(re: sssniperwolf and jacksfilms)
It's laughable that she escalated it that hard. Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty sure stalking him like that is illegal and it's terrifying regardless, but Jack said in a stream (can't remember which one) that he wasn't about bringing up past controversies of hers or cancelling. And now she shows up outside his house (wtf!!!). Like he was willing to only call her out for stealing and freebooting but she's gone and stalked him and Jack doesn't seem like the type of guy to take that shit. Actual WTF moment from her part. wild
omg long post below bc apparently I have opinions:
YES!! THAT'S WHAT'S SO INCREDIBLE ABOUT THIS... Jack has been genuinely diligent about keeping things on-topic in his streams, and hasn't brought up any of her other Stuff, or anything Personal. Despite the fact that she kickstarted the whole thing by making it INCREDIBLY personal and attacking his physical appearance...
His goal has been to call out and bring attention to content theft, and he's stuck with it. Dude's also cared about this for years, and she's not the first content thief he's criticized. He just hates the way that freebooting has become so accepted-- to the point where youtube praised her for "coming up with such creative video ideas"? Hey! Ew!
Dude wasn't trying to get her cancelled though, there was no smear campaign of her character. He's been rallying to get her to CREDIT the creators that she relies on for all of her content. It would set a precedent for all other "react" channels on the platform for one of the biggest channels on youtube to actually give credit where credit is due. Or, god forbid, get permission first? It's not hard.
It's already done the job of making some other people who do "react content" self-analyze whether or not their content is transformative, and to maybe care about crediting the creators they rely on for their genre to work. There is a way to make this kind of video that isn't so slimy. And making fun of her lackluster-at-best reactions is so far from even being a big deal. Bc she literally does just sit there and say nothing.
Plus, his goal has a clear End built into it: if she started shouting out the creators she takes content from, and put links directly to their pages in her video descriptions, the job would be done! That's what he's asking her to do. Real bare minimum stuff.
It legit would have been easy to steer away from the content theft and to also talk about her history of lying to her audience! her ghosting a dying kid with cancer who was a big fan of hers! the fact that she's been arrested for armed robbery! her history of transphobia! He would also get more clicks that way, which is what she claims is his sole goal- to get more clicks.
I'll bring it up though!
She's been a terrible person the whole time, and has kept a steady course of manipulating her audience of young children and/or, let's be completely honest, simps- into thinking that she's a Wholesome creator. (And now, into thinking she's an innocent victim.) All of the actual effort put in by her has gone toward optics, not the content she puts out. A carefully constructed online persona, for one, but also literal appearances. Jack totally can't say this, bc she already went off the handle and said the only reason he doesn't like her is bc he Hates To See A Woman Be Successful. But I can! That was a cheap shot for her to use that argument when, for once, it's not applicable! Much the opposite, even! Dudes online wouldn't go to bat for her if she didn't look the way she does. And it weakens any case she'd have against him by making baseless claims like that.
She banks hugely on being an attractive woman to get her clicks/following. A massive amount of effort is put into her appearance. The makeup, the lip fillers, putting her hair in little pigtails, the chokers and tube tops, the big non-prescription Nerd Glasses, the thumbnails where she has her mouth open in That Expression?
I don't even have to say anything. But making a weird facial expression and putting your hair in pigtails aren't moral failings.
Showing up at someone's real life home (whose address you shouldn't even have access to), filming the front of their house at night, doxxing them to your audience of millions of people? Because you were mad at them online? That is fully scary! Yeah girl I'm pretty sure that Jack can press charges! There is absolutely no way to take the moral highground now that she's literally stalked him, and doxxed his home.
She tried to goad him and Erin (Jack's wife) out of the house, also, which creeps me out even more-- because what was she planning to do? The fact that she's been arrested for violent crime before does pop into my mind! lmao!
Jack was streaming a game at the time that she was outside his home, and these clips of him, his friends, and Erin reacting in real time to what is genuinely a scary situation have been taken down in case he needs to use them in legal action. Shit is legitimately serious!

I like to imagine that Mys is actually pretty honest about herself 😭 at least once at the beginning of their relationship Shane was having a particularly bad day and said a bunch of mean things to her.
She took them. Stood up. And then calmly, though she looked like a sad little puppy 🥺, told him well it went like-
Mys: Shane! *runs up and hugs him from behind* oh I can’t wait to tell you about what I found today. *she sits next to him and starts talking about what happened to her in the mines*
Shane:* getting more and more irritated with her by the second* fuck you’re annoying, *sighs heavily* Don’t you ever just shut up?
Mys: *goes silent*
Shane: Yoba must really fuckin hate me if he sent me you. Can’t you take a hint. I don’t want you to talk to me. I don’t want you to hug me. And I sure as hell don’t need your stupid gifts. What the hell am I supposed to do with an egg? I raise chickens, Mys. Their eggs are the same. *rolls the egg she had given him earlier back towards her but it falls into the floor*… *sighs* Now can you just leave me alone.
Mys:*staring down at the broken egg, shrunken in her seat* I’m… sorry. Um…*stands*
Shane:*drinks the beer in his hand*
Mys: that was… really mean… actually.
Shane:*turns to look at her* what
Mys: the way you just spoke to me. That was awful and my feelings are really hurt. *trying not to cry and speaking kind of quickly* you’d been pretty nice to me this past week, so I don’t know what happened to you today, but you don’t have the right to be so mean to me.
Shane:…
Mys: I’m going to go now. Have a nice night Shane.
Shane: *watches her leave* I think I just fucked up…
Emily: Oh absolutely.

Okay I can't post it until next week at the earliest and NEED to get this off my chest between now and my next longer reply because of stuff we were talking about:
Confirmed in one of my livestream clips there's been actual consideration towards Mine having survived. It's just a matter of his voice actor's availability and wanting to do it right if they end up doing it. We really could see Mine back in the main series.
And I recorded that clip based on something I misheard and didn't register that part at all until now. How Are We Doing Tonight
(Speaking of, get well soon!! I was sick myself the past couple of weeks, it's awful)
me waiting for the absolute millisecond yokoyama drops the 100% Mine Survived The Fall statement

one of the cashiers at the grocery store i go to is so fucking fixated on shoplifters and it drives me crazy any time i check out through him (i try to avoid him but his checkout is often the most open/empty - hm! i wonder why! - and im often on a tight schedule w the bus). he brings up shoplifters every opportunity he gets and he seems so convinced that theyre a huge problem.
BUT WHAT REALLY GETS ME ,,, is that today the customer in front of me was needing a price check on one of the items bc it should've come out to be cheaper, so he was kind of apologetic abt it and saying "ah well, yknow, six dollars is six dollars, especially with how expensive groceries are right now" and i was nodding and agreeing (trying to show that i dont mind the wait and also solidarity my guy good for u for speaking up and getting the price fixed on that) AND THE CASHIER AGREES. FULLY ACKNOWLEDGES AND BEMOANS THE FACT THAT GROCERIES ARE CRAZY RN. AND THEN GOES ON TO COMPLAIN ABOUT SHOPLIFTERS. HUH ??????
so you agree that groceries are unreasonably expensive... and that sometimes ppl can't afford them... and yet ....................

@megamog tagged: #this is the supposed to be the same Claude who uses poisons to temporarily incapacitate people but is suddenly like murder is okay
After the Lonato battle:
Note how he says, when Leonie and Ignatz walk up looking sad about the battle, that they should proud because they did what they had to do... but that's only when other people are watching. When he's only with their profressor, he admits the battle left a bad taste in his mouth. His "you should be proud" was more of a bravado for the others than how he actually felt, versus in Hopes where that attitude is just the norm when they go invade Faerghus. They "feel bad" for invading, but do it anyway. With Lonato in Houses, he was going to actually attack the monastery and cause any number of innocents to get hurt (as Claude also mentions), so Claude wasn't making the first move against someone but still felt bad for the battle. If they "feel bad" for inavding Faerghus in Hopes, well... they should.
Not only does Claude repeatedly mention in Houses that his poisons aren't harmful, but he's not okay with killing even in self defense. He'll do it if necessary - if absolutely necessary and there are no other options available to him - but he doesn't prefer killing. Also note how he mentions in his support with Byleth about how he grew up that he explains why he makes poisons. He got used to making them in self defense because of assassination attempts... and even despite assassination attempts, he created non-lethal poisons. He fended off his attackers as much as he could with non-lethal methods, even when people were going after him intending to kill him.
Yet in Hopes he's like... time to go invade the Kingdom that did nothing to us. Ever. Place has been fighting their own battles and defending against the Empire just like us, but they've been totally innocent this whole time. Let's go invade and make sure Sreng knows about it! But then, if someone suggests if we directly tell Sreng about Matthias, no no! Can't do that! More people will die! More, as in, more than the ones we just murdered in our invasion that we didn't have to do. Murder is bad! But only when it's not us who do it. :)
For real, Academy Claude in Houses would whack adult Claude in Hopes. Academy Claude always feels the need to defend himself verbally by reminding people, including his professor, that the poisons he makes are not lethal, because his reputation is in the mud with a lot of Alliance nobles (and it sounds like some students/people around him in general don't trust his motivations). He always has to make very certain that people understand he's not trying to actually hurt people.
Also, the people around him were skeptical of him, but he's also aware these are innocent people. He has other student around him and people who just live at the monastery. He doesn't use lethal poisons even on his attackers when he's growing up, so why would he use lethal poisons on people just living their day to day lives? He doesn't. He doesn't use anything that could actually kill someone against innocents; and as far as I'm concerned, Faerghus was innocent and Claude still went to attack them in Hopes.
He just... really doesn't like killing. If he has no other choice he will, but that's if he's literally pushed into a corner or attacked first (and even then will attempt to do things without killing first, before determining if there's no other methods he can use). He wouldn't kill innocent people (and he also would not condone the shit Nader says/does in Hopes. Houses Claude would never tolerate Hopes Nader's love of pillaging.
