Something I love about Rand is how unspecial he is

He doesn’t have any real merit or skill besides writing (and even then he never even had an ending for the campaign) and being just a slightly faster runner than the others

He’s just so average. He’s not special at all. He’s not part of the Hive like Rolan is, he didn’t learn magic and get a second chance at life like Kian did, hell he didn’t even realize the town was shaped like a hive

He never applied himself, he never did anything of note, he lived his whole life in the same town and he was just so ordinary

Does he get upset about that? Does he hate how he never did anything? Never even tried? Does he hate how normal he is while his friends are so extraordinary? Does he hate them because they’re everything he isn’t?
