5 and J for f/f wrestleship of your choice.
Perfect
~
Dialogue 5: “I did it! It’s ugly, but I did it!”, Scenario J: Flower Shop/Tattoo Parlor AU. Ruby/Willow
~
"I did it!" Willow jumps and bounces on her toes. Ruby's chest gets tight, watching Willow's excitement. She isn't wiling to confront it. Not now. Now when she can ruin it. Willow turns the bouquet toward Ruby. "It's ugly, but I did it!"
"You did," Ruby says. She checks the flowers. The arrangement, done by memory, is flawless. "Your mom is going to love it. Perfect birthday gift from a perfect - " Ruby cuts herself off. "Um. I mean."
"No," Willow says, and her tone is teasing enough that Ruby looks over to her. Willow has a knowing little smile on her lips. Something Ruby wants to taste. "Finish the sentence."
Ruby feels her face turn bright red. "I - I just meant, like..." She trails off.
Willow steps into Ruby's space. "You think I'm perfect?"
"Your bouquet sure isn't," Ruby quips, an anxious little giggle following.
"I think you're pretty perfect, too." She reaches out and traces the tattoo she'd done on Ruby's shoulder for practice the week before, and Ruby's pretty sure her heart is beating out of her chest. "If I kiss you, are you gonna freak out?"
Ruby shakes her head. "I'd freak out if you didn't."
Willow leans in and Ruby thinks the kills melts all the anxiety out of her. This is what they've been building toward, and every tattoo and bouquet paved the way.

Hello, dumb teeth question. How do you rinse toothpaste out? Like, with water, obviously, but like, the only cup in the bathroom is the one I used when I was a kid that's been collecting dust since then and would be difficult to wash now. I never washed it when I was a kid and ended up rinsing with (and also drinking) mold until my sister noticed and eventually I just stopped using it cause washing it was too much trouble and so I haven't used toothpaste for years. My dentist though said I had to use toothpaste and ig that's why I have cavities now.
Ig most of that's not super important. I don't see how my family is rinsing and at this point I'm too embarrassed to ask. Do I just like collect water in my hands and slurp it up? This is such a dumb question I should just wash the damn cup on a regular basis but it's hard enough for me to brush regularly without having to change my System and I don't see any other containers in the bathroom so like how is my family doing it and if there's just an Easier Way then I'd like to know about it, alternatively I'd like to give my brain a reason to just shut up and start using toothpaste
I don't rinse, and neither should you! You should spit, and whatever toothpaste that remains in your mouth is safe to swallow. Rinsing removes fluoride that protects your teeth after brushing and is not recommended best practice these days. (I was taught rinse-and-spit as a kid and I had to specifically ask for brushing information from my dentist to find out about this)
If you find having a strong minty taste lingering in your mouth unpleasant, look for other toothpaste flavors that aren't as overpowering - there are a lot of options available in fruit flavors. Sometimes I'll drink some water from my water bottle if the toothpaste taste is too much, but I don't intentionally swish and rinse when I do that. Also don't use mouthwash immediately after brushing! It does the same thing and removes the helpful fluoride.
But you should be using a fluoride toothpaste! Tell your brain you've got a good reason and go out and find some fun toothpaste - I just did a quick search and found watermelon, strawberry, coconut ginger, and mango sorbet flavored toothpastes. (I also found cinnamon clove flavored toothpaste and will probably get some of that because I am the opposite of someone who has a problem with mint, I want something even more obnoxious and also I want goth toothpaste)

As someone who has overbite and currently has healthy, but yellow teeth, yes and thank you.
I have a front top tooth which refused to fall out, and then the adult tooth that was supposed to grow in that place is now hovering over top of that. Basically, I'm a shark.
I am fine with this, but no, I have to wiggle the bottom tooth loose because if I don't then we can't get braces, yada yada. Maybe I don't want braces. Maybe I don't want to take away this little fang tooth and no longer have this iconic-ish look. Maybe I don't want to go to the dentist anymore besides for checkups because the last dentist I went to gave me the first panic attack I've ever had.
Maybe I don't want to get my teeth forcibly cleaned by a stranger wielding a chemical that isn't even good for me (fluoride). Maybe I don't want to sit there getting 2-3 numbing shots and laughing gas so that my eyes glaze over while they pull out one little tooth.
Not only should we allow people to accept the fact that "my teeth are yellow and that's okay", but maybe we should ask the littler ones that are 12-17 whether they want the uncanny valley vibes grinning lady to lead them into a spare room with sharp tools and multiple things that have radioactive symbols on them.
I'm not saying that we should neglect dental health, but hello? Some of us are children.
Hey, guys? Make peace with yellow teeth. I'm so serious right now.

"Meet ProDentim: The Game-Changer for Your Oral Health"
Introduction
First and foremost, it is worthy of note that the market of dental care is actively developing. Until recently people have used traditional goods such as toothpaste and mouthwash hoping for perfect dental hygiene. However, this is not the case, as even when people usually brush and rinse their teeth in the most appropriate ways possible, dental problems always seem to find a way of manifesting themselves. The truth is emerging: the status of dental health depends on the presence of certain bacteria in your oral cavity. Say hello to the latest innovative solution called ProDentim made to revolutionize your oral health by promoting the health of your mouth’s myriad organisms.
The Science Behind ProDentim
Society has in the recent past gained a deeper understanding of the oral microbiome; this is regarded as the bacterial microflora that resides in our mouth. I say these microorganisms are not just hitchhikers but they are participants and contributors to the health of our teeth and gums. Traditionally probiotics were used for gut health only but now there is evidence that these are good for oral health. Taking advantage of this discovery, ProDentim presents a powerful combination of 3. Five billion probiotics, the finest types that can be used to replace the good bacteria in your mouth. This is something more than an addition; this is an effective method proven by science to maintain and improve the conditions of the oral ecosystem.
You can get the prodentim here
Why Common Dental Products Might Be Harming Your Teeth
Traditional oral hygiene products, despite their good intentions, are loaded with compounds that are destructive to your oral micro cosmetic environment. As we have seen, Fluoride, though it helps in preventing cavities, also has the ability to throw off the balance of the beneficial bacteria in our body. Also, the alcoholic mouth rinses are damaging to the mouth, eliminating all types of organisms, useful as well as dangerous ones. This uncontrolled sloughing exposes your mouth to pathogens and removes the barrier your oral microflora otherwise affords. The irony is stark: all the efforts that we are making to protect the dentition may actually be shooting the process more harm. Enter ProDentim as the safer and more efficient option that lets you clean your mouth without putting at risk your mouth’s friendly bacteria.
The Unique Composition of ProDentim
Some factors that set it apart from the other teeth and gum health boosting products include; The formulation of ProDentim is unique and it has 3. Of all the unique species of probiotic bacteria, it can produce 5 billion live probiotic strains per serving size. Among these, three stand out for their proven efficacy in supporting oral health:Among these, three stand out for their proven efficacy in supporting oral health:
Lactobacillus Paracasei: As is well known in its preventive role of gum diseases, this strain is also useful in keeping the sinuses clear and unblocked, a factor that is often overlooked in dental health.
This powerful probiotic simultaneously regulates the bacterium population within the mouth and strengthens the respiratory system and immunity, benefits other than oral would be impossible without this supplement.
Lactobacillus Reuteri: Essential in lowering inflammation risk, it allows the right conditions within the mouth moist environment and prevents periodontal problems.
These probiotics are provided along with a blend of plant extracts which have been added for their specific effects to the oral health. Inulin was said to assist the development of good bacteria, malic acid from strawberries helps retain teeth whiteness while tricalcium phosphate enhances the firmness of the teeth and peppermint has anti-inflammatory properties.
Real-Life Success Stories
This goes way beyond the mouth; it seems ProDentim has an effect on almost every aspect of the human body. In another sense it does this by maintaining the oral microbial ecology and thus overall health indirectly. Maintenance of healthy gums and teeth has the potential of decreasing general inflammation that is associated with various diseases such as diabetes and heart disease. This kind of an approach towards the health which starts from the mouth makes ProDentim one of the most unique products present in the wellness supplements market.
Comparing ProDentim with Other Oral Health Products
The question, therefore, arises as to why ProDentim is unique in an environment that is, for the most part, flooded with similar brands of oral Probiotics? It is in the formula; this is not the full meaning of the word in furtherance of its registration but a way through which it is formulated. In contrast with other dental goods which may pose various health risks by incorporating toxic chemicals in their formulations, ProDentim is made from all natural ingredients whose functions are compatible with the natural human body. This product is GMO free, contains no gluten and it has no stimulants hence safe for use in each day. Additionally, setting up the product from most other supplements is that it contains probiotics that focus only on the oral health needs of the mouth’s microbiome .
How to Incorporate ProDentim into Your Daily Routine
The use of the ProDentim is quite easy and straightforward as follows. You will find the supplement in chewable form, thus making it easy to incorporate in your regular dosage plan. To get the best of this supplement, chew one ProDentim per day preferably in the morning. Frequency is deemed crucially important since a mouth must always remain a friendly flora for the bacteria that finally yield healthier teeth and gums. When used together with a healthy diet and proper dental care, the beneficial impact of ProDentim would be optimized, with your smile remaining in the best condition.

Conclusion: Transforming Oral Health with ProDentim
ProDentim is not just a common supplement but it is a step change in how people can look at taking care of their teeth. Due to this, ProDentim is a safe solution to most dental problems since it seeks to improve the overall health of the teeth’s microbiome. For those campaigns which focus on gum health, teeth whitening and overall healthy balance of the oral cavity, ProDentim is the definitive solution here you have been waiting for. Choose The Right Whitening Products
When it comes to whitening your teeth, there are a lot of products out there to choose from. With so many options, it can be hard to know which ones are right for you. Here are a few things to keep in mind when choosing teeth whitening products:
The active ingredient: Look for products that contain hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide as the active ingredient. These ingredients are proven to be effective at whitening teeth.
The concentration: The higher the concentration of the active ingredient, the more effective the product will be. However, higher concentrations can also cause more side effects like tooth sensitivity.
Whether you need a prescription: In some cases, you may need a prescription from your dentist in order to get a stronger concentration of the active ingredient. This is usually only necessary if you have very stained teeth or if over-the-counter products haven't worked for you in the past.
Cost: Whitening products can vary widely in price, so be sure to shop around and compare prices before making a purchase. Keep in mind that cheaper is not always better – sometimes it's worth paying a bit more for a product that is more effective and has fewer side effects
Avoid Stain-Causing Foods And Drinks

My favorite mouthwash is Crest Kid's mouthwash. The strawberry flavor is the most mild flavor I have found from any brand ever. It's still pretty sweet, but it is far more bearable than anything else I've found.
Since this mouthwash is a fluoride wash, which means it doesn't burn the fuck out of your mouth and is generally better for your teeth. You can also use it AFTER brushing your teeth, which you aren't supposed to do normally. It's great when you hate the lingering taste of toothpaste in your mouth.
For toothpaste, I use Hello brand because their kids line has some good flavors that aren't too much. I'd be careful to pick the fluoride toothpastes because they offer both types. This brand also doesn't contain SLS, which is a surfactant that a lot of people are sensitive to. If you are prone to canker sores, get an SLS-free toothpaste. Even most "sensitive" toothpastes still contain SLS. My brothers are allergic to it, so they used Biotene. I hate the taste of mint, so I've always stuck to kid's toothpaste.
Kid's Crest toothpaste, the "sparkle fun" flavor, is pretty mild as kids toothpastes go. But it has SLS, so I can't use it anymore (I wasn't sensitive to SLS as a kid, but I am now).
I LOVE floss picks. Listerine has the best one because it is super long and produces less waste than most other picks since you don't through out the handle. I have like four of these things because I love them so much. I've had trouble finding them in stores recently, so I buy on Amazon.
Other suggestions for sensory issues would be to brush slowly, sit on the floor or a rocking chair while you brush, brush with your mouth mostly closed, use a stim toy in your other hand (the spike ones are great for taking your attention away from your mouth), and blasting music in headphones while you brush.
You may also look into toothbrushes for sensory issues. There are designs which reduce how much you actually have to do in terms of brushing. You could always treat yourself like a dog and find a chewy that has ridges that reach your gums when you bite it.
You could even get an enzymatic toothpaste! These are often designed for dogs, which means they are designed to clean your teeth without brushing. You can smear it on your teeth and wait a bit before rinsing. It could be enough to use an enzymatic toothpaste and flosser (I am not a dentist).
I have trouble taking care of my teeth because everything that involves doing that is a sensory nightmare. I decide to do some research to see if there's anything I can do about this. The results?
"How to make your autistic child brush their teeth"
"Autistic Children and Sensory issues relating to tooth brushing"
"How to get your little shit to brush his fucking teeth"
Like, yeah Google, thanks, that really helps. And like, even if I was a child, some of the advice seemed... unhelpful. Like, doing a dance and singing a song while brushing your teeth? Even for a kid, I don't think that would help distract from a sensory experience as intense as brushing your teeth. Like, the extremely intense and unpleasant flavor, the intense feeling of the brush against your teeth scraping across it, even mouthwash has such an intense and disgusting flavor that I have difficulty keeping it in my mouth for more than a few seconds. I wish there was SOMETHING that could be done.

Say goodbye to swollen, bleeding gums and hello to a healthy smile!
What is gum disease?
Gum disease is a chronic condition that affects the Gum tissue in the mouth. The disease can cause pain, swelling, and loss of function in the gums. There are many different types of gum disease, but they all have one common cause- plaque buildup on teeth and other dental structures.
The best way to prevent gum disease is to keep your teeth clean and healthy. Make sure to brush and floss every day, and avoid eating foods that are high in sugar or starches. If you do develop gum disease, there are many effective treatment options available.
Some of the most common treatments for gum disease include oral hygiene products such as toothpaste and mouthwash; antibiotics; surgery; and periodontal therapy (gum care). It's important to choose the right treatment for you, based on your specific situation.
Preventive measures to avoid gum disease
Gum disease is a common oral health issue that can lead to tooth loss. There are many factors that can contribute to gum disease, including poor oral hygiene habits, smoking, and diet. Here are some effective treatment options for gum disease:

2. Avoid eating foods that cause plaque buildup on your teeth and gums, such as red meat, sugar-rich drinks, and processed foods.
3. Use a mouthwash twice a day to clean your teeth and gums. Choose a mouthwash with anti-bacterial properties if you have gum problems.
4. Apply an over-the-counter topical pain reliever to the affected area twice a day for relief from pain and inflammation.
The signs and symptoms of gum disease
Gum disease is a common problem that can lead to serious health consequences. Here are some signs and symptoms to watch for:
– Bad breath: One of the earliest signs of gum disease is bad breath. This is caused by bacteria multiplying in the plaque on the teeth.

Treatments for gum disease
There are a variety of treatments for gum disease, and the best approach depends on the severity of the condition. Treatment options may include oral medications, surgery, and periodontal therapy. Oral medications may help reduce inflammation and improve gum health. Surgery may be necessary if an abscess or other complication is present. PSA: YOUR TOOTHPASTE SHOULD NOT BE SPICY (Plus lifehack)
I recently learned on tumblr that toothpaste is not meant to be spicy. In my thirty five years of life, no one had told me that before. (In fact, when I briefly used a citrus flavoured toothpaste, I thought that it wasn’t cleaning my mouth properly because it wasn’t spicy) Spicy toothpaste is a sign that either you have a sensory issue or you’re sensitive to something in your toothpaste. Mint toothpaste is often perceived as spicy by people. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO USE THE SPICY TOOTHPASTE. Odds are good that you can find a children’s toothpaste (MAKE SURE IT HAS FLUORIDE) that will not be spicy. If the ‘normal’ ones are still spicy, try some of the ‘natural’ ones because they may have slightly different ingredients and you might be able to figure out which ingredient is the real culprit. BUT, YOU SAY, CHILDREN’S TOOTHPASTE COMES IN AN OVERWHELMING NUMBER OF FLAVOURS! Here’s where the lifehack comes in: That’s okay. You’re an adult and I’m an adult and I am going to tell you something life-changing. Come closer. Too close! Ah, perfect. You can buy more than one flavour and try them. It’s okay to not like something and to try it and learn that. If you really hate it, you can throw it out or offer it to a friend, loved one, or roommate! I was overwhelmed by options, so my wife got me a bunch of different flavours.
You can have a really fun toothpaste tasting month (or longer) and determine which is your favourite! It’s super fun! And you get to NOT BURN WHEN YOU BRUSH YOUR TEETH! (Incidentally the dragon one that says hello is so far my favourite)

Hiiiii 💛 I saw the mini fic thing you did for explaining the dentists to the demon bros and I was wondering if you would do second part to it?? Like mc taking them with them to their appointment so they can see (and get more confused/horrified lol🤪) anyways you deff don’t have to but I thought it would be cute 🥺👉🏻👈🏻🧡
taking them to the dentist (dentist pt 2)
includes: satan & you, asmo & you, the brothers & you (gn!reader, no pronouns mentioned)
wc: .6k | rated g | m.list | pt 1
warnings: you go to the dentist, so if that/teeth makes you squeamish this isn't for you
a/n: hello! this didn't quite go in the confused/horrified direction but i hope you still like it. thanks for requesting! my inbox is open to chat, leave feedback, or req, so come say hi!! and this will be going on ao3, combined with part 1!
reblog please mwah mwah
“you’re all coming to my appointment?” you ask, arching an eyebrow, decidedly unimpressed. “there are seven of you. you’ll fill up the waiting room, not to mention be in the way.”
the brothers exchange looks, obviously seeing the logic in your argument.
“look,” you sigh. “i’m going to get ready. decide amongst yourself who is going to come. no more than three of you can, alright?”
stepping into the bathroom to floss and brush your teeth once more, you roll your eyes, hoping that they’ll be able to figure it out. if they don’t, well, you guess you’ll just go alone.
once you’re ready, you grab your wallet and keys, preparing yourself to walk into a warzone. instead, the living room is surprisingly calm, though you do see mammon quickly hide a pout.
“who’s coming?” you ask, and satan, asmo, and belphie step forward. interesting- not who you would have thought. deciding not to question it lest you cause a fight, you just nod. “alright. get in the car.
━━━━━━
“i hope you don’t mind that i’ve brought visitors,” you say to the receptionist,, a bit chagrined. “they’re from somewhere else and want to learn about the local dentist practice.”
“well it is a bit unorthodox.” the receptionist shifts. “but you’re the last appointment slot for today, so i suppose it’ll be alright. if one of them would like to go into the room with you, that’s fine, but the other two will have to remain out in the living room.”
you hear some shuffling and whispering behind you, and a moment later, satan speaks up. “i’ll go.”
no doubt he’s the one accompanying you because of his ability to assess situations accurately and logically. the brothers likely decided he’d be able to give the most accurate retelling.
“sounds good.” the receptionist types something on his computer. “they’ll be ready for you in a moment. for now, take a seat.”
it doesn’t take long for you to be called in, and soon enough you’re lounging in the chair, bib around your neck. satan is in the corner, watching you with shrewd eyes.
the dental assistant makes quick work of checking your mouth, making small talk all of the while, and you easily allow her to look over your teeth, scraping away bits of plaque and other gunk. satan eyes the sharp tools warily, but thankfully isn’t impulsive enough to intervene, trusting the professionals.
after rinsing your teeth, the dental assistant smiles. “the dentist will be in in a moment,” she promises, quickly taking her leave of the room.
“did that seem so bad?” you ask satan, who shrugs.
“no,” he admits unwillingly. “but there’s still more.”
the dentist is efficient too, and nothing sets satan off. he actually seems a little disappointed, but you can’t bring yourself to care, not with all of the trouble they’ve caused you regarding this.
“you're good to go,” your dentist says, moving the chair back into a sitting position. “make sure to schedule your next appointment before leaving.”
“of course,” you say, tongue running over the fluoride applied to your teeth. “thank you.”
when you return to the waiting room, asmo and belphie jump up, anxious.
“how did it go?” belphie asks, and while satan explains it to him, you work with the receptionist to place your next appointment. asmo joins you, watching the interaction.
“so, insurance covered this amount,” the receptionist says, pointing at a figure, “so you only have to pay this.” you hand over your wallet, and once the payment has been accepted, you step away, working to get the brothers out the door. once you’re in the parking lot, asmo is the first to speak up.
“i still don’t quite understand insurance,” he complains, and you stifle a laugh. oh, asmo.

I actually know a thing or two here! For me personally, I try to use cruelty-free brands where I can. One thing that really sucks is that a lot of "natural" or cruelty-free brands tend to be flouride-free as well. (One of the few downsides of shopping at the worker-owned co-op, unfortunately) Unless you have a condition where you're swallowing toothpaste instead of spitting, you *definitely* want fluoride.
The main ingredients you're looking for with sensitivity is "stannous flouride" or "potassim nitrate"
For a long time I used "hello" brand (I'm actually still working through a tube of their stuff now). They also have some pretty good flavors for those who don't like mint. Unfortunately they aren't specifically designed for sensitivity, like the one below. Do make sure you get the ones with flouride, since they sell a lot of flouride-free pastes. I did find out hello is owned by Colgate; however, the hello brand is still cruelty-free.
After painstaking Internet searching, I finally found vegan, cruelty-free, floruide-containing sensitive toothpaste designed by actual dentists. It doesn't get better than this folks. Behold, Spotlight Oral Care
Finally, DO NOT GET WITHIN 100 FEET OF CHARCOAL TOOTHPASTE! You're literally scrubbing away the enamel! You definitely shouldn't be using it every day.
Okay listen I have another disability related thing that’s important!!
If you have any disabilities linked to tooth decay/erosion, through direct cause or secondary symptom, it is vital that you get one or both of the following items: Sensodyne toothpaste and enamel repair mouthwash
This includes health conditions such as acid reflux, diabetes, thyroid conditions, fibromyalgia, chronic pain & mental illnesses such as depression that create poor hygiene routines, sensory issue disorders like autism and ADHD, and any health condition that causes frequent vomiting / increased stomach acid, including eating disorders and migraines.
All of these disabilities will erode the enamel of your teeth, not only opening you up to cavities but making it very easy to chip your teeth from such simple things as biting the wrong way on the tines of a fork. (I’ve chipped my teeth at least 4 times this way).
The toothpaste on the left here (sensodyne pronamel) is gentle on your teeth, won’t cause painful sensations from any extreme mint flavor, and will even protect your gums if they’re sensitive from any of these conditions.
The mouthwash on the right (Crest enamel repair) will, as it says, repair your enamel — which is marvelous, because the technology to repair your enamel at all is relatively very new to society! — but it is most importantly non-alcoholic. Meaning that it works well as a once-a-day rinse without any of the burning sensations of antiseptics that typically discourage people with sensory issues from taking care of their teeth.
I know remembering to do these things every day can feel like a lot when you’re sick and exhausted, but I promise a collective three minutes out of every day is going to save you an incredible amount of pain and money in the future. If your teeth are susceptible enough to rot, you can actually die from infection. And as they say, with how little insurance actually covers dental —
Not brushing your teeth??
In THIS economy???

KOTLC book one READ ALONG part 2 of 5
I read the first Keeper of the Lost Cities book and annotated every page. Here are the highlights. (Part 1 / Part 2 / Part 3/ Part 4/ Part 5)
Chapter 11
Tiergan: “I’ll see you Tuesday.” This is a weird thing to focus on, but… they have a seven day week like we do?
Soooo okay okay okay why are they giving her a top-level education gratis? Do they plan to use her once she graduates? Nothing in life is free.
Sophie: “What am I supposed to tell my family? They’re not going to let me disappear every day with no explanation.” Alden: “About that, Sophie. You and I need to have a talk.” OH-HO the truth come out
The sorrow in his eyes made her feel like she’d swallowed something slimy. Clearly, it wasn’t going to be a pleasant conversation. Ah—so this is a kidnapping. Cool.
Her registry pendant, Della explained. Everyone had to wear one, so they could be easily found. Oh so a collar. I’ll be ditching that come time for the revolution
Sophie: “But… why does anyone work, then—if they already have money?” Della: “What else would we do with our time?” Sophie: “I don’t know. Something fun?” Della: “Work is fun.” Spoken like somebody who’s never worked retail on Black Friday. Some work is dangerous and boring. Who’s doing that stuff?
Chapter 12
Alden: “Now that the Council knows you exist, they’ve ordered that you move here. Effective immediately.” Oh, I see. A kidnapping.
She didn’t belong in the human world, and she was tired of pretending she did. It feels a little messed up for all these elves to keep insisting that she doesn’t belong with humans. She probably won’t feel like she totally belongs with elves, either, and then she won’t feel like she fits in anywhere. Y’all gonna give this child a complex.
Sophie: “You’re going to kill me off?” Alden: “As far as your family and the rest of the humans are concerned… yes.” IT IS A KIDNAPPING
Chapter 13
Sophie: “I drugged my family.” Fitz: “You did the right thing.” Sophie: “It doesn’t feel like the right thing.” HELLO *looking around fandom* ARE WE ALL SEEING THIS??
To be honest I don’t have a lot of notes for this chapter because it was just so heartbreaking and distressing. Like I have one note at the end of the chapter and all it says is “oof”
Someone protect this child
Chapter 14
Alden: “Fitz can help you get settled in here while we’re gone.” Sophie: “Here? I’ll be living here?” Sweetie, Fitz can’t be your step-brother ’cause then there won’t be a love triangle
Elwin: “Whoa, that is some serious damage. It’s not permanent… And it’s not your fault. Toxic food, toxic water, toxic air.” Fluoride, smallpox vaccinations, 5G…
Elwin: “Now, try not to let this worry you, but your body needs a major detox. We’ll start with these.” …My essential oils
Chapter 15
Alden: They run an animal preserve at Havenfield, so they always have all kinds of exciting things going on.” COOOL
“We’ve even had to collect endangered species—gorillas, lions, mammoths—” YES THANK YOU SHANNON
“Grady and Edaline train the animals to be vegetarians by feeding them gnomish produce; that way they won’t hunt one another once they’re moved to the Sanctuary.” mmm good luck obligate carnivores
“Another roar interrupted their conversation. Whatever it was sounded like it wasn’t happy about its new diet plan.” It is dying slowly because it can’t produce its own taurine but OK
Hopefully elf veggies are different than earth veggies. That’s just what I’m going to keep telling myself.
The path lead to a wide meadow, where gnomes were using thick ropes to lasso what looked like a giant lizard covered in neon green feathers. UNNH YES I DON’T DESERVE THIS
Also no wonder nobility work for fun, they got gnomes out here doin’ the dangerous jobs
I’m not going to bore you with my breakdown of this dinosaur reconstruction but as a person who worked in a museum as a paleontology educator these bits are the most exciting parts of the book for me. I rate this tyrannosaur 6/10 for scientific accuracy and 10/10 for handsomeness. Shannon Messenger gets 20/10 for popularizing feathered theropods.
…she couldn’t decide if he reminded her more of James Bond or Robin Hood—which felt wrong. He was so unlike her chubby, balding dad she wasn’t sure how to relate. Sophie, meet your new, hotter dad.
Chapter 16
At Sophie’s nod she conjured up a bowl of orange glop and a spoon. Why do elves eat so much goo? This whole time it’s been nothing but goo
Della: “Our world is ‘talent-based’.” AH-HA
Sophie: “Seems kind of unfair.” Yeah, who decides which talents matter and which don’t?
“Get ready to add the amarallitine, Dex.” Oh, I’ve heard of YOU
Grady: “I wouldn’t be surprised if he pushes for you to get transferred to Exillium—and let’s just say it’s somewhere you don’t want to go.” Oh, so there are BAD schools… it all comes together…
So if Edaline and Juline are sisters, is Dex like Sophie’s foster cousin?
Chapter 17
Dex: “The Leapmaster 500. You’re lucky. My parents aren’t nobility, so they’re only authorized to have the 250—it’s missing tons of cool places.” Like bad Netflix. I don’t love that this society limits where poor people can go.
Dame Alina: “First and foremost, whoever put the reekrod in my desk over the weekend will—It’s not funny!” *the camera slowly zooms in on Dex*
A spotlight focused on Sophie. Well, first day ruined. Only took fifteen minutes.
Her name hissed around the room like a viper’s nest. “Ssssssophie.”
Stina: “You left it open, idiot. I guess remembering to close doors is too hard for the son of a bad match to remember.” Ah wonderful, eugenics. I love elf school
Chapter 18
“Mastering all the elements is one of the steps toward entering the nobility.” Everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked
“Dude.” Is this a human-obsessed thing or is there straight-up an elvish word for dude
Sophie: “What exactly is a ‘bad match’?” Marella: “A couple that was ruled genetically incompatible. Usually that means their kids will be inferior.” THERE ARE SCREENINGS??
Sophie: “What’s Exillium?” Marella: “The school where they send the hopeless cases.” Yep I want to go there
Chapter 19
Telepaths were in high demand. Once she’d proven trustworthy, she’d receive assignments from the Council. OH OKAY so they send her to wizard school and when she graduates they don’t miss a beat, just scoop her on up and enlist her
If a prodigy hadn’t manifested by Level Four, they might be expelled—and even if they stayed at Foxfire, they couldn’t take the elite levels, which meant they’d never be nobility. Most ended up working class.
But once again it didn’t escape her notice that Grady avoided telling her what his special ability was. It couldn’t be something bad. Could it? The man has dinosaurs so if he was going to do something bad I feel like he’d have done it already
Chapter 20
Sophie: “Prentice?” Marella: “Yeah. He was this supertalented Telepath, but he got exiled like twelve years ago.” Oh as old as I am hm how interesting go onnn…
Lady Galvin: “Don’t you know anything about alchemy?” FFFF that’s why I’m HERE you old BAG
Lady Galvin: “Dame Alina probably thinks this is funny, forcing me to teach such basic serums. Well, I won’t have it.” You know, you aren’t getting paid, you can quit. I don’t mind.
“I’m Keefe.” Will this bad boy help us lead the resistance?
Keefe: “Did you do any damage?” Sophie: “Only her cape.” Keefe: “Whoa, whoa, whoa. Do you have any idea how epic that is?” I really like this lil anarchist.
Keefe: “Destroyed Galvin’s cape.” Elwin: “Wish I could’ve seen that!” I’m recruiting this man for the rebellion. Keefe and Elwin get sorted in the Chaotic Good pile for the day of reckoning.
Stay tuned for Part 3.

Uhhhhh here's my lengthy review of hello products kids strawberry toothpaste with fluoride... lol....
Tl;dr, this product tastes amazing while you're using it but it does not clean your mouth. I had to use my old toothpaste to brush a second time because my mouth tasted bad an hour after brushing with hello brand. I would return it if I could.
Hello, I'm 21, and I bought this toothpaste for myself because I wanted a toothpaste that tastes good instead of one that makes me grimace and dread using. Not for anyone who doesn't like sweets, that for sure, though I doubt you need me telling you that. Tastes just like strawberry flavored chewing gum. I love the flavor. Brushed twice today for the first time in months (I've been brushing only once a day). After flossing as usual, I used the hello brand paste as directed in the correct amount with the hello brand soft tapered bristles brush for about 3-4 minutes and used the kids strawberry fluoride rinse after (also tastes amazing, especially after having used a truly horrid big name brand alcohol mouth disaster in the past), also as directed. Toothpaste only my mouth just didn't feel clean, I still had the barest taste of the food I had eaten. Only after the rinse did my mouth feel clean. So the second time I brushed today I felt like I needed to use the rinse again despite the directions saying to only use it once a day. It's been almost a couple hours since I brushed, my breath still smells a bit like strawberry, but my mouth is really tasting bad and sour like I haven't brushed my teeth. I've seen other reviews mention this. There's kind of a heartburn feeling in my throat and the back of my tongue that came on after I used the rinse. Not sure if it's the toothbrush or the toothpaste that's making the job seem inadequate. I'll probably alternate between the tasty hello brand paste and the gross tasting big name brand "fresh mint" toothpaste I was using before so I only have to use the rinse once a day as directed. After I run out of these products I don't think I'll buy more. But I can't stress this enough, the flavor is absolutely incredible. Other notes: I haven't used natural toothpaste before so I don't know if this is normal for them, but the toothpaste went runny and watery very quickly, instead of holding onto more of a foamy texture. When I went to brush my tongue, most of it fell out of my mouth like water. Similarly, when I squeezed it out onto my brush, I had to get it into my mouth quickly because it doesn't hold shape. Again, could be that it's just missing some chemical that makes regular toothpastes more solid. I don't know enough to speak on that, just an observation. Package design is beautiful as well, very pleasant to look at, really cute and modern.

Teeth Whitening At The Technique
Most teeth whitening procedures are done with the use of a bleaching agent, usually hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide. A bleaching gel is applied to the teeth and left on for a set amount of time depending on how sensitive the teeth are to whitening agents. It can take several applications for a noticeable difference in the tooth's color to become apparent. Hydrogen peroxide has been the most effective at whitening as well as being the safest, but some people are allergic to it, which limits its use to teeth whitening.

Moreover, teeth whitening methods can only work effectively with the support of bleaching agent that contains a good concentration of hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide. These ingredients have the capability to penetrate deep into the surface of teeth to reach the stain.
There are two types of teeth whitening products that can help you get rid of your discolored teeth. One is the tray system and the other is the bleaching pen. However, both have their own advantages and disadvantages. Toner tray system involves applying the bleaching gel directly onto the teeth. However, this method is not very effective as it only brightens the shade of teeth that are discolored and not eliminate the discoloration completely. On the other hand, using the bleaching pen is less effective as compared to the trays as the gel gets accumulated in between the teeth unlike the trays, which remain on the teeth for an extended period of time.
