On one hand, Young Justice is kind of neglected by the actual superheroes that should be looking out for them in a lot of crucial ways and very much failed by the adults around them

But on the other hand Red Tornado straight up hosts a parent-teacher conference where their respective legal guardians all show up, barring Batman who’s in traffic so Nightwing fills in instead because Robin’s dad does not know he’s a vigilante which is objectively hilarious

#Superboy does not have a name and his ass is constantly getting groomed like Clark please take a more active role in his life #And all of these guys need a healthy interaction with their respective legacies that does not involve heroing #Take them out for lunch! Play a video game with them! Let them be a kid around you without getting criticized!#Red Tornado had barely reconnected with his own humanity and he’s taken a more active role in being like they are safe happy and learning #compared to the people who literally are the reason they exist in the first place #and is the only one who seems to recognize their potential and ability as a team! and he wants others to know that!#and it’s kind of heartbreaking because the JLA should be paying attention to them and noticing how they succeed and instead just show up #at the worst possible time and take things out of context and criticize them and bestie I bet you they are a lot better of a hero #than *you* were at 14-16 because they actually are going out and making a difference and saving people #but the ones who should support them the most are barely there for them at all #someone give these kids healthy and appropriate emotional support I am begging you #yj #young just us #young justice #yj98 #bart allen #tim drake #kon el #conner kent #superboy #robin #dc impulse #cassie sandsmark #wonder girl #cissie king jones #arrowette #greta hayes #slobo dc #empress #anita fite

trying to finish as much as i can off playstation plus before letting my subscription end and one of those things was the bioshock infinite burial at sea dlc and oh my fucking god what an absolutely atrotrious experience. incredibly somehow worse than bioshock infinite (a game i hold no affection for) and may be one of the worst video game experiences i've ever had.

#we happy few remains the single worst game i've ever played #it has quite a lead on anything else #but damn this was so much worse than i was expecting #from a gameplay perspective i hated every second of it #the worst stealth mechanics i've ever experienced in a video game #games that have no stealth mechanics and expect you do stealth do better at stealth than this does #pretty much impossible to walk more than a few steps without every enemy in the level instantly knowing exactly where you are #because you stood on the wrong kind of floor #miserable #and of course elizabeth has to be weak and much less capable of combat than any other bioshock protagonist because she's a woman obviously #from a narrative perspective it was just #there should be a specific concise term for when prequels spend all their narrative efforts to show you the origins of any important elemen #lets call it 'story by way of recognizable nouns' or 'prequel origin porn' or someone else is probably better at naming things than i am #anyway that's the narrative in burial at sea #its vapid its obvious its a foregone conclusion it fucking sucks #and like look i don't love elizabeth bioshock infinite but she deserves better than anything that happens in this dlc

Just started watching this video of someone who played through the flipside and not even 30 minutes in I'm realizing that everyone on twitter was right and this game is ass

#the pyre #I am a Jecka stepping on Jeffery while he talks about her feet survior #if we're being honest I figured this game wouldn't be as good as the other two bc Jecka was the mc #Nicole is just so much more intersting I'm sorry #I saw a comment on the video that said that now that Nichole isn't the mc she's way less likeable #and I'm not even halfway through but I still disagree and if anything I feel the opposite #I love Nicole but the more we see of Jecka the less I like her #I feel like the creator tried too hard to make her like Nicole and not only is that not Jecka but it's not interesting #I wanna know why the third game of both class of 09 and south park came out this year #and both were criminally shorter than the other two games at around 3 hours and both were undoubtedly the worst in the series

Context for my dumb discussion question: I'm aware that we shouldn't invoke anyone other than g-d for help - for instance, you wouldn't pray to or ask saint anthony to help you find your keys you misplaced in last night's drunken stupor. However, I want to see what everyone's standards are.

Dumb discussion question: Is it wrong of me to invoke Todd Howard when I am climbing up mountain in a video game? I play so many video games, and Skyrim has a very unique feature where you can climb basically any surface that isn't ninety degrees, henceforth I started calling this method of travel "todd howarding/todding it." When I'm climbing up any mountain that I really don't know if I'll make the summet in a video game, I've found I say, "come onnnn, todd howard." Because I find it funny.

This isn't a serious discussion question - I am not about to worship todd skyrim howard as a deity. I believe in and say the shema, I promise 😭
