there it is, the connection between the themes of the first two Librarians seasons, the Arthurian stories are real the way they are in the The Librarians universe because the same process that makes Fictionals did its work on history "enhancing" whatever the truth was because of the stories making them a bootstrap paradox where the history literally became (and not just in our perception) the way the stories show it because of the stories

If the show was still going (I don't know what topics previously addressed The Next Chapter will cover) and accepted specs I would have written something connected to some other public domain after-the-fact-addition (like the Dark Young of Shub-Niggurath or something) to not only imply that that being a case of the whole Fictional-belief-being-strong-enough-to-retcon-history/mythology would mean that's true for Arthuriana but also that (without taking away the show or the actors as this doesn't make the stories go away, perhaps it'd make it some kind of Wormhole X-Treme situation) The Librarians could bootstrap itself into becoming based-on-a-true-story in our reality by way of its own magic system.

Hey, The Librarians does apparently have Doctor Who as somehow both fictional and real in its universe and this latest era of Doctor Who does deal a lot with metafictional stuff as much as it can without making itself true in our universe

Spontaneous: An Explosive Love Story; me and my little sister watched it on a plane once because we thought it was what the first two acts made it seem like it was going to be, basically the kind of story that could have been an episode of The X-Files or any of the procedurals it inspired (I don't think any of them have really tackled spontaneous combustion proper though) but feature-length and from the POV of students at the small-town high school where this is all going down (including two that fall in love) instead of the people investigating. Then after a twist that I'm not gonna spoil in case somebody still wants to see this movie, the third act does have something kinda-sorta amounting to heroes saving the day it's just we never know why this was happening and everyone who survives basically ends up in the same place they would have been in their lives if the events of the movie had never happened and it's all okay because I guess an Aesop about living in the moment is something worth sacrificing plot resolution for

What would you guys consider the worst movie you've ever seen? Not something that's fun to make fun of, nothing you ironically enjoyed, I mean just an absolutely miserable moviegoing experience that you paid for, hated every second, and wish you had walked out of and asked for a refund.

For me, no joke, Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted. It did not even feel like a real movie to me. It made me see red! I was SEETHING with anger and annoyance throughout the entire thing, and I cannot for the life of me articulate why. I saw it once in 2012 when I was 15, I remember almost nothing about it now, but it struck a nerve with me like no other movie ever has before or since.

Organized these by dominant function not only to fit them in the limit of one poll but because for both her and Captain Wagner (the other one I'll make a poll for as everyone else recurring needs more screen time) while I may not think myself good enough at typing to determine the type wholly myself I think once the polls have spoken on the character's dominant function I can determine which of those two types they are

brilliant minds was sooo cute im so glad we've reached a point where we can have procedurals with every trope you expect except the mc is gay. like genuinely as an episodic show enjoyer the main character having some low stakes gay drama as a side plot the way every straight main character in shows like this does is everything to me
