So here are some things Watters is approaching differently than TT.
TT brought the Titans into Bludhaven. Watters, while acknowledging that Titans Tower is still in Bludhaven, is keeping the Titans out.
TT:

Watters:

2. TT downgraded Babs's abilities, and she couldn't retrieve redacted info from the FBI. However, Watters has Babs hacking into the pentagon/getting through pentagon-level encryption.
TT:

Watters:

Nightwing (Vol. 4) #121
3. TT decided to make Dick into a billionaire philanthropist, and he had Dick fund different projects city-wide via the Alfred Pennyworth Foundation. We saw the good from the foundation, but Watters is showing us that not all is as positive and easily fixable as TT portrayed.
For example, in TT's run, the Pennyworth Foundation worked to house every young person. However, as shown in Watters's run, we see that in doing those types of projects, the Pennyworth Foundation, whether intentional or not, actually closed other well-meaning organizations like a soup kitchen.
It's funny because in TT's run, Dick said, "We can't take away the home they've made. Instead, we want to improve it." But Watters is showing that the Pennyworth Foundation actually did take away home and comfort from the youth by buying out the building that the soup kitchen was run from. And maybe in this case "sold out from under" means the original building owner sold the building without telling any of the tenants/vendors, but if it's implying that the Pennyworth Foundation did some shady dealings to acquire the property then, well, that's not a good look.
TT:

4. TT sold out Dick's secret identity multiple times, and he even had Dick offering to reveal his identity during the events of Beast World. Watters isn't budging on allowing Dick to reveal his real name to the members of the Teddy gang.
TT:

Nightwing (Vol. 4) #96
Watters:

5. TT created Haven as a community and sanctuary for homeless kids. It had free food, transportation, and shelter. It was yet another thing billionaire philanthropist Dick Grayson could do for the community of Bludhaven. It was a big accomplishment that benefited a large group of people.
Watters did something on a smaller, personalized scale. He allowed Dick to temporarily house members of the Teddy Gang in his own satellite safe house.
Both acts are good in their own ways, but Dick's act from Watters's run feels more personal. A member of the Teddy gang, a kid, was killed in front of Dick. Dick's taking the safety of other Teddy gang members into his own hands. He's not acting on the good of a large community, he's working on a smaller scale. He's working directly with troubled youth instead of throwing money at so-and-so organizations and contractors to make people's lives better. It feels more grounded and relatable to me, personally. Like there's a difference between throwing your money at someone or something to make things better vs. involving yourself with an individual group and getting to know who they are, why they're in the gang, and how you can involve yourself in their lives on a physical and emotional level.

Perfume IS an essencial: Here’s 4 reasons why
Good Afternoon Dear Reader! Happy Saturday directly from Argentina
Before we dive into today's topic, I wanted to talk briefly about why these "practical" and lighter and style blog posts are JUST as important as the heart-felt blogs on heavier topics and more practical ones like organization, cooking and cleaning tips
This blog is a place where I am trying to gather useful information to help us grow as feminine women, whether that is in our hearts, our homes, our lives, or even in our own skin. I believe in a well-rounded growth perspective: I am trying to improve many areas of my life, even if they are just practical and simple.
So today I wanted to talk about one of these more "practical and simple" topics: perfume.
At first glance this topic can seem kind of boring, like "yeah, no one likes smelling bad, so wear perfume, DUH." But I think perfume is so much more than that!
I believe that a spritz of perfume can actually improve your day, your confidence, and your overall aura as a feminine woman.
***DISCLAIMER: I know that smells can trigger allergic reactions in people, and there are actually fragrance-free zones such as certain churches or work environments. Do not break those rules just to follow my advice LOL!
The women jn my life were always had a passion from perfumery and I remember using it even as a child, but I only started being interested in it during my teenage years and in the past my interest and collection only grew. But I remember that during times of intense sadness in my life, I understand that something simple as even filling in your eyebrows can be a completely exhausting task! So much personal care falls off your daily routine when you can't handle what life is throwing at you and I think that adding perfume to your routine can be an easy way to elevate your grooming.
In order to really stick to this habit, I decided to focus on WHY I should wear perfume. So here we go! This may convince you too.
1. Perfume Adds LUXURY To Life
I know what some of you may be thinking: "I'm just at home, and deodorant is good enough for me!" or "I'm just in an office chair, why do I need to smell amazing?" and finally, "I'm just going to work out later so it doesn't matter!"
You know what I say to all those reasons?
You are an amazing woman and you deserve to have a little extra luxury in your day, even if you are behind a vacuum, a computer, or a treadmill.
Most of us aren't going to be lounging on a velvet chaise with champagne and a cashmere blanket wrapped around us tonight anyways! We're not living that lux life, so why not add extra luxury into our days?
When you're vacuuming the house or reading through spreadsheets, it can be easy to feel like cinderella BEFORE she went to the ball. A fragrance reminds you that you are an elegant, feminine WOMAN, and that you are WORTHY of a little luxury.
So pick up a fragrance you love, (doesn't have to be costly,) and indulge! You are WORTHY of that extra 10 seconds on yourself.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2. Perfume Can Make You HAPPIER!
So today I was spritzing on some body spray when I realized that I had a soft smile on my face. Seriously: I was just smiling to myself! Sol de Janeiro cheirosa 71 (my newest obsession! ) evokes a reaction of pleasure: it makes me smile.
Do you remember learning about the senses in school? They can evoke emotion, thoughts, feelings, and action. Touch can make you take action when you feel pain. Taste evokes pleasure when you encounter delicious food. Likewise, smell can evoke pleasant emotion or distaste.
If there was a little life hack that could have you smiling 2 more times a day than you already do, wouldn't you do it? Fragrance is SUCH simple way to accomplish this!
And a bonus? When you smell good, other people notice! I LOVE when my husband tells me I smell good, or when a friend goes in for a hug and comments that she loves the smell I'm wearing. Smelling good feels GOOD!
3. Perfume Helps You Get in Touch With FEMININITY
When I was a kid, Id watch every morning my mom and grandma get ready and wear their favorite perfumes ( that I have the smell in my memory to this day). I made a promise to myself that when I became a woman at the age of I would begin doing 3 things EVERY DAY: wearing lipstick, carrying a stylish purse, and wearing perfume.
I think I knew, even as a child, that perfume was for women. Full grown, feminine, gracious, beautiful women. Adding fragrance to your routine is a way of stepping into that feminine womanhood and embracing yourself.
Perfume can also be especially helpful for women who are kind of uncomfortable with their femininity. You can begin exploring the possibilities with just a small change. Add a bit of mystery, femininity, sweetness, or glamour to ANY outfit. Elevate your look and tip toe into femininity with a fragrance. Pair a ponytail and sneakers with some vanilla body spray: you might be surprised at how it makes you smile!
4. Perfume Helps You EXPRESS Yourself
I truly believe that the sense of smell is neglected in our modern culture. We are MUCH more focused on the visuals of our beauty routine: hair, fashion, makeup, etc. And why? Well, you can't smell a picture on Instagram! Why invest in something so small when no one can really experience it? Who cares about smell?
Well, maybe we SHOULD care! When you meet someone, you are taking them in through a lot of the senses: a firm handshake, the visuals of their face, the way their voice sounds, and yes, THEIR SMELL!
When you go out into the world, think about the entire picture of you as a person: your smell, your style, your "vibe." What is your overall aura? Perfume can help you add a dimension of creative expression to your overall vibe and style. Express yourself!
***Bonus tip: Hydration is essential for perfume performance and it starts from the inside by drinking enough water and continues with applying lotion before your perfume. (Even better if you can do it post shower when your skin is still a bit damp). Some people also apply a small bit of vaseline or petroleum jelly to your wrists and neck (the pulse regions) before you spray. It helps your scent last longer!
And closing, perfume can add luxury to our day, help us feel happy, help us get in touch with femininity, and allow us to express ourselves! What's not to love?
xoxo

Internet censorship tactics are happening on a grand scale in secrecy. The establishment is scrubbing internet achieves across numerous platforms in an attempt to reframe public opinion and ultimately rewrite history.
Archive.org has been tracking websites since 1994, but recently, it has stopped collecting data in real-time. The website stopped archiving on October 8, 2024, with a curious explanation: Archive.org faced a Denial of Service attack (DDOS) that nearly wiped it out. Who would be targeting such a service?
The platform released the following message:Last week, along with a DDOS attack and exposure of patron email addresses and encrypted passwords, the Internet Archive’s website javascript was defaced, leading us to bring the site down to access and improve our security. The stored data of the Internet Archive is safe and we are working on resuming services safely. This new reality requires heightened attention to cyber security and we are responding. We apologize for the impact of these library services being unavailable.
A librarian for the organization said that they expect the service to be restored but was unable to provide details. “While the Wayback Machine has been in read-only mode, web crawling and archiving have continued. Those materials will be available via the Wayback Machine as services are secured.” This means that individual websites may scrub content from their site without any third-party having the ability to capture it.
Now, this is not a one-off issue. Good cache just so happened to cease service shortly after Archive.org was hacked. The service would provide users with a cached version of the website they were viewing. Google offered no explanation. It’s Google – they have the server capacity to continue this service.
The items that have not been scrubbed from the internet have been hidden by Big Tech. Joe Rogan’s viral interview with Donald Trump secured over 34 million views. Yet, Google and YouTube have altered their search engines to make the video difficult to find. Rogan was forced to post the full three-hour interview on X, one of the final frontier of free speech
AI search tools have been corrupted. Alexa, owned by Amazon, once provided a view count for various websites and services. Alexa was not originally the in-home device that we are familiar with as the company was developed independently and purchased by Amazon in 1999. Amazon coincidentally named its in-home tool “Alexa” in 2014. The company quietly removed the web ranking tool in 2022 with no explanation.
I do not offer ad space on this website as I do not want to be beholden to any third parties. We keep our services open and archive our content for future use. There is a reason that Big Tech is suddenly masking the internet while leaving no trace. They say history belongs to the victors. The establishment will ensure that they have the final say in how our stories are told to future generations.

Dec. 28 (UPI) -- Chinese hackers called Salt Typhoon have infiltrated a ninth telecommunications firm, gaining access to information about millions of people, U.S. cybersecurity officials say.
The FBI is investigating the Salt Typhoon attacks, which are spurring new defensive measures, deputy U.S. national security adviser Anne Neuberger told reporters on Friday.
"As we look at China's compromise of now nine telecom companies, the first step is creating a defensible infrastructure," she said.
The hackers primarily are targeting individuals and organizations involved in political or governmental activities and a significant number of hacking victims are located in the Washington D.C.-Virginia area.
The hackers can geolocate millions of people in the United States, listen to their phone conversations and record them whenever they like, Politico reported.
Among recent victims are President-elect Donald Trump, Vice President-elect JD Vance and several Biden administration officials.
Neuberger did not name the nine telecommunications firms that have been hacked, but said telecommunications firms and others must do more to improve cybersecurity and protect individual customers.
"We wouldn't leave our homes, our offices unlocked," she said. "Yet, the private companies owning and operating our critical infrastructure often do not have the basic cybersecurity practices in place that would make our infrastructure riskier, costlier and harder for countries and criminals to attack."
She said companies need better management of configuration, better vulnerability management of networks and better work across the telecom sector to share information when incidents occur.
"However, we know that voluntary cybersecurity practices are inadequate to protect against China, Russia and Iran hacking our critical infrastructure," Neuberger said.
Australian and British officials already have enacted telecom regulations "because they recognize that the nation's secrets, the nation's economy relies on their telecommunications sector."
Neuberger said her British counterparts told her they would have detected and contained Salt Typhoon attacks faster and minimized their spread and impact.
"One of the most concerning and really troubling things we deal with is hacking of hospitals [and] hacking of healthcare data," Neuberger said. "We see Americans' sensitive healthcare data, sensitive mental health procedures [and] sensitive procedures being leaked on the dark web with the opportunity to blackmail individuals with that."
She said federal regulators are updating existing rules and implementing new ones to counteract the cyberattacks and threats from Salt Typhoon and others.
The Department of Justice on Friday issued a rule prohibiting or restricting certain types of data transactions with certain nations or individuals who might have an interest in that data.
The protected information includes those involving government-related data and bulk sensitive personal data of individuals that could pose an unacceptable risk to the nation's national security.
The Department of Health and Human Services likewise issued a proposed rule to improve cybersecurity and protect the nation's healthcare system against an increasing number of cyberattacks.
The proposed HHS rule would require health insurers, most healthcare providers and their business partners to improve cybersecurity protections for individuals' information that is protected by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996.
"The increasing frequency and sophistication of cyberattacks in the healthcare sector pose a direct and significant threat to patient safety," HHS Deputy Secretary Andrea Palm said Friday.
"These attacks endanger patients by exposing vulnerabilities in our healthcare system, degrading patient trust, disrupting patient care, diverting patients and delaying medical procedures."
The proposed rule "is a vital step to ensuring that healthcare providers, patients and communities are not only better prepared to face a cyberattack but are also more secure and resilient," Palm added.
Neuberger estimated the cost to implement improved cybersecurity to thwart attacks by Salt Typhoon and others at $9 billion during the first year and $6 billion for years 2 through 5.
"The cost of not acting is not only high, it also endangers critical infrastructure and patient safety," she said, "and it carries other harmful consequences."
The average cost of a breach in healthcare was $10.1 million in 2023, but the cost is nearing $800 million from a breach of Change Healthcare last year.
Those costs include the costs of recovery and operations and, "frankly, in the cost to Americans' healthcare data and the operations of hospitals affected by it," Neuberger said.
The Federal Communications Commission also has scheduled a Jan. 15 vote on additional proposed rules to combat Salt Typhoon and other hackers.

We’re constantly identifying ourselves by political affiliations, beliefs, or roles: “I’m a Democrat, you’re a Republican,” or “I’m a liberal, you’re a conservative.” While these labels can be meaningful, they often overshadow deeper, personal aspects of identity.…
