I actually had in mind to do this series prior to the chicken conversation on AO3. That just gave me the final push I needed.

Niffty the chicken got her name because she is one of two hens paired with Alastor, my gold spangled rooster. This particular hen had the biggest eyes of the two, so she got to be Niffty.
