The Bat-Adoption Papers are literal Magic Contracts

So! In the Deified Batman AU (the AU where the Belief of the peoples of Gotham accidentally Ascended Batman to minor godhood), the Bat Adoption Papers would be a fun concept.

Batman is a God of The Night, Fear, and Protection. Specifically, the protection of Children, which is one of his biggest motivators. Meaning, it's a big part of his Divine Domain.

So when he, a God of Protection and Children, adopts his own Child? It's kind of a big deal.

His Adoption Papers basically become Magical Contracts that claim Dick to him as his own Son, basically turning Dick into a Demigod by the fact that he is the Son of a God.

Then each time Batman adopts a kid, they become a Demigod as well. Maybe after enough time, and after they forge their own Identities, they could become Minor Gods of their own? Idk, fun idea

Why do I bring this up?

Well, when Danny eventually joins the JLA, and runs into Batman, all he sees in a God of the Night, who takes one look at him, and then pulls out a Magical Binding Contract from his Belt.

Needless to say, he books it.

City Spirits AU with the Phantoms (and Jazz) complaining about whichever human they're watching over.

Jazz sighed. All four of the Phantoms were sitting in a circle on the bridge between Bludhaven and Gotham City. “Jason keeps telling me to take breaks, but I’m a spirit! How can I take breaks while my champion is over here breaking his back trying to help my domain?”

Dani snorted. “Well, he’s not wrong. You work too hard, Jazz.”

Jazz immediately sulked at the lack of support. Dani patted her back and was pulled into a squeezing hug by Jazz for her troubles. Dan then said, “I feel you. Dick keeps passing out on rooftops and high places, and I have to bring him back down and back to bed. I think he thinks that he sleepwalks or something. How am I supposed to fix something like that?!”

Danny replied, “You could make something wake him up so you won’t have to do it himself. Then he can get back home on his own. That’s what I do with Bruce.”

“No one asked you,” Dan snapped, glaring at him. Danny scowled at him and then looked at their sisters for help. Jazz was still cuddling a struggling Dani, as she sighed again.

“Dan, that was very rude.”

“Hmph.”

Dani whined and when Jazz finally relinquished her constrictor-like grip, Dani took an exaggerated gulp of air before she complained, “It’s not fair! I don’t get a champion, but all of you guys do!”

They all stared at her with varying degrees of pity, amusement, and exasperation. “Dani,” Danny said, “you don’t have a champion because you wanted to watch over all of them, remember? Weren’t you traveling with Stephanie in Metropolis just a few days ago for a case?”

Dani crossed her arms and huffed. “Yeah,” she said grumpily.

Jazz grinned and nudged her. “Well? It was fun, right?”

Dani nodded sullenly. “Yeah, it was awesome. We went over three times the speed limit.”

“See? You don’t need a champion!” Jazz said cheerfully, ignoring the last part.

The three Dannies all shared a look, although Dan seemed to be disgusted doing so.

Danny then sighed and said, “Bruce keeps overworking himself too. Just last night, he passed out after staying awake for almost three days. Usually, that’s something that Tim would do, but I can’t believe that Bruce is setting a bad example for the kids!”

Dan muttered under his breath, “He’s been setting bad examples since he became Batman in the first place.”

All four of them sighed thinking about it. It was hard to be a city spirit when the humans you watched over were so aggravating.

I saw some dragon Bruce AU's and I love them.

So here’s my take.

Bruce never new he was a dragon, it wasn’t until Constantine made a comment about it expecting him to know.

Apparently, his parents were dragons, Constantine can’t say if they were good or bad, just a majority of dragons hate humans,

See them as lesser beings.

But what he can say is that his parents had a shit ton of magic, if whatever's been keeping Bruce concealed is to go off by.

Constantine also explains, that most magic users don’t kill dragons, since often times killing a dragon activates a curse.

Constantine jokes, not really joking, that the reason Gotham is so cursed is probably that his parents' death actually led to one activating.

He tells Bruce he won’t be sure what will happen if the concealment that’s been keeping Bruce’s dragon form at bay ever stops.

For one all those locked up emotions and instincts, could lead to him killing his entire family or worse everyone in Gotham.

Or he could forcibly take over Gotham, since he might see it as his right, his property his domain.

So now Bruce has to deal with that, trying to come up with contingency plans for himself, he’s even surprised Alfred wasn’t even aware of his parents true nature.

But until he figures out more he will keep it under wraps from the rest of his family. And that’s my shitty nearly 1AM Drabble.

This becomes a problem however when 

Bruce searches for him because wants to save Jason. Danny can save Jason not in the--im a time traveler and i can bring him or you back from or to the past--but in the, I’m a ghost king and have domain over the dead haha

Batfam become really concerned watching Phantom fight because “if he has time travel powers why doesn’t he avoid getting hit every time he can” and get worried phantom is purposefully letting himself get hurt

Danny in all honesty is just vibin the entire time while the batfam is going crazy at every sliver of info they get about danny because like

This guy whos somehow been able to stop and rehabilitate rouges (ghosts) in his town is 15??

he may be the kindest most self destructive kid they've ever met like who immediately agrees to help people who were trying to capture and interogate him because he 'thinks we are better than the last billionaire who did this' what the FUCK

Oh yeah and they find out as a bonus in the end that his normal unpowered form he is a teen with black hair and blue eyes (bruce no no dont do it dont--)

Bruce is losing his mind

Okay so at the start of this there’s an unknown vigilante (danny) that Batman tends to bump into. Except Batman isn’t sure what he is.

Every time they run into each other Batman can tell there should just be a person beside him but before he gets a glimpse and opens his eyes to empty fresh air.

A vigilante that can vanish before their very eyes?

What do the bats think about this?

They think this vigilante can control time and is doing that to sneak out of their gaze.

Now here’s where the funny part comes in

Bruce goes on a wild hunt to search for the vigilante with a plan. To make them turn back time so that he can save his son.

The problem with this?

Danny is not a time traveler most days–scratch that he's not one at all. He can save his son Jason though, in fact he wants to, it’s just he needs to figure out a way to do this whilst not blowing his cover that he is the goddamn ghost king.

So he pretends that he does have time powers and that he just… uh… needs a minute to figure them out… yeah that!

Cue Batfam getting progressively more worried about Danny because ‘if he could turn back time—why doesn’t he avoid those hits?’

They all kinda think Danny is like purposefully hurting himself so now Danny is forced to eat breakfast with them and sleep at their manor.  I mean he’s confused at why they always look so worried about something but he’ll make sure Batman’s son gets home soon! Plus the rich people temporary-living-situation without all the ‘I want to adopt you’ billionaire bullshit is pretty sweet!!

(somewhere in the ghost zone jason is tearing up laughing at the batfam as they struggle to not burst into flames trying to figure out danny-- like for christs sake they think the ghost king is an american doctor who and are trying to get him to spill where his tardis is)

Most of the Batpups are Half-Siblings AU

Wherein Willis Todd had mad rizz and is the biological father of not just Jason, but Dick, Cass, and Tim as well.

Mary and John were friends and coworkers who were romantically interested in each other but were reluctant to make a move. Mary was worried she’d seem unprofessional if she acted on her feelings. John couldn’t tell she was interested and didn’t want to risk making her uncomfortable by saying something. Mary met Willis while the circus was in Gotham and had a date with him after their show that culminated with Dick’s conception. John was very supportive of her after she learned she was pregnant and the two of them finally admitted their feelings for each other when she was helping him put together a temporarily solo act.

Sandra and Willis had met when they were both young and first striking out on their own. They would hook up whenever she was near Gotham and he wasn’t in a relationship. She honestly hadn’t thought to say anything to David Cain when he made his offer because a) her private life was none of his business and b) she’d slept with Willis enough times that she thought, what would be the odds she happened to get pregnant right before trying to have Cain’s child? She similarly didn’t mention having a kid to Willis because it wasn’t really any of his business.

They didn’t flaunt it or even bring it up in civilized company, but Jack and Janet had something of an open relationship prior to getting married. They always attended events together and knew they’d commit to one another eventually, as everyone assumed they would. As long as they were honest with each other and used protection, they didn’t hold any temporary infatuations against the other. Janet and Willis met at the library one day and the chemistry was there so they had a fun night together (the condom failed) without ever even exchanging surnames or numbers. When she learned she was pregnant, Jack knew he might not be the father, but they decided it didn’t really matter since he felt childcare was largely the woman’s domain anyway.

Dick was too young to remember his parents’ wedding and everyone considered him John’s kid, too, so no one at the circus thought to mention it to him.

When Sandra realized Cassandra was her daughter, it still hadn’t occurred to her that she might be Willis’ child.

Janet and Jack never told anyone that Tim might not be Jack’s biological child, including Tim, and they were married so no proof was needed to put Jack’s name on Tim’s birth certificate.

Jason was too young for Willis to tell him about any of his youthful hookups before he died. It never occurred to him that the man might have other children.

None of the batpups had any idea that they shared a biological father.

After Red Hood made his big reveal, Bruce ran some fo his blood to confirm it was Jason before allowing himself to get his hopes up. He was initially too stunned (and heartbroken) at the knowledge that it truly was Jason, to pay any attention to the other little dings the Batcomputer made.

Some time later, while organizing his files, Bruce notices that Jason's file had a mark for several first-degree blood relatives that shouldn’t be there. When he checks, he finds out that in addition to proving Jason's identity, the Batcomputer had matched him up to Dick, Cass, and Tim. He runs the tests again, just to be sure (because what are the odds). Again, it says they’re biological half-siblings.

He does a little investigating in the hopes of being better prepared to answer some questions for them when he tells them, but Sandra Wu San is the only one still alive to speak to. No one at Haly’s Circus will tell him anything other than how beloved each of the Graysons were and are. Janet Drake kept excellent records when it came to travel logs, business proceedings, and Tim’s health to education, but nothing that could possibly tell him how Tim came to be.

Eventually, he decides (after Alfred threatens him) that he has to tell them the truth.

Dick hops on his bike and heads straight to Haly’s because they’ll tell him anything they wouldn’t tell Bruce. Mr Haly does end up telling him about his parents, although he never knew Willis’ name. Dick is reminded that his parents loved each other as much as he remembers and that this doesn’t change his memories with them.

Cass contacts Lady Shiva to meet her and demands to know everything she can tell her. Then she kicks Shiva’s ass because she could have never met David Cain. She could have been raised with her little brother. She could have protected her little brother. She doesn’t know what (if any) official records she has, but she starts introducing herself as Cassandra Todd instead of Cassandra Cain afterwards. David Cain breaks out of Black gate to leave her a note that she’ll always be his before returning to his cell.

Tim has no one left to ask about it, but he knew Janet much better than Bruce, so he goes over everything the older man had, to see if he can glean anything from it that Bruce couldn’t. Unfortunately, Janet didn’t leave any answers behind so he’ll never know how she and Willis Todd ended up having a kid together. If this is after Bruce adopted him, he keeps the name Wayne and if it’s before, he still accepts the name Wayne afterwards.

Jason had seen Willis’ little black book, so he’s not surprised to learn the old man got around back in the day. The only thing that truly bothers him is Tim being his little brother. Assaults and murder attempts against said little brother aside, Jason knows his dad hadn’t met his mom yet when Dick, Cass, and even himself were conceived. However, Tim is just young enough that it’s hard to say if Janet got pregnant just before or after they started dating. He goes back to his old neighborhood to try to find answers. No one can tell him the exact date his parents met or when their first date was, but all are convinced that Willis loved Catherine and would never have cheated on her.

Jason will just have to hope that’s true.

Afterwards, Dick invites each of his (now blood) little siblings out for Batburgers. They decide not to say anything about Dick or Tim’s parentage publicly since they don’t want people making assumptions about their mothers, but they’ll tell their friends.

Crunch.

Tim watched in horror as Batman - Bruce - shattered the man’s femur. What…what had happened in Gotham? Where was Robin? Tim had been at camp for a couple of months, but he was every summer, this had never happened before. It was almost like the times Bruce and Dick had argued before, but a thousand times worse. 

He sunk into the shadows, letting them envelop him, completely invisible. Going invisible usually felt like a cool comfort, grounding him to his father’s domain, but now it felt chilly as his hero seemed to disregard his code, not holding back at all. Something had happened, probably to Jason, if his absence was anything to go by. Tim just needed to find out what. He must have run off like Dick had before, Tim could just find him and bring him home. 

Batman grappled away, leaving the goons barely breathing. Tim stepped out of the shadows, mutely stabilizing the men. He’d never been much of a healer, but of course he’d learned at camp. Demigod injuries always healed quickly, but a photographic memory and a lesson from Lee Fletcher came front of mind, guiding him through the steps for a tourniquet and quick call to 911 to pick up the injured men. 

“No one,” he muttered under his breath, “is allowed to die here. I can help you, at least.”

Jason was dead. 

Jason was dead, he was dead, Robin was dead, his friend was dead. 

Tim’s ears were ringing, he couldn’t breath, Jason was dead.

Dead, dead, dead. 

It wasn’t right, it wasn’t his time, and Tim - 

Oh. Oh.

One day you will challenge death itself. My children rarely have happy lives, but a shadow looms over yours darker than most. 

Ah-ah, little half-blood. Your time will come to challenge Death, but for now, wait your turn.

Tim closed his eyes. Gods, he hated prophecies.

But who was he to refuse? 

He usually left the dead to Nico, but he was still a prince of the Underworld, and Gotham was his city. He leaned backwards into his own shadow and fell straight into the cool, velvety darkness, reappearing sitting on the judge’s bench in the Hall of Judgement. 

“Sorry to interrupt,” he snarled, grabbing Shakespeare by the ruff, “Where is Jason Todd?”

Dick Grayson is a Banshee

Tim Drake is, drum roll, a drake! (Aka a dragon without wings) well, half drake

Bruce Wayne is a human with adoption problems, hence why the people of Gotham rumor Brucie to be an Erlking (a powerful type of fae that likes to snatch children)

Jason didn’t so much as live on the streets as he took to living in Gotham cemetery before Bruce caught him stealing tires

Jason’s favorite form is that of a black dog, but he can also change into a lamb/sheep or a horse, but he feels safest in the canine form

Dick and Jason were very close due to their creature domains being closely interconnected

When Jason was fourteen he turned into a horse and dared Dick to ride on his back. They were benched with broken arms and legs a few hours later. Neither regret a single thing

Jason liked to curl up beside either Bruce or Dick in bed as a puppy only to wake up as a lamb, both B and Dick thought it was hilarious

Church Grims are very rare, so neither Bruce or Dick realized that by burying Jason in a cemetery after his death, the basically forced him to forever remain tied to that place and guide the souls there to the afterlife, unable to leave or interact with the world of the living

I think Earth hasn't really debated sapient AI rights, since the only one there is is the Batcomputer. And maybe it was predated by H.A.R.D.A.C., depending on your HC in the Silken Emperor AU, which gives it further reason not to draw attention to itself. Because if it reveal itself and people start looking into any other computing anomalies that may be budding AIs to reach out to, then certain events in the mid 90s involving Cybertron Industries would raise some eyebrows for sure. The massive investments in AI research, sudden total lockdown of their Gotham HQ, Batman's involvement in the events, the fact that prominent Gothamites, people, were replaced by Stepford Wives robotic duplicates and some of the real people are still missing, and then the sudden liquidation of the company and their CEO/founder/chief scientist Karl Rossum retiring to a farm with a bad case of depression and "I toiled in God's domain" type mad scientist regrets...This investigation would lead to the public reaction of "HOLY SHIT, SKYNET WAS REAL AND BATMAN STOPPED IT THANK GOD BUT NOW THERE MIGHT BE MORE", which is not a good look for artificial sapients.

Also, there's the matter of dear old B.C. having root access or the next best thing to root access to the entire combined information network of the industrialized world and quite a bit of the non-industrialized bits as well (decades of Batman's pre-emptive "just in case" hacking of practically every group and agency he could plausibly, at some point, need to get information from for a case, and also Wayne Enterprises tech going into every newly made computer this side of Jiangsu*). Like, even if H.A.R.D.A.C. never existed in your HC, then that's really fucking worrisome to literally everyone who isn't Batman or doesn't trust Batman.

*Batman has the root access codes for the knockoff last-generation WE tech the Chinese are making. The Chinese don't even bother hiding their patent theft, the CCP-owned company that makes the knockoffs is called Enyaw Tech.

Hi! I decided to respond to this version since it seemed to be the final draft, so to speak. Luckily, I caught it before responding to the other one!

Your points made me think about how, if the batfam were real, I wouldn't trust them. I kept getting distracted by that train of thought. We, as the audience, know the Bats, know their moral codes, why they do what they do, and what choices they are probably gonna make in given situations. However, Gothamites and citizens in their world don't know that. If I was a Gothamite, I would mind my business as I didn't trust the Bats. I don't know why they do what they do and I can't trust a stranger. These people beat up others who they perceive to have committed crime.

So, I love the Bats strictly because they are fiction.

On that note, it's understandable if people wouldn't trust Batman and Co. having access to so much information and allowing AI (which a ton people don't trust [due to all the AI horror, ig]) to have open access to it as well.

Add that to their experienced with people around them getting replaced? Yeah. I'd get why they would be freaked out

Dp x Dc x Miraculous: Deified Siblings AU Pt. 1

Based on 2 Prompts.

One is the Deified Batman AU , which you can read here

The other is a Prompt where Danny, Damien, and Marinette are raised together in the League of Assassins. I can't find it at all, so I will go over the gist of it here. (Edit: Found it!, thank you to the person in Replies who linked me)

Danny is the oldest, about 3 or 4 years older than. The other 2. He is the favorite child.

Danny is 10, Damien and Marinette are 6

Damien is seen as the spare, Marinette is seen as the unfortunate addition.

As the Prompt goes, Danny wants to escape the League and takes his little siblings with him. Damien, fully brainwashed by the Leagues ideals, stabs Danny in the back and drops him off a cliff into a River below, thinking he killed him. He tries to take Marinette back, but she backs away and runs.

Damien returns, tells the League that Danny tried to run away and got himself and Marinette killed in the process. Damien only survived because he wasn't stupid enough to try and leave the League.

Damien stays in the League for a while, before he is eventually taken to his father, The Batman when he is 10

Danny survived his murder attempt, but he lost all of his memories and washed up on the shore of the river miles away. He was found by the Fentons, who were in Europe on a research trip, and was adopted. Canon goes the same for him.

Marinette ran away, using her skills to get all the way to Paris before managing to get adopted by a loving couple. She becomes Ladybug at 13, the same as in Canon.

This is where the Deification happens.

Lets go Oldest to youngest.

Danny became a God the moment he died. As a Demigod, he was already partially Divine. When he lost his Mortality, he became what was essentially a God with no Domain. So, he built one up.

He became known as a Protector Spirit, as a Winter Spirit, and after defeating Pariah, as a Death God.

By the time he was 16, he was a fully fledged God.

This did help his amnesia a little bit, and he did have a vague sense of what his life was like before he lost his memories, as well as some flashes. But he knew that he preferred his new life, so he never really looked into it.

Damien is the only one who would eventually ascend to God-Hood through Natural Growth.

Damien takes the Mantle of the Robin. And as such, he links himself directly to his father's source of Power, and creates his own Legend, his own Myths. He becomes his own God at around 14.

He is a Vengeful God, one who is Violent. But at the same time he is an Animal God, one who takes care of the abandoned Animals around him. Probably a carry over from his Dad's Protector God Domain.

Marinette became a God last. She had it easiest though.

Marinette was born as a Demigod, and later became Linked with Tikki, who is basically a Small Part of the Goddess of Creation tied to the Miraculous.

Her own fledging Divinity mixed with Tikki'a Divinity and helped her Acsend to God-Hood after about a Year as Hero when she is 14.

She would have done so anyways as a Hero, but without the Gotham Pantheon to attach herself to, it would have taken many more years for her to grow enough to Ascend.

She became a Minor Creation Goddess. She also became a Goddess of Creativity, and Protection as well.

If you are worried about the Balance between Creation and Destruction don't worry, Adrien also becomes a God soon afterwards. His Ascension is mostly because he is a being made of Magic (as a SentiMonster) who was linked with a God through his Miraculous.

(I don't like the stories where Adrien is mistreated for no reason, so here he at least gets to be Ladybugs Equal)

This is the basic premise of the Prompt. I am planning on writing out the potential Story in a Part 2, but until then what do you think?

(Honestly looking at this after finishing writing it, it feels absurd. 3 different Fandoms, plus 2 different Dp x Dc Prompts. You need to be DEEP in the Crossover Fandoms to really understand this. Imagine a casual fan finding this! It would look like Pure insanity!)

I have a question about a detail of your story.

There is a moment where the joker says that now he is the clown of the deck (which seems to be a good thing). But then, who was the clown of the deck before the joker?

And the answer is...

The red hoods!!

We all know that although it is not known (canonically) who the Joker is, it is more than clear that he was one of them! And the truth is that this does not refer to the Joker, but to the former domain of Gotham

*What I'm going to say belongs to my AU*

Before Batman and the Joker, and all those costumed crazy people, Gotham functioned differently. There were only two sides:

The Falcone or The Maroni

The Falcone side was the most respected in Gotham, while Maroni was mocked (those who have read my story will understand)

So Maroni decided to attack the Falcones in a way that the police and Gotham wouldn't notice. Both sides created gangs, publicly it was the gangs that were at war.

Maroni's gangs were losing, and they were looking like clowns, so the Gotham newspaper decided to call these gangs "the clowns of the deck."

And of course, within those gangs was the Red Hood... Plotting their next robbery at the Ace chemical factory~

Salut, je suis Satanders sur ao3, j'écris plein de fanfics (des courtes, des longues, des à chapitres, des one shots, des séries...) sur plein de fandoms.

Quand j'ai commencé ma carrière, wattpad n'existait pas. En vrai je sais même pas si ff.net existait car j'ai commencé sur un vieux site français qui s'appelait franco-fanfic, c'est vous dire à quel point ça remonte.

Je n'aime pas trop le fluff 🌸 même si j'en écris. J'écris beaucoup de smut 🍆💦, plut��t MxM🏳️‍🌈 (mais il m'arrive de faire du FxF, et trèèèès rarement du hét), ainsi que de l'angst très sombre et du hurt/comfort. J'aime les sujets polémiques, car j'aime me questionner et questionner les lecteurices, les choquer ou les piéger.

Les fandoms où j'ai le plus de fics sont Supernatural, Gotham, Gravity Falls et Rick & Morty. Que des fandoms où je ne suis plus trop active !!!

Maintenant j'écris sur Good Omens, Our Flag Means Death, The Untamed, et plein d'autres choses (jeux vidéo, manga, webtoons, tout y passe !!)

J'écris beaucoup car j'ai besoin de créer, mon cerveau bouillonne d'idées ! Malheureusement (ou heureusement si on se place de mon point de vue haha) depuis 2 ans j'ai ralenti car je travaille dans le domaine de la culture et je mets mes idées à profit dans ce contexte là.

Je n'écris pas pour la fame✨️, mais vraiment pour le plaisir. Je me relis peu, ne fais pas de bêta car je n'aime pas me prendre trop la tête sur un texte - ce qui va très mal avec mon ambition d'écrire un roman un jour, maintenant que j'y pense 🤔

Contrairement à beaucoup de gens, apparemment, je ne bois ni alcool 🍺 ni café ☕️ (c'est du moins assez rare) et je réserve le thé 🫖 au travail pour partager un moment convivial avec mes collègues. J'écris rarement en faisant quelque chose d'autre, généralement je suis plutôt focalisée.
