Words: 1339
Request: Toga Himiko with male s/o who was quirkless but joined All For One after he gave him the same quirks as several of his Nomu have and S/o is only one who actually stood up to one's that were harassing toga and also is a adoptive father of Eri
Tumblr media
You couldn’t care less about not having a quirk, the only time you hated being quirkless was when you couldn’t protect someone you loved. You had been friends with Himiko since you were both in kindergarten, she instantly became attached to you and would follow you everywhere like a puppy. You were always there for each other, you were inseparable. When her quirk started manifesting everyone was scared of her and distanced themselves from her, everyone except you. Over the years the distance quickly turned to bullying, she got more and more attached to you,she was scared to be alone. So much so that one time you had to talk to one of the teachers one on one and walked out only to see her having a panic attack, you comforted her of course. Since that day you kept her super close, you essentially became her bodyguard. No one dared to mess with her if you were around, and it was peaceful for a while.
***
‘She’s late’ She was never late for your weekly movie night, picking up your phone you called her but she didn’t answer, you called again and again but still nothing. Your blood was rushing to your brain, imagining the worst scenario. The sound of your doorbell broke you out of your trance, you quickly rushed to answer. You saw Himiko standing there, crying. She had bruises and cuts all over her face and some on her arms and legs, she was bleeding from her cheek and knees. A flurry of emotions rushed through you, sadness, fear and anger. You put your arm carefully around her and took her inside to patch her up.
“Who did this?”
“You remember those guys from class C-2?” Immediately your blood started boiling, you wanted to just go out there and make them pay but she needed you now,you couldn’t just up and leave right now.  You patched her up and held her until she fell asleep, but the second you tried to move she held onto you tighter. The next day you forced her to stay home, mostly because you were worried but also because you were scared she'd get hurt again. She had told you who was bullying her and you fought them the second you saw them, both of you got roughed up,and they had no problem using their quirks. This is one of the few times you hated being quirk less, you felt like you couldn't protect her.
You spent a week looking for someone who could help you,you knew there had to be someone out there who could give you a quirk. But All for one was a myth, a legend,no one had ever met him. You were walking back home in the middle of a rainy night, when you felt someone walk up behind you and prepared to fight whoever it was.
“I heard you were looking for me”
“What?”
“Villains talk and it’s impossible not to know when someone’s looking for me. Usually they give up after a day or two but I’m impressed by your dedication. I’ll give you the power you so clearly desire,on one condition you’ll have to join the league of villains”
“Can I bring someone with me?”
“What’s their quirk”
“They can change form into anyone if they have their blood”
***
All the things you had heard about All for one was true,he really could give other people quirks. He had given you plenty of quirks which you quickly got total control over, they felt like seconds nature like you were meant to have them. Now it was time to teach these guys a lesson, you followed them around until they were alone. There were a total of three of them, which meant that your shock absorption was very useful and super regeneration negated any damage they did. Using warping you warped behind them turning your arms into various sharp objects stabbing them. You warped their bodies away once you were done with them. Now you just needed to figure out how you were gonna tell Himiko about your quirks,of course leaving out the part where you killed the guys that were bullying her. You warped home and walked in only to see Himiko on the couch, you just stared at each other as she looked you up and down. Seeing you covered in blood made her freak out.
“What happened? Are you okay? Who did this to you?” She bombarded you with questions, grabbing her hands made her go silent.
“It’s not my blood” She didn’t leave your side for the rest of the night even when you were trying to change into some clean clothes. You knew you’d had to tell her how you got your quirks but you were scared, you weren’t sure how she’d react so you just never told her. Until several months later, you explained everything and she took it surprisingly well.
“And did he want anything in exchange?”
“He wanted me to join the league of villains” Immediately her eyes watered, she burst into tears before you could stop her. She hugged you, squeezing you tightly.
“Please don’t leave me” You held her tightly.
“Never,I want you to come with me”
“Really?” You wiped away her tears, cupping her face with your hands.
“Really” Her tears were quickly replaced with a smile, suddenly she grabbed you by your cheeks and kissed you. It took you a second to realize what just happened but before you could kiss her back she pulled away. “Sorry,I didn’t-” You pulled her back for another kiss.
Two years later you had almost completely mastered your quirks and joined the Love along with Toga. Even though she could protect herself, you were still protective over her. Especially after you were forced to team up with Overhaul,Toga was immediately suspicious of him and never left your side. One day he showed up with a small child who he said was his daughter. Seeing her sacred, hiding behind him reminded you of Toga. You quickly grew attached to her and soon she was following you around. The rest of the league loved her as much as you did,and they would do anything to protect her. You noticed that her hair was bothering her,she was constantly pushing it behind.
“Do you want me to tie up for you?” You asked, holding up a hair tie.
“Yes,please” You sat her down on your lap and started brushing her hair,as you were brushing her hair Magne walked in with a box.
“Eri,look what I got you” There were several hair ties and clips, all cute and brightly colored. She helped you do Eri’s hair, but as you pulled her hair back you saw scars on her back and shoulders. Both you and Magne turned to each other, both scared of the answer. The tension was thick and you finally spoke up.
“Eri,what happened?” She turned around and started crying, your blood started to boil “Who did this to you?”
Once you calmed her down, you put her to bed. Asking Toga to keep an eye on her while you were gone. You walked outside only to see Magne already waiting for you.
“You didn’t think I was gonna let you go by yourself”
“Let’s go” You meet up with him in the usual spot, one of the many alleyways. He of course brought at least one person with him.
"What do want?"
"It's about Eri"
"What about her?"
"We may be villains but we're not monsters" Magne walked up to him,he quickly tried to grab her but you rushed in and stabbed him. Magne took out the other guy before you teleported their bodies away. "We should get back before everyone notices" Toga hugged you the second you walked in. "You should be in bed,it's late"
"I was worried about you" You kissed the top of her head.
"Let's go to bed"

You made me imagine Shigaraki trying to explain his family to like, Spinner or something.
"This is Hana, she's my big sister. I accidentally stole her hands when I got my quirk so she's technically the only person allowed to mess with me."
"This is Himiko, she's...I guess my little sister? I think we might've tried to kill each other when we first met. She's cool."
"This is Eri. We only have custody of her every other weekend because the heroes keep finding our hideouts. I'm pretty sure she's our baby sister, but Dabi is convinced she's either my kid or Hana's."
OKAY BUT BUT BUT ANON, THIS GIVE ME AN IDEA FOR AN AU. HERE ME OUT:
In this au, AFO doesn't exists (what a blessing) and Shirakumo Oboro is still alive.
The night Tenko's quirk manifest, Hana prevents him from doing anything using her quirk: if someone touches her skin recently, she can freeze that person's movements for a short amount of time.
Some years later, Shirakumo saves them both from their abusive family. Kotaro goes to jail, Nao goes to a mental institution to recover from the trauma and Oboro adopts the kids.
Welcome to the Cloud Family.
Shirakumo, a sort of vigilante now, keeps saving and adopting people that were forgotten by society.
Around that time he meets a girl maybe two years older than Hana. Her name is Magne and she ran away from her home because they didn't wanted her for being trans. She ask Shirakumo is she can stay with him, helping him raise the kids. He allows it, thankful.
Magne immediately becomes Hana's best friend. Both girls are an amazing duo and they help Tenko learn how to manage his quirk.
While Hana and Tenko study and Shirakumo works, Magne stays with the home duties, goes out with friends, lives her normal life being who she truly is.
She's cleaning the kitchen one morning and when Shirakumo breaks in through the window, holding a little girl in his arms. The girl looks younger than Tenko and it's covered in mud and blood. She's smiling big, fascinated with Shirakumo's quirk, like she's just taking a ride.
Shirakumo found her playing inside a trash can in the street. She was looking for something to eat. Her parents, some rich bastards, had abandoned her aftering finding out their kid liked to bite living animals and drink their blood. They kicked her out of the house and faked her death.
To cover up his vigilante identity, Shirakumo opens a bar. It's small, comfortable, perfect to hide from heroes and villians. He has a contact named Giran, who redirects to him all those people who need a hero but can't trust in the law.
Magne is the one managing the bar with Shirakumo, whevener he's not working. Hana, Tenko and Toga go to school.
Let's take a minute to imagine Hana and Touya being classmates. Imagine Hana and Touya arguing and even fistfighting. They become rivals. Which is pretty funny because you have Fuyumi trying to stop hee brother from insulting her best friend.
Little Hana hating Endeavor. Preach.
Natsuo and Tenko study together. They bond over trains and having idiotic parents.
PLEASE TOGA AND SHOTO BEING CHILDHOOD FRIENDS.
I mean, I've always headcanoned that Shoto and Toga are both neurodivergent so imagine then bonding over that.
Toga is considered a weird kid but Shoto likes being around her because she doesn't look like him like he's unreachable. Toga is always telling how his fire is so pretty, nothing like Endeavor's fire. Also Shoto, who's always bleeding thanks to his training, doesn't understand why it's a big deal that Toga asks him for some. He just gives her and they pretend to be twins when she uses her quirk.
The day Touya goes to Sekoto peak, Hana is looking for him because Shirakumo insists that she should invite him to have dinner with them. She goes with Shirakumo to Endeavor's house and from there they go look for him at the peak.
When the fire begins, Oboro flies over and rescues Touya. However, they both get pretty burned. Shirakumo scapes with the kid and arrives at the bar. Magne contacts an illegal doctor to cure them both.
Hana tells Fuyumi that Touya is alive but she refuses to tell her where he is. She will only tell her if Fuyumi tells her about Endeavor. Hana knows she's being cruel but she also knows them, and she knows something bad is going on with them.
Hana takes Fuyumi to where they keep Touya once she admits Endeavor's abuse.
But Touya refuses to go back. He's barely healing, slowly, and he hates his dad. He is full with hatred and anger and hurt. Shirakumo fears for his life, but he can't simply fight Endeavor.
Fuyumi returns home, troubled. Finally she talks with Rei and the woman visits Shirakumo in secret. She visits her son.
They reach an agreement: For the world, Touya Todoroki would be dead. Only his siblings and his mother would know the truth, along with the Cloud Family. Dabi would be just a kid without a family, someone who grew up in Shirakumo's bar.
And so they did. The Todorokis would visit him regularly with the excuse of the todosiblings being friends with the cloud kids.
When Hana and Fuyumi started college, Dabi stayed behind with Toga and Tenko. They started training together, and before anyone could notice, they were already a team.
The final adoption of the cloud family happened when a woman gave a little girl to Shirakumo one rainy night. She was terrified of the child. In the hurry, she told him to take the kid to a mafia boss and left, but Shirakumo couldn't do it.
Shirakumo already had experience raising little girls and raising children with problematic quirks, so she fit perfectly in their family of weirdos.
The yakuza never knew about this.
Eri grew up glued to Tenko, because they look a like a lot, so people didn't doubt them being siblings.
Shirakumo turns into a reformed pro-hero just to start teaching at UA along with his old besties, Aizawa and Yamada. He's in charge of teaching the kids about how the villians think and work.
Hana ends up studying to be a lawyer, but only to cover up her family whereabouts.
Toga and Shoto starts studying at UA together (or the AU where Toga replaces Mineta at class 1-A). Toga calls Aizawa "uncle Eraser".
Magne keeps the bar with the help of Tenko aka Tomura and Dabi. Which is just a lie because Tomura and Dabi follow the vigilante path together, creating the Anti-hero League. Bonus point because Natsuo has to constantly use his medical skills on his older sibling and his best friend, since they are both reckless idiots with self-destructive quirks.
Fuyumi works with Eri on learning how to control her quirk. Turns out Fuyumi is an amazing teacher and Eri completely adores her.
Rei is responsible for Shoto's scar but this time is totally an accident. She still goes to the hospital BUT Dabi exposes Endeavor and together they all sent him to jail.
Compress, Spinner, Twice, Mustard, Giran.. They all find their way to the Anti-hero League and most important, to the Cloud Family. Shirakumo is proud as fuck because his son is just like him.
Which takes us to Tomura having to explain he has four sisters to Spinner.
And this is the story Tomura told him and the reason why Spinner keeps losing his mind every time he sees them all on the family reunions.
The end.

Peril (WOF)
I like both Nonbinary She/They Peril and Mtf She/Her Peril
They're both such good concepts
She's a lesbian, Harold
She only had a crush on Clay bc he was pretty much everything she was supposed to like in a guy
Gimme a moment while I force all my mental disorders onto this poor child
Autistic, Anxiety (Social anxiety, mainly, but she has most types), Adhd, PTSD
I'd like to reiterate yet again that She's a lesbian
Sunny and Glory were her gay awakening
Peril in Book 1: Damn, Sunny and Glory sure are pretty. Anyone would be lucky to date them. Clay would probably go for them over me. He would be stupid if he didn't. I myself would willingly date them over someone like me. They're just so pretty :(
Peril waking up in a cold sweat in the middle of arc 2: WAIT-
Rarepair alert but Peril/Sora
Peril meeting Sora: "Hmmm She's attractive. I would love to date her. Too bad I'm straight and in love with her brother lmao :P"
Peril, a mere month later, waiting for Ruby to leave Jade Mountain, pacing in her cave, running face first into a wall: WAIT-
I remember reading this one amazing story where Sora taught Peril to read/write and Peril found out she set off the bomb and comforted her/convinced her her run so that's canon now
Btw if anyone can remember what that story was called/what platform it was on and could tell me I'd appreciate it very much
I'd even be willing to draw a character of your's or make you an icon or something
I usually don't accept requests bc I get burnt out easy but this is a special case
She runs into Sora again sometime between the beginning of TOP and the end
I like to imagine she just goes wandering around
Anyway she confesses like a mere few minutes after running into her again bc Peril is just subtle like that
The actual confession takes 15 minutes and the entire time Sora is just sitting here like "👁👄👁 sure"
Bam Peril/Sora
Peril plans to keep it a secret for a little while longer but she spends 3 seconds around Clay and pretty much blurts it out
Clay, who wasn't even aware that Peril was a lesbian, is just "👁👄👁"
I wanna say Clay doesn't know what a lesbian is but in my canon Sunny is a lesbian so Starflight has already told him
Anyway he's super supportive
From that point Peril is sorta open about her sexuality?
Like, she gives Clay permission to tell the rest of the D.O.D bc she isn't about to risk being in front of them when they hear the news
(When Sunny starts actively seeking her out as a hang out buddy and Tsunami, Glory, and Starflight appear to tolerate her presence just a bit more afterwards she pretends she isn't confused by the change)
She's pink, white, and blue bc I said so
If you look at a certain angle in the right lighting her eyes, mouth, fire, and under her scales all look purple
But her fire is normally white and blue bc I said so
Also she pale as fuck bc in my canon their fire just sorta burns their colour away
You know how you leave something outside for too long and it gets sunbleached? Where it gets all washed out?
Like that but more extreme
By the age of 10-12 firescale dragons are just white with pale eyes
That's right not even the eyes are safe
Ram horns :P
I'm also fond of Peril/Sunny
Or maybe Peril/Sora/Sunny
But Peril/Sora is the main thing
On the topic of that bringing in my hc that if one sib in a sib group is fire resistant all of them are
She,,, She can change her scale colour
But only slightly and only if her emotions are strong enough
Bc I don't give a fuck about Darkstalker's scroll we were robbed of hybrid Peril
Unfortunately all of Peril's emotions are strong
Rainwing ruff along her head and neck
It's like a hood
It's mainly smoothed to her sides but when she's startled it flares out
RAINWING PUPILS
Y'all will know what those look like as soon as I get off my ass :P
She,,, She can mimic bird cries
Hates the summer
She has more than enough body heat already and the outside is just hot enough to add on and make her feel sick
She can somewhat control her heat but most of the time it's based on her emotions
It can go from standing-in-the-middle-of-a-burning-building-cant-see-your-nose-smoke-is-so-thick heat (Strong emotion) to Hey-thats-a-nice-cozy-campfire heat (Calm/"weak" emotion/Sleeping)
I'm just gonna make a different post with all my Peril hcs cuz there isnt enough room for all of them here

Class 1-A was just chatting and doing their thing when Aizawa walked in, looking even more dead inside than other days. He sighed and spoke “Okay class, listen up. Today, we managed to catch two members of the League of Villains. But Nedzu had an amazing idea” he said in his usual tired voice, with a hint of annoyance in his tone. “To not arrest them, but- t” “WHAT” A loud voice exclaimed “YOU ARE JUST GOUNG TO LET THOSE FREAKS FREE?!” Aizawa sighed “no. Nedzu had the amazing idea to put the villains in rehabilitation. Here at UA. The 2 of them will be attending classes and sleep in the dorms.” Aizawa didn’t get the change to explain further when Toga Himiko burst into the room in all her glory “hello new classmates!!! We are going to have so much fun! Can I stab you?” the entire class looked at her in shock. Sero spoke up next “I am afraid to know who is the other one” “It’s-“ Toga was interrupted by the door opening once again, revealing All Might and Endeavour holding a struggling young woman with black hair, wearing baggy clothing, a trench coat, handcuffs and a muzzle. Bakugou burst out laughing. The figure growled and looked up, suddenly completely stopped struggling and getting a calm expression on her face. “let go” Endeavour and All Might looked at each other, let go and left. Only then the class could see who it was. Dabi. She looked at Aizawa “I am an adult, I don’t belong here.” Aizawa smirked “oh are you? Well since you don’t tell us your name, you can’t prove that, so yes you belong here. Now introduce yourselves”
Dabi’s right eye twitched, while Toga smiled and half-screamed “Hey! Hello! My name is Toga Himiko!! I am sure we are going to be really good friends!!” Dabi sighed and gave a death glare at the class. Aizawa walked over to her and took of the muzzle and repeated “introduce yourself” “fuck you” Aizawa grabbed her by the back of her neck and growled “introductions are in order. N o w.” Dabi smirked “Hai my name is Jared, I’m 19 and I never knew how to fucking read” this earned a laugh from most of the students, and a smack the head from Aizawa ‘totally worth it’ she thought.
Dabi sighed when she sat down at the back of the class. Everyone stared at her, it made her really uncomfortable, especially seeing Shouto. She had thought to reveal who she was a lot in the past, but her plan always was to do it when she killed Endeavwhore, and then turn herself in to local authorities, and tell everything she knew about the league. But not only did she begin caring about the league, she also was taken the chance of killing Todoroki Enji. The worst part, she didn’t really hate UA that much. The thought of finally, for the first time in her life, spending time with others girls that aren’t crazy and blood obsessed is not that bad.
Also, finally being able to protect her little brother was also a plus.
When class was over, she and Toga were called by Eraserhead to follow him to the dorms, to give them a tour around them, assign their dorms, and give them time to decorate. After that they would go to Nedzu for the basic rules, and -surprisingly- to collect their new phones. The phones would be monitored by UA and most of the things Toga did on the phone would be seen by Nedzu, but Dabi’s phone was less secured because she was an Adult.
[Class 1-gAy]
Pika Pika Bitch: so… what are you guys’ opinion on the villains so far??
(g)rapist: Toga is really weird, but Dabi… is hot! I mean look at her?
Mom(o): Mineta. No.

good morning call — one
[ bakugou katsuki x reader, chapter one ]
this is going to be a longer series that i posted on my quotev so initially i didn't want to post it on tumblr, buuuut i think it’ll be okay. ! based on primarily the Netflix Original series Good Morning Call. side note, im totally gonna end up writing separate endings for other boys because Daichi is too sweet.
summary: you were eager to start your new life in your brand new apartment, but those dreams were kind of crushed when the cold heartthrob from your high school shows up and claims its his apartment, too. no quirk / modern AU
warnings: she/her pronouns, a little bit cliche
word count: 1.6k+
.   .   .
(Name) held up the small key attached to the ring, a dainty bee charm dangling next to it. She couldn't help but smile, excited to start the next chapter of her life. With a small skip in her step, she walked to school alongside her friends. Mina Ashido, and Kaminari Denki. The two were lively, and the trio were rarely caught apart from one another at school. Mina was outspoken, and extroverted. She worked well to balance out (Name's) more mellow and soft nature. While Kaminari was lighthearted and fun, and wouldn't hesitate to make a fool of himself to make the other two girls laugh.
"Aaah! He's here!" Mina squealed, rushing her friends over to the side. (Name) cocked her head a bit, confused. It was only when the girls' of her school turned their heads in sync. Walking down the hall was a blank-face second year, and he seemed almost oblivious to the girls who started screaming excitedly at the sight of him. "Bakugou Katsuki! He's so cool. Rumor has it he's a bad boy, too! Be still my beating heart!" (Name) pursed her lips at the sight of the boy blatantly rejecting a first-year's invitation to a Christmas party. She watched the scene unravel, three girls approaching the girl, all undeniably beautiful. They were known for their various traits, their leader being the golden-girl, with her proper manners and high grades. Intelli Saiko, a demanding girl with white hair. She always stood in the middle, which only asserted her dominance. The next, known for her bad-girl edgy type persona, Utsushimi Camie. Perhaps her skirt was pulled up a bit higher than the others, and maybe her shirt was unbuttoned a bit lower than everyone else's. Boys were easily drawn to her. The last was Himiko Toga, a cute girl who always seemed to have a smile on her face. Regardless, there seemed to be something more sinister lurking behind her bright and bubbly exterior. (Name) could only sigh. How sad it was to be mesmerized by someone so cold.
.
.
.
"M-Mom!" (Name) stuttered, rapidly trying to wash her hands and talk to her mother on the phone at the same time. "Hold on, please!" With that, she ran up to the roof as her mom scolded her playfully to hurry. The sun made her squint as she stepped outside, the scenery bringing a smile to her face.
"Make sure to take care of yourself, and if you need anything, call us!"her mother exclaimed cheerfully from the other end of the phone.
"Yes, of course. Okay, I have to go, see you!" With that, she hung up and sighed. Pushing her hair out of her eyes, (Name) stuffed her phone back into the pocket of her blazer. Today was going to be a busy day, but the thought of furnishing her new apartment made her giddy.
"Hey."
(Name) squeaked, turning around hastily. "You scared me!" The face was unmistakable—the way his eyes seemed to narrow when he stared at girls, and how his lips parted slightly in irritation. Bakugou Katsuki. (Name) gulped, instinctively tensing her shoulders as he approached.
"You're the one who wanted to talk to me? You're awful plain looking to be threatening me like this." He held his phone out to her, (Name's) brow furrowed in confusion. Reading over the note made her gasp. "If you don't meet me on the roof at lunchtime, I will...Oh!"
Bakugou seemed confused. "You're surprised even though you wrote it? How stupid." (Name's) lips parted in mild shock. Who was this guy to be calling her stupid? "I didn't write that mail." Bakugou stared down at her, hands in his pockets. He turned to leave without another word. "Hey! You made a mistake, you don't get to be sour!" (Name) called out, arms folded over her chest. She continued, looking down in hesitation before continuing. "And...You should be nicer to girls. You can't be mean to them just because they admire you. What if they jumped for real?"
"...Leave me alone."
"What?! I'm just trying to be helpful!" Bakugou seemed to scoff at that, pitying her with only a sideways glance. His face made her want to scream. "Your zipper is undone...Just trying to be helpful." he mocked before leaving through the doors. (Name) looked down to see that her skirt zipper was indeed undone, and the blush that rose to her cheeks was burning hot. What a smug bastard...Who could be that cold to anyone?! (Name) was effectively frustrated as she clenched her fists and groaned.
"That guy...He's the worst!!"
.  .  .
"So, (Name), are you excited to live on your own? I'm a bit scared for you," Kaminari noted, glancing down at his friend. She only smiled back up at him and waved off the concern. "No, I'll be okay! I'm really excited, actually." Mina smiled at her friend's own glee, and the three seemed to be in high spirits. Kaminari sighed, shrugging his shoulders. "Still, it's a bit scary for a girl to live on her own...You know, if you ever get scared and need someone to hold, I'm always available." Kaminari's attempt to flirt was shot down by (Name's) oblivious smile.
"Thanks, but I think I'll be okay! Oh, look who it is!" (Name) chirped. "Eijirou! Hello!" Kaminari sighed at (Name's) diverted attention, and Mina could only console him with a pitiful pat on the shoulder.
Kirishima Eijirou, (Name's) kind childhood friend and third year who always spared time to offer (Name) a word of advice, or even just a smile. He waved back at her, stepping through the fence of the sports field to go talk. "(Name)! Nice to see you passing by. Are you off to your new apartment?"
"I am! And you're free to visit any time," she hummed. Kirishima stepped forward, chuckling and placing a gentle hand on (Name's) head. "You live alone now, you shouldn't invite guys over to your place so care-free, okay?"
(Name) blushed, giggling at his antics. The two had known each other for so long, that Kirishima was like a brother-figure to (Name). "I'm a big girl now, I can take care of myself!" Kirishima could only smile fondly at the other, ruffling her hair before glancing back at the football team. (Name) got the hint moving forward to hug Kirishima. "I'll let you go now! I'll see you later, Eijirou!" The red-headed boy flushed, laughing nervously and scratching his cheek. Sometimes he still found himself caught off guard by how openly touchy (Name) was, even if he should've come to accept it by now. "Have fun unpacking, and text me as soon as you're done!"
"Of course! Bye-bye, Eiji!"
.  .  .
(Name's) day of relaxation was quickly taken over by box, after box, after box. She knew that the trouble of moving would be all worth it once everything was in its' proper place, but for now, she sighed. It all just seemed too overwhelming at the time.
"Awe, cheer up, (Name). This place is huge, and for only 80,000 yen a month? I'm jealous," Mina groaned, leaning back on (Name's) bed. The three were sat in the floor, using a box as a makeshift table for their snacks. After they helped (Name) move all of the boxes in, they decided to take a break. Luckily, Kaminari had been kind enough to bring a bag of treats.
"I wouldn't say jealousy...I mean, ever wonder why the place is so cheap? Maybe it's...y'know..." Kaminari muttered, pressing a curious finger to his lip. Mina gaped, smacking the boy lightly on his shoulder. "Don't say that, Denki you dunce! You'll make (Name) scared!" The girl at question gulped, looking around cautiously. The three were silent, (Name) feeling more nervous than ever. A crash sounded from outside, the high pitched noise causing (Name) to squeal and throw herself forward into Kaminari's arms. "Noo!" she screamed, covering her face. The blonde boy reddened, instinctively wrapping his arms around the smaller girl. "You guys can't leave! My apartment is haunted!"
"See what you did!" Mina scolded, pulling (Name) away from Kaminari. "I'm sorry, (Name), but we have to get going...We don't have an apartment to ourselves, and our parents need us home. But rest assured! There are no ghosts in your place, it was just Denki trying to scare you." Mina cooed at the other, patting her hair supportively. (Name) whimpered, but complied and showed them to the door. Standing at the doorframe, (Name) looked up at Kaminari with doe eyes. "Denki? Do you promise my place isn't haunted?"
"I promise, (Name)," he laughed, sticking his pinky out and interlocking it with hers. "Pinky promise." Hesitantly, (Name) nodded and said goodbye to her friends.
.  .  .
(Name) sighed, looking pathetically down at the cup of flavoring salt she placed by her door. Surely that wasn't enough to keep the demons out, but it granted her at least some peace of mind. Still, she was jumpy, and the sound of movements and suspicious thuds coming from the outside made her feel on edge. Maybe it was a bit embarrassing to be as jumpy as she was, even moreso considering she jumped by her phone sounding off, but her friends made her think of the worst. (Name) yelped, the sound coming from outside resembling too much like a sharp knock on the door for her comfort. Escaping into her room, her hands shakily gripped a racket. Gulping, (Name) approached the door, hiding behind a wall. As the door opened, her heart dropped.
Footsteps sounded through the entryway of her apartment before nearing. (Name) squeezed her eyes shut, immediately smacking the intruder with her weapon. "Robber! Criminal!" Her attack method wasn't the most elegant, hands moving wherever they could without a hint of precision.
"What the fuck—?!" (Name) peeked her eyes open, dropping the racket upon seeing who stood in front of her.
"Y-You...?"
Bakugou Katsuki was in her apartment.

Hey, it’s me again- Danganronpa AU anon... 3H Anon? I’ll call myself 3H for now, it’s simpler. Hope you don’t mind me responding!
Anyways, that’s. Fair- I’ll admit I tend to charge ahead without thinking, so I hadn’t quite considered the ramifications of so many characters... [eyes Teruteru, Hiyoko, and Korekiyo] I could always toss the unnecessary baggage, I guess. And switching POVs also isn’t a bad idea!
Oh yeah that’s definitely something I have to think more about, don’t worry! I’m torn between “the Mastermind arranged it beforehand” and “the Mastermind uses innocent their attempts to organize before the Killing Game was announced against them,” but I’m indecisive so I’m not quite solid yet, ahaha. But! Having the leaders being the ones voting is a good idea, definitely clears up having so many votes- And it adds some potential for guilt because what if they have to vote off one of their own? Though that begs the question of if the murderers are told they can escape with the rest of their group or their leader or something like that- Either way, Kaede and Makoto and Hajime wouldn’t stand for that, but it’s logistics I have yet to really work out (in my defense, Killing Games can already be pretty complicated).
As for timespan- I’m torn. On the one hand, a quicker, murder-a-week scenario would keep with the pace of the games, but on the other hand, a more drawn out game would allow feelings of unease to fester... Hm. Of course, I could also see it being both, depending on how Monokuma does things and who the motives are targeting.
Speaking of motives, but for the game itself- Not sure yet, in all honesty! I’m kinda leaning towards an outside force being the Mastermind, with a spy or two on the inside, but that leaves the question of why... Which, I’ve always thought the NDRV3 plot twist of “it’s a TV show” had more potential than they used- Maybe something based on that? Like, rich people are paying and setting it up? Or it could take a page from SDR2 and use VR... Maybe both? I’m very unsure, I haven’t gotten super far in planning yet- It’s a lot of baseline stuff, but nothing concrete.
As for the teams... For starters, I’m not sure who the Mastermind is quiiite yet. I’ll figure it out eventually, though. Probably not Junko though, because the idea of her still being obsessed with Despair, but not As Much, is interesting to me.
Yeah, that was kinda the thought process in regards to Nagito- If he’s given the ability to choose, he’d go for someone with a “real” talent (since it’s established he doesn’t think of luck as one).
That makes sense for Byakuya! He’s be more taken with someone who stands up to him, and Makoto is... Ah, not that- At least not at first. I’ll probably stick him with Kaede, in that case, because I feel like their interactions would be the most interesting.
Hmmm that makes sense for Fuyuhiko! I hadn’t actually thought about that resemblance, good point... Which, maybe that plays into a starcrossed lovers thing, like you mentioned? Peko could be somewhere else, and god knows that’d devastate them both.
That’s. A good point, Mikan would work best with someone not as pushy as the other two leaders- If nothing else, Makoto reminds me of a cream puff, and it’s hard to find that intimidating.
Thanks for responding to my last message, by the by! I appreciate the feedback (also, bold of you to assume I'm capable of writing).
Sorry for answering so late, 3H-san!
It’s understandable that you want to cut people from the cast, but once you do, you then have to justify it. I don’t like canon Kiyo that much, but he’s someone’s fav and they’re going to ask why he was cut. You’re going to need a satisfying narrative answer for those types of people or risk losing their readership. (the only real solution I’ve thought of is something similar to the beginning of ndrv3 where everyone is chased to the gym, only this time certain people don’t make it and get killed. This would allow some bonding by trauma, allow the hopes to save certain people and kickstart there yan parts of their dere, AND get rid of certain people) (tho I do suggest keeping Kiyo, he’s good for the drama)
(for a mastermind idea, what if it was kirigiri’s dad? there’s no tragedy in this verse so he could totally be a villain)
Timespan wise, keep in mind that the longer the game goes on, the more likely it would be for some type of law enforcement to find them. Or for one of their loved ones to break them out.
More characters!
I’m assuming that each team needs 5 from each class (assuming that ur still into the whole 48 people killing game).
Kaede’s team:
Tenko should go to Kaede, since tenko would never willingly take orders from a man. She’d probably drag Himiko over too (making five class 79 characters). For class 77 (u mixed up the order, 77 are Ultimate Despair), I stand by Fuyuhiko, but Sonia and Gundam would make for good members. Maybe Sonia remembers Kaede from when she played piano for her dad? And while teruteru would try to be on her team, Ibuki would get there before him. For class 78, Chihiro would be a good fit, he would feel more comfortable with a female leader. Add in Byakuya, and I think the last space here should be taken by Celeste, she would make for a wonderful possessive yandere (plus she could play off Kokichi).
Makoto team: 78: Since everything else is filled in with Naegi’s harem, he can have yamada and suffer (also, can you really see Hajime or Kaede putting up with him?) 79: Keebo, bc cinnamon rolls stick together. Maki, bc I’m trying to put at least one high key protector character on each team. Gonta, see Keebo’s explanation. and Ryoma, bc depression. 77: Soda, bc like the protector characters, having one inventor type keeps things balanced. And Hiyoko, since Koizumi can deal with her.
Hajime’s team: 77: filling in the rest, teruteru, peko, akane, and nekomaru (only now do i realize how many fighters are on Hajime’s team, damn. but he also has many problem people, so... 78: Aoi, Sakura, Mondo 79: Miu, Kaito.
these are just ideas, mind you.

Yandere Boku no Hero Academia Masterlist
A separate masterlist for all the BNHA fans out there!
Main masterlist is here
Last updated: 09-08-2020
Shouto Todoroki
Eating His Heart Out {R}
Never once in his life had Shouto doubted your love. However, aside from the age gap and powers, there was another difference between you. Interests.
Aegis
All you wished for was a break from your growing paperwork, someone to pamper you and ease the pressure like a lover would. And that was what Shōto thought, too. But his way of showing it was… startling, to say the least.
Tokoyami Fumikage
Cut A Deal
You’ve prayed for something to happen, but what came next was completely outside your expectation. But were you really in the position to protest despite your vague wish?
Forlorn Hope {R}
There was no better nor kinder scenario, but you supposed it was the consequence of suicide. At least, it was better than marrying that damned crow. Because anything was better than being his partner, honestly. But alas, you didn’t get to choose your fate. You never did, anyway.
Yaoyorozu Momo
Pay No Mind
Because she was a hero, and it was her duty to save you from those nasty bastards that wouldn’t hesitate to take advantage of your naivety.
Fool’s Paradise {R}
It was kind of ironic, really, given her first name was Momo. But the flowers described your opinion of her better than words could ever do; fascinating personality. But you didn’t know that they had also given her tacit permission to kidnap you.
Adamantine {R}
Frankly, if you were to set aside her guile for a moment, she hadn’t done anything wrong to warrant such treatment from you. Despite the glum she expressed whenever you rejected her feelings, Yaoyorozu respected your boundaries. And you would’ve appreciated the sentiment too, had she didn’t lock you in her house.
Mirio Togata
Keep Safe
Mirio had a lot of fears, and one of them included your death.
In The Dark {R}
Out of all scathing words Mirio had ever heard in his entire life, this was what struck him the most. You – his long-time crush, his everlasting obsession, and his first and only love – didn’t even remember him, let alone his name. Just how focused you were with school until you had overlooked his existence?
A Long Way
But he wouldn’t be Mirio if he wasn’t optimistic. After a good, long cry, he always took a deep breath and prayed that everything would be better. And indeed, everything had gotten better ever since.
Toga Himiko
Accidentally On Purpose
Charming and attractive weren’t the words that you would use to describe yourself. You were as plain as your average self could be. But not for her.To her, you were the prettiest girl she had ever laid her eyes on. Sure, you’d made some mistakes here and there. But weren’t all humans have their faults?
Eyes on You
If there was one thing that you learned about Toga, was that she could be rather shameless sometimes. And today wasn’t an exception. She was staring at you. Again. But this time, she didn’t bother to look away.
Tamaki Amajiki
Under Thumb
Tamaki knew it was wrong. Dating you wouldn’t bring him any benefit than making him the next, perfect target for... whatever reasons you had. But against his better judgment, he did that anyway.
Kimi no Egao
But then, he realized that the reason why he grabbed the flowers was that he wanted to comfort you. He wanted to make you smile again. And yet, Tamaki wouldn’t lie that his intention was one hundred percent pure. Like most folks, there was a trace of selfishness hidden in there.
One Step Closer
Tamaki knew that it wasn’t good to delude himself into thinking that you were truly glad to meet him. But that was okay. At least, he was finally one step closer to you now, regardless of how far the destination seemed.
Aizawa Shouta
Yandere! Aizawa Headcanons {R}
Headcanons about how Aizawa reacts as a yandere.
Dashed Hopes
It was yearning for something. But what could it possibly want from her? Its small and lean body didn’t display any sign of abuse that would provoke suspicion. And yet, it stared into her eyes like it was begging her. Like she was its only hope or something.
Quagmire {R}
He wasn’t a villain. He was a hero. Someone who protected people, although his method of protection to you was stifling at best. But he only had the best interest in mind, right? You were still at his mercy, right?
Kouji Kouda
Give A Rest
His love story might not be as beautiful as those fairy tales nor it would end in similar happily ever after, and he might not be able to love his future wife the same way as he did to you, but Koda knew better than to take for granted your occasional presence. It wasn’t much, but at least he could color your otherwise dull life however little and transient the happiness he gave.
Nejire Hadou
Spitting Image
Tainted Fealty was your very first fiction. Ironically, this illogical story was what led you to meet your online friend and soon-to-be captor, Nejire Hadō. You totally could’ve prevented this from happening had you realized that your very first fan was, in fact, her. But how would you know that ‘Neji’ was the pro Hero whom you had long admired?
Hawks
Heart Of Stone {R}
Despite his reputation as the second Hero, you always thought Hawks was a bit shady. You knew he was kind and took his job seriously from time to time. However, there was something about him that induced you to keep your guard up. Now, you understood the reason why you felt wary of him.
Abscond {R}
Headcanons about Yandere! Garou and Yandere! Hawks react to their darling escaping.
Shinsou Hitoshi
Set Up
It wasn’t – and would never be – a good idea to solve the problem. But how could you care about him after he had practically used your cat against you? However, you would soon learn how much of a bad idea it was to resort to violence.
Repudiate {R}
Shinsō had always known that you didn’t really mean those things. A clear sign that you weren’t into him as much as he did to you. But he chose to turn a blind eye, instead. Because it was better to pretend than confronting reality, honestly.
Entrench {R}
He didn’t want to do this, but the root of the problem had always been your cat, anyway. Not his pettiness, not his egoism, and definitely not his insecurity, but it was him. Your beloved pet.
Atrabilious {R}
If the Gods were benign enough to grant your humble wish, if fate pity you enough to relieve some of your agonies, you could at least face his offspring and smile for the first time in years. But beggars can’t be choosers, can they? Especially when they were products of your so-called ‘love’.
Imperious {R}
He was the face of the school now, so there was nothing for you to be worried about. Then again, the world hadn’t been kind to you ever since your abrupt separation with Shinsō. It was as though you were doomed to be the bad end of the stick while he got the pleasant one.
Rejected {R}
Headcanons about how Yandere! Shinsou to a darling who keeps rejecting because she thinks it’s a joke.
What I Want To Hear
Funny how the police didn’t even think about suspecting him or even got suspicious with his sudden absence. Then again, it was proof of how sly he could be when he wasn’t trying to attract attention. And it was funny, in a somewhat ironic way, that he was doing this just to grab your attention.
Recrudescence
All Shinsou wanted to do tonight was to greet you, his dearest ex. However, the sudden existence of your boyfriend, showing the affectionate display that he used to do, reignited the feelings he’d tried to hide for so long. Luckily, a harmless revelation opened a door of opportunities for him.
Dabi
Take Over
Dabi never liked it when a human lived in his house. And now, these new inhabitants – these trespassers – had the guts to invite an exorcist. And yet, after seeing the exorcist, he couldn’t bring himself to do it. More like, he didn’t want to.
Kaminari Denki
Evince {R}
You always wondered how and why did he know you. It wasn’t as if you were a hero or police officer, really. So there was no reason for him to fall for you, right? But he chose you instead, for some unknown reason.
Midoriya Izuku
Cross His Heart {R}
As always, he just had to ruin the good things that happened to you for the sake of appeasing some petty emotion called ‘jealousy’. Of course, this wouldn’t happen if he wasn’t so paranoid. However, it was easier said than done.
Manna
How long has it been since he occupied this library? Izuku didn’t know, nor did he care much. All he cared about was the fact that he was able to simultaneously sit near you while pretending to study. Pretending, because why would he spend hours learning materials that he’d memorized when you literally sat right in front of him?
Chisaki Kai
Nostrum {R}
Kai never permitted you to binge eating, anyway, or doing things that he deemed as ‘detrimental’ to your health. And you understood his concern, you really did. Because you were his girlfriend, thus, you deserved his consideration. But you didn’t want it.
Rikidou Satou
Antinomy
Rikidō was a sweet guy, as sweet as his creations. On one hand, they satisfied your cravings, especially during certain months. And yet, on the other hand, you didn’t want him to think you’d given up and accepted his affection. But it was hard to resist him when he was just so… endearing.  And you hated it.
Kirishima Eijirou
Samaritan
Kirishima had been thinking about revealing his existence, but never once did he realize it. However, Kirishima knew that he needed to do it sooner or later. And he finally found the right opportunity to do it on one fateful night.
Au Revoir
Kirishima didn’t think he could love someone as much as he did to you. Was this what ‘moving on’ felt like? Though, he couldn’t help but wonder if he was just making excuses for his feelings. That he wasn’t actually moving on, more like, rebounding.
Bakugou Katsuki
Inexorable
It’d be great if you were a bit more open-minded, though. Relationships were unlikely to happen if both parties refused to compromise, and your rebellion made it harder for him to show you the true extent of his love.
Good Boyfriend
Everything he’d done and told to you was based on your best interest. At least, that was what you hoped. However, the reality was far more complicated and sinister. And unwittingly, you’d fallen to his so-called kindness.
Taishirou Toyomitsu
Palladium {R}
Toyomitsu had invited you to eat at his house. Sensing your hesitation, he reassured you that ‘no harm was done’. Just because you rejected him, didn’t mean you couldn’t be his friend, right?
Iida Tenya
I Swear on My Life
You were right; anyone would be angry if they saw someone hurting others. Which was why he needed to protect you, so nobody would be able to harm you anymore. Because as long he was still alive, he’d protect every inch of your being. After all, he’d sworn on his life.

How would the NDRV3 kids (minutes Gonta and Shinguuji of course) react if they somehow found out about the Shinguuji+Gonta/fem!SO bondage relationship?
I love that you guys are so interested in this pair! This Request is based on a series of imagines I’ve written, you can find those here! Enjoy!
This isn’t that NSFW, but some NSFW themes below!!
Original | Part 2: Someone breaks into their home | Part 3: Kidnapping roleplay
V3 Cast Finding Out About Gonta Gokuhara x Fem!S/O x Korekiyo Shinguuji’s Bondage Relationship!
Kaede Akamatsu
Kaede would find out about your… special relationship bycomplete accident. Since she is close friends with Gonta, they talk in class frequently when they have downtime. Somehow, the topic of relationships came up in conversation and he started talking about you, accidentally mentioning Korekiyo’s name as well.
Confused, Kaede draws in her eyebrows and questions him. Korekiyo overhears this, and before he gets the chance to step in, Gonta realizes what he says and, well, he can’t keep his mouth shut.
She would immediately turn red-faced and become incredibly flustered, dropping her pencil and her bag frantically as she apologized, insisting that she didn’t mean to bring up any private ‘activities.’
When Kaede gets uncomfortable, she can’t help but to giggle, and she couldn’t hold them back. Korekiyo’s intervention only made her more uncomfortable and intensified her blush.
She definitely wouldn’t judge you, and would make sure that everything is consensual and healthy. Sure, Kaede would be shocked and unsure of how to react, but she would still be supportive of her friends.
She’s more embarrassed for her sake than yours since she feels like she crossed a line and heard some details about your intimacy that she definitely didn’t want to know.
It takes Kaede a long time to finally be able to look any of you in the eye again, quickly apologizing and blushing whenever she saw you three together… the image is burned into her memory.
But she won’t shame or belittle you. People like what they like.
Saihara Shuichi
Saihara would probably find out onhis own. He would be able to use his Detective abilities to analyze theirbehavior and tell that something was wrong. Since you were in a different class from Gonta and Korekiyo, he started to worry that something was happening between those two and wanted to warn you about it, like a good friend would.
He’s seen the two men flirting in class, but they always tried to hide it. Saihara could read them like a book, though, and he knew that if he was in your position, he’d want to know. Still, he was surprised that someone like Gonta would be unfaithful.
So, he approaches you after school one day before Gonta left and told you what he saw - about their quick touches and too close for comfort contact that certainly wasn’t just platonic.
As soon as he brings it up, you start blushing furiously. Not long afterwards, Gonta joins you and Saihara gives him a dirty look. You do your best to diffuse the situation, but things escalate from there.
Before the two can start arguing, you cut it off. “No, Shuichi! It isn’t what it looks like… I know about it and, well, we have a… relationship, strictly for intimate purposes and-”
That’s when he cuts you off, Saihara’s jaw dropping. Did he just hear you correctly? Oh boy, his Detective brain really over-thought the situation and now he’s embarrassed.
Regardless, he’d be a little bit stunned at first. He was one of the biggestsupporters of yours and Gonta’s relationship, but he thought that this was abit too extreme for him.
It’s not his place to judge, he just sometimes wished he didn’t figure it out in the first place. Curse his talent.
Maki Harukawa
Maki finds out about your bondage relationship by complete accident and it was totally unintentional. She doesn’t try breaching people’s privacy by listening to their private conversations, but sometimes she catches wind of things she doesn’t want to hear.
The three of you gathered in the classroom before anyone else had arrived. Unbeknownst to you, Maki arrived a few minutes later and quietly sat outside of the classroom as she read a book.
You talked about your relationship freely since you didn’t think anyone else was around. Maki’s face twisted into a disgusted, perplexed expression as she wasn’t entirely sure she was hearing things right.
She slowly stands and peeks her head into the room to announce her presence, and the three of you stopped immediately, your faces turning pale. You could tell by her reaction that she definitely overheard what you were saying.
Maki would be grossed out, not fully believing what she heard. She recognized that that was a normal thing, but she didn’t expect that from you three, especially. (Well, maybe Korekiyo, but still.)
Gonta immediately tried apologizing to her and instead she dismissively raised her hand and started backing away, leaving the room and walking down the hall without another word. “I don’t want to know, don’t apologize, just keep that to yourselves.”
She then tells you to keep away from her and you can feel her judging stare once class started. Maki melted into her seat and desperately tried to forget about what she heard.
Ouma Kokichi
Since Ouma and Gonta are friends, he’d probably find out through him directly. Gonta doesn’t fully understand the idea of boundaries and, although sharing is caring, he doesn’t realize that some things are better kept to yourself.
“Hey, Gonta, how are you and (Y/N)?” Ouma asks positively, looking for any way to tease him. Although, it was a genuine question since he cared about the large man more than most of your classmates, he just liked giving him Hell if the opportunity arises.
“Gonta and Korekiyo are fine!” He responds with a cheery smile, mishearing the smaller man and not realizing what he said. This caught Ouma’s attention, who latched onto the misstep and questioned him.
“What did you just say?” A sly smirk appearing on his face. Just then, it finally hit Gonta and he tried to cover up the mistake.
“N-nothing!” He responds frantically, but that won’t cut it with Ouma. He started to pry, and you intervened and dragged your boyfriend away from him before he said anything else on accident.
Regardless, Ouma is smart and he put the pieces together eventually. He was sharper than you’d like to admit, so he could instantly tell what was going on between you three.
He would probably start laughing uncontrollably, followed by a lot of teasing. Wiping a tear from his eye, he would pinch himself because he couldn’t believe it. From then on, you had to deal with plenty of snide comments from Ouma who clearly judged you, teasing and tormenting you as he used the relationship to blackmail each of you.
“People like freaky shit, what can I say?” He smirks, pretending as if he didn’t have some strong opinions, but you knew he did.
Himiko Yumeno
She had been trying to concoct some new ‘spells and potions’ that she insisted would work, and used Gonta as her voluntary test subject. Himiko told him that she had a potion that would get him to spill his deepest secrets, when in reality, she just liquidized laughing gas.
But Gonta didn’t know that and started to feel the side-effects very quickly. You were hesitant about Himiko’s so-called potion but you never thought it would actually work.
That’s when he started to ramble on about your relationship, dropping Korekiyo’s name, which caused suspicions to arise. Himiko tilted her head and questioned him, “Huh? Kiyo?”
“Yeah… Korekiyo, (Y/N) and Gonta have a special relationship…” You watched helplessly in horror as he spilled all of the details about the adult things you three did together.
Himiko quickly covered her ears and panicked, backing away from Gonta as she frantically tried to find a spell that would bring him back to his senses. She definitely wasn’t a fan and didn’t want to hear about that sort of thing.
“Nyeh! I wish I could cast a spell onmyself to forget I ever knew about this!” She exclaims as she runs around her Lab, trying desperately to find a cure. Himiko ended up convincing herself that it was all a dream, but you think she was just going into denial.
She started to laugh awkwardly since she got uncomfortable and refused to look at any of you for a long time after that. Anytime she was around you, she would blush and avoid eye-contact.
You felt bad, like you had stolen her innocence.
Rantaro Amami
Rantaro would probably makeassumptions and be able to put two and two together. He sees through all of the interactions between Gonta and Korekiyo, and can tell that something more is going on.
He would become protective over you, his brotherly instincts kicking in since he views you like he does his sisters. Rantaro would approach you and ask you directly if you knew about their relationship.
Your face was flushed as soon as he mentioned it, although you didn’t think Rantaro knew the extent of it all. Wordlessly, you nodded your head which caused some alarms to go off in his mind.
He originally just wanted to make sure that Gonta wasn’t being unfaithful to avoid you getting hurt in the future, but now he’s curious.
Knowing how sly he is, you were certain that he would figure it out eventually. You’ve always been able to trust Rantaro, so you preface it by asking him not to tell a soul, and after he makes a pinkey-promise, you tell him the basics.
He’d be a little bit surprised at first, his eyebrows rising. “Really?” Honestly, he was at a loss for words.
He’s chill though. Rantaro isn’t the type to judge others for what they do behind closed doors and he would be extremely supportive of you. He doesn’t tell Gonta or Korekiyo that he knows to maintain your friendship, and he keeps your secret safe.
Rantaro simply makes sure everything and everyone involved is safe and consensual above all else, and that you were happy. Otherwise, why should he care?
That’s all that matters
Tenko Chabashira
Out of everyone, she’s one of the last people you would want to tell about your relationship. She doesn’t mind Gonta as much as other men since he strives towards being a gentleman, but it still took her a long time to accept him and your romantic relationship.
She didn’t need to know what you did in the privacy of your own homes. With that said, Tenko finds out accidentally.
She would overhear your conversation before school started one day as she passed by your classroom. You weren’t in the same class as the boys, so she was visiting you. It wasn’t strange to see Gonta in your classroom, but why was Korekiyo there?
Curiosity killed the cat, and Tenko lingered in the hallway to try to find out for herself. Needless to say, she heard some things she didn’t want to hear and caused a scene.
Tenko isn’t going to be the mostunderstanding. You try to settle her down and explain yourself, but she’s not listening.
She always found Gonta to be much more tolerable than most men, mainly since you convinced her that he wasn’t so bad. But Korekiyo… he’s always given her the creeps. Why him of all people?
“Two degenerate males?! How could you?!” She exclaims, pointing fingers at them. They both try to calm her down but to no avail.
She would come across as pretty rude, but in the end she just wants to make sure that you’re happy. And if you are then she can tolerate your after school activities…
Tenko just doesn’t want to hear about it. Ever.
Kiibo
Kiibo has a heart of gold and he liked all three of you, considering you to be his friends. He was the closest to you, though, and he liked hearing about your relationship with Gonta. He always wished he could love the same way humans could, so he lived vicariously through you.
On a slip of the tongue, you would drop Korekiyo’s name which caused some confusion. “Korekiyo? Don’t you mean Gonta?” The Robot asked with a very lost expression on his face.
You tried hiding your blush as you correct yourself, making up some excuse but Kiibo sees through it.
Between your panicky words and behavior and his functions that allowed him to easily tell when others were lying, he quickly realized why you said Korekiyo’s name but didn’t want to believe it.
Kiibo would be a bit blunt, to say the least, and ask if he was ever involved in your relationship. With a nod, you start explaining how he became a part of yours and Gonta’s dynamic and perhaps you were too specific with details.
Kiibo would probably panic and shut off, his eyes turning into static and his system becoming unresponsive. He just… stopped working. You freaked out and tried finding the switch to turn him back on or restart him, but he didn’t want to be bothered.
When he finally comes to, Kiibo asks you to never speak of those things ever again. That’s a promise you have no issue with keeping, and from then on he tried acting as though everything was normal.
But Kiibo can’t forget, he’s memory drive doesn’t allow it, so now he’s scarred for life. Still, he’ll do his best to be okay with it as long as everything was consensual, blushing as he spoke about it.
Miu Iruma
I mean… it’s Miu.
She wouldn’t care about your relationship all that much and was instead more interested in your sex life, which isn’t surprising. Although she had good intentions and it was just sheer curiosity, she came across as a little bit too pushy.
She’d talk to you before class started, sitting backwards in her chair and leaning all too close as she interrogated you. “So, how’s Gonta?”
You didn’t pick up on her remarks at first until she started getting specific, asking about the different things you guys have ‘tried out’. Although you wanted to avoid answering such personal questions, Miu just wouldn’t let up. You give her a very vague answer and ask her to drop it.
Apparently you answer wasn’t vague enough and hinted at a third-party. She raised her brow and asked, “What do you mean? You don’t have threesomes, do you? Perverts!”
As soon as she said that, your face turned bright red. Even though she was joking, Miu could sense that she had stricken a chord and immediately burst into laughter. “No way! With who?!”
Your eyes subconsciously drifted over to Korekiyo without you even realizing it, and that sent her into an even louder fit of laughter.
Miu would love it, getting a real kick out of it and teased you. From then on, she made plenty of comments about your sexual relationship and would try checking up from time to time, though you didn’t really want to answer and she’s the last person you wanted to talk about this with.
“I didn’t know you were a bunch of freaks!” Miu exclaims, causing you to melt into your chair with embarrassment.
Kaito Momota
Kaito tends to have his head up in space, and he thinks he’s more of a ladies man than what he really is.
He would start by asking Gonta about yourrelationship, not intending to turn it into a sexual conversation at all. He was genuinely curious since Gonta was new to the dating world and Kaito was ready to give him some relationship advice.
Happily, Gonta told him that Korekiyo already had that covered. Confused, Kaito questioned him and commented, “I never took Kiyo as being much of a savant when it comes to the ladies.”
Then, Gonta accidentally blurted out a rather incriminating sentence about your bondage relationship. The Astronaut didn’t catch it at first, but when it finally settled in, he was stunned.
“Wait, what the fuck?!” He didn’t intend to come across as rude, but he couldn’t hold it back. His face turned red and Kaito started to get more flustered.
Gonta frantically tried to apologize and asked Kaito to forget everything that was said. With a thumbs-up, he told him he would try and promptly excused himself from Gonta’s general area, needing to catch some air.
He would be as supportive as possible, but if the subject did arise then he would become a bit embarrassed. As confident as he was and as much as he thought he was an expert in this field, Kaito didn’t want to hear all the details about what you three did together.
Angie Yonaga
You always thought Angie was an oblivious ball of sunshine, but maybe she wasn’t as clueless as you pegged her to be.
She started making comments about sexuality and compared them to her religious beliefs. Typically speaking, Angie was quite accepting and didn’t really judge others based on what they did in their spare time. As far as she’s concerned, that was none of her business.
While lecturing Ouma about Atua and her morals, he brought the topic of sexuality up. Angie made a comment about how Atua doesn’t really care what people do with their bodies, and since you and your boyfriend were an earshot away, she suddenly turned to you and asked, “Isn’t that right, Gonta and (Y/N)?”
The comment caught you off-guard, and in a half-asleep daze you added, “and Korekiyo.”
Now Angie was the one who was stunned. She blinks a few times, her eyes widening as she made the connection and started asking you for details. As soon as you realized what you said, you blushed and tried to cover it up, but she wasn’t convinced.
"Oh, that’s so sinful~!” Angie says with a bright smile on her face, before adding, “Just remember, Atua is always watching!”
That sentence really got under your skin and caused you to roll your eyes. Angie didn’t really mind and found it more humorous than anything else.
However, she did offer to sit in on one of your sessions so she could paint you three in the nude - you definitely weren’t taking her up on it, though.
Kirumi Tojo
Kirumi is fairly old-fashioned and doesn’t talk about these kinds of things very often. They’re never brought up which is perfectly fine as far as you’re concerned.
Korekiyo recently hired her to help him clean up his place, so she’s been visiting him and working as his Maid for quite some time now. She didn’t mind, she was happy to help a classmate out. Both you and Gonta knew about this but never thought it would be an interference.
She stopped by that morning before you two showed up, but happened to forget one of her personal belongings in Korekiyo’s home. Since he had given her a spare key, she gladly let herself in and walked towards the bedroom where she left it.
Well, you know where this is going.
Kirumi cracked the door and just briefly saw the scene that was unfolding, stopping dead in her tracks as she gasped and covered her mouth, quickly shutting the door and frantically apologizing from behind it.
She became extremely flustered and her entire face was red, so Korekiyo comforted her as he loosely got dressed and excused himself from your session. You and Gonta, on the other hand, hid under the covers in embarrassment, hoping that she didn’t see too much.
Kirumi respects other couple’s boundaries and acknowledges that that is a normal part of life, so she doesn’t judge you too harshly. She was just more shocked and embarrassed than anything else.
She asks you to give her a warning next time and tries to forget all about it by the next day.
Tsumugi Shirogane
Tsumugi didn’t want to know, but things happen.
Korekiyo was holding a house-warming party and most of your class showed up. In his home, he had two closets: one where he kept the clothes we wore, and one for… other things.
Since she’s so interested in cosplay and fashion, Tsumugi couldn’t help herself. Korekiyo took you and Gonta aside while everyone else was in the other room to show you where he relocated your ‘things.’
And of course, she overheard him talking about it. Out of curiosity, she slipped into his room after you three parted ways to find out what the hype was about. She thought he was hiding something new and exciting, like a cultural costume of some kind, but no…
When Tsumugi peered inside the closet to see all of the assorted goods and items you used during your sessions, her jaw dropped and her eyes widened, a blush forming on her cheeks.
At first, she freaked out and caused a scene. Korekiyo promptly tried to shut it down before she brought anyone else’s attention to your secret relationship, so he had to cover her mouth.
After the initial shock subsided, Tsumugi got all hot and bothered. “I knew you were a freak Korekiyo, but wow!” She says with glazed eyes. It was a bit disturbing, to say the least.
She just had so many questions about your relationship and what you three did together! She was genuinely curious, but Korekiyo refused to oblige. It made your friendship a bit strange and she started giving you odd looks whenever the three of you were together, but was generally supportive. (Maybe a bit too supportive, at that.)
Ryoma Hoshi
You can usually talk about these kinds of things around Ryoma since he doesn’t normally pay attention. He’s typically off in his own little world, his mind wandering into new places.
Sometimes you forget he’s even there. Ryoma is so quiet and Gonta is so careless that he started to openly talk about your relationship, forgetting that he was sitting just an earshot away and could easily hear whatever was being said.
He doesn’t usually like to snoop on others, but he happened to overhear this particular conversation and Ryoma’s eyes immediately went wide.
He really didn’t know what to think, never suspecting you three of something like that. He turned his head to stare at you, and Gonta’s heart sank instantly after he realized that he was being too loud and abrasive.
Although you tried to step in and apologize before things got too out of hand, Ryoma wordlessly stood and gathered his belongings, instead apologizing for the intrusion and excused himself.
As you called out for him to wait so you could explain, but he raised his hand dismissively and started to walk faster. “I don’t need an apology or an explanation, I’ve already heard too much and I don’t want to know any more, thank you.”
“But wait!” You insist; Ryoma just wasn’t having it. “No, it’s really my bad, I shouldn’t have been listening!”
He insists that he’s supportive and that he doesn’t care, but anytime he makes eye contact with any of you, he starts to immediately blush and becomes uncomfortable.

Danganronpa V3 Commentary: Part 5.4
Be aware that this is not a blind playthrough! This will contain spoilers for the entire game, regardless of the part of the game I’m commenting on. A major focus of this commentary is to talk about all of the hints and foreshadowing of events that are going to happen and facts that are going to be revealed in the future of the story. It is emphatically not intended for someone experiencing the game for their first time.
Last time, in chapter 5’s first day of free time, which should by all rights have finally been a segment with barely any Kaito focus, multiple invitation dialogues had me talking about heroes and sidekicks, we hung out with Maki and heard adorable stories of her best friend from the orphanage and the sacrifices she made for her… and then Himiko’s FTEs somehow managed to be an incredibly fitting metaphor for what’s been going on between Shuichi and Kaito, which may or may not be on purpose on the writers’ part but I sure had way too much fun with it regardless.
Shuichi:  (It’s nighttime. I *would* have been training…)
You could train without Kaito! You’ve done it before. Buuuut I don’t know how much good that would do to take Shuichi’s mind of his problems in this situation, because his biggest problem right now is intrinsically connected to the training itself, so he’d just be constantly reminding himself of it and worrying about it more.
*ding-dong!* *ding-dong!*
Unnecessary hypothetical tangent time! I’ve seen a few blind Let’s Players respond to this by wondering if it could be Kaito having come to talk to Shuichi. To which my immediate thought was “don’t you know it obviously can’t be Kaito; the doorbell didn’t ring a million times”.
But! Then I thought about it some more. If this was hypothetically Kaito having mustered up the courage to talk to Shuichi about what happened in the trial, he would still be convinced that Shuichi feels let down by and ashamed of him. Kaito would believe that Shuichi wouldn’t want to talk to him, and therefore that Shuichi probably wouldn’t answer the door if he knew it was Kaito. So Kaito would not want to make it clear it was him at the door by ringing it incessantly and would only ring the normal-person amount of times, to make Shuichi think it was somebody else. Which would be a fun reversal of the time in chapter 3 when Maki deliberately mimicked Kaito’s doorbell habits because she still felt that Shuichi wouldn’t answer the door if he knew it was her.
Anyway, that’s all a total hypothetical and Kaito does not in fact have the courage to face Shuichi whatsoever. It’s Maki at the door.
Maki:  “Kaito asked me earlier… to show him my research lab.”
Shuichi:  “Huh? Your lab?”
Maki:  “I might as well show him, since I know he won’t take no for an answer… So you have to come, too.”
She just says Shuichi “has” to come without explaining why that’s so apparently necessary. This is all about her trying to get Shuichi and Kaito in the same space so that they can potentially talk to each other and sort things out between them, but she’s not mentioning that here. Maybe she thinks that if she tells Shuichi that then he won’t want to come.
She then leaves after saying this without checking if Shuichi is actually coming with her. Clearly she has learned that if you tell Shuichi to do a thing in an assertive enough tone, he will probably do it. Kaito taught her that one.
Shuichi:  “…” (Maki invited me, so… I should go.)
Implying that he’s only going because Maki invited him and he doesn’t want to disappoint her. Meaning that he doesn’t want to go for Kaito’s sake and the chance of making up with him, like he’s just expecting everything between them to continue to be painful and awkward and there’s nothing he’d ever be able to do to fix that.
Tsumugi is hanging out in the courtyard looking up at the stars, and reminds Shuichi of what Gonta said once before about them looking different. She could have reminded us of this at any time up to this point, but she’s choosing to do so now. It’s almost like this is finally the chapter where all of the hints about the space thing are being dropped at once and she’s deliberately adding to that.
Tsumugi:  “With all the horrible things happening, I was always looking down… I need to thank Gonta.”
She’s still committed to her thing of caring about Gonta, at least. She didn’t drop that once he died (even though she’s one of the people responsible for his death). I guess he really was her favourite character.
Shuichi:  “Ah, sorry I’m late…”
Kaito:  “Hm? O-Oh… so you came, too…”
Kaito was not mentally prepared to suddenly be in the same room as Shuichi right now, was he.
Shuichi:  “Y-Yeah…”
Kaito:  “…”
Shuichi:  “…” (Silence.)
So much for Maki hoping that this would magically get them to talk to each other. They are both still convinced that the other doesn’t want to talk to them, so this was never going to happen just because they’re in the same room.
Maki:  *sigh*
(As if utterly bored by the painful silence, Maki started up a conversation.)
She is so frustrated at her friends continuing to be idiots like this.
Maki:  “Why did you ask to see my research lab so suddenly, Kaito?”
Kaito:  “Well… I just wanted to see what kind of weapons were here.”
Maki:  “What? Why would you want to see my weap—”
Kaito:  “But wow! There’s a ton of stuff here!”
Because he’s going to need a bunch of weapons for his brilliantly heroic plan that he’s been working on, of course! It’s a little surprising that he doesn’t mention that that’s what this is for here, especially the way he seems to deliberately cut off her question about it. Maybe he’s worried that Maki is going to try and talk him out of doing something reckless if he tells her the plan right now.
Kaito:  “But there’s no swords of any kind here – Japanese or western – right?”
Maki:  “I don’t use swords of any type. Not after I botched a mission with my katana.”
Which Kaito should already know, but that was an optional scene so we’re awkwardly pretending like he doesn’t.
Kaito:  “Either way, I don’t feel like weapons really suit women.”
Aaand here’s the final Misogyny Bullet to hit its mark. This one I can’t actually prove to be something that is objectively out of character for Kaito to think, because we’ve never heard anything about his thoughts on weapons at all up until now. But based on the fact that every other comment of Kaito’s like this was provably out of character, we can assume that this isn’t something we should take to heart as being a defining point about him either.
(This final one is literally only the fourth instance of this in the whole game. Four single lines. Just picture how absolutely tiny that molehill is, compared to the mountain of everything else Kaito ever says and does throughout five chapters of being one of the most prominent characters, all of which thoroughly contradicts him being that kind of person.)
Maki:  “Care to explain why you wanted to see my weapons?”
Kaito:  “Didn’t I tell you this morning? I’ve got a plan all figured out. Oh! What’s in that black case over there?”
(As if backing away from the conversation, Kaito headed to the far bookcase…)
He still seems to be trying to avoid talking about his plan as much as possible, probably because he doesn’t want Maki to question him on it and learn that he does not, in fact, have anything “all figured out” at all.
I also get the sense that Kaito “backing away from the conversation” like this is him finding a distraction that’ll give him an excuse to not have to talk to Shuichi either. Kaito knows perfectly well why Maki invited him, after all.
Kaito:  “Hm, so when you put them together, they become a crossbow. Looks interesting.”
Kaito is so curious and interested in anything and everything! Even when it’s a weapon, which he just said… well, let’s pretend he just said he doesn’t really like weapons in general. (It would make sense for Kaito to think that, since he’s all about people working together and communicating and using human creations to achieve great things, not using the fruits of human ingenuity to hurt each other.)
And Kaito’s really only interested in the crossbow for curiosity’s sake, rather than in terms of his plan, because he doesn’t include any crossbows in his big pile of weapons in the gym tomorrow.
Kaito:  “Hey Maki Roll… can you teach me how to put it together?”
He’s not even planning to use the crossbows on Monokuma and he has no idea he’s going to want to use one later either! He just wants to learn a cool thing!
Maki:  “And then, put that other part in the opposite way… Ah wait. That’s wrong.”
Kaito:  “Oh, my bad. It goes this way.”
Maki:  “Mmhm. Then, next it’s—”
It’s pretty cute to see Kaito being the one in the role of student, messing up sometimes and having Maki guide him and fix his mistakes. That’s a role Kaito is not usually comfortable putting himself in at all. Presumably he’s okay with this here because this is just an intellectual thing and there’s always more to be learned in that regard. This is quite separate from the kind of emotional and personal growth that he is always supposed to be in the teacher role for and definitely never need any help with himself.
Shuichi:  (While watching those two, the memory of a similar scene came to my mind.)
Shuichi’s talking about himself and Kaede, specifically the time she held his hand and encouraged him to be braver about his issues of facing the truth. Which… doesn’t have anything to do with Maki teaching Kaito how to build a crossbow? The only vague similarity is that Maki is giving Kaito guidance, but I just talked about how it’s a completely different type of guidance from emotional support and therefore not really that analogous at all. Any moment in which Kaito was encouraging Shuichi or Maki to fight their “enemy” earlier in the story would have been a far more appropriate moment for Shuichi reminiscence about this – after all, Kaito, rather than Maki, is the one who’s really parallel to Kaede.
The only other similarity is that there happen to be romantic feelings involved in both cases, which is clearly what the game is actually trying to get at. And that’s annoying. It makes no sense to try and link them together just because of that when they are otherwise completely different – they both involve two people bonding in some way, perhaps, but they’re completely different kinds of bonding and neither are inherently romantic and could just as well have happened if all the feelings involved were nothing but platonic. Maki certainly isn’t thinking about what she’s doing as some kind of peak romance. She’s just teaching Kaito how to build a goddamn crossbow. The fact that she incidentally happens to have feelings for him is completely irrelevant, and there’s nothing in her behaviour that suggests that’s on her mind right now.
The narrative’s treatment of Maki’s thing for Kaito can occasionally get a little amatonormative, which frustrates me. (It’s still pretty minor, though – I see far, far worse all the freaking time.) But Maki herself never makes as big of a deal about it as the narrative does, which is appropriate for her character and which I appreciate. The writing is slightly awkward about it, but it’s not the writing of Maki which is awkward, just the writing around her, so I don’t have an inherent problem with the fact that Maki feels this way.
Kaito:  “Whoa, since I built it, it became an extra-cool crossbow!”
Naturally. A Luminary of the Stars crossbow! He’s such a dork.
(And, given the state of mind he’s been in lately, he’s almost certainly completely faking his overblown opinion of himself now.)
Kaito:  “It seems like it’s a bit complicated… but I think I can do it by myself next time.”
You’re not even currently planning on there being a next time, Kaito!
Maki:  “…Shuichi, do you want to learn, too?”
While Maki started teaching Kaito because he asked, she offers to do the same for Shuichi out of nowhere. I get the sense that she’s trying to include him in what’s happening and give him and Kaito some common ground to maybe, just maybe, actually start a conversation over and slowly begin to close the gap between them.
(And the fact that she offered this to Shuichi goes to show that teaching someone how to build a crossbow is, funnily enough, not some kind of deep metaphor for romantic feelings.)
Shuichi:  “Ah, no, that’s alright… I sort of understand from watching anyway.”
…But it seems Shuichi doesn’t quite want to be included in this way and possibly brought closer to having to maybe talk to Kaito. Dammit, Shuichi, you’re not helping the situation here.
Maki:  “Then let’s put it away. You can easily take it apart by reversing the steps.”
Kaito:  “Wait, do I have to do it?”
Maki:  “Who else is going to do it?”
Kaito:  “Yeah… s-sorry… I don’t… feel too good again…”
Maki:  “…Huh?”
Kaito:  “It seems like I’m not at 100%! So I’m gonna go back first!”
This is not about Kaito not wanting to put the crossbow away. He has never actually been as lazy and flaky as he can sometimes come across – and most of the times that he has come across that way, it’s really been because of his illness. This is because of his illness too. He’s probably started to feel another blood-coughing fit coming on and desperately doesn’t want to be around them for it (and we are indeed going to see him coughing up blood soon after this). So he’s using not wanting to put the crossbow away as his cover for leaving – and since being lazy and unreliable is not something it’d be in his character to admit to so he can’t just claim that outright without it sounding like an obvious excuse, he’s making it sound like he’s using his illness as the obviously-fake excuse to get out of that.
He’s making the truth sound like a lie in order to convince everyone that it’s not really the truth at all. That is some Kokichi-level deception there. Kaito is getting really desperate.
Shuichi:  (Ignoring Maki trying to stop him, Kaito fled the room.)
“Fled”. That sure is a word to describe it, Shuichi. Somehow I don’t think having to put a crossbow away and tidy up after yourself is something anyone would ever have a reason to flee from.
Maki:  “I knew he wasn’t the type to clean up, but I never thought he’d run away with a crappy lie…”
It worked. He convinced them that the illness part was the lie and not the other way around. Maki even remarks that it doesn’t seem like him to lie about that, yet she still bought that that’s what he did. God damnit, Kaito.
Maki:  “…How frustrating. He’s the worst.”
I love her pouty face as she says this. Why does she care about this idiot so much. (Because he still saved her, even though he’s an idiot.)
Shuichi:  “Ah, well, that’s just Kaito…”
Is it, Shuichi? I thought you were always the one to stand up for him when he couldn’t train because he was phobia-sick and Maki acted like he was just making pathetic excuses. Shouldn’t you be standing up for him here in that same way, since you know Kaito never really makes excuses like that? Apparently not, because that would mean suggesting that Kaito really is still sick and that wasn’t just an excuse. Even though it was clear at breakfast that nobody was convinced Kaito was really back at 100%, Shuichi still does not want to suggest out loud that this could be the case.
Maki:  “I’m sure you know why I invited you, right?”
Shuichi:  “Y-Yeah… I do. You were trying to get Kaito and me to make up.”
Of course Shuichi knew that as well. They both did – they just didn’t want to acknowledge it because that would mean admitting that they should be trying to talk to each other.
Really, Maki was going about this in a very unhelpfully indirect way that was just giving both of them plenty of excuse to continue to awkwardly ignore each other. What she really should have done is just talk about it, explicitly bringing attention to the fact that they should be talking to each other and try to force them to do so one way or another. If she was willing to be less indirect, I can honestly see her just declaring that she’s not letting them leave until they’ve talked to each other, then shutting them in here and guarding the door from outside. Granted, Kaito would probably immediately decide he’s not going to say a word in the hope he can out-stubborn Maki and get her to give up and let them out, because doing that would seem less painful to him than actually talking to Shuichi about this. But Shuichi at least would attempt to talk to Kaito for lack of anything else to do (he doesn’t think he can out-stubborn Maki), and in the process Kaito would start to realise that he’s completely misunderstanding Shuichi’s whole state of mind here and they might actually get somewhere.
If only Maki had realised that just them talking to each other in any shape or form would immediately start to fix things.
Maki:  “It’s not like he hates you or anything.”
Very correct! I’m glad she knows this much at least. (If she thought Kaito really did (inconceivably) hate Shuichi now, there’d have been no point her even trying to get them to make up here.)
Maki:  “He’s just being stubborn.”
…Less correct. Stubbornness would mean that this is about his principles and he’s stubbornly sticking to them even if it means shunning Shuichi. As I went over countless times during the trial, that was never truly the point. But the fact that Maki thinks it is explains why she doesn’t realise how easily talking would solve things – she thinks talking would just make it worse as long as Kaito’s still in this stubborn mood and it’s instead a case of needing to slowly wear down his stubbornness, hence her completely unhelpful indirect approach.
Shuichi:  “But… I just don’t know what to say to him.”
He doesn’t say anything else before this “but”, so he never specifically agrees that he knows Kaito doesn’t hate him. Shuichi, please tell me you at least know Kaito doesn’t hate you. You can’t be that painfully wrong, surely?
Shuichi:  “I-I had no choice! Gonta… If I didn’t do something, everyone would have died… I… I don’t think it’d be right to apologize for that…”
*very deep breath*
EXACTLY! Of course you shouldn’t apologise for that when you didn’t do anything wrong! This is precisely Kaito’s opinion on apologising! It is not possible that he could be expecting an apology from you!
This right here is the other reason I kept stressing Kaito’s principles on apologising so much – because it proves beyond a doubt that it does not make any kind of sense for Kaito to be angry at Shuichi here and wanting some kind of apology before he’ll talk to him again.
This isn’t something that necessarily requires multiple playthroughs to appreciate, either. I noticed during this moment on my first time through that what Shuichi said matched Kaito’s previously-stated opinions exactly and therefore Shuichi was wrong to be assuming Kaito wanted him to apologise. This is the biggest, most unambiguous clue that would let someone pick up that there’s more going on with Kaito here than meets the eye, but apparently most people still don’t, and it makes me sad. I’ve watched several blind LPs of this game – probably something like ten by now – and out of all of them, only one eventually sort of vaguely wondered if there might be more to this than just Kaito being angry. The real truth of this situation is so compelling, and it doesn’t deserve to be written off as its apparent face value and nothing more.
There’s also the part where Shuichi was almost certainly witness to the time Kaito most clearly expressed his opinions about apologising, to Kaede back in chapter 1 after the tunnel incident. You may recall how I awkwardly went out of my way to point out that despite how Kaito and Shuichi each leave after having their optionally-ordered conversations with Kaede there, it makes the most sense to think that Kaito canonically said his bit first and so Shuichi would have overheard it. This is the future point at which that is relevant that I promised back then. Buuuut, even though Shuichi probably heard Kaito’s speech that time, apparently he forgot about that, because if he remembered then he should be able to realise that Kaito can’t possibly want him to apologise here. I guess we can put that down to the fact that at the time his dependency was focused on Kaede and he wasn’t really paying attention to Kaito that much, so the things Kaito said weren’t necessarily likely to register or stick in his mind.
Something else interesting to note is that while Shuichi had a tendency to apologise unnecessarily in front of Kaede a lot, he never did so in front of Kaito, not even earlier on. He can’t have done, because if he had, Kaito would have given him the whole don’t-apologise-when-you’re-not-in-the-wrong speech and he’d definitely have remembered that. “Don’t make yourself feel bad unnecessarily for something that isn’t your fault” was in fact the general gist of a lot of the advice Kaito was giving Shuichi near the start, since that was Shuichi’s biggest problem. But Kaito never specifically mentioned apologising during any of that advice, so Shuichi never picked up on that part of his philosophy in particular – and I wonder how deliberate that was on the writers’ part in order to get this chapter to work.
It’s also quite remarkable that Shuichi is self-assured enough to be able to stand by what he did here and be sure that he shouldn’t apologise. That chapter 1 Shuichi who apologised too much to Kaede, and maybe also the early-chapter-2 Shuichi who blamed himself for Kaede’s death, would almost certainly have caved into telling himself he was in the wrong about this. And that growth from Shuichi is most likely thanks to Kaito’s influence anyway, albeit in a more indirect way that he’s less consciously aware of. Shuichi’s become able to think this way at least in part because some of Kaito’s general conviction and self-assuredness has rubbed off on him, even without him needing to follow specific words of advice.
Shuichi:  “I’m sorry, Maki. I just… need more time…”
You’re not the one who needs it, Shuichi. The responsibility to fix this isn’t on you. If you could figure out what was going on in Kaito’s head and manage to help him, that would be really good… but you shouldn’t have to.
The reality of it is that Kaito was the one whose actions in the trial were in the wrong, not Shuichi. Kaito ended up making things more painful for Shuichi in a way that could have been avoided if he hadn’t acted the way he did. It’s like a worse version of the time he punched Shuichi at the end of Kaede’s trial, which was him losing control of himself and lashing out when he never really wanted to, and he apologised for that the morning after. Kaito is the one who owes Shuichi an apology here, and there’s no way he’s not aware of that. This is the one time in the story that Kaito shows an exception to his principles about apologising in the opposite direction from usual: not apologising when he has done something wrong. It’s not that he doesn’t think he should – it’s just that the thought of how badly he failed Shuichi during the trial hurts him so much that he doesn’t have the strength to accept it and face Shuichi and admit that he messed up.
The problem isn’t that Kaito is being stubborn, but rather that right now he’s basically being a coward. Which has a very different ring to it than all the times I’ve called Kokichi a coward, because Kokichi is almost always a coward and nopes away at the slightest sign of anything he doesn’t like. But Kaito is usually able to be pretty damn brave and face unpleasant things head-on – that even seems to be one of his general principles, like when he was encouraging Himiko to face up to Tenko’s death. So the fact that he can’t bring himself to face this even slightly just goes to show how absolutely terrified he must be about admitting this failure to Shuichi.
(Ready for an even-more-overthinking-it and somewhat personal tangent? Kaito concluding that he’s obviously failed Shuichi is very much a result of his issues about heroes and sidekicks, and I don’t want to sound like I’m about to diminish the importance of that. But the fact that this perceived failure is then apparently so unbearably painful to him that he simply cannot face it suggests to me that Kaito is also dealing with a thing called rejection sensitivity dysphoria, which amplifies this type of emotional pain to far more intense levels (and has a somewhat misleading name because it can also be about failure as well as rejection). This is one of the lesser-known symptoms of ADHD, and once this occurred to me, I then thought of everything else about Kaito and realised that huh, this actually makes a lot of sense. So ADHD Kaito is a pet headcanon of mine, one which totally doesn’t have anything to do with me having realised that I have ADHD and researched more about exactly what it is while being hyperfixated on Kaito. I have a lot more thoughts about this that don’t belong in this commentary because they aren’t really relevant to the story – the only point at which this headcanon potentially impacts the story, hence why I’m even mentioning it here at all, is right here in early chapter 5. I can confirm from experience that RSD sucks and makes even seemingly innocuous things hurt like hell, so if Kaito really does have ADHD and this really is contributing to his pain right now, holy crap I do not blame him one bit for not being able to face this.)
Maki:  *sigh* “I didn’t realize you two would require such high maintenance.”
I love the way Maki puts this, like she’s unintentionally wound up taking care of two very difficult children. She’s such a good child caregiver!
Shuichi:  “S-Sorry…”
Not your fault, Shuichi. Well, okay, slightly your fault for being so oblivious, but one can’t really blame you for what you’re not aware of. It is definitely far more Kaito’s fault for not having the courage to do what he knows he should be doing to put this right.
Shuichi:  (I didn’t realize… Maki would be so concerned about us.)
And speaking of you being oblivious, Shuichi! How do you not already know by this point that Maki is a very caring person who would obviously worry about her friends when they’re being like this?
Shuichi:  (In the end, I was the one who ended up disassembling the crossbow.)
So Maki did end up teaching him how to do it (albeit backwards) after all. Sort of beside the point though when the reason she offered in the first place was to try and encourage him and Kaito to talk to each other here, and it’s too late for that.
Shuichi:  (And then there’s the… thing with me and Kaito…) “I need to make up with him… For us… and for Maki.”
Shuichi is still assuming it’s his responsibility to do this and not having it even remotely occur to him that actually maybe Kaito’s the one who needs to take action. But it’s nice that he sees it as even more important to do now he realises it’s not just hurting the two of them but also Maki as well. This is definitely something Kaito would realise too after tonight… not that that’s going to be enough to give Kaito the push he needs to do something, so he’s just going to be feeling even more guilty and awful about his cowardice now.
Shuichi:  (I fell asleep thinking about it…)
This is the first time in a while Shuichi has gone to sleep while thoughts of his current problems have been going around and around in his head. Kaito’s training was supposed to help him not do that! But here we are again… thanks to Kaito’s mistakes.
Meanwhile, Kaito is helplessly coughing up blood outside, presumably in some hidden corner of the courtyard where Shuichi and Maki wouldn’t have accidentally happened across him on their way back.
Kaito:  “Wh-Why…? Why… now? Why… me?”
This “why me?” is the closest Kaito ever gets to expressing the sentiment that it’s not fair that he’s the one who has to go through this. No-one else is dealing with anything like this; he’s the only one who has to carry this unimaginably heavy burden on top of everything else. Kaito would never directly voice the idea that he doesn’t think it’s fair, because that would centre things around himself – he’s bad enough at thinking that his suffering even matters at all, never mind putting it above everyone else’s. He is far too painfully selfless to ever consciously think that way, even beneath the façade he puts on for others – Kaito would sooner go through this a thousand times over than wish it upon anybody else in his place. But even so, there is a tiny part of him that does still feel that injustice that manages to come through here, just subtly enough that he probably doesn’t even register it, while he’s alone and no-one will ever see him feeling this way.
Also, though, why Kaito indeed? There’s three different answers to this question depending on the level of fictionality you look at it through.
In the most fictional sense, in terms of the in-story story about the meteorites and the virus that everyone on the Gofer Project was supposed to be immune to, it’s because he’s the astronaut. If they’re going to be flying in a spaceship and reaching a new world, an astronaut is the one talent they’d benefit from more than anything else, to the point that they’d be willing to take compromises over the immunity thing in order to get Kaito on board. An astronaut who’s only partially immune to the virus and who will be sick and drop dead a few weeks into the trip is still better than no astronaut at all. If any of the students was going to turn out to be only partially immune to the virus despite having been chosen for the Gofer Project, the most plausible one for it would be him.
In a less fictional sense, on the level of this being a story written by Team Danganronpa, it’s because Kaito was written to be the figure of support for Shuichi’s character arc of being a weak Ultimate Detective who grows strong. In aid of that, they wanted Kaito to give him that push in the first place, but then for Shuichi to have to slowly learn to stand on his own without Kaito. First they did this by extremely lazily nerfing Kaito’s effectiveness in chapter 3 with his arbitrary phobia. And now they’re nerfing Kaito in the most comprehensive way there is, by killing him. It’s possible that he would have gotten killed by the killing game at some point anyway, but the in-universe writers couldn’t leave that to chance and wanted to be sure Shuichi would eventually lose him, so they made sure Kaito was dying no matter what for an external reason that could be conveniently tied into their backstory.
(Oh, man, if Kaito ever learned that the reason he’s dying, on the truest level that matters to him, is simply that the mastermind just wanted him out of the way and out of the “story” so that Shuichi could take the spotlight and be the real hero who doesn’t need his help anymore… fuck, that would be vicious. That’d stab Kaito exactly where he’s already hurting the most. Maybe it’s a good thing he never actually learns the truth.)
But on the not-at-all-fictional level, it’s because the real, out-universe purpose of Kaito’s story isn’t just to be the mentor for Shuichi’s development, but also to be a deconstruction of those kinds of heroic mentor characters. (I can think of four other characters in other works of fiction who remind me of Kaito in that they seem like perfect heroes but know that their best friend can become even stronger than them and inspire said friend to reach that potential – and all four of them die.) In order to deconstruct that, Kaito needed to be, on some level, not okay with only being there to inspire Shuichi and then die, and to do that he needs to know that he’s going to die. Kaito would already have been messed up to some extent by his percieved inferiority to Shuichi even if he weren’t dying, but the helplessness caused by his impending death and how he tried to deal with it by clinging to the feeling that at least Shuichi needs him only to lose that too has made his breakdown far more spectacular than it would have been otherwise. Kaito’s entire character arc is delightful and his looming inevitable death is a vital part of it, and the out-universe writers know exactly what they’re doing. (The in-universe writers don’t, though. I really believe they only see Kaito as a disposable crutch for Shuichi’s development and not as someone to have a character arc of his own. Boy were they wrong. Boy are most of the best parts of this story not something the in-universe writers had planned at all.)
Kaito:  “Damn it… I’m running… outta time.”
Not for himself. He already said this morning he was going to get “you guys” and not “us” out of here. He’s running out of time to finally make a difference and be a hero to everyone else after how badly he feels he’s failed so far.
Kaito:  “I can’t die like this… Like hell am I gonna… die here…”
“Like this”, meaning he can’t die the way he currently is, as a failure. “Here”, meaning he can’t die while everyone’s still trapped in here and at least wants to see them escape and know they’re going to be okay before the end.
Kaito:  “I… I still… haven’t gone… t-to space… Damn it…”
Final reminder: Kaito cannot die before he has gone to space. Five times he says something to this effect. It is So Important.
…But this time, I don’t think Kaito really believes he’s going to manage it. I think this is him brokenly lamenting the realisation that he’s never going to make it to space after all. Everything else he wants is for others. This is the only thing he wants that’s purely for himself, and it’s the one thing he knows is already a lost cause.
Tumblr media
I really like how the illustration here is framed such that the background behind Kaito is the stars he thinks he’ll never get to reach.
This is almost the same illustration as the scene at the end of chapter 3, except there’s a lot more blood, and his expression is even more anguished, to the point that he’s crying. The previous times Kaito cried, it was for other people who’d died, for all of the pain that everyone had been feeling in general. Here, Kaito is only crying for himself. So it’s only natural that he’d only ever do this when nobody else will see him.
Also, mad props to Kaito’s voice actor for this scene. You can hear every bit of his fear and helplessness beneath his desperate attempts to still sound determined, and it’s wonderful.
(His Japanese VA’s performance here is equally good, mind you; do recommend checking out both.)
Also also, props to the out-universe writers for even including this scene? This is one of not many times that Shuichi’s POV is broken, and that usually only happens during chapter opening/ending stingers. And we already know full well by this point that Kaito is definitely dying, so it’s not like this tells us any new plot information that we didn’t otherwise have. We’re shown this solely because it’s important for us to understand how Kaito is feeling about this, that the façade he puts on in front of the others is very much a façade for the others and he isn’t able to lie to himself about the way he really feels. Even if he has trouble admitting it to himself in words, because that would be tantamount to giving up, he is clearly quite consciously aware of how bad things are beneath it all. (This is, of course, in contrast to Kokichi, who was still thoroughly lying to himself about everything when we saw him alone at night.) The writers care so much about getting Kaito’s character arc across as much as is possible considering how much he hides from the surface and how oblivious Shuichi is to it all, and I’m so glad they do.
On a related note, it’s time for my favourite Monokuma Theater! Which happens to be the only one of the actually-meaningful ones whose meaning should be readily apparent on a first time through.
Monokuma:  “Recklessness is a beautiful thing.”
Because he’s obviously talking about Kaito.
Monokuma:  “It’s so beautiful, I want to print the words ‘Reckless Beauty’ on a t-shirt.”
(I low-key want there to be Danganronpa fan creators out there who have actually made t-shirts like this.)
Monokuma:  “Because recklessness is the stuff that dreams are made of.”
Dreams like going to space, no matter how impossible that might seem!
Monokuma:  “It’s what makes you run at full speed, with no regard for your limitations.”
It’s what makes you cheat your way in and take a test you know you’re too young for, with no regard for what might happen if you get caught, all so that you can get to space that much sooner! It’s what makes you keep giving it your all to support your friends, with no regard for the fact that you’re dying!
Monokuma:  “It’s what makes you excited by anything.”
Like space! Like snow! Like crossbows! Like every single kind of human endeavour imaginable! Like magic and made-up kids’ games you know aren’t true but who cares because pretending they are is fun!
Monokuma:  “Some say it’s foolish, but recklessness is what causes new events to unfold.”
Like encouraging everyone to risk using the first Flashback Light when most of them were too scared to try it! Like reaching out to a lonely assassin who would have remained alone without your help because nobody else wanted to risk getting close to her! Like taking action to fight back even though you have no idea what you’re doing, because if you don’t then no-one else will!
Monokuma:  “So while you’re still alive, live your life so recklessly that it makes you immortal.”
And maybe if you live so recklessly in the time you have left, with such brazen disregard for your limits and weaknesses, maybe it’ll help you feel like you aren’t really weak and dying at all.
Monokuma:  “And if haters laugh at you, let them. They just don’t appreciate reckless beauty like you do.”
Stick to your convictions! Be true to yourself! Never stop being you, no matter how much everyone else tells you you’re an idiot! You know your recklessness is beautiful, so who cares what others think!?
This whole thing is clearly written to celebrate so many of the things that are great about Kaito, and I love it.

Omg do you have more cute hcs with the lov and class1a/1b
I dont care how long or short it is, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE READING THEM 💕💕💕💕💖 😊😊
Theyre so comforting <333
YES I HAVE A BUNCH. COME TAKE IT ALL.
Tomura is an expert in video games, right? Well, he's currently working from afar with Hatsume and Melissa to create a VR system to help the kids at UA train.
Everything because the first thing he did when meeting Nezu was telling him the UA system sucked.
No more public exposure, no more simple barriers keeping away the villains from the kids, no more pushing them to dangerous places with no proper supervision.
The new job of the League when it comes to working is the UA is keeping the place as safe as possible and helping the kids recover from the trauma of the war.
Dabi doesn't like working directly with the kids, so his job consist on patrolling around the UA. In case a crisis is reported, he's the first at the place and his job is to keep the crisis on minimum 'til the teachers arrive.
The funniest part is the type of crisis he has solved so far. They include:
Helping people with their crushes because they tried to confess and caused an accident. (Dabi has the fun of his life with it, being honest).
Accidents in the kitchen. (No much he can do except using Shoto as a way of taking down the flames).
Stupid fights (He is banned from helping in those since he cheered for Shoto when he was fistfighting Iida for saying something to Midoriya).
And his favorite: keeping Mineta at bay. Dabi is not the type of gentleman that defends women constantly, because he just doesn't care about helping anyone. But Mineta is a type of gross he would have incinerate in the streets if he was a man and not a kid. So instead, he just walks from a safe distance and keeps scaring the kid when he's about to annoy one of the girls.
Tomura always find Dabi is the halls complaining about the no smoking rule
They make fun of each other a little until they realize they should be working and there are kids staring at them.
Class 1-A talks about Dabi like the older brother who was in jail.
Oh, but Dabi told me...
They are actually well informed about a bunch of stuff and they know how to take care of street criminals better now.
Ah, but they're also the ones who check if he is not drinking too much, if he's having proper rest, if his burns and staples are taken care of, if he's not too anxious or depressed, if hes' taking his meds...
If he's not following one of those, they call Natsuo. Oh man, Natsuo has become the emergency contact of half the League somehow. Maybe because he has a golden heart or maybe because they all are scared of Fuyumi by some weird reason.
Shoto is the other emergency contact when it comes to Dabi, hmmm, but sometimes he just follows Dabi bad example and well.
Dabi is the anti-Santa. He's gonna give you that one gift you wanted but everyone said no because it's dangerous.
"Dabi, I'm trying to make a safer space for the kids" , "Tomura, I'm trying to make them relax".
After getting fired twice by Aizawa, Dabi is finally behaving.
This has nothing to do with the fact that he's finally dating Tomura tho.
WHICH TAKE US TO: SPINNER, THE BROTHER WHO ACTUALLY ACKNOWLEDGES HIS RESPONSIBILITIES.
Spinner works in the same thing as Dabi, but he's the reliable one.
Getting Uraraka down when she starts floating on her sleep, calming people down when they're having anxiety attacks, noting when someone is having a bad day and requesting the teachers to let the person rest...
Spinner is the one actually helping them with their ptsd. He makes everything so easy and pleasant. It's like they're just kids taking classes and having fun.
Besides, class 1-B knows he is amazing at cuddling and people love his hugs. Just by seeing Spinner, they cheer up.
He and Shinso are responsible for the purple hair tendency among the kids of General Studies. Their heroes.
He's also the one who helps the kids with their training sessions when they need a partner but there's no one else to help them.
He became one of the official bus drivers of the school after taking some lessons and requesting a license.
He sings with them while they travel, he always has snacks in case someone is hungry and he has pills in case someone is motion sick. Well, a bunch of pills since Dabi is always motion sick.
He had a crush on Tomura but he realized it was more platonic than anything.
Now now, Tomura and Spinner have matching gamer tattoos that said Player #1 and Player #2. Dumbasses in action.
If Dabi is the problematic uncle and Spinner is the responsible uncle...
That leave us with: Compress the artistic dad and Kurogiri the dad who's always working far away but you can totally rely on.
THE VIDEO CALLS WITH KUROGIRI AND COMPRESS ARE SO CUTE.
101 Flirting with Compress.
All the kids in all courses have a personalized mask. Compress is addicted to creating them.
His beautiful, mischievous kids that once, trying to distract him, stole his prosthesis and kept it going around the school from room to room.
Turns out it was a surprise party, but man if it was fun because Compress pretended the whole time he was a pirate looking for his long buried treasure.
HE GOT A PARROT AND HE NAMED HIM RED BEAK.
Bakugo almost exploded the whole place after hearing such a ridiculous name.
Well, Red Beak loves making fun of Bakugo, repeating everything he says.
RED BEAK AND KIRISHIMA ARE BESTIES. YES YES.
The Bakusquad would kill for Red Beak.
Sero is teaching him Spanish, Mina is teaching him to dance, Denki is teaching him bad jokes and Jirou is teaching him to sing.
Tokoyami is the official protector of Red Beak. Koda is the translator.
On the other hand, Kurogiri always gives them some honey and other things when he visits the school.
He congratulates them on their achievements, he hears them for hours talking about their adventures and he is the old friend you call when it's 3am, you're feeling bad but you don't want to worry no one else.
If you want to solve a problem, call Kurogiri. He's gonna give you the clues but let you solve it yourself.
The award for the dad with more patience goes to: KUROGIRI.
If you really really need to run away from some hours, he can use his quirk to rescue you and he would prepare some tea for you, wrap you in a soft sweater and walk with you through his yard. You can pick flowers or fruit with him until you calm down. Or you can watch old movies with him. Or bake. Being with him is like floating around in the sky, no worries, just clouds and stars and soft noises and lights.
The school always knows when it happens and they are okay with it. Mostly. Just don't do it too much.
Toga is another good option if you need to talk but you don't know with who.
She's actually a great listener and an expert on making things look less stressing than they are. You see, she pays attention at your triggers and moods and if she sees something is bothering the students, she finds a way to distract them immediately, while letting the teachers deal with the problem.
Ah, the queen of gossip.
If you want to know something about someone you need to pay the prize, tho. And she won't even tell you if she considers the secret must be guarded 'til the grave.
She's the one who takes the messages to the parents because she's fast, can hide at plain sight and doesn't put them in danger.
You never know where Toga is. She someone studies like the rest of them, but she's like, selected to secret missions. She has a lot of info but they all trust her somehow.
Maybe is the fact that she would kill and take a stab for you. And that she would never put Deku or Ochaco in danger. Or her family.
She's also Mineta's biggest nightmare.
Try sexualizing the girl and win a terrifying week, courtesy of Toga Himiko.
She won't let you sleep, she won't let you eat, you're gonna wish you were never born. She can make you feel as sexualized, observed and stalked as you make the girls feel. Oh, she's gonna show you exactly how it feels to be a girl.
Also don't sexualize the boys around her either. Stabby queen is not gentle to those who are not gentle with her friends. Period.
Friendly reminder: 0 stabbing accidents since she started studying at UA.
BECAUSE THEY GAVE HER A RUBBER KNIFE.
And finally, the Tomura headcanons.
He's always falling asleep on odd places. The kids have a new name called "let's put a blanket on Tomura".
And then they call Dabi or Spinner to take him somewhere more comfortable.
He's working so hard. He's really working so hard on redeeming himself, even when everyone has already forgiven him. But he has this fear of being a failure or being too much...
The kids are also well trained on how to help him through his anxiety or panic attacks. Even more, some of them have always a pair of gloves in them just in case.
Momo is more than happy to make him more.
It's kinda sad how much he's suffering even now. That's way they all do their best to let him know his doing great.
Kisses in the cheek, compliments on how he's looking, new products to his hair and skin, playing the games he recommends, telling how badass he is when he trains them...
Somehow being around Tomura has help them realize how important is communicating stuff. They all are way healthier now.
Tomura is just... So sincere. He's been instructed to share his thoughts, because he had a problem before with communicating properly. That means he used to forget saying certain information because it was obvious to him, but not to others.
He doesn't mean to hurt people. He's just saying what he thinks. Which also means he offends a bunch of people not by accident. And he doesn't apologize because he is just doing what he's been told.
Midoriya and Shigaraki's discussions are epic. And so are their fights. Yes, they fight like siblings. Which is crazy funny because they are like "friendly reminder you tried to KILL ME" and "WELL YOU DESERVED THAT FOR BEING A DICK".
They've finally found out that you can complain to him or get a little violent and he's not gonna even blink, just hear you out.
It was because Bakugo got a little violent with him and yeah, he just stared back waiting.
You can't imagine Dabi's anger when Tomura told him about Kotaro. He was frustrated because at least Tomura did step on Endeavor and humiliated him for life, but him? He is angry with a man that's dead and gone.
Okay no, the whole League is angry about the things that has happened to the whole League. That's the thing with finally being able to relax and feel. It all comes back in a flood.
They have prohibited being around school when the parents visit. Specially because they are no very civil to shitty parents.
And if a kid confess about having shitty parents, oh boy. The League is gonna BE PISSED.
The UA is still a total chaos, but now in the right ways. They have more normal problems, they don't have to win war and kill evil lords, they complain about not having money to go out and forgetting their homework. And the ex-villians can complain about life being boring a needing more action.
That's a good thing. That means they all are healing, together.
They're gonna be fine.

sharky sharky shark and cutie dancer ?
How differently do they think of each other now compared to when they first met?  VERY DIFFERENTLY !!! At least on Yuki’s side. At first, Misha was met with the same reaction a tall, muscular man suddenly appearing beside her usually gets : a jump, a scream, and a “WHAT DOES THE TALL MAN WANTS HE WANTS TO HURT ME HELP HELP HELP PANIC MODE PANIC MODE”. And even then, after clearing things up and realizing he wasn’t there to hurt her, she was still very wary of him. Now she kinda thinks that Misha is the greatest thing on Earth since green tea. And even then, it’s not sure that green tea would win, because it’s good, but Misha is better. He’s nice, he’s protective, and she loves him very, very much.Misha’s first impression of Yuki was “that person needs protecting RIGHT NOW !” slash “okay I’m scaring them, that’s not good, I think she miiiight be shy”. Cue turning on the protecting instincts and wanting to kick her entire family’s collective ass. He still feels like this now, because Yuki IS shy, but there’s a lot of things on top of that. Mainly that she’s very cute and it’s very fun to see her being so meek because she’s a great person. And she could totally kick his teeth in. And he still wants to kick her family’s ass, but they kinda did it legally so it’s all good.
What do their friends/family think of their relationship? Momma Shark is very happy, because Yuki is, like, the cutest little thing, and her son is very happy to have a cute girlfriend. Besides, Yuki LOVES cooking with her, and she’s great at it, so they spend hours in the kitchen (and she knows her son is well fed). All their friends are happy for them, military and the puppy pack alike, because Yuki is, like, super happy and safe and in love, and Misha too, and it’s, like, the cutest thing ever. The only persons who don’t like it are Yuki’s family. They think Misha is a peasant, no better than a butler, and he’s absolutly not worthy. Not of Yuki, because they think Yuki is an awful, stupid, unworthy person, but of being in any way related to their family. They want that servant out, right ! now ! Luckily, no one listens to them.
How do their personalities/skills complement or contrast with each other? They work pretty well together. Misha is protective and combattive, while Yuki is way calmer, and likes to follow. Yuki has been raised pretty traditionnally, and she wants to take care of her man. And Misha is okay with being taken care of, BUT he takes care of his woman too. So they take care of each other. Misha protects Yuki and teaches her how to fight and makes her bun for ballet, and Yuki cheers him on and brings him home-made cookies and ties him his gloves. Honestly, they are sickenly sweet.
What is their favorite aspect of each other? Misha loves that Yuki is cute, and that under that cuteness, she’s strong enough to kick his ass. She’s mentaly strong too, because even with all the trauma she grew up with, she’s still there, and still fighting. And she’s fucking resilient. Maybe she let go a lot of things and abandonned a lot of fights, but for what matters really, she won’t get back one inch.Yuki loves that Misha is nice. Like, really nice. Like, he took one look at the girl who was in trouble, and immediatly decided to help her. He’s very protective, and won’t let anyone lay a finger on her. After being ignored and belittled for so long, it feels so good to have someone who looks at her like she’s a worthy human being. Who listens to her and values her so much.
Do either of them have pet peeves about each other? Sometimes Misha gets quite… annoyed at Yuki’s lack of self-esteem. Of course, he knows it’s not her fault, what with the abuse she had to endure. But sometimes, it’s hard to listen to her refuse anything offered to her, be it help or presents, because she feels that she’s not worth it. Especially after Misha’s efforts to convince of the opposite.Misha moves while sleeping. A lot. When you’re a very light sleeper and suffers from insomnia on top of that, it can be… exhausting to be woken up by kicks and growls, after a while. Maybe one day she’ll get used to it, but meanwhile, she tends to go and sleep on the couch when he’s too agitated.
How would each reconcile with each other after a fight? First step : comfort. Be it Yuki or Misha, someone will start by comforting someone, before moving on to the discussion like respectful adults.
What would be their ideal vacation getaway together? Anywhere ! They are free ! They can go wherever they like ! So what if they don’t have the Sagaranosuke’s huge fortune to pay for luxurious hostels, swanky cruises or nights at the opera ? They prefer nice little inns in the countryside, a week-end in the mountains to go hiking, and evenings at the Cat’s Smile. And above all, taking Misha’s motocycle and going for a day at the beach. Whatever the weather is, it doesn’t matter. Misha loves the sea, and Yuki loves the fresh air. It’s perfect. Besides, they can go to the opera as often as they want.
Think of a new way (AU, different situation, etc.) they could have met for the first time. Spirit Walker!AU !
Just think of little Yuki, little ballet student, having to cross the dangerous streets by herself at night ! What a perfect target for ill-intentioned persons and evil big sisters looking for a fight ! More than once, Yuki has been attacked and / or hurt, and sometimes only owes her life to the fact that she’s the fastest runner this side of the river. And she still crosses those streets, because bus and taxis are expensive and she doesn’t have any other options.
And of course, one night, as she hurries home on the sidewalk along the river, who blocks her way if not assholes looking for a fight and / or someone weaker than them to assault ? She wants to run, but already, someone is behind her, preventing her from fleeing. They close on her, ready to strike, when something jumps out of the water and lands beside her. It’s… hard to see what it is. It’s big, it has teeth, and it gets rid of the assholes like they are but flies around it. Yuki doesn’t really stop to chat. As soon as the way is cleared, she runs like her life depends on it (her life DOES depend on it). The thing doesn’t follow her.
But as scared as she is, Yuki is not ungrateful. When they make cookies in Home Economics class, she puts some away, and on her way home, leaves a few of them at the edge of the river, where the creature appeared. The next day, they are gone. She puts some more. They disappear too. Of course, someone could take them, but she’d rather think that the creature is eating them, and likes them.
Once again, she’s walking home, trying not to run but hurrying all the same, when the creature gets out of the water again. She takes a step back, but they don’t move. They just look at her with those huge eyes with too big pupils, and don’t say anything. And she doesn’t, either. Until she just… bows politely and bolts out of there.
They meet again, always at the same place. The creature never tries to hurt her, and she starts getting used to them. After a while, they even start talking. Just a bit at first, politenesses at first. Thanks for the cookies, enquiries of each other’s health. Then more and more. Yuki starts talking about her beloved ballet lessons. The shark creature, Misha, tells her about the spirit world, even if it’s not really allowed but he doesn’t care at all. She brings him cookies and tea, and he protects her from all idiots wanting to harm her. He even gets to scare Himiko away, which delights Yuki to no end.
They get closer and closer, and one day, after an exhilirating fight, Yuki decides to kiss Misha. It’s weird, and full of teeth, and the shark creature is a bit surprised. But he seems to like it, because he kisses back. The relationship is not an easy one. Yuki is still a human, and Misha a water creature who can’t be that far from the water, but they make it work, other creatures be damned. It’s still enough for them.
