Why yes, I do spend a significant amount of time wondering how Gideon and Harrow would interact with Hot Sauce's gang. Especially without the blue madness from Varun getting in the way. How they'd react to Harrow doing some bone magic (not well is an understatement). How they'd react to the Ninth's general vibe.

Are Gideon and Harrow trying to hide on a shepherd planet in my imaginary scenario? What would they do about Harrow's face paint? She'd be mortified to be seen without it. Do the kids immediately know they're dealing with a "zombie" and her "slave"? I have no idea.

All I know is it'd be a total fucking disaster. Someone is getting shot if they don't take Hot Sauce's gun.

(I'm joking but these poor kids would be fucking terrified like you've never seen.)

But Camilla, for her part, seems to think that Gideon and perhaps even Harrow would feel responsible for the kids:
