the man grinned, an annoying feature ichigo had always hated whenever he and y/n got into disputes. "uh oh, did i make sweet kurosaki angryy" y/n said with fake innocence in his voice, pouting his lip and laying a finger on his chin to enhance his "sweetness".

"shut your mouth already" kurosaki growled, his hands clenched into fists as he watched y/n continue to piss him off. although it was sudden, y/n expected such a reaction, this was all apart of his plan of course. ichigo reached down and grabbed y/n by the throat and pulled him up so they could be eye to eye. "you fucking bitch, youre getting me all riled up for what? huh? do you get off of this?" y/n chuckled dryly, "and what if i do?". such a response threw ichigo off guard, causing him to receive a heavy punch to his cheek.

"dont tell me youre gonna kink shame me, kuro" ichigo steadily hoisted himself up with the help of the desks, his breath more heavy than before. "god do you ever stop talking" the ginger haired man whispered under his breath, barely audible but still loud enough to be caught by y/n's hearing. Depends. Like if he's fighting or eating then probably not but if he thinks you might get hurt then he will 100% attempt to catch you. Key word being attempt. Poor boy probably makes the fall 10x worse, like if you trip on one step you're suddenly falling down the entire flight of stairs with a weight on top of you. He will apologise though so at least there's that.

Zoro

He always catches you. Or prevents the fall in the first place. He tells himself it's so you're not unnecessarily out of commission for a fight but really he's a huge softie. Though he always catches you really ungracefully, llike there’s no princess carrying here, he's holding you upside down by the ankle with one hand fr. He scolds you every time too like- "Why do you never watch where you're going" or "Tie your shoes next time idiot", which you should hear as "I can't stand watching you get hurt". Cutie:(

Sanji

Oh you know he does. He lives for romance and what's more romantic than saving your beloved from certain doom (tripping on a rock). Oh he also does it in the most dramatic way possible, he'd rather throw himself to the ground underneath you then let you hit the floor, he's doing twirls, picking you up with one arm, occasionally will throw you in the air first so he can rearrange what he's holding. Menace tbh, like he's just obsessed with teasing you in any way possible.

Usopp

Another one who tries his best…tries🙁. He's always so dramatic about it too, he literally screams your name like you're in a horror movie and everyone is always like "WHAT'S WRONG?!" and Usopps just "Oh they tripped on a step". He either injures one of you in his attempt to catch you OR you both end up in the most compromising positions just as someone walks past . He goes so red trying to explain the situation while also trying to check if youre okay😭.

Franky

Oh every time and it’s smooth as hell every single time. Says super cheesy lines every time like “OWWWW GUESS YOU FELL FOR ME BABE”, and he gets sparkly eyed every time, he loves romance as a genre and finds it superrrrrrrr(😚) cute when something happens that matches a trope he's read. If he didn't catch you he'd probably panic and constantly apologise but just give him a kiss and he'll forget about it soon enough.

Brook

Catches you every time, really gently and really romantically. Instead of just full on catching you, he'll purposefully slow your momentum to minimise injuries in case his attempt at grabbing you fails because then you'd both fall and he'd rather not. Like if you trip into him then he'll pull you both into a delicate spin type of dancing and you're like huh??? He thinks its a really cute trait to be honest but it also makes him really worried about your safety so he likes to keep one hand on you at all times.

Jinbei

Catches you as often as he can, like he won't sprint across the ship to stop you from falling but as long as you're in his reach you will never hit the ground. And he always catches you really gently like you barely feel the impact so sometimes you won't even notice you've tripped until later when you see the scuff on your shoe or something. He really likes holding your hand to make sure you ‘keep your balance’.

Law

He doesn't want to look soft so he tries to force himself not to catch you for just harmless falls...yeah no that doesn't work. As soon as he sees you losing balance you hear that ever familiar room, shambles and then you're in his arms. If it's later in your relationship then he's a menace, he will use this to tease you, like "Oh. Looks like an angel fell into my arms" with this stupid ass smug smirk. He's just really obsessed with you.

Kidd

Catches you most of the time unless it's gonna be really funny. Also he catches you super awkwardly, like he's so obsessed with you but he never knows where to put his hands because hes not used to giving affection so it's like just in the most ungraceful ways. You are literally being held up by his arm around your thigh or something and you're like what the fuck and he's just stood there 🧍🏻‍♀️.

Killer

Prevents the tripping and catches you if necessary. But if you're too clumsy then he just starts getting huffy and hauls you up into his arms so there's no risk of you falling whatsover...and then you bang your head against the ceiling- He probably feels so bad if you get hurt because of him to be honest, he tries so hard to make you happy yk. Anyways at some point he just starts adding cushion to all the potentially harmful areas on the ship so even if you do fall it doesn't hurt.

Hey everyone! Not gune lie..I’m really very scared to be writing this 😂 I’m not an OG reader & only finished silver flames in Jan after being introduced to ACOTAR last year! So firstly…I’m sorry & I cannot imagine the sheer torture you have all had to endure waiting these long years! Fair fucks to all of you for being so patient! So anyway…as a normal reader that has no fucking idea about the other books/ series & was just genuinely delighted to have found the azriel BC thought tumblr……I’ve never been more shocked in my life than when I saw the fan fics about gwyn/azriel & evil theories about Elain 😂 truely shocked & really made me question everything I thought I read / the characters haha

But had on heart I really think people are so caught up in not wanting to see 3 sisters & 3 brothers together, that they’ve let that cloud their judgement. I really don’t get how people couldn’t want Elain & Azriel to be together…I truely believe that out of all the couples (including feysand) they have the most to bring to each other & the most beautiful love story to unfold.

The narrative between the two has been building since he spoke to elain about the song of wind & showed her the garden - all things he didn’t have to do. He didn’t have to bother with her at this stage. But no. Azriel…not her mate…was the one who was able to put a name to what she was going through… A SEER. I honestly think people underestimate how impossibly beautiful it is to have someone put a name or some sort of explanation to what you’re going through.l when you’re struggling. Azriel did that for Elain ie. No Elain you’re not crazy or insane, you’re a seer. So powerful. Everyone else didn’t bother to understand, and that’s the point. Even on a friend level. Lucien may have described her as beautiful & tugged on a rib etc but even on the basic level did he try to understand or figure out what was happening with Elain? No. And genuinely, I know it wasnt on purpose etc but the point is, the one person who went & did anything about Elain’s behaviour was azriel. No one asked him too. No one pushed. Even Elain herself felt so consumed with her loss of human life & visions, that she didn’t bother to figure it out. But azriel. Azriel did. Because he felt something for Elain.

And then it progressed and progressed and progressed, until we got the BC. And my god I was floored. Hand on heart I think Elain and azriel will be the most beautiful story of them all. I think they’ll defy norms, challenge expectations, grow each other’s power & share a bond so strong that it’ll be legendary in Phrythian. And I think they’ll suprise us all in the bedroom 😂

I don’t wana get into ships cuz I don’t know the books as well as others. But in my mind, it says it all that azriel didnt rush into the blood rite to save gwyn, or anyone else. He just left them to it. And untimely that is not what a mate does based on my readings of all the books. They fight, and they risk everything. Just like azriel did rescuing Elain.

Anyway these are my immediate thoughts & I’m sorry if it offends anyone/ I’ve got anything wrong! But honestly, after seeing the unexpected fanfics, I needed to vent. I never thought after my reading of the book & the BC that there was anyone else for azriel apart from Elain, and despite the bond, no one else for Elain apart from azriel. The beauty of life & death, the contrast of dark & light, the importance of choice, the story of a lonely boy in darkness falling in love with a girl that shines like the sun….Everything he was deprived of. Both quiet & underestimated, both listeners, both noticing each others feelings without having to speak, both beautiful but only open emotionally with each other?! Not to mention the possibility that they will defy others to be together!

I just don’t know how anyone couldn’t want them to be together 😔 so yeh safe say that I will be devastated if azriel & Elain don’t end up together! Thanks everyone for the fanfics etc it’s been so great to see!

Tim didn't even wanted to be robin in the first place, i mean ofc he wanted but the baby had many issues, so he looked for Dick and quite literally asked him to "pls be robin again, bat is angy and bein mean to people" by mean i meant HES PUTTING PEOPLE INTO EMERGENCY CARE, eventually i think Dick and Bruce got into troble with BANE and fucking alfred gave the robin suit to an UNTRAINED child and told him "Yo go save them chum" and Tim in his rational mind went to save 2 vigilantes as a child and untrained (alfred IS also the problem),

Duke is Adopted cause of his parents situation (they are jokerized) and he's a meta (also the only bat that does patrols at Daytime) and he was the lider of the ROBINS club, bro literally had a mini gang of people calling themself's Robins to help Batman (i havent read stuff in a while so FEEL FREE TO CORRECT ME)

on the tulpar:

1. anya tells swansea and daisuke about the assault pretty much immediatelly after the crash. the crew seals jimmy in his room with insulation foam until they get rescued.

( i was thinking about letting the crew kill j*mmy, however. he doesnt deserve that mercy. so he lives and is jailed forever. )

2. the crew dont know what to do about the baby. anya doesnt want to use pills for diy abortion, mainly because thats what jimbo told her to do and she doesnt want to listen to him.

in a dangerous twist of fate, she miscarries, because of stress and low bodyweight. its not a dramatic miscarriage, the fetus just dies in the uterus. anya suspects she miscarried, but doesnt tell the crew so they dont worry about her.

3. the crew gets rescued just in time- anya was on the verge of dying from the infection that started festering inside her from the miscarriage.

immediately after rescue:

anya and curly are rushed to the hospital. they got treatment on the rescue ship already, but that was only the bare minimum. pony express pays only for the bare minimum treatments.

curly is hooked up to a sci-fi mind reading communication device. its not perfect, but they manage to find out what happened. jimmy is arrested.

swansea:

after losing his job and breaking his dry streak, hes surprisingly okay. using his severance pay and his savings, he opens a small business, becoming a freelance electrician.

he doesnt drink as much as he used to, but he drinks regularly. he still buys himself sneakers on his soberversary though.

daisuke didnt even have to beg him too hard to be accepted as his apprentice, really.

daisuke becomes his other child, basically, he visits daisuke and regularly treats the him and the crew to meals, just like he does with his bio kids.

he also takes daisuke thrifting sometimes, judging his outfits on a scale of 1-10.

daisuke:

hes back to living with his parents.

daisuke really wanted to continue being swanseas apprentice, not just because he liked swansea, but because he really wanted to feel useful somehow.

he doesnt really vibe with most swanseas kids, but hes polite everytime they visit the shop where he helps swansea.

him and anya do gaming nights, often hopping on discord call in the late evening.

he still struggles with impostor syndrome, feeling like he didnt do enough for the crew of the tulpar.

curly:

he struggles with his mental health extensively. hes traumatized by being forced into being a bystander and his new disability keeps reminding him of that fact. his old crew encourages him to keep going though, and daisukes family pays for his therapy sessions.

he underwent many surgeries, mainly skin transplants (he still looks. uncanny though), rhinoplasty (more like. he just got a whole new nose altogether) and added eyelids (made his eye look smaller than before) and lips.

while this IS the Future, many of the cool 'solutions' to his disability are too expensive. pony express only paid for curlys wheelchair with a communicator and a cheap pair of prosthetic arms. the motor abilites of these arms are limited, as he cannot even write with them. theyre purely there just so he can operate his wheelchair by himself.

he wants to save money to buy new legs and arms, mostly just because he'd love to get back into weightlifting again.

after being fired, he mostly relies on disability pay and benefits.

he dropped many of his old friends, because they sympathised with jimmy, but he still has a close knit group of friends, with whom he lives.

he wanted to quit being a pilot long before the crash, and his old crew convinced him that he should pursue something new, to help him move on.

with the financial support of daisukes parents (daisuke begged them), curly enrolls in med school. he chose a proffession where he would help people.

thanks to this he grew even closer to anya.

anya:

tried to distance herself from the crew, because she felt like dead weight, but they didnt let her. daisuke talked her and curly into therapy.

she couldnt afford to try to get into med school again, and even then, she wasnt sure if she even wanted to do that anymore.

but, due to his disability, curly needed a notetaker and, well. the stars just aligned.

being his notetaker, anya gets to attend all the lectures with curly, helping him with his studies while she absorbs all the knowledge. this gave her the confidence she needed to decide to try again, sometine in the future.

asides from this, anya took up running again. she runs regularly, planning to run a marathon one day. she also gained a lot of weight after coming back, resulting in a mean bulk, gaining quite a lot of muscle.

sometimes she runs together with curly and daisuke, and curly also coaches anya in the gym on occassion.

the whole crew regularly meet up for brunches and birthdays. :)

I wouldn't be surprised if by the end of season 6, pretty much every bigger side character has been given a moment with Marinette that "disqualifies" them from counting as support system she can rely on because if Marinette isn't always put first and unconditionally supported, then that clearly means they don't count as any support AT ALL 😒 Fuck the fact that "support system" doesn't mean "worshipping minions" and that you're supposed to work WITH THEM to get yourself help. They aren't your enslaved care takers, but looking at Marinette's writing since s4, that ship has long sailed. I can already see it happening. Any pushback or disagreement is now gonna result in the person not getting to count as a person "Marinette can rely on".

You know, like Alya is disqualified now because of her being justifiedly upset with Marinette in Revelator and drawing a hard line at Marinette dragging her into THIS mess. That she can get her help again when Marinette stops expecting Alya to lie to and about Adrien.

Chat Noir is apparent still disqualified for everything, like always. Now the reason is "he wouldn't agree to lying to Adrien and could tell him behind her back instead of coddling Maribug for it", which right away resulted in him being deceived and used to further uphold a status quo Marinette literally knows he wouldn't support.

Nathalie I wouldn't be surprised could already be disqualified now with "El toro del piedra" because she didn't agree with Marinette on what to do with the letter and then left when Marinette and Adrien changed the topic and not getting back to her for the rest of the episode. I can see it so easily that this episode will be used as justification for why "Marinette didnt feel like she could have relied on Nathalie as support system 🥺😞"

Same as Kagami. Remember how in the London special, Bug Noire was pretty much begging for the freshly orphaned and crying ADRIEN to validate and take care of HER? And then Kagami drew the line and indirectly (but clearly) told Marinette to leave so SHE can take care of Adrien right now? Yeah, wouldn't be surprised if Kagami isn't even gonna get an episode that disqualifies her out of counting as Marinette's "support system". Kagami didn't put Marinette first in the London special, she could have realistically be the first one (alongside Chat Noir) who was written off.

And let's not forget Luka. There has been building up some tension between them again ever since s5 because Luka has finally started enforcing some boundaries and drawing some lines with her because her behaviour is still hurtful (it was seen best in Determination and while he was only there for a scene in El toro del piedra, it was used to show that Luka reacts hurt to Marinette making excuses to immediately leave instead of talking to him. Luka could easily get disqualified as support system (the way Marinette stans have now literally started arguing that he NEVER truly counted as such bc he hasn't been doing EVERYTHING for her) simply because he has expectations now for Marinette which make her too nervous again, so clearly "she can't truly rely on him in these hard times 😞"

Let's see where this season will take all this. I wouldn't be surprised at all if this is what they are going for. This is all Marinette's writing lead up to. Spoiled by how coddled she gets, so now she can't handle anything as support what isn't same as the 1000% one-sided "partnership" she has to nothing but her benefit with Chat Noir.

If there is any pushback or disagreements that don't result in people still giving in and putting her first, Marinette can't handle it.

Actually, I have seen some people theorizing that this season is going to have Lila isolating Marinette from everyone by ruining her reputation. So far, the only one “ruining” Marinette’s reputation is herself with no help from Lila. In fact, Lila is actually helping her fix her reputation when her Akumatizing someone helps Marinette save the day and fix whatever problem she caused in the episode. Like, if Sublime's mom hadn't gotten Akumatized, Marinette's, and even more so Ladybug's, reputation would have been in shambles after ‘Sublimation’.

Frankly, with the way Marinette is behaving in such a morally abhorrent way that even her most stalwart allies are questioning her, it really seems that the writers are aware that she's doing something inexcusable. And, like, that's so weird, considering how much they value Marinette being the one that gets validated at every turn, and that's why I think the whole “dismantling” of Marinette's support network might be for that purpose specifically; to retroactively vindicate her.

There is a chance that the goal here is to isolate Marinette to win over audience sympathy again, to make it seem like Marinette only made poor decisions because she was “left alone” to stew in her negativity by everyone, therefore blaming the other characters for Marinette’s misdeeds. Some Maripologists are already using ‘Revelator’ to retroactively justify Marinette with claims of “clearly Alya would hate her if she knew the truth and that’s why Marinette lying about Gabriel makes perfect sense!” because being mad at Marinette over her abusing her boyfriend and wanting her to fix it is the same as hating her. Also, like, maybe Marinette's friends should drop her if they found out she was abusing her boyfriend.

i think people are underestimating how exactly yuuji must've been feeling when megumi got possessed by sukuna cause like, everyone is underestimating yuuji's whole dynamic with megumi and how strong it is. like this is gonna be from a shipping stand point but like even then. its so prominent throughout the manga cause like

imagine you ate a crust dusty demon finger to save this one guy just because but then turns out you werent supposed to do that and now that you did youre gonna get executed but this guy asks his extremely powerful teacher (*cough* FATHER FIGURE *cough* sorry what?) to save your dumbass and then later on down the line you get killed at a detention center in front of him and learn that he didnt have a reason for saving you he just thought that you were a good person and because of that he didnt want you to die. it was ultimately selfish but it was part of the reason why you ended up living. THEN you get brought back to life and youre back together again and youre hanging out and having fun and then BOOM you learn he has a sister thats been in a coma for a while and because of something that sister may or may not be dead sooner or later. then you go to some bridge or smth to fight off curses and you find him SLEEPING on the ground with another crusty ass demon finger in his hand and you think hes almost DEAD. then later on you figure it out that 'hey everything started happening because i ate that finger' and the demon in your head laughs at you because of it but youre all like but dont tell the guy who saved me please and the guy who saved you tells yours lesbian bestie about the finger and goes 'btw dont tell him please' ANYWAYS stuff happens shibuya the demon inside you ends up basically nuking entire ENTIRE city (possibly more) and youre all depressed and you got a pep talk from the rock but that doesnt really help you and then some depressed emo ass kid was sent to kill you and skip forward and the same guy who saved you first then tells you not to take the blame for nuking the city all by yourself because he saved you and therefore he should also get some of the blame and he tells you how you shouldnt give up all by yourself. NOW TIMESKIP CAUSE THIS IS LONG anyways said guy has got attachment issues and doesnt wanna be separated from you and anyways NOW HES BEING POSSESSED BY THE DEMON THAT WAS IN YOU!!?!??!?

And din and reader are being chased by pirates or something like that, and the reader takes over flying while din goes off to do something, and all of a sudden their doing Barrel rolls and death drops making all the cargo fly everywhere (it would be hilarious if this is new information to din and he didnt know reader could do this)

You could tell he was running from the sound of blaster fire. Another failed bounty, you could only assume, for the third time in a row.

Things weren't looking so good for the two of you. Your partnership with the bounty hunter started with Grogu, getting him to the Jedi safely, and with Grogu gone now, things were tense. You didn't know where your partnership stood anymore, what it meant now that the mission was done.

You bring the engine to life with the flip of a few switches absentmindedly.

When you heard the clamoring of boots against steel, you shot up from the pilot seat and took your place in the co-pilot seat. Din came in seconds later, sliding into the pilot seat and getting the ship in the air.

“Hurt?” you muttered, fingers twitching in your lap as you await an answer.

He didn't respond, but his fingers curled around the wheel.

“I don't think they're following us. I’ll be back.”

He slipped out of the chair, switching into autopilot, and the door with a slight limp, disappearing down the ladder.

You sighed. He always lets you patch him up, at least before. Was it really time to move on? Was this his way of telling you he didn't need you anymore?

In your wandering thoughts, you failed to notice the tailing ship until shots blasted past the wings of the ship. Your mind and body jolted into action, slipping into the captain's chair.

Sharp, calculated maneuvers had the ship diving and twisting to avoid being shot.

You could hear the clamor of things in the cargo hold being thrown around, including Din. He was cursing, grunting, being shoved against the cramped walls of the hold.

Eventually, you managed to lose the pirates once again, settling back into the pilot's seat and hearing Din clamor back up the ladder into the cockpit.

“What the hell were you doing?” Din snapped, spinning your chair around.

His tone made you bristle. “Saving our asses. Those pirates were on us,” you retorted.

“Yes, but your piloting was reckless. You should've called me.”

“Sorry if I'm a little rusty,” you huffed. You hadn't been able to practice your piloting skills since Din always flew. It was his ship after all, and you were always busy with Grogu to chip in. “If you don't like my piloting, then I'll go. Seems like lately, you don't need my help with anything. So, what am I still doing here?”

There it was. The topic you'd been too afraid to broach. Your throat tightened, and suddenly you realized the fatigue in your muscles pulling your body to the ground.

You're glad you don't have to see his face. The silence is enough. You had to go.

“I'm going to bed. I'm sure you’ve got this handled.” You left the pilot seat and brushed past him.

Sleep didn't come easy which was why you could hear Din approaching your cot. He paused at your bedside, and you could feel his gaze on your back.

You turned over and looked at him with narrowed eyes, waiting for him to speak up.

“I didn't know you knew how to pilot,” he started, easing down onto one of the crates. You picked up on the faint hiss he let out and the way his body slumped to one side.

“Well, you don't know a lot about me.” You didn't mean for it to come out so harsh, but maybe it's a truth the both of you needed to hear. When you reflected on your journey together, neither of you had ever been open to one another. As someone who only ever had themselves to rely on, being vulnerable was foreign to you. Now you were losing Din because of it.

Just when your chest started to constrict, he finally said just enough for you to hear, “I'd like to.”

Your eyes widened, your mouth moving to speak, but the words were lost. In reality, you didn’t know how to say you wanted that too.

“I don't want you to leave. We… work well together,” he confessed.

You sat up, heart hammering in your chest as you stared at him, and nodded. “Okay, I'll stay.”

There were a lot of things the two of you had to work on, but you were glad this wasn't the end.

• Weeding through the security to make sure it was light for the escape. She met up with Alucare and a grew of blue haired twins- Later learning they were The Buggy Twins.. Which sounded familiar but she didn't want to think too much on it.

• The teenagers managing a narrow escape from the Marines and setting off to the sea- truthfully without a true plan and only wanting to save their own asses-

The scene I remember quite well is one in witch LWJ is fighting with one of the Wen heirs (don't remember who, not WQ or WN) and when the Wen is going to attack LWJ, he sees the red ribbon that WWX gifted to LWJ. This means that LWJ is WWX's love (and fiance maybe?) so the Wen decided not to attack LWJ and it's killed.

Long after Nathan thanked the crowd of fans that came to their rescue when they most needed them, long after they celebrated having survived the end of the world..

Toki gazed at the blurry line in the horizon, the little dots moving further away from his line of sight. Saving the world was no ordinary task and, after celebrating their survival, the crowd of fans scattered away. Most likely to look for their loved ones or find whatever was left of their homes.

Meanwhile, Dethklok took over different spots of their destroyed ship for contemplation. It made sense, that after such a big event that almost cost them their lives, they would want some time alone to process.

That wasn't really Toki's case, though. It's not that he didn't care about what happened, he did. And he did a lot. It's just that the euphoria of being alive clouded everything else.

Maybe the grief would settle on later.

While wandering around the ship, Toki found Skwisgaar sitting on a big piece of bolder. Amazingly, Skwisgaar had retrieved his guitar and was mindlessly fretting. He was right in the middle of the stage they had played the Song of Salvation at. It almost looked poetical.

Smiling, Toki walked up to him. "Whats you playings?" He asked, sitting right next to him.

Skwisgaar blinked hazily, as if awoken from a long dream. "I don't knows. Whatevers on my mind, I guess."

Toki hummed. "Hows you feelings?"

"Whats? Ams you a docktors now?" Skwisgaar snorted. "Ams fines. Yous?"

"Mm..." Toki watched the sky. By now it was clear and dazzlingly blue, the sun slowly crawling its way up. "Ams happies."

"You ams?" Skwisgaar raised an eyebrow.

"Yous not?" Toki asked back.

Skwisgaar shrugged, returning to this guitar. Expression his emotions had never been forte, something that had brought Toki much grief over the course of his relationship.

Today, it was endearing.

"Hey, Skwisgaar?"

"Whats?"

"Woulds you lets me tries somethings?"

Skwisgaar raised his gaze, skeptical. "Whats dats supposeds to means?"

Toki dragged himself closer. "Can you lets me tries?"

Skwisgaar's brows furrowed and deep blue eyes studied Toki's face with severity. When he didn't find an answer, his gaze seemed to soften and his guard lowered too.

Encouraged, Toki tentatively cupped the side of his face. Skwisgaar didn't pull away, didn't tell him off, only drew in a shaky breath, eyes widening at the touch. It was reminiscent of his reaction when he realized Toki was carrying him, like he didn't know how this came to be.

Toki chuckled fondly. Did he seriously not know?

"Whats ams so funny?" Skwisgaar wanted to sound accusatory, yet came out very unsure instead.

"That..." Toki couldn't stop smiling. "I always wanteds to do this. I just didnts know until todays."

He could tell, from Skwisgaar's face, that there was still the thinnest layer of denial in his eyes. That he could figure out what Toki meant but chose not to. That there was still a gap between realization and assumption.

And he was more than ready to close it. "This." He whispered against Skwisgaar's mouth, his vision darkening.

Toki pressed their lips together and the weight of his actions dawned on him like cold water. Skwisgaar wasn't moving, wasn't reacting, and he wondered if maybe he had gotten it wrong. The tremor inside his chest was crystal clear, but what about Skwisgaar?

Hesitantly, Toki pulled away and slowly opened his eyes to check on Skwisgaar. He didn't know what to think when he found Skwisgaar staring back at him with a half-lidded gaze. It was undecipherable, the expression he had on his face.

Then again, when had Toki been able to decipher him?

Skwisgaar clicked his tongue in frustration before mashing his mouth against Toki's.

It was like the Dethlights all over again, tenfold stronger. Memories of their relationship flooded his mind, from the joyful early days of joining Dethklok up to the progressive distance between them in later times. His heart swelled with each of them, some of them forgotten until now, but all of them precious. All of them meaningful now.

It was like every piece of his life had fallen into place. The puzzle finally complete.

When they broke it off, Toki could feel the electricity coursing through them, like when they first played together. They just gazed at each other in silence for a while, taking it all in, until Skwisgaar started chuckling.

"W-Whats so funnies?" Toki squeaked.

Skwisgaar shook his head, still chuckling. "Just when I t'inks the days cants gets craziers."

Toki wanted to snap a comeback but his brain seemed to be on standby, his eyes fixated on Skwisgaar's lips. "Yeah?"

Skwisgaar turned to him and, despite the exhaustion, it was like life had breathed onto him anew. He was glowing. "Anyt'inks else to surprise me wif?"

Hypnotized, Toki placed a hand on the side of Skwisgaar's neck. "I...can..." He mumbled, like a moth drawn to lamplight.

He only barely saw Skwisgaar moving the guitar away from his lap, though he did feel the soft lips brush against his. But, just to be sure, he wrapped an arm around Skwisgaar's waist to bring him closer. In turn, Skwisgaar surrounded Toki's neck into an intimate hug while they kissed.

And like that, in the aftermath of the almost-end-of-the-world, Toki and Skwisgaar finally recognized their love for each other.

i just finished the dragon prince, and i have so many thoughts. mostly disappointing.

first of all, i don’t think that the showrunners were prepared for the show to be this long, i felt like all the arcs and whatnot were reallyyyy drawn out, and honestly, they built up this entire world just to focus on three max regions? like huh? there is so much magic and different elves that could’ve been explored, but it still focused on the same characters. i really would’ve just liked to see the show move on with uniting the elves and dragons back together and whatnot, but the entire focus was on aarvaros, which is fine, but i felt like his motivations were underwhelming.

1. karim was actually so useless omg. i understand why they introduced him the first time but honestly after he got banished, that entire arc was useless when he failed TWICE. there were so many long, drawn out scenes focusing on him and the whole mini arc where he and his wife were having a baby and whatnot, AND BRO STILL DIDNT CHANGE. WHAT WAS THAT FOR. stop wasting my time omggggg. but it was super hilarious to see him get crushed by aarvaros.

2. the power of love and friendship: look. i get it, this is a kid’s show and love is supposed to overpower all, but it doesn’t really make sense in this universe because they touch really serious topics and they are not afraid to do that. i don’t understand how ezran was manipulated into forgiving his father’s literal murderer, but that actually pissed me off so much. ik they saved it at the end with harrow being implied to be alive, but im so over it.

3. death of callum’s character: i love raylum, but i abandoned ship after the runaan arc in s7. all of callum’s actions were dictated by his love for rayla, which can be cute or whatever, if he didn’t fucking BETRAY his brother. the fact that he betrayed ezran made me so upset. this may be personal, but i would never let romantic love get in the way of an invaluable sibling relationship that has lasted for years longer than raylum ever has. the fact that callum ignored ezran at the council meeting and acted so uninterested in those affairs was so out of left field and really soured my perspective on his character.

4. aarvaros’ motivation: okay so his whole thing was that he was mad that the council killed his daughter, which makes sense. but if the council was in charge of the cosmic order of all things…couldn’t they just kill aarvaros?? also, why is he so persistent? like at the end he dies but he’s gonna come back in 7 years, but literally why? just to cause chaos? to see claudia? bro quite literally lives in the stars, choose another place to wreak havoc on.

5. runaan and kotolis: literally why the fuck would he return there. he just got out of a curse, which took years to break, and he just agrees with rayla that he needs to go back to kotolis? without protest? this guy quite literally killed the king and he just doesn’t seem to know that fact. i’m thinking maybe the writers did it to put a wedge into ezran and callum’s relationship or to to progress raylum? idk

6. claudia: RAHHHH i actually loved her sm but then by the end of s7 i actually just wanted her to die bro. she literally deserves it. i would’ve actually liked to see claudia either kill soren in the end or soren kill claudia. the show really wants her to be this evil person but then totally ignores that and plays the trauma card. pick a lane dude. also there was literally no reason for her to join aarvaros but she did anyway but the show for some reason kept hinting she was gonna change. i also honestly don’t think she ever cared about terry, which is sad bc he is such a sweetheart.

7. elf apocalypse: chat if there was a cosmic elf, the most powerful being in the universe that’s immortal and WILL come back in less than a decade, while he killed literally all the most powerful beings on your planet, i would just take the L atp honestly 😭😭😭😭 like there is quite literally nothing you could do that would stop him 😭😭😭

1. viren’s arc: i think that he might be the best character in the entire show. his ending and his struggles into madness were really well done and his guilt was portrayed well. the whole thing where he wrote out his backstory to soren and then burned it AGHHHHH so good. his sacrifice at the end was such a good way to complete his journey as a father and as a mage. viren my goat i love you.

2. ruthari reunion: even though i do have my gripes on how it was done, their reunion was SOOOO worth it. the angsty speech ethari gave when he thought runaan was a ghost- dude i ain’t even lying when i say i started tearing up. they are actually so cute together and deserve the world.

3. jamaya wedding: self explanatory. WORTH THE WAIT I LOVE THEM

4. soren and corvis: though i think they are just friends, i see why people ship them. their interactions are so perfect and funny.

5. rayla choosing runaan: though it was a difficult decision, im so glad rayla chose runaan because he raised her and he is her true family. love their family dynamic.

Yewn

“Do you ever think we might see them…?” Young spider asks his sister at arms, Yewn. The young girl thinks about the question and shakes her head. “I don't think so, they are dead for a long time. It is like Jake said, good riddance” she replies. 

Both lay down on top of the old lab shack, staring up at the night sky. 

“They were bad guys, and killed a lot of the na’vi…” Spider says, convincing himself of certain feelings. 

“Exactly. So stop thinking about our dads, I bet they won't even care if they do come back from the dead” 

“Kid, you won't last another day if you don't eat, '' Lyle Wainfleet says. He bends down looking rather tired and slightly annoyed. 16 year old yewn just stared at him as if he was the worst shit on the entire planet. To which he is in her eyes.

“Fuck off” was all she says time and time again.

“Yewn-”

“Shut up, don't call me that. You have no right to call me that!” yewn yells at him in anger. A lot was happening in such a short time. Her friends were attacked and held hostage, went to help, spider’s mask broke, stayed behind to help him, only to be taken and be separated from him.

The room is cold, colder than the labs. Everything was so lifeless. She hated it.

But there is nothing more she hates, than the man, or dreamwalker in front of her.

“If you don't eat, you will die, '' Lyle tells her again. And again, yewn just hisses at him.

“Good, I would rather die than confess anything to you or that old bitch!”

Lyle rolls his eyes, hopefully quaritch has better luck than him.

Her plan was cut way too short. Spider took the lead in showing the recoms how to climb, run, and jump through the big vines and floating mountains. Spider was a true expert in that field, so yewn stayed a little more behind. By adding more pressure to the weak points of the vines, the goal was to tear some down but the recoms would step on them by their own body weight. Spider was doing the same, the plan was to have them all step in a weak vine so that they can fall to their deaths. 

Obviously that didn't work. 

Lyle was quick to catch what she and spider were doing. While he did not report to Quaritch what they were quietly doing, lyle took it upon himself to straighten the kids out. 

“If you want us dead, it will take a lot more than that” he tells Yewn. And yewn would take note of it. Next time, she will do better. 

“Getting the hang of it now” Lyle says as he flies on his ikran with yewn. The girl missed flying up high in the sky. The thrill of doing amazing tricks, how nete-

No, while Yewn is still in the human's custody, no thoughts of him will appear in her mind. Anything can happen and they can use whatever she accidently shares against her. 

Besides, there is something else occupying her mind and her full attention. 

“Come on bro! We have to get them, they are still on the ship!” Lo’ak pleads to neteyam. It didnt take much to convince the older brother, nodding eagerly, both head deeper to the ship to find their friends. All the while trying to avoid enemies all around. 

Quietly they climb up some pipes and hide, lo’ak points downwards to see spider and yewn being shoved somewhere. 

“We get it! We are going, fucking bastards” spider cusses at the humans behind him. Him and yawn look really annoyed, but oddly compliant. Taking the chance, the brothers jumped and began to attack the humans. 

Yewn and spider were surprised to see them but quickly catched on. Fighting as well, the four managed to take down the humans around them. Taking the weapons, neteyam, lo’ak, spider and yewn were armed and ran for the edge of the ship. 

“Come on, come on! We are almost there!” neteyam yells, shoving yewn forward until bullets were being shot. 

“GO GO GO!” spider yells, he and lo’ak jump first into the sea. But yewn and neteyam couldnt in time. 

“Yewn get back over here!” 

Neteyam turns to see a false avatar, his gun pointing at him. 

“I won't tell you again, come here now!” the fake shouted. Neteyam looks down and sees yewn shaking. Was it fear? Hesitance?

She was close to taking a step forward but neteyam stopped her. 

Yewn looks up at him, ready to cry. 

“Are you insane!? Lets go, he won't hurt you again” neteyam burgers her, shifting her closer to the edge but yewn fights back. “No no! You don't get it! I can't just leave him!” Yewn shouts. Her fear and desperation growing. 

“Yes you can, he hurt you!” neteyam shouts back. But yewn only looks back at lyle, their eyes making contact. Yewn knows he is silently pleading to go to him. That part yewn is afraid of. To go back to lyle means to go back to those horrid conditions the general had her go under. 

“No! I just cant leave him like this-” 

“And why the hell not?!” 

“BECAUSE HE IS MY DAD!!”

“Hey lyle-” 

“You know, you can call me dad if you like…” recom lyle informs yewn in an awkward way. Yewn looks up at him, almost in a disapproving look. There was a few seconds of silence before Yewn walked on the other side of the room, not continuing what she was going to say. 

Lyle walked over to see what she wanted to tell him. “Hey, im sorry, I thought that it-” 

“Would be easier for me? Think again, you are just forcing yourself. I will never call you dad. You don't deserve that title. Not now, not ever fuckface” Yewn states with disgust in her tone. Lyle sighed, hanging his head low. Just when he thought where was progress, he took 5 steps back.

“He is my dad….and I just cant leave him….” Yewn cries out to neteyam. This was massive news to him. But he concludes that staying in the massive prison was messing with yewns mind. Making her think things that are not true. 

If they weren't in such a situation, lyle would hug her and say sweet words in her ear. Finally yewn accepted him, but now there is a problem that lies between lyle and yewn. Just one bullet should be enough to take down that savage boy of Sully’s. 

“YEWN!” he calls to her, his daughter turns to look at him, her eyes distraught, not knowing what to do. 

“Please yewn, we are so close! Come on, he is not your dad! He is dead! I won't let you be surrendering to him or any evil sky demon!” Neteyam shouts loud enough for Lyle to hear. And it is ticking him off. 

Neteyam guide yewn close to the edge, their hearts racing. To calm her as he leads her to the edge, he places his hand on her shoulder, urging her more to jump. Neteyam can finally save her!

Yewn was looking down at the sea, her ears ringing. Could she go? Could she leave lyle and-
