But simultaneously!!!!! We have this subtle plot building of fakir, fully aware the girl has feathers, falling in love with her! And it’s so slow it doesn’t come to the forefront until the very end and AAAAAAAAA the amount of times Duck laments how no one would care about her as a bird meanwhile fakir looks at her with the most adoring eyes shut up!! Shut up literally shut up!!!! People will love you for the things you hate about yourself and you’ll have no goddamn idea because you’re so wrapped up in how YOU see yourself!!!!! HE LOVED THAT LITTLE BIRD MORE THAN SHE HATED HERSELF

also I need to underline just how awfully scary zarina's acting skills are because she can become a completely different person. different mannerisms, different dialect, different fashion, different perfume/scent, different shine in her eyes. there is no shame, no pride, no embarrassment over what must be done. if it's for survival and for her own goals? she'll pretend like it's real and make it seem too real.

she can fully "erase her own self" (not exactly, but lie/act and make it a bit too real) to play a role because she's a perfect liar since... it's connected to her apathy and her 'void' in her emotions and her survivalist mentality that was brought up from her youngest days.

however, despite this ability to act so well, she has the strongest understanding of herself, her core and that's why she will never lose herself in a character/personality she plays.

IT'S ESSENTIAL TO UNDERLINE, that zarina can be deeply unsettling ESPECIALLY in verses where it's... more slice of life because her issues aren't disappearing and her skillset isn't change too much in terms of acting. she's terrifyingly good at it. so in verses where slice of life is more important, she still has the same criminal family background that's left unknown either forever or if you are someone she clearly trusts/wants to know like if ur her lover or smth. so that's why like... haikyuu? same shit. she's scary. she's UNNATURAL. that's NOT changing no matter what genre of fandom I'm throwing her in.

zarina remains a damn fucking scary bitch no matter age or genre. she is still unsettling in her own way and honestly would love some characters to be like 'you're fucking scary what the fuck is wrong with you' because some ay call her view of life as 'edgy', she simply says that it's her upbringing and that's how it is. if you consider criminal world 'edgy' well damn? good for you that you've never been a part of it or saw scary shit since you were a kid.

Imagine how hurtful it must have been for Crowley to see Gabriel, the person who literally took an active part in the process of traumatising the man he loves into the mindset that he cannot be happy and free, get a happy ending. To see the man, who was one of the reasons Aziraphale haven't even acknowledged their relationship for such a long time, because they were on "opposite sides". The man who was one of the reasons they couldn't be together, even as friends, for 6000 years. The man who wanted to execute Aziraphale with a smile on his face and "shut your stupid mouth and die already" as his "goodbye". Seeing this man getting what Crowley has always dreamt of: being able to run away with the person he loves, leave Heaven and Hell behind and just be together with his beloved - in Soho or on Alpha Centauri, literally wherever, because "Heaven is wherever Beelzebub is". Crowley seeing Gabriel get it so... so effortlessly, while he has worked for it so long, nearly died because of it and still haven't been able to get that, to get the happy ending and sever all the connections with Heaven and Hell. It must have hurt like hell (most literally).
