In writing Lena as the Black Widow Victor in the hunger games au, I was reminded of a female villain who wears fingernail polish with venom in it. I remembered the venomous polish, the fact she scratches someone with them, and that his face become increasingly more fucked up as the movie proceeded from there-- but could not place it.

Started running through the dark angsty villains in any dark angsty films I've seen recently. Just, flipping through them in my brain like a rolodex. One right after another, becoming increasingly more frustrated as I went. Then, it clicked.
