"Always Were." || Dabi angst/survivor's guilt

“They say the brain’s still alive minutes after death.” Touya lets out a half-hearted laugh.

“It’s probably just a rumor, not like it matters. Dead is dead.” The patchwork villain pats down his jacket, smirking as he reaches into one of his pockets. He pulls out a small glass vial, holding it up to the light.

“Heh. I told the psychopath to stop wearing my jacket.” He laughs once more, glancing over Jin’s body— corpse. “Sorry… if you can feel any of this…. Jin.”

Touya pauses, taking a deep, shaky breath before he squeezes at Jin’s stab wound, allowing for blood to trickle into the vial.

“This is for her— she’ll be safe with your quirk. That’s where you sent your clone, right? To protect Toga?” Dabi sighs as his hands jittered; he wished he had a moment to recompose himself.

“…look, about Hawks— it’s not your fault. It’s not… it’s—it’s mine. I should have known. Should have realized he’d target you. You’re a good man, Jin. Always were.”

Shoto was born a week before Touyas birthday,that means that the year Shoto was born during his special day everyone was just ignoring neglecting him becouse Shoto was the special newborn;

Touya was by himself and everyone forgot that it was supposed to be HIS special day,they didn’t get him a cake nor a present.

Given that Touya has moved out of his family's main estate by Ambush Simulation: The Hellish Todoroki Family, there is a funny thought in my head that the Vanguard helped him move his stuff, which pretty much amounts to clothes, bedding, books, and other miscellaneous belongings. The only 'furniture' he brings with him that is of any significance is, of course, the piano, which technically isn't his because it belongs to Rei. Although Touya's probably of the opinion, "She's not using it and if she wants it back, she can leave Fujiya and claim it."

Now what I imagine happened with the piano is the Vanguard were standing around discussing how to move this thing. Touya has a parlor grand piano, so it's big. When the lid is open, it's almost seven feet tall (213cm) and weighs around 750 lbs (340 kg.) This is not gonna be an easy beast to move, has to be partially disassembled, and it's about the only material object in the house Touya has any real attachment to, so this situation is pretty anxiety-inducing. Does he trust his friends to move it? Does he actually hire a professional crew to move it? Is he going to have to leave it behind...

...and then Compress steps forward and is all, "Why are we even discussing the matter when all I have to do is this?" And he just compresses the whole thing into a marble. "Problem solved."

If you need a visual for the look on Touya's face when he does this, I like to imagine it's similar to Sam and Dean's reaction to the talking teddy bear. Supernatural fans, you know what I'm talking about.

Touya: ....

Compress: Oh, don't look at me like that. I stole a concert grand piano from a symphony hall once. The buyer was very pleased with its condition when I handed it over.

Touya: ....don't lose that marble.

Compress: *noticing Touya's actually horrified by what he's done* Would it make you feel better if you hung onto the marble?

Touya: ...yes, please.

Jinx & The League of Villains

I think Jinx from LOL/Arcane would fit in with the League of Villains. She’s not as powerful as most MHA characters, but her marksmanship, her inventions, and shimmer-enhanced physicality would be very useful. The only negative I could think of with her joining the League would be her mental state, but it wouldn’t be a big issue since Twice endures a similar mental illness.

I think she would get along with most of the LOV members. Jinx’s backstory is similar to Toga, Dabi, and Shiggy. With Toga, both were rejected by family because of their true selves. Dabi could relate to Jinx kind of being overshadowed by Vi since it happened to him with Shoto, although in a way worse degree. Like Shiggy, Jinx (accidentally) killed her family, was taken in, and adopted a new name.

Jinx and Twice would understand each other’s struggles with their identities while Compress would respect her showmanship during fights. Although she would most likely get along with Spinner the least, I think they would bond over the discrimination they face.

imagine: reader and him in an argument and everything and it gets handsy (in a about to fight way not the other)

THEN the reader pours gasoline on him, now if he uses his quirk he's definitely gonna end up in a coma again so he just pauses at the absurdity of the situation
