I need to know more about how the Brotherhood views Macaque. They seem to value DBK as an equal but only Wukong and Peng seem to really acknowledge Macaque. Macaque is seen (at the very least) as close friend of Wukong's, if not Wukong's best friend. Wukong took the time to reassure him that they'll still end up eating peaches together like they planned when Macaque didn't seem convinced of the plant to take over heaven. And Wukong was the one to single out Macaque and tell him that the two of them would be taking on heaven together, like any other adventure.

Peng, on the hand, seems to take every opportunity he has to belittle Macaque by frequently calling him weak and almost dismissing any value Macaque holds. Neither Azure nor Yellow Tusk really react to Peng, neither telling him to stop or encouraging him when Peng insults Macaque. When Azure recounts happy memories with MK, Macaque isn't seen feasting with them, but DBK and the others are.

DBK doesn't seem to acknowledge Macaque either but they don't seem close as neither of them reference each other or visit each other since post-JTTW.

DBK was probably semi-content to leave the Brotherhood after falling in love with PIF and creating a new family. Maybe still having some kind of positive or neutral relationship with Wukong up until Wukong trapped him under a mountain.

Macaque may have left because he had no friends in the Brotherhood after Wukong was captured. They were probably Wukong's friends, not Macaque's.

What Sydney wants, Sydney gets!

Sydney really told Carmy that she didn’t want to share his focus and minutes later, Carmy agreed that it shouldn’t be shared. Like WTF? This man had a whole girlfriend but he agreed that his focus shouldn’t be shared.

It is also interesting to me that in the same episode, Tina asked Carmy to focus but we can see that Tina wanted him to focus on the restaurant while Syd wanted him to focus on HER. Also notice that Carmy was busy signing sorry to Sydney and he didn’t respond to Tina when she asked Carmy to focus, but when Sydney said that she doesn’t want to share his focus, Carmy responded immediately to Sydney saying, ‘’I understand.’’ Again, WTF?

From Sydney asking his full focus to them screwing under the table, their behaviors in these scenes were not normal at all.

Cause violet only got 6 months of training… if it was always her plan to keep her alive bonded to a dragon surely she would’ve forced her to train more right? When did she realize she would be killed as a scribe….And did she ask Xaden to look after her once she started training? When she passed the exam?

The way they’re refusal to allow a person to grow/change/evolve over the years is fascinating and needs to be studied. I have so many questions like:

Have you ever done something you regretted?

Have you ever had to hide parts of your identity before?

Have you ever said something inappropriate and we’re not called on it?

Do you you feel guilt about past actions?

Have you ever had a hard conversation with a friend where you had to listen to their grievance?

Do you think you are infallible and incapable of making mistakes?

Have you ever forgiven someone in the past who has hurt you and are they still in their life?

Has anything ever shaken your viewpoint on someone or a situation that. used you to doubt your “rightness”

Have you ever routed for problematic dark heroes or antagonists like Kylo Ren, Anakin Skywalker, Tony Stark, Tyler Durden, Erik Killmonger

Do you really believe that some people are incapable or unworthy of redemption? Or is this just a special circumstance for a person named Tommy is getting in the way of your ship?

Would you be willing to change your point of view if presented with excellent storytelling?

The disproportionate hate towards Tommy Kinard and the refusal to accept that someone could have genuine, meaningful character development off-screen that is still valid and real is a symptom of cancel culture and the internet’s general refusal to allow a person to become more than their past failings but some of y'all aren't ready to hear that

Columbo and the Knight (1984)

put me in the universe where Columbo ran through the 1980s and had a crossover episode with Knight Rider. I think they deserved it, and I am not just saying that because they're my two favorite Old Shows. @telebeast wrote a little fanfic blurb about it and I HAD to visualize it into a comic (which is also the longest comic I have finished thus far at five pages...), so writing credit goes to them.

confirming the Ethiopian wolf pollination hypothesis seems so straightforward in theory, like just erecting anti-wolf barriers around some of the hot poker plants and seeing if those get pollinated at the same rate as the other ones, but also I feel like it could be some lab’s 6 year long project that ends up in Nature and answers more questions about wolf dessert time than I could ever think to ask. and also it would give more beautiful photos of wolves between 3 seconds and 1 hour into passionate nectar indulgence. so hopefully with the media attention they’re getting they can do that
