Fall 24' Workout Split ๐ŸŽ€
So my friend and I got a gym membership together BUT have been overworked by our jobs and are tired pretty often, so I've created a workout split (for myself) that takes into account what days her and I are going to the gym and then some at home workouts! The days her and I are supposed to go to the gym, IF we don't, there's a fitness center at my apartment that would be perfect to utilize as a backup!
A bit about my fitness/aesthetic goals ( I will be discussing body image, so please DON'T READ if that info would hurt or upset you at all <3 take care of yourselves)
I want a mix of a pilates princess/muscle mommy physique. I'd love full, round glutes and juicy quads and hamstrings, but a slimmer, more lean, and toned top and arms. I am currently overweight (honestly, obese, if I'm being truthful with myself. I'm 5'3, btw) with a large chest and thick ish upper arms. I want to lose weight, tone up, and grow my glutes. Definitely doable with some nutrition fixes and work in the gym!
My Weekly Workout Split:
Monday - Gym - Glutes + Hamstrings
Tuesday - At Home - Full Body Pilates
Wednesday - Gym - Glutes + Quads
Thursday - At Home - Arms + Core Pilates
Friday - Gym - Full Lower Body Glutes
Saturday - At Home Yoga + Cardio
Sunday - At Home Yoga (Optional Cardio)
Daily Things:
8,ooo+ steps a day
5mg creatine daily
track macros (90g+ protein goal daily)
90oz+ water intake daily!!! (super important for the creatine)
(attempt) 15-30+ minutes of walking outside or treadmill a day
I am so excited for this split and really hope it helps me set a nice routine! I've found it difficult to get into routine lately, but I am confident I can figure it out soon. Journaling, skincare, self care, and physical movement are all things I'm incorporating back into my life, and I can't wait to feel like myself again! <3

Decrease in foul language
Increase in the remembrance of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
Memorize repentance surah/dua to recite anytime and anywhere
Increase in repentance
Cleanse your soul (Whether its distancing yourself from negative people, content, hobbies...etc.)
Speak and think kindly of yourself!
Of course there are times where we fall and our deen falters. That is why we should always ask our Rabb to make it easy for us and to of course do our best in our part.

Meal 2: baked chicken breast + toast w/ melted cheese slice + kale caesar salad w/ chickpeas, turkey bacon, cherry tomatoes, cucumber & pickled onions
Dessert: Greek yogurt brownie + yogurt bowl w/ kiwi, frozen raspberries, pumpkin seeds & crunchy PB
Lol was so bored, so I edited the heck out of my meals. Don't know if I can do this everyday cause it took me maybe 2hrs, but OMG it looks so pretty I want to!!!
Also, finally tried the viral 50kcal brownies, and it's so fudgeyyy I love it! ๐Ÿฅฐ Mine came out at around 55kcals cause I added protein powder, but it's still low kcal, so I'm good with that.
Anyway, will update later. Might still walk a bit since it's still pretty early.

The clocks went back an hour last night, so that's why the fast app numbers don't add up, lol. The 15.5hr duration is right.
Ok, no improvement with vision in my stupid eye, but I have to be patient. So here I am with my three reasons to smile for Sunday...
1. I had skimmed cow's milk in yesterday's cappuccino. I haven't (so far) noticed any effects, so maybe, just maybe I can start to think I may be ok with the odd hit of dairy. Only a maybe!
2. A fresh haul from the tiny, local fruit and veg shop on my second half hour walk.
3. Plenty of time outside, getting a whole lot of steps in. The step count is just a bonus. Fresh air, outdoor exercise and time in nature. That's the real benefit.

Chloe Ting 2021 Weight Loss Challenge!
Hello lovelies <3
I have decided to start the chloe ting 2021 weight loss challenge from her challenges on her website. I want to spend some time working on my fitness these next 3 weeks before the semester is over, as I am going to try to start going to the gym after the chloe ting challenge is over and I'm on my winter break. Day 1 for this challenge starts tomorrow. I am also going to make a grocery list for my next payday and buy some healthy groceries to make myself better, healthier, and satiating meals to help aid in the weight loss before I start going to the gym. I am NOT a weight loss blog or ED blog, this is simply for me to get healthier and make some progress on my fitness and wellness. I am posting about it to keep myself accountable and motivated.
If anyone wants to join this challenge tomorrow with me, shoot me a message and we can make a small discord community or something to keep each other accountable!
Here are my starting stats (I am 21years old, 5'3 height, for reference):
starting weight: 224lbs
waist: ~37in (haven't measured in a few weeks, so this is a guess)
current diet: eating whatever I feel like, not very intuitive or healthful
*I will be loosely tracking calories and trying to eat homemade food as much as possible, otherwise, I will be eating more intuitively and focusing on higher protein in my meals.
This will be the physical fitness aspect of my 35 day challenge on my main blog! Let's see how this goes <3 Please keep me accountable lovelies <3

Didn't count kcals today cause I wanted to go with how much I wanted. Luckily I didn't go all out and finished the entire big bag of Popcorners. I'll see tomorrow if I'll count again.. Or maybe I'll just put kcals burned cause at least that I don't have to think about/track since it's on my watch. Hmmm...
Getting tired of Quest bars... Anyone have any recommendations for other good, not-so-expensive protein bars? Or maybe I just have to not eat them every night lol.
