#where the fuck is that picture of me from when i was like 5 #mom was running a drag show in the city and they couldn't get a practice space anywhere cuz. well. you know.#but the kings and queens all decided to rotate between houses for practice nights amongst those who had a space to offer #and i was SO FUCKING MAD that i wasn't allowed to go to the drag show [venue served alcohol and i was 5] that i refused to be consoled #one of the queens suggested i could come along to all the practices and make my own performance for rehearsal night to go up with them #so the kings and queens all helped me go thru my closet and pick out my outfit #naturally this resulted in a glittery Lavender tutu #my actual horse riding boots and ranching sun hat #and the absolute cutest bandaeu bra made out of sarees #i was rockin around on my stick pony singing about cowboys and cowgirls and generally being the lil hick i always will be #and everyone was so nice to me about it lol #but mom was laughing so hard the pictures are all REAL blurry lol #SoundCloud

there's a lot to say about how house md treats women but I will say the show lets the women be way more complicated than some shows today

#☢️.txt #cameron fascinates me. both how fandom responds to her and within the show itself #her moral conflict IS interesting and the bizaare pedestal she put house on is microscope worthy #actually how she views house in general interests me. shes the first to realize a lot of what he does is to intentionally distance himself #but she also misreads him in ways no one else does. specifically because she accepted that he does care!#i also still think about how she assumes house is at fault when chase kills the dictator which tbh is a REALLY interesting opinion to me #dont get me wrong house definitely changed chase and it turned into him becoming a lot like house #however. house freaks out every time a patient asks to die. even when its reasonable house spirals out of control #trying to find a reason for it to be unreasonable. it doesnt matter if a patient is about to die unless hes completely out of ideas he #physically cannot stop. its compulsive. he does offer euthanasia in certain circumstances and theres patients where he clearly #does not care if they live or die. but his entire medical identity is based on saving lives regardless of who they are #he doesnt /care/ that a dictator got killed and probably does think chase made a decent choice. but its not what house wouldve done #house mightve set something up. tipped off an insurgent. let someone into the room. but he'd force the decision into someone elses hands #but cameron does think house would kill someone if he hated them enough. because he plays god constantly #which is such a fascinating misunderstanding of house's motives from someone who generally likes him

i know we’ve gone through a rollercoaster of emotions about malin after snow globe gate but when wille asks her to take him to simon’s she says “Hi Wilhelm” not “kronprins” or some other variation of his title. outside of boris i think she’s the only authority figure to refer to wille by name

Found this cleaning job on indeed that pays pretty well omg. The other job is taking too long to get back to me (I think it’s because of my sister actually since they hated her back when she worked there ToT… and of course they’d recognize my last name…)

#I just don’t have a car… but on the page it mentioned that it’s okay if you take public transportation #they also give employees free home cleaning services what the hell #I wonder if it’s monthly…#they’ll just come out to your house and do their thing… awesome my mom would love that #cleaning jobs are tiresome but there’s is sm money to be made there and it’s nice to know that you’re making someone else’s environment #comfortable especially if they aren’t able to do so for themselves #and anything that has to do with sanitation is definitely backbreaking but it’s humbling as well and also #moneyyyy #maybe I should apply #no weekends #it looks like they only have day shifts #there’s a $100 sign on bonus idk if the training is paid it might be #they offer #reimbursement for your travels #for if you drive or take public transportation #and they’ll have everything that you’ll need for work #I think they give out uniforms as well #you also get to keep the tips you get… whaaa

#cw animal death #animal death #(in the tags)#i brought home my dog today after work ended. i rushed to get there because the worker i had spoken with was super sweet and had offered to>#>wait after their own work day for me to pick her up. fully expected him to hand me just like. a sealed bag of ashes #so when he handed me a nice little urn and velvet bag i felt my throat close a little #the entire interaction was both polite and efficient and i made it back to my car before i really started to tear up #i appreciate that the worker let me idle a minute in the parking lot before i got back on the road #we joked a little about setting up 仏壇/altar in the little recessed space in my parents' living room and burning incense #all the incense at my grandmother's house came in sheets that needed to be split. it was my job as a kid to divide it into 3 stick pieces #the issue is that the sticks are BRITTLE and i would often accidentally break it horizontally #and then get in trouble LOL #BUT with my dog i would break long treat sticks into tiny pieces so she wouldnt inhale the whole thing (and so she thought she got multiple)#i wonder if she would appreciate many broken incense pieces over one long piece #she's sitting on my bed atm. she takes up way less space than she used to LOL #personal #koiinokoe #delete later
