listened to it without hatred in mind, it was actually very nice.
". . . Alright."
Suddenly no one spoke anymore.
At this point, Mo Ran was still a young teenager who wasn't as tall as an adult, so he leaned in Chu Wanning's arms, his forehead fitting underneath Chu Wanning's chin.
This feeling was both familiar and unfamiliar.
What was familiar was the person lying next to him.
What was unfamiliar was the position they were in.
Once upon a time, the past events all transpired in Wushan Hall where he was lying on Life-Death Peak. The Immortal Emperor, who had become a lonely man, held Chu Waning in his arms for dear life in the long, breathless darkness.
At that time, he was already higher than Chu Wanning, and his strength was greater than that of his shizun's. His arms were like iron bars of a cage, locking the little remaining warmth in his arms, like holding the last fire burning in the world.
He bowed his head and kissed Chu Wanning's long black hair, and then greedily attached himself to his face, burying deep into the neck of the other, biting and nibbling without pity.
"I hate you, Chu Wanning. I hate you so much."
There was some hoarseness in his voice.
"But you're all I have left."
A violent smash shattered Mo Ran's memories. The sound of gongs and drums suddenly stopped, and there was dead silence surrounding them.
"Shizun. . ."
Chu Wanning stretched out his hand. He touched his lips, and said solemnly: "Don't talk, we're here."
Sure enough, there was no sound of footsteps outside, and there was only dead silence.
Chu Wanning's fingertips ignited in a cluster of pale golden flames and stroked the wall of the coffin to make a narrow opening, just large enough for two people to see through.
Sure enough, they were carried to the outskirts of Caidie Town. The earth temple dedicated to the Master of Ceremonies Ghost was already densely packed with coffins. The fragrance of the butterfly powder in the air became even denser, floating into the coffin through the wood.
Mo Ran suddenly felt something was wrong: "Shizun, do you think that the scent here, as well as the scent in the illusion, seems to be a bit different from the smell in Young Master Chen's coffin?"
". . . What do you mean?"
Mo Ran was more sensitive to the smell. He said: "When we were on the north mountain, the moment the coffin opened, the smell that floated out was very good. Considering it was the butterfly fragrance incense, there was nothing to make me dislike it. But since entering the illusion, I always felt that the smell was similar, but there were some subtle differences. I couldn't figure out what was different, but now. . . I think I probably know."
Chu Wanning looked at him sideways: "You don't like the smell?"
Mo Ran stuck against the gap, still staring outside, and then said: "Yeah. I haven't liked the smell of incense since I was a child. The smell here, and in the illusion, isn't the hundred butterfly fragrance poweder at all, but a special high fragrance used by the people of Caidie Town to burn when worshiping the Master of Ceremonies Ghost. Look there—"
Chu Wanning followed his line of sight and looked at the clay incense burner in front of the earth temple. Sure enough, three arm-thick vertical incense sticks were burning, and they were passing a sweet smell into the wind.
The people in Caidie Town were good at making all kinds of powders from various flowers, so all the fragrances that are used to pray to the gods were made in their own town, and they don't buy them from other places. Since the flowers used are all planted in the outskirts of the town, the smell that turned out wasn't that different from something made by an amateur.
Chu Wanning pondered: "Could it be that the fragrance in the coffin of Young Master Chen had nothing to do with the smell in the illusionary realm?"
Before he could ponder the details of this new discovery, a dazzling red light from the earth temple interrupted his thoughts. The two people hiding in the coffin looked together and saw that the temple was shining brightly, reflecting its brilliant surroundings. There was a row of iron shelves on the side of the temple with red lotus lanterns for making wishes. Those lotus lanterns had originally been extinguished, but now they were all being lit up, one by one.
The boys and girls guarding all the coffins knelt down one after another, chanting: "The Master of Ceremonies has come down to earth to guide us wild ghosts and lonely souls to be free from eternal suffering, to meet a good man, to lie in the same coffin, and to be companions in the Underworld."
Through the sound of chanting, the Master of Ceremonies Ghost in the temple radiated golden immortal light. Then, she lowered her eyelids, slowly moved the corners of her mouth, and leapt off the offering platform.
Her movements were quite elegant and graceful, her appearance a million times more elegant
It's a pity that the body was made of mud and she was too heavy. The girl's house, with a bang, was smashed into a big hole in the ground.
Mo Ran: "Pfft."
Chu Wanning: ". . ."
The Master of Ceremonies Ghost also seemed dissatisfied with the placement of her feet. She stared at the big pit in the ground for a while before pacing out of the pit and straightening her clothes.
She looked like a woman wearing heavy makeup, dressed in red and green, quite cheerful. In the dark night, it turned its neck and came to the hundred people buried in coffins. The night breeze was full of the stench of corpses. She seemed to be in a better mood. She slowly opened her arms and let out a few giggles.
"If you believe in me and make offerings to me, you will be able to meet a good destiny and complete the lifelong event that you weren't able to complete during your life." The tender voice drifted in the night, and the ghosts kowtowed in excitement.
"Blessings of the Master of Ceremonies--"
"Please let the Master of Ceremonies bless this marriage--"
The pleadings were coming from all around her and the Master of Ceremonies seemed to be enjoying herself. She slowly moved among the rows of coffins, and her long nails scraped against the bright red vermilion lacquered coffin boards, making a sharp and ear-piercing sound.
Mo Ran was curious: "Shizun, I remember you said that demons, immortals, ghosts, gods, humans and the devil belong to the six realms, but this immortal doesn't like in heaven. How come she's with these ghosts in the underground instead?"
"Because it cares about ghost marriages, and her main food source is the offerings of the ghosts." Chu Wanning said. "Ghosts can greatly increase her power, otherwise she wouldn't be able to cultivate her immortal body in only a hundred years. With such benefits, she's happy to stay with her 'friends' in the underworld."
The Master of Ceremonies Ghost walked around the group of coffins and returned to the front. The empty and tender voice rang again: "Open a coffin and I'll bless the marriage. Starting from the left."
Following its order, the first coffin on the left slowly opened, and the golden boy and girl were greeted by the two corpses inside staggeringly crawled out, and the gorgeous flaming red dress made the face of the dead look pale and lifeless.
The married couple slowly approached the Master of Ceremonies Ghost and knelt down.
The Master of Ceremonies Ghost put her hand between them and said: "In the name of the master of ceremonies, I grant you this marriage after death. From now on, you will be husband and wife, man and woman together in joy."
Mo Ran rolled his eyes and muttered: "If you can't write a poem, don't do it. It should be a good marriage vow, so why does it sound so lewd?"
Chu Wanning said coldly: "You have a dirty mind."
Mo Ran shut up.
But it didn't take long for the Master of Ceremonies Ghost to personally prove that it wasn't Mo Ran who was dirty-minded, but the god in charge of the marriage who was the lewd one.
He saw that the married corpses seemed to have swallowed some kind of aphrodisiac. They were already two dead ghosts, but suddenly they began to tear each other’s clothes, feverishly kissing and embracing each other passionately. They were entangled so shamelessly in public.
Chu Wanning: ". . ."
Mo Ran: ". . ."
"In the name of the Master of Ceremonies, I give you the joys of heaven. If Yin and Yang can intermingle, what's the harm with life and death!"
The cry of the Master of Ceremonies Ghost became more shrill and much louder.
The movements of the two corpses became more and more exaggerated. After removing the clothes, the male corpse was actually full of passion, full of energy, and no different from a living person.
Mo Ran was stunned: ". . . Is this. . . fucking. . . okay???"

Shen Qingqiu decides enough is enough! As is his right
If you see any typos in this, no you don’t 😌
—
The door flies open right on the midday hour mark, when the candle that he lit this morning is exactly half gone, and Shang Qinghua immediately dives underneath his desk and throws his arms over his hand.
“I’m almost done!” He calls out desperately. “Just give me a few more hours, I promise I’m almost done!”
Following this, a silence in his office, long and inspecting, takes place. Shang Qinghua, despite all his instincts screaming otherwise, peeks his head up over the edge of his desk and gulps. The person standing in his door, who is surveying his admittedly very messy office (it’s not his fault! Paperwork breeds like multiplying cells! Why doesn’t anyone understand that?!), and looking very, very unamused.
“Ha, um,” he scrambles back to sit on the chair again, trying to get his thundering heart under control. “H-Hello, Shen-shixiong! This — I — I wasn’t expecting….”
Shen Qingqiu finishes his examination of his workspace and locks his gaze upon Shang Qinghua. He steps smoothly into the office, and shuts the door behind him with sure but quiet movements. A cold sweat breaks out down Shang Qinghua’s spine.
He swallows. He reaches forward and grabs up the paperwork he’d been pouring over before this interruption and holds it feebly before himself like a shield.
“A-Acruelly, shixiong…. If shixiong has something he wants from this shidi, I-I’m afraid it will have to wait. Wei-shixiong demanded these requisition forms be looked over and approved before tomorrow a-and there… there are a lot of them to go through…. I think he waited until the last minute — Oh! And Liu-shidi, he — um, he sent in his audit reports late again, so I have to go through those too and I’m really really sorry but whatever you have for me I can’t —!”
“Stop your babbling.” Shen Qingqiu snaps. Shang Qinghua’s jaw clicks shut so fast his teeth hurt a little. Ow.
He watches with wide eyes as his shixiong — who is now scowling heavily, nooo — begins to flip through the various stacks of parchment and scrolls that sit heavy upon Shang Qinghua’s desk. Too terrified to tell him that, actually, only the sect leader should be looking through those ones, Shang Qinghua remains quiet.
Really, nobody tells Shen Qingqiu what he can or can’t do. Those who have tried before are —
Well. They’ve all seen their sect leader.
“These.” Shen Qingqiu slips a smaller stack of documents out from the middle of one of the piles and holds it up. “The supply logs from the previous joint peak night hunting expedition. They have yet to be filed?”
“Shixiong,” Shang Qinghua’s eyes water in frustration, and he holds up his sleeve to cover them. “I meant to, I did! But — but when I was going to get to them, Qi-shimei came in with a cart full of delegated peak maintenance reports! She said if they weren’t done before noon she’d — Ah.” He shudders, peeks over his arm, and goes pale at the way Shen Qingqiu’s eyes have narrowed viciously. He hurries on, voice growing smaller. “I’d just finished them when Wei-shixiong brought me his backlog requisitions….”
He trails off, because the expression on his shixiong face has gone colder and colder the longer he spoke.
“Why haven’t you chosen to delegate?” The man demands from between his locked teeth. “All these disciples that you have, and you’re telling me you can’t delegate a single task to them?”
“Shixiong,” Shang Qinghua’s eyes water again and he shiffles pathetically into his sleeve. “Shixiong, I do delegate. This stuff in my office here, this is all the work only peak lords have the security clearance for. Everything else I delegate to my disciples, because I can’t… I can’t….”
Shen Qingqiu stares down his nose at him, and Shang Qinghua stops talking. He drops his gaze and listens as the man silently turns on his heel and stalks out of his office, closing the door with a solid thump.
He wipes his eyes with his sleeve and drops his arm defeatedly into his lap, frowning down at the water stains his stupid tears have left in the fabric. Silk is so fucking dumb, you can’t walk through without it picking up dirt somehow. It’s why he changed his peak robes to darker colors, because at least black doesn’t show where you’ve been all day.
And seriously, it’s just so much easier to scrub blood out of clothes that aren’t white or beige or pastel.
He shoves his paperwork to the side and folds his arms before him, letting his head thunk down on them with an exhausted sigh. The door opens slightly again and a head peaks in.
“Shizun?”
“A-Kao,” he mumbles into his arms. “I’m gonna die.”
His head disciple gives a polite sound of acknowledgement. “I’ll have someone prepare some of the spiced tea imported from that Eastern desert oasis, then.”
“I love you,” Shang Qinghua says fervently, and listens as his favorite disciple huffs a quiet laugh.
“Will return shortly.”
The door closes again, and with it, Shang Qinghua closes his eyes.
Jin Kao is true to his word, as always, and in fact brings a light snack of fruit and a pastry along with the tea. Shang Qinghua plows through it at record pace and is energized! He’s halfway through the requisition forms for Wei Qingwei when his door is slammed open once again.
He flinches. Taking a fortifying breath, Shang Qinghua glances up and immediately loses all color.
“Shen-shixiong is back!” He shakes, voice wobbling. “With — with Z-Zhangmen-shixiong, ah…!”
Shen Qingqiu stalks into the room, side stepping Jin Kao whose arms are laden with the empty tea set. The head disciple wisely flees into the corner, watching with a narrow gaze as the Qing Jing peak lord all but drags their venerated Sect Leader across the office to stand before Shang Qinghua’s desk.
Shang Qinghua trembles as they both loom over him. What did he do?! Shixiong, what he’s said before was completely reasonable! There was no need to go and fetch your overbearing ge!
Shen Qingqiu points a finger at Shang Qingh— oh wait, not him. At his desk. At the mountains of papers littering his desk.
“If you have time to relax and drink tea in your spotless office,” the second in command sneers at his superior, “then you have time to pick up the slack so that our shidi can do the same!”
Shang Qinghua gapes. He stares up at them with round, round eyes, uncertain as to what’s going on.
Yue Qingyuan, for his part, quails under Shen Qingqiu’s steely and unrelenting gaze. His shoulders are tense, and the way in which he looks around Shang Qinghua’s office with a startled look, only to then turn it upon Shang Qinghua himself, just screams ‘bro, you live like this?’
Not by choice! Shang Qinghua never asked for this, Yue-shixiong! The paperwork just never stops!
Shen Qingqiu pivots sharply, glaring down at him instead. Ah!
“What are you doing?” The man says. “Get up.”
“Ah?” Completely bewildered, Shang Qinghua only stares up at the man in confusion.
“Honestly.” Shen Qingqiu sighs under his breath — a sharp and stilted sound of frustration.
He rounds the desk himself and grabs Shang Qinghua by the upper arm, hauling him up from his chair and dragging him away from the desk.
“Th-This—?!”
“Sect Leader,” Shen Qingqiu nods at the desk. Yue Qingyuan only stares blankly at him, and so he sneers. “These forms must be finished. And the next stack. All by a peak lord — I’m taking Shang-shidi for a well deserved break, so I can’t do it, and Wei-shidi was the one to submit them in the first place. Of the four foremost peak lords of the sect, only you have time and clearance to do it.”
Shang Qinghua sways, shocked. If Shen Qingqiu didn’t still have such a bone-crushing grip on him, he might have even fallen. The other man steadies him immediately, and the sour look on his face sours even further.
Yue Qingyuan’s face is pale. “Qingqiu-shidi….”
“It isn’t as if you were busy with anything else.” Shen Qingqiu plows on past whatever refuting the sect leader was trying to pull. He shakes Shang Qinghua roughly by the arm, and Shang Qinghua rapidly blinks away the spots from his vision. “Look at our shidi, he’s nearly dead on his feet. Are you telling me that you would make him work more, when it’s already clear that he’s overworked?”
Yue Qingyuan pauses. He glances around the office another time, shoulders lowering in slow increments. His resolve is crumbling visibly to everyone in the office.
Shang Qinghua silently mouths ‘overworked’ to himself, stunned.
Finally, the sect leader sighs. “No, Qingqiu-shidi is right.”
Shen Qingqiu snorts. As if to say ‘of course I am.’
Yue Qingyuan steps around the desk and slowly takes the seat that Shang Qinghua had just been forcably vacated from. He eyes the stack of paperwork that are piled high, not just on the desk but on the floor and the shelves surrounding the desk, and an expression of regret eclipses his face.
“This shixiong had not realized Shang-shidi’s workload was quite so…” he trails off, trying to fish for the right word, and finally lands on, “heavy.”
“It’s the Sect Leader’s duty to ascertain that all those under his sect’s banner are taken care of. Those directly under his command even more so.” Shen Qingqiu sniffs disdainfully. “You have no excuse.”
Yue Shixiong bows his head. “No, this one does not.”
“I’m taking Shang Qinghua to Qing Jing to recuperate.”
“Yes.”
Shang Qinghua pales even further. He ducks his head down and glances over to the corner into which his head disciple had squirreled himself away for help.
Jin Kao stares back, an expression of smug victory on his face, and doesn’t say a single word.
This traitor! Unfilial disciple! Shang Qinghua takes back what he said about Jin Kao being his favorite. He’s replacing that brat as soon as he’s able to escape Shen Qingqiu’s clutches.
Shen Qingqiu yanks on his arms, dragging him out of the office. He cranes his neck around, and the last scene he sees before the door slams shut is Jin Kao setting down the empty tea set, picking up a large stack of papers from one of the various spots on the floor, which he then ferries over to the desk at which Yue Qingyuan has picked up the half-finished requisition, looking it over with a frown.
Huh. He’s never seen his head disciple look quite so intimidating before. The boy is practically looming over their sect leader with a dark expression.
That’s a little strange.
He doesn’t see beyond that, though, because Shen Qingqiu slams the doors shut again and drags him off his own damn peak.

Shikamaru squeezed his eyes together for a short moment, and tilted his head before opening them again. Cheeks turning a bit pink. "...You make it sound so... empty and cold when you say it like that, but yeah, I suppose so. You wake that up in me.." No matter what, though, it never changed how much he hated talking about it. He certainly would never speak so easily of sex as Kakashi. Never. "I want to... spend nights with you, yes. It made a lot of things better for some reason, and I... I liked waking up after, too.. I don't even know if that makes any sense." As for the ANBU... He hated that, too. "If it gets out... it will be troublesome. A few from my clan will probably try to cut my life short, but... that's nothing new. I'm more concerned about what the news would do to you, if I'm honest. Is that so bad of me?" Shikamaru heard him out, managed to keep a chuckle from escaping about the heartbreaking situation Kakashi apparently had no idea how he managed. Oh... That's almost funny. But he'd let it be. As for his not so neutral and chill reaction... "Mmm... I don't know why I react so strongly, I'm afraid. I can't answer that yet, kakashi. I don't know. This whole situation is kind of new to me, so maybe that's why. I also respect you a whole lot and I like you. I highly value our friendship and maybe I was afraid of losing that, no matter what I did or said. I panicked. I feel a lot. I care a bit obsessively about my friends." He shrugged, rubbing his neck. "Sometimes it's overwhelming, I can't... describe it better." Shikamaru looked out the window, then slowly moved to sit down on the desk, watching the floor. "I only ever truly loved one man." he looked up, watching Kakashi. "I don't know if that is good enough for you as a promise that I won't push anything relationship-wise onto you. I'm probably not much of a relationship kind of guy, either. I'm too difficult for someone to love and live with. So... I dunno. You want me to sign an agreement or something?" He smiled amused at the last sentence. "But, Kakashi... This is what I want. I haven't heard a thing of what you'd like for us to do. Just because I want this casual thing with you, doesn't mean it has to be that way. I don't know whether you like or loathe the idea. What do you want?... You don't need to answer now. Think it over, take you time." Shikamaru offered, pushing himself off the desk and walking over to the door. "I'm heading over to Morino now, before he leave for the day. Then I'll return home for the day, myself."
Yeah he really was not good at this.
“Well I don’t think you thought it to be that empty and cold last night ne?” he replied. ‘Friends with benefits’ still contained the friends part after all.
It did not have to make sense though Kakashi could relate. At times it was nice not waking up alone. Especially if you knew it was a friend next to you.
“Having a fling or two won’t do anything to me aside from talk Shikamaru. What would it be? Taking that mushroom hat? Be my guest…I did not exactly stand in line to get it to begin with and if they do not manage to talk Tsunade sama back into it there is no one else to do it.” Also Tsunade sama had 1 or 2 flaws of her own. Drinking, gambling and honestly Kakashi would not be surprised if there had been something going on with Shizune.
“You are an adult who can make his own decisions.”
Kakashi had not even been his teacher for 5 minutes as it had been with Team 7. The only issue was that he was his assistant and direct subordinate.
“You do have to act like one though and be frank with me about what you want or not.”
Guessing was no option. Shikamaru had to be clear with him.
Asuma…probably. Kakashi did not asked. It was of no relevance. Did it soothe his anxiety? No. Not entirely at least. Just because Shikamaru had not loved anyone since did not mean that he never would again. However Asuma definitely had been a better man than Kakashi so he might be good there.
“Nah…I’m afraid such an agreement would have to go through the council ne?” That would be very funny.
“Who knows…maybe they have already promised me to someone without my knowledge.” He was joking. They would though if they saw a benefit.
Ahhh there it was. The dreaded question. He was not good at that either. Deciding what he wanted.
“Well…” he started but then Shikamaru was pretty much on the way out. What the…!?
“No no no no…” he said and was already at the door and had put his hand on it. They were standing close now.
“You are not leaving for two reasons. First I’m not done and don’t need to mull over this.” He leant just a bit closer, lowering his voice.
“I’m not going to set schedules here or something…because that’s just…” he said, looking down. That would absolutely not be sexy.
“Let’s just…see where things go” he said looking up through his lashes to catch Shikamaru’s gaze, clearly licking his lips under the mask. He was open to it but it just had to come naturally so to speak. Not set up or something. Because that would be awfully awkward.
“Second…” he said, leaning even closer, his cloth covered lips directly next to Shikamaru’s ear.
“You have earned yourself the privilege” he started quite seductively.
“…of getting the printers on the second level going again since you threw Iwashi out off my office before he received that order” he said, leaning back again with quite a bit of a grin and caught the younger man’s gaze.
narasnooze
Shikamaru kept his stern, semi-tired expression and shook his head slightly. "I have no plan. I've got nothing, I have no idea how anyone can work up a strategy about this kind of thing, I really don't. It's quite remarkable that people seem to understand how this shit works. It's a puzzle that's impossible to solve, or even find the beginning of. I don't like it when I can't solve something. It's driving me crazy." No shit. "Of course, it isn't. And I don't care about the archive. I'm probably not welcome there anymore, anyway." Shikamaru said, taking a few steps closer. The urge to grab, pull in and kiss was there. Definitely. But in reality, that would be very hard to achieve... Kakashi was fast, and as already stated, didn't like surprise movements. He'd probably stop him before Shikamaru's hand would've even reached his shirt. Neither were drunk this time, after all. "You asked what I wanted to do. ...I already told you, like a coward, yeah, but I meant it. That's what I want..."
Was that really all he wanted? Because the answer to that question would definitely make a difference to Kakashi.
How to phrase this without sounding vulgar? Well maybe that was not possible really.
“So what you want from me is occasional sex. Miraculously all of a sudden you don’t care for the Anbu…” who possibly were having quite a laugh at their little drama here.
“…don’t care for your clan or comments if this comes out… did I get that right?” He did believe the sex part alright. Shikamaru was a young man so of course he was into sex. He was not so certain Shikamaru really would let the talk slide off of him though. But then maybe he was wrong. At the end of the day he would have to trust his word.
Now the even less pleasant part.
“I do not want to sound arrogant but for whatever ridiculous reason I do have an unfortunate track record of people wanting more from me than I can give. It always ended in heartbreak though I did my best to not encourage it. I do not want to risk our friendship over this and if it truly is just about sex every once in a while I don’t think it would but to be clear I don’t do relationships. I’m not saying that this is your intend but so far your reaction as been anything but relaxed and casual ne? So forgive if I’m a little suspicious here.”

[Kinktober 2021: Wax Play (18+)]
BingQiu | Scum Villain Self-Saving System 27-10-2021
Day 26: [Wax Play] / F̷i̷s̷t̷i̷n̷g̷ / M̷e̷n̷o̷p̷h̷i̷l̷i̷a̷
Luo Binghe is a curious man and when he overhears his husband and Shang Qinghua talking about wax play, he wants to know what it is about.
====
“I did not expect for cucumber bro to know about wax play” Shang Qinghua laughed, catching Luo Binghe attention as he was getting back to their bamboo house. “What a kinky one you are” sqh teased him.
Shen Qingqiu rolled his eyes a bit, drinking his tea, “I read your trash novel, I learned some, but I stumble onto that one younger, I... got curious... tried once and ended up burning myself” sqq admitted. Not a good experience.
“Shizun did things without me?! And with someone else?!” lbh suddenly said as he came in, looking at his husband rather hurt. Sqq nearly choked on his tea, not expecting for his husband to have heard them talk about it.
“No! I did it... alone” he said, unsure how to explain to lbh that it was in a time before he was even sqq, neither he nor sqh had had that discussion with the demons yet.
“What is this wax play then? If shizun likes it this disciple wants to do it too”.
“I’ll be taking my leave,” sqh said, not exactly wanting to hear in all detail the way lbh wanted to fuck his best friend.
After an afternoon explaining what wax play is. And of course, lbh wanted to try the moment sqq mentioned he did had an interest in trying.
And this is how now lbh was kneeling in front of him, already down to his underrobes holding out some candles. And how could sqq say no to these puppy eyes.
“Are you sure this wax I-”
“I asked Shua Hualing for wax that can be used safely because I knew Shizun wouldn’t accept if I didn’t bring proper wax” lbh explained earnestly, shuffling a bit closer to where sqq was sitting on the bed, now between his leg.
‘I am sorry shl for making him ask you about this’ sqq thought to himself, wondering how could his husband be this shameless and ask shl and mbj about things like this.
At least he supposed they were indeed safe (not that some wax would have really hurt the /protagonist/).
Sqq sighed. He would lie if he said he was not interested in doing this actually. Especially that now lbh seemed more than interested. He hummed a bit, patting his lap.
Soon he had his lap full of his husband, undoing the little robes that were left on him, taking a red candle, observing it first.
“Shizun” lbh said a bit unable to keep himself in place correctly, stopping when he received a little kiss from his husband. He watched as sqq lit the candle, waiting for some wax to melt before letting so fall on his tight.
It was interesting feeling his legs contract around his lap, hearing him gasp in surprise despite expecting it, watching the wax solidify. “Are you alright?” sqq asked, lbh nodding, gently touching his hand to guide him to do it again, “Hand in the back” sqq softly ordered, hearing lbh whine despite still doing it.
So sqq went back to dropping wax, stopping when it seemed too much, watching with interest the way lbh muscle would contract under it, the way the bigger droplet would slide to the side before solidifying.
He was about to warn lbh again when he moved his hand, only to see him stop a droplet from falling on his clean robes. “Shizun shouldn’t get his robes dirty,” he said.
Sqq nodded at this, it would be troublesome to get them dirty (though he knew lbh would get them back to perfect after).
He tapped lbh tight slightly to make him move, the demon lord kneeling on the bed as he watched him undress too, soon coming back to him fully naked.
He made lbh sit cross-legged on the bed, sitting in his lap too, going back to waxing him with interest, watching the pretty colours dropping down lbh torso, fingers smearing the still hot wax against him, enjoying the hot feeling.
He was about to apologise to lbh when a couple of droplets fell on his dick, only to hear him moan and grip his hips. He looked up curiously at his husband, kissing his forehead.
“Do you allow me to drop more on your cock” he asked, lbh looking up at him with teary eyes. “Yes,” he replied.
It was fascinating how hard lbh got from the wax falling directly on his dick. He was truly a masochist and something in sqq was slowly blooming a bit more at this.
Then sqq jumped a bit when some wax dropped on him. Binghe hand quickly hovered about it, unsure what to do, looking worried about him.“I am alright” sqq said, hand a bit hesitant before dropping more on himself. It was actually enjoyable, not as burning as he tried in the past.
“Shizun looks pretty with wax on him” lbh complimented near his ear. Sqq smiled at this, it was pretty indeed.
Soon, they were both a mess of coloured wax, rutting against each other, sqq forgetting he had ordered lbh not to touch. He only stopped when they both came and a lot of the wax was already used, but also there was an already good amount of wax on lbh.
“You did so good today,” sqq said as he kissed lbh to stop his crying from feeling good, peeling off the wax (which was also fun to do).
Maybe they should try again later, it is not as scary as the first time he did it.
====
(hopefully, I wrote it right, I think waxplay is also one of those kinks that are easier and prettier to draw than to write but the two others are just, really not my cup of tea and waxplay looks fun)

Hiiii!!!! Could I get some Jiriaya smut for how he would react to his fem s/o wearing fishnets on a night out?
Word count: 1,766 Pairings: Jiraiya x Reader Warnings: Smut, unprotected sex, jealousy, angst, creampies Summary: Reader loves Jiraiya and wants to be his girlfriend, but Jiraiya doesn't show that kind of affection. When they go out one night, her outfit makes him go crazy...
Jiraiya sits on your couch as you put the finishing touches to your hair, makeup and outfit for the night. He had asked you out for a few drinks and you’d be meeting up with Shizune, Kakashi and Tsunade while you were at the bar.
You and Jiraiya weren’t official yet, but you were hoping that eventually he would ask you to be his girlfriend. You had been seeing each other for a few months now, and while everyone was telling you it would be any time now that he’d ask you to be his lady, you were beginning to doubt it.
When you emerge from the bedroom, Jiraiya’s jaw drops. You are dressed up really nicely. With your sexy little red dress that’s basically skin tight and your fishnet tights, he cannot keep his eyes off of you.
“Like what you see?” You tease as you grab your sandals. You pull them on and grab your purse from the hook on the wall. Jiraiya can hardly think of anything to say, which is very rare for him.
You both walk down to the bar which is near your place, and Jiraiya is literally at a loss for words. Your outfit has him so damn turned on already. He just wants to scoop you up and bring you home to fuck you until the sun comes up. Those fishnet tights are driving him insane.
“You’re quiet tonight, sweetie.” You say as you walk into the bar with Jiraiya. Immediately you both spot Tsunade, Shizune and Kakashi at a table.
“I’ve just got some things on my mind. Let’s have a drink!” Jiraiya says, hoping you won’t ask too many questions.
You shrug as you rush over to the table. Kakashi gets up to let you sit next to him and Jiraiya sits next to Tsunade. Your heart clenches in your chest as you look at the pair. You know that Jiraiya has been in love with Tsunade for so long, and while he assured you he was over her, you always had your doubts.
“You finally made it!” Tsunade slurs. You can tell she’s already a little tipsy, and so is Shizune.
“We were waiting forever!” Shizune says as she smiles brightly.
Jiraiya laughs as he points to you, “We had to wait for this one to get ready.” You can feel a blush creep on your cheeks.
Kakashi looks over at you and shrugs, “It seems worth the wait, if you ask me.”
Jiraiya narrows his eyes at Kakashi before turning to look at you. Kakashi was right. You looked so amazing tonight and he was only trying to make light of the situation. He didn’t like how Kakashi was making him look bad.
“Awhh, Kashi! You’re so sweet!” You say as you lean into him. He just blushes and looks away from Jiraiya’s glare.
“Let’s get this party started!!” Tsunade cheers as she gets up to get another bottle of booze for the table. She almost trips, which warrants Jiraiya to keep her steady.
“How about I help you out?” He suggests to her and she just smiles and they walk away towards the bar.
Suddenly, you feel very small and insignificant. It’s a bit awkward until Shizune starts up a conversation about the weather and all kinds of things. You and Kakashi are laughing along with her and by the time Jiraiya and Tsunade return, you are feeling better.
Until...You notice his hand on her hip. You know he’s just trying to be a good friend and help her because she’s a little drunk, but you are starting to get a little jealous.
The drinks start flowing and you are starting to feel a little more calm. Jiraiya keeps shooting glances your way, which is reassuring. You hate the way that Tsunade is hanging off of him, but you aren’t holding it against her. They are old friends and he did once love her, and of course, she is drunk. But Jiraiya should be sitting with you.
“So,” you ask as you lean in to talk to Kakashi. “How are the students?”
“Oh, they are fine. A handful most times, but they are all good kids.” Kakashi says as he takes a sip of his drink.
Your eyes dart over to where Tsunade is rubbing herself against Jiraiya, and you are almost in tears. Kakashi senses your uneasiness and he just leads you out of the booth. He brings you over to the corner of the bar and the two of you begin talking.
“Hey look, she’s not actually doing anything. He’s completely into you,” Kakashi explains, but you hold up your hand.
“You don’t need to explain anything to me. I know that he’s always loved her and I’m going to be number two to her.” You say sadly.
That’s when you feel a strong pair of arms on your waist. They pull you in and you feel a wall of muscles. When you turn around, you see Jiraiya. He gives Kakashi a look, and Kakashi just nods and walks away.
“Where did you run off to?” Jiraiya asks in a teasing tone.
“I just...I’m not sure,” you struggle to respond. He pulls you in for a heated kiss. His hands go from your waist to your ass and then down to your thighs.
“You don’t need to be jealous,” Jiraiya whispers in your ear as he feels your fishnet tights. He can feel his cock straining in his pants as he caresses your legs.
“J-jealous? I...I’m not jealous!” You whine, but Jiraiya just laughs.
“Don’t lie to me, princess. I know you are worried that Tsunade is going to steal me away, but you are the one that I want.”
His words linger in your mind as you lean in to kiss him again. This time it’s much more heated and you can feel yourself grinding up against him. You both pull away breathless, and Jiraiya grabs your hand to pull you out of the bar.
Outside, the air is cool and it’s just hitting you in the best way possible. You aren’t sure where Jiraiya is taking you, but you trust him.
“My princess, jealous of Tsunade. Let me show you how much you mean to me,” Jiraiya says as he pulls you into the alleyway.
It’s dark and quiet, and you can tell nobody is out here with you. Jiraiya pushes you up against the wall and kisses you passionately once more. You can feel the wetness between your thighs begin to build as he pins you.
“I want you so badly,” Jiraiya breathes as he starts to kiss your neck. “Those damn fishnet tights drive me insane, princess.”
You blush at his words. You weren’t really thinking of that when you put them on. You just really love fishnets. Jiraiya cups your ass and picks you up as he continues to ravage your neck in bitemarks. You wrap your legs around him as he pins you to the wall once more. You groan as he bites down on your collarbone, licking the bitemark. You know you’ll be covered in love bites when you’re done.
“‘M gonna fuck you here. I can’t wait any longer. I need your tight little pussy around my cock now,” Jiraiya groans as he pulls your dress down. Your tits pop out and he starts sucking on your nipples.
“Ahh! Jiraiya! Here?” You ask as he continues to suck on your nipples. He doesn’t answer, so you know he means it.
One of the hands holding you up goes to your pussy and he immediately tears open your tights to access your panties. You whine as you feel him rip the clothing.
“Shhh, I’ll buy you more. Just let me feel that wet pussy!” Jiraiya is in a frenzy now. His fingers push your panties aside and he slips two of his fingers deep within you.
“Oh…” you whimper as he begins curling his fingers inside of you. Jiraiya smirks and kisses you roughly as he continues his pace. You can feel the coil in your stomach tighten, and your orgasm is closer than you expected.
With his two fingers deep within you and his thumb bullying your poor clit, you’re barely holding on. His name falls from your lips in pants and gasps as he continues to suck and nip at your neck.
“I can’t believe my princess was also trying to make me jealous in there,” Jiraiya confesses. You knew it! He was trying to make you jealous.
“Jiraiya!” You whine as he continues to finger fuck you. It’s a harsher pace now.
“Admit it, you were flirting with Kakashi to make me jealous. We both had a game we were playing,” Jiraiya grunts as you whimper his name.
“Fine fine! I was making you jealous! But you were also making me jealous.” You moan as his fingers brush against your g spot for the umpteenth time. With his thumb rubbing your clit, you are so close.
“I was,” Jiraiya admits as he pushes you over the edge. You bite your lip to stop yourself from crying out, but Jiraiya fucks you harder with his fingers to make your orgasm that much more intense.
Once your orgasm dies down, you think he’s going to bring you home. Instead, he just undoes his pants and takes out his rock hard cock. Without warning, he sheaths himself deep within you.
“Fuck princess, your pussy is perfect.” Jiraiya grunts as he starts up a slow pace.
You try to keep yourself quiet and Jiraiya places his hand on your mouth, but none of that lasts long. You’re both moaning and crying out as Jiraiya fucks your brains out.
“So fucking deep,” you mutter as he continues to spear you on his cock. You’re practically drooling as the head keeps rubbing up against your sweet spot.
“Are you going to be mine?” Your heart and pussy flutter at his words.
“I’m yours! I’m all yours!” You moan as he fucks you harder.
“I’m all yours too, princess.” Jiraiya mutters as he kisses you sloppily.
Two more thrusts are all it takes for both of you to fall off the edge. Jiraiya groans as he pumps you full of cum, and you are whining as your walls milk him.
When you both stop moving, Jiraiya presses his forehead to yours and looks deeply into your eyes. You can sense all the affection and emotions he’s feeling.
“I love you,” He says as he presses a sweet kiss to your lips.
“I love you too,”

More, they said. We need more, they said. Well, have more. I don’t think anyone wanted this exactly, but that’s what you’re getting.
Tianlang-Jun might not have been a good father to his only son until now, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t worried about him.
He likes to think he would have made for a decent paternal figure. Not a great dad, but good enough. He’s self-aware enough to know that he could never have been one of those people who, once they see their firstborn’s face, feel their whole world change. Tianlang-Jun had loved only once, and no one would ever surpass that.
Luo Binghe is the only thing of Su Xiyan that remains, and for that alone Tianlang-Jun wants to do right by him, now that he knows he exists.
Since he is their son, he will also make for a perfect heir to his empire, but that’s secondary. Heavens know Su Xiyan had wanted nothing to do with being a high-society wife, hating the idea enough to disappear in the ether with the competency Tianlang-Jun knew and loved about her, making it impossible for him to find her until many, many years had passed and the child he didn’t know existed was almost a man, desperate to make his way into the world.
It was his duty as his father to facilitate this.
He is pretty sure Luo Binghe hates him, which he really can’t blame him for. What did Tianlang-Jun ever do for him before today? But Luo Binghe still accepted his financial backing, the nice apartment he bought for him and the connections Tianlang-Jun offered him, so there exists a concrete link between them.
How can his son run like his dear Xiyan did, when everything he owns has been provided by Tianlang-Jun?
He suspects that won’t last. Luo Binghe is smart, as much as his mother was. He’s probably opening secret accounts and building his own, independent fortune.
Good for him.
But he’s still young, his son, and unused to the ruthlessness of the world they now share. Tianlang-Jun had tried to prepare him as much as he could, and frankly, he thought Luo Binghe more than up to the task, but apparently, he was wrong, since he was entrapped by a most unpleasant man, from what he has heard.
This honestly surprised him. Tianlang-Jun is a loyal man. Su Xiyan wasn’t the type to fool around either. How come Luo Binghe let a ruffian seduce him and take him to bed?
Really, as his father, Tianlang-Jun must verify by himself whether there was any truth in the concerned whispers that had reached his ears.
This would be much easier if Luo Binghe would take his calls.
Since he won’t, he will have to deal with his father’s inopportune visit.
“What are you doing here,” says his dear son, looking very annoyed, as expected.
“Can’t I come visit my only son?”
Luo Binghe very visibly stops himself from saying no and closing the door in his face, probably only because he’s still reliant on his money. “Warn me before you show up.”
Tianlang-Jun wouldn’t cut him off, but Luo Binghe doesn’t trust him not to. That’s a work in progress. “I tried, but none of my calls were answered.”
“Write.”
Children. “I want to hear your voice from time to time. Is that so much to ask for?”
“Look, now’s not a good time.”
Tianlang-Jun blinks, and looks at his feet, where a pair of shoes too small to be his son’s is resting.
A glance over Luo Binghe’s shoulders reveals two tea cups and a plate of snacks on a coffee table, and what appears to be a hastily discarded book.
Tianlang-Jun feels himself smile. If it were just a friend, Luo Binghe wouldn’t have bothered to hide him away. Since he apparently likes men, and wouldn’t drink tea and read books with that reprehensible booty call of his, he has a proper date here.
Good for him. While Tianlang-Jun would have wanted the opportunity of being a grandfather, since he’s never been a proper father, he’s not enough of a hypocrite to demand of his son that he marries well and provides an heir and a spare.
As long as he gets the happiness Tianlang-Jun never quite grasped, he will have his father’s full support. “Far from me to interrupt your date. Can I at least meet him before I go?”
“No! Go away now!”
Tianlang-Jun resists Luo Binghe’s attempts to forcefully push him out. Embarrassing his son by confronting his significant other is his right and privilege as his progenitor. He won’t let such a good opportunity pass him by. “Just a second. I really want to know what your type is, because I’ve heard the most dreadful rumors. Soothe your father’s fears, now would you.”
Luo Binghe starts to sound a bit desperate. “I don’t have to share this with you! Leave us alone!”
A voice makes itself known from behind a nearby door. “Binghe, that’s enough, isn’t it? It will be easier if your father is aware.”
“But Shizun!”
Shizun? The young man escaping the room just now is Shizun? “And you are?”
Tianlang-Jun recognises the façade of a man trying his best to look perfectly in control of himself, and not like he’s facing the father of the younger man he’s dating. “My name is Shen Yuan.”
So that’s Shen Yuan.
Tianlang-Jun is perplexed. He doesn’t look anywhere near as fearsome as rumours made him out to be. Plus, Tianlang-Jun isn’t interrupting a lust-fuelled hookup, but a wholesome tea date.
Something doesn’t add up. “So you’re Shen Yuan. You’re not what I expected. You don’t seem to be in the process of debauching my son, to begin with.”
“You! Shut up!”
Oh dear, he angered his son.
Shen Yuan, for himself, is thoroughly embarrassed. “Whatever you might have heard, pay it no mind. It’s not true, I guarantee you.”
“Of course it isn’t! Shizun is the nicest, kindest, best person I have ever met!”
Shen Yuan turns toward Binghe. “What did we say about calling me Shizun in public?”
…Maybe that’s more than Tianlang-Jun wanted to know about his son’s sex life.
“Shizun is Shizun. I don’t understand why he’s shy. He has nothing to be embarrassed about.”
“Can you please just explain to your father the situation before I die of mortification? Please?”
Tianlang-Jun watches in fascination as Luo Binghe’s anger melts like ice on a summer day under Shen Yuan’s supplications. “Whatever Shen Yuan wants.” He turns toward Tianlang-Jun with evident exasperation. Obviously, he feels like every second he’s not talking to his shizun is wasted time. “Shen Yuan has been my friend for years. We met online. We’re dating now, but for reasons we’re pretending we hate each other. Deal with it.”
Tianlang-Jun hears the facepalm in Shen Yuan’s voice. “Binghe, you can do better than this.”
Luo Binghe pouts. “I don’t want to. He knows enough, he can leave us alone now.”
Tianlang-Jun had no idea his son could pout, or be this petulant.
This visit turned out to be quite fascinating.
Too bad it’ll have to be cut short. While he would love to hear all about the current situation, he was honest in his desire for his son to be happy. Since things aren’t what they seemed, Tianlang-Jun can wait.
Or he can manufacture a better occasion. Namely, a private dinner with his son-in-law, with an invitation sent to his family house, maybe. How could he refuse then? His parents wouldn’t let him. Tianlang-Jun could then grill him in peace about his intentions toward his one and only son.
Then again, maybe not. It might get complicated, depending on their awareness of the situation.
To his private address, then. He suspects it won’t be hard to find.
Anyway. “It wasn’t my intention to intrude, so I will take my leave. Please, enjoy your date.”
Shen Yuan blushes bright red.
What a cutie.
Luo Binghe appears to think so too, if the besotted look on his face can be believed.
Ah, young love. Such a beautiful thing.
Tianlang-Jun can only wish them a more successful romance than his.

So after reading Knock Knock, Let the Devil in again (I can’t praise you enough with how good that story is ♥️) and I’m so invested in the the dynamic between Shikamaru, Sakura, and Kakashi!
And because I have a question (and I hope I’m not bothering you by asking this 😭) how do you think Kakashi and Shikamaru would react if Sakura either came back from a mission seriously injured or if they found her seriously injured from a mission?
Hiii, thank you so much for this ask, I’m always so ready to gush about these three!
When I read this ask, inspiration quite literally slammed into me and I churned this out in a sprint session. Oops.
Word Count: 2,126 words
I present to you a one-shot in the knock knock-verse.
It was too early in the day to function, yet Shikamaru was in the Hokage’s office bustling about, feeling only half-human as he guzzled on his third coffee. “Fuckin’ paperwork,” he muttered disdainfully at the sight of an ungodly pile marked with his name.
That had to violate some natural law. How this became Shikamaru’s routine was beyond him.
Once upon a time, he professed that his deepest wish was to lead a mediocre life. And here he was.
Tsunade showed up ten minutes late, visibly drunk and doing very little to conceal it. “Morning,” she tossed over her shoulder and made a beeline for the coffee machine.
“Hokage-sama,” Shikamaru said, studying the dark circles under her eyes and her ashen pallor. “You look …”
He clamped his mouth shut. Was it worth getting assigned a D-rank to let her know she looked like shit? Probably not.
“Save it kid, I know,” she waved a casual hand and slumped in her chair. “Couldn’t care less with the night I pulled.”
“Drinking again, Hokage-sama?” he inquired with polite interest.
“Ha,” she said. “I wish.”
When he raised an eyebrow, she elaborated, slumping even further in her chair. “Sakura,” she pinched the bridge of her nose. “They brought her back yesterday.”
Shikamaru’s heart sank. “Brought her back?”
“Yes, there was an ambush and she was badly injured—cracked every one of her ribs, that idiot. And the hospital was out of B-positive blood so Shizune had to sit the healing session out to donate blood. Nearly ran myself dry trying to keep her breathing…” Tsunade was scrubbing at her face but Shikamaru wasn’t listening anymore—he could barely hear her over the deafening roar of his heartbeat.
“Is she alive?” he demanded once he found his voice. “Is she going to be okay?”
“Yes, but she’s going to need plenty of rest—” the rest of her sentence remained a mystery for Shikamaru tore out of the room with a single-minded focus.
In the space between heartbeats, rationality was tossed out of the window. It left behind a desperate and half-crazed person—he needed to see her, to hear her heartbeat, to see the lively green of her eyes and he wasn’t going to rest until it happened.
He burst through the hospital doors undoubtedly looking like he’d escaped an asylum. The nurse he cornered shot him a bewildered look. “Sir, are you—” she began to say when he cut her off.
“Haruno Sakura,” he demanded breathlessly. “Her room. Where can I find her?”
“Sir,” she attempted again, sounding a little exasperated. “Haruno-san just underwent extensive surgery, she’s not allowed visitors, only family members can see her.”
Shikamaru pinned her with a no-nonsense look. “Akane-san,” he read off her name tag. “By order of the Hokage, I’m here to see Haruno Sakura.”
Akane shuffled nervously. “Do you have an official slip?”
He arched an eyebrow at her, as if to say ‘really?’.
“I-I might get in trouble,” her eyes shifted unsurely. “I need to put you down as a relative and you’re… what would I mark you down as, sir?”
It occurred to him a second later that he was being a total ass. But rationality had already fled. He was now a mess of frayed nerves.
The toddler bawling in the background wasn’t helping his case, and neither was the frantic husband demanding to see his wife at the reception, babbling about … oh.
Shikamaru turned back to the nurse, and before he realised what he was saying, he blurted. “Her husband. Mark me down as her husband.”
Akane blinked. “Oh.”
Shikamaru stared her down, daring her to argue with him. But she simply nodded and scribbled something on her chart. “Right. Of course. Follow me.”
As they stalked through clinical hallways, Shikamaru’s heart rose in a crescendo, worry and nervousness swirling in his chest in a toxic mix. What would he see upon reaching her room? Was she in pain? Was she even lucid? Gods, what if she was in a coma? What if she’d hurt herself so irreparably that it cost her career?
His mind raced with sickly thoughts until his stomach roiled and his face tinged green.
Akane stopped at room 217 and there she was.
“Oh gods,” Shikamaru whispered.
She was hooked to so many wires. Oxygen tubes and an IV and a heart monitor and tubes he didn’t even recognise. She looked frail and broken, too small amidst white sheets and beeping monitors.
He heard Akane quietly slip out of the room and was glad for it because his knees nearly buckled.
Sakura wasn’t awake. Hell, she didn’t even look alive, her face so pale where it wasn’t bruised blue and purple.
Numbly, his feet carried him to her side, his breath a short and rapid thing that barely saturated his lungs.
There was blood caked beneath her fingernails and in the cracks of her lips. His eyes stung faintly as they slid over to the heart monitor.
It was too slow.
“Oh god,” he said again, every cell in his body congested with fear.
He was afraid to even reach out and touch her, lest she broke apart under his fingertips. Delicately, ever so delicately and with trembling fingers, he ghosted a light stroke across the apple of her cheek.
“Sakura…” he said feebly, wishing her eyes would just open.
Except they didn’t. And her heart monitor droned on sluggishly in the background, crawling heartbeats that served more in adding to his anxiety than diminishing it.
It was beating. But it wasn't beating enough. What if it stopped beating?
Shikamaru wasn’t prepared. She wasn’t allowed to die. Not yet. Not ever. He didn’t care what laws governed this cursed world, this was Sakura, she was spring incarnated, and she wasn’t allowed to die.
His fingers curled around her hand, and he wished for the first time in his life that he could heal. That he could bleed strength into her the way she did to him.
It was getting difficult to breathe. What if she died?
What then?
Fuck, he hadn’t even told her he loved her.
His vision swam, rendering the room a splash of colours and pink. He couldn’t do this. He couldn’t breathe.
In the muddled daze of anxieties and fears, Shikamaru wished he had the foresight to grab Kakashi.
He’d never needed an anchor more than he did in that second.
*
Kakashi was having an incredibly shitty day.
His coffee machine broke down, he spilled tea over his mission report and he mixed a black shirt with his coloured laundry and now half of his clothes were beyond repair.
“Dammit,” he sighed, tossing his book aside. He couldn’t even read, busy as he was dwelling on his ruined laundry.
He took one dispassionate look at his soggy report and groaned. “What a mess,” he’d actually attempted to do this one on time. Served him right for breaking his routine.
Kakashi grabbed his weapons holster and stepped out for some much needed air. Maybe he should just turn in a tea-flavoured report—perhaps if he offered Tsuande a bottle of sake she’d make an exception and accept it.
He made a beeline to her office, remembering he was due for a debrief. But what he found upon his arrival wasn’t what he expected.
Tsunade was shouting to Shizune, clearly exasperated: “—and he just upped and left! I’m his Hokage, and he upped and left!”
“Maah…” Kakashi began unsurely.
Tsunade’s gaze cut to him. “Hatake, there you are,” she huffed. “I’m too fucking hungover for this. We’re one man down, I need someone to look over these reports.”
Kakashi frowned, finally noticing how empty her office looked. “Where’s Shikamaru…?”
“The idiot left,” Tsunade growled, raising goosebumps on his arms. “I told him I spent all night healing her, what did he think, that I’d leave her to die? Fucking hell.”
“Leave who to die?” Kakashi said, confused. “What happened?”
“Sakura happened,” Tsunade ranted tiredly. “They brought her back almost half dead, I’ve been patching her up for the better part of eight hours and this is how I’m rewarded.”
But Kakashi had stopped listening after ‘half dead’. Half dead? “Half … dead?” he echoed, his mouth dry.
No. This wasn’t happening.
This wasn’t happening.
“Yes,” Tsunade sighed. “But I operated on her and she’s going to be fine.”
Kakashi barely heard the words. His brain was a string of very adamant denial. No, no, no, no.
He didn’t want it to be true—all those years he had been certain, was so sure that it was him, that he was the reason the people he loved always died. That he was a curse to those he cared about.
Every person he loved came back in a body bag.
Fuck.
Kakashi turned tail, a sudden manic urge to see her rising unbearably in his chest. What if Tsunade was lying, what if Sakura wasn’t fine? What if she was fine, but she died anyway?
Fear pumped through his veins, rendering him dizzy. This was his worst nightmare come to life—how could he have forgotten that people, even those that could mend bones and heal what was broken, were so damn breakable?
His legs couldn’t carry him quickly enough.
He didn’t waste time interrogating the nurses for her whereabouts, he knew her scent like she was a part of him. It led him to her now, her unique sweetness tainted with blood and antiseptic.
Gods, he was going to be sick.
He nearly ripped the door off its hinges in his haste to get to her.
Shikamaru was already there, looking wrecked, looking worse than Kakashi had ever seen him. “Is she—”
He couldn’t even say it.
“They … they said they don’t know when she’ll wake up,” Shikamaru whispered hollowly.
Kakashi felt the ground crumbling beneath his feet. “No,” he whispered, leaning back against the wall when he teetered off balance.
His hip jarred against the doorknob but Kakashi barely registered the sting. Barely anything registered beyond the fear-terror-fear coursing through his veins like poison. “Please, no,” he said.
This couldn’t be happening again.
His father and Obito and Rin and Minato-sensei—hadn’t they been enough? Was Sakura going to be another name on the too long list of losses that haunted him?
He really was going to be sick. He clenched his jaw against the reflex, forcing his brain out of the dizzying tornado of anxieties. His gaze focused on Shikamaru, the only other person that mattered as much.
He didn’t look good at all, pale and shaking and appearing ready to fall apart.
The sight of him was strangely grounding.
Kakashi found his elusive strength, located his knees under him and was at his side in the next second.
“Shikamaru,” he rasped, clutching the other man’s arm.
“She looks dead,” Shikamaru whispered. “I … I …”
Words eluded him.
Kakashi tugged at his arm, drawing Shikamaru against him. He went without a fight, slumping against Kakashi’s chest like a puppet whose strings were cut.
“It’s going to be okay,” Kakashi lied, surprised by how much conviction he could bleed into it when it was for someone else’s benefit. “She’s going to be fine.”
Shikamaru shook in his hold, his shoulders minutely trembling. But just as suddenly, his body calmed down and he gripped tightly onto Kakashi’s middle. “What if she isn’t?”
“She will be,” Kakashi stressed because … anything else was not an option. “It’s Sakura. She punched a goddess in the face.”
Shikamaru let out a short, pained laugh against him. “Gods, don’t remind me; what a reckless idiot.”
“It was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen,” Kakashi confessed in a soft murmur against Shikamaru’s hair. He tightened his hold on him, drawing strength from the warmth of his body. “As beautiful as the two of you together.”
Lean fingers dug in his back. “I’m glad you’re here,” Shikamaru said sincerely. “I’m glad you came. Fuck, I think I’m gonna cry.”
“You can cry,” Kakashi soothed, sinking his fingers in lush, dark hair. “Hell, I might cry.”
Shikamaru let out a wet chuckle. “Yeah.”
Kakashi’s face bowed, nuzzling the side of his head as he took a shuddering breath. He clutched Shikamaru closely, his breath shallow and his heart a warbling mess in his chest.
He couldn’t think about if she died. He would die, then, if not from sorrow then from a broken psyche. It was easier to focus on the beeping machines and Shikamaru’s sure, thudding heart. Kakashi tuned in on every shuddering breath, his palm mapping his expanding ribs.
His focus narrowed down to his senses, to Shikamaru, to Sakura’s fighting, beating heart and prayed like he never had before.
She was going to be alright.
She had to be.
