I have, and I did like it, but I dunno if I vibe with it as much as other people seem to do. TBF I've never loved the live action Sonic movies, they're decent enough but definitely not my favorite piece of Sonic media. That being said, this was probably my favorite out of the movies so far? They have improved a lot since the first one which is great to see.

One thing I think the movie did great was the action scenes, the coreography and animation was so fun and impactful and incredibly exciting to see! I also think the movie did a good job on selling us on Shadow's and Maria's friendship in a short period of time, that little montage of the two of them just doing a bunch of silly goofy shenanigans was really endearing. The wholesome innonsence of it all makes Maria's death hurt way more.

EXTRA spoiler, but arguably one of the things that made me the most excited in ghe movie was the post credit scene where Amy showed up LMAOOOO I've been waiting for her to show up. And I exepcted Metal Sonic to show up sooner or later in these movies, but I didn't expect a whole army of them haha but that seems like a fun idea.

i don't often stray from the fandom theme of this blog but. this holiday season, if you are in charge of putting up christmas lights in a public space (i.e. absolutely anywhere outside of your private home where nobody else can see them), SET IT TO LITERALLY ANY OTHER MODE THAT ISN'T STROBING OFF ITS TITS. there WILL be some poor bastard passing by them who WILL get dazed, hurt, disoriented, violently sick, collapse into a seizure, or all of the above. jesus christ this isn't that hard to keep in mind.

The vulnerability of all the rituals that the humans in the dsmp make for Dream. He's am animal born God, he doesn't naturally have rituals or offerings, or even clothes! But they make them for him

Tommy and Wilbur spend months studying all sorts of Gods, tearing their practices apart and making them Dream's. Everyone finds their own way to honor Dream and feed him devotion in a way that they didn't need to. None of this is natural to him, none of this is needed. But they still do it. They still write prayers and make up dances and make hand made plates to hold fruit and milk and honey.

When Dream shows up dressed in embroidery and gold that's Tommy pulling him aside to dress him in the clothes he made. It's all handmade, it's all trust, it's all domestication and care and so much love. It's all human instinct.

It didn’t take long for her Excalibur to arrive. V’s optics traced its hovering form at the building’s edge, hatch open and waiting, but she knew that from Jackie’s perspective, it was completely invisible. In the distant skyline, the blinking lights of a Trauma Team AV-4 loomed closer, cutting through the night as it raced toward Konpeki Plaza. They couldn’t afford any unnecessary hesitation.  “It’s here,” she told him. She’d already removed her shoes, and she held one in each hand as she readied herself. “Jump exactly where I jump. Ready?” Jackie’s eyes darted to hers, then focused past her to the open air beyond. He adjusted his grip on the Relic’s box, shifted one leg back, and put his weight onto it. A 1,500 foot drop below them, and he had only her lead to guide him. And she’d been pointing a gun at him not even ten minutes ago. Quite the roller coaster of a night.   “All right,” he said, “Ready.” As she bent her knees, she felt the charge build in her fortified ankles—an electric tension winding tight, ready to spring. Then she leaped.
