I used to love Harley Quinn but ever since they girl bossified her I can’t fucking stand her. And it’s not that I hate her, I hate the fact DC basically retconned everything about her and basically went “Harley has never done anything wrong ever in her entire life and was not in fact complicit with the Joker at all, she was just an innocent bystander who just stood there and watched, she didn’t partake in any of his fucked up schemes at all, she was just there, good ol Harley was innocent and did nothing it was all just Joker and if she did do something she didn’t do it, Joker forced her to !”

Like this Harley Quinn rebrand is just… in a world where WOC “villains” like Amanda and Talia are constantly villainized and are still treated like the anti christ despite them being morally grey at best frustrates me and I’m mad that it fucking worked of all things.

Also I hate “Aunt Harley” and Harley getting adopted into the Bat Family at Jason just being completely hunky dory and fine with that

Also I just watched The Batman (The one with soggy cat Robert Pattinson) for the first time and while I adore the visual designs, OOF that was uh. Definitely male writing. A plague upon this land truly. Must fix it with Gay AU tomorrow.
