When Alucard finally dies and enters the afterlife, he's going to spend days just cuddled up to Trevor and Sypha, getting used to existence on the other side and absorbing all of the comfort he's been missing for the last however-many-odd-centuries.

Every generation of Belmont that he's ever helped/befriended is going to want to see him, and a buttload of other very curious souls are probably going to be clamoring for a meet-and-greet, but they're all going to have to wait their turn because Trevor and Sypha have no intentions of "sharing" their favorite dhampir anytime soon.

It'd be absolutely hilarious if there was an honest to god que, I can easily picture Sypha yelling at everyone to "Pick a number, and shut the fuck up!"

Trevor and Sypha's kids get first dibs on the reunion after Alucard is finally okay enough to see more of his immediate, first found family without breaking down completely for the second time.

Then Grant has his turn.

Then Trevor and Sypha's grandkids, and so on. This continues until all of the closest Belmonts, Belnades, and Dynasties have had their fill of reunion-ing.

Soma is definitely up there in heaven with everybody else, he 100% starts a fistfight with Richter over who's turn it is before a very disgruntled Simon Belmont breaks them up because it's actually Maria's turn.

I like to imagine that Lisa is up there from time to time, too. Alternating back and forth between heaven and hell at will, so that she can see her husband and son with equal regularity.

Alucard spends several days just glued to his mom, ignoring everything and everyone else around them until she introduces him to her human family.

The idea of Lisa's parents being up there is hilarious, I want them to be progressive cinnamon rolls just like their daughter, and I want Alucard to struggle with being the center of their attention. The idea of having ever had human relatives in Lupu is very hard for Alucard to wrap his head around.

Sypha and Trevor also have a varitable army of dead people that they want him to meet, between Trevor's relatives and the speakers.

Trevor's family is nice enough, at least Gabriel, Marie and everyone else who died during the burning of the Belmont estate are all civil.

Sypha's extended family is incredibly sweet and curious, to the point of being almost suffocating.

Moving on, Leon Belmont is probably one of the kindest unknown parties that Alucard has met so far since his death. The founder of the Belmont clan harbors a soft presence that comes across as almost calming, and he seems to know an awful lot of embarrassing shit about Dracula for some reason.

Some lady named Elisabetha is there, too.

She seems to know Leon pretty well.

Characters of the day:

THE BELMONT FAMILY!! (sorry for being inactive)

In honour of Castlevania Nocturne season 2 coming out, we decided to do the Belmont family! Feel free to add anymore information/headcanons you have of them!

The Belmonts are a family of vampire hunters who have dedicated their lives to slay/hunt the creatures of the night, including Dracula.

They are commonly the protagonists in the Castlevania video game franchise and recently Trevor and Richter are featured as the main characters of their own Castlevania Netflix shows.

Leon Belmont ~1094: "The Belmont clan will hunt the night" - Leon telling Death to inform Dracula that his descendants will destroy him one day.

The earliest member of the Belmont clan and the first one to declare war on the night creatures.

Protagonist of Castlevania: Lament of Innocence.

He became a Knight at 16, and was known as, "the most powerful of the land's knights" gaining the title Baron. Despite this he remained humble.

First person to use the Vampire Killer (the whip) which was given to him by Rinaldo Gandolfi.

Has a fiance named Sara, who gets kidnapped by a vampire by the name of Walter Bernhard.

He used to be friends with Dracula when he was human, he used to be called Mathias Cronqvist. They used to work alongside one another before betraying everyone when he became grief stricken because his previous wife died. (Not Lisa, but a woman named Elisabetha).

Mathias offered Leon to join him, but Leon refused.

Described by Rinaldo as being honest to a fault.

Trevor Belmont (Trevor C Belmont) ~ 1476:

Main protagonist of the Castlevania show, Castlevania III - Dracula's Curse and Curse of Darkness.

He, Sypha, Grant and Alucard join forces to battle Dracula and other night creatures.

Also uses the Vampire Killer.

Rumoured to be the son of Gabriel and Marie Belmont, though this is disputed as the game that they appear in is not canon.

He confronts Isaac and Hector unlike in the show.

He marries Sypha.

Known as the hardened Belmont, hot-headed and rude. However he is also shown to be kind when helping Sypha and Grant, and recruiting them to work alongside Alucard to defeat Dracula. He also puts his duty to kill vampires above other things such as the past mistreatment of his family.

Christopher and Soleil Belmont ~ 1576:

Christopher appears ~ 100 years after Trevor. He possibly inherited Syphas powers as well, but is mainly shown to use the Vampire Killer

He appears, along with his son Soleil in Castlevania: The adventure and the Belmonts revenge.

Christopher marries Cynthia Belmont.

He was shown as reluctant to take up the job to kill Dracula, but was motivated when Dracula took over his son. (This is rumoured)

Christopher destroys Dracula in the first game, however Dracula turns into mist and then 15 years later, Dracula took over Soleils body. Luckily, Christopher was able to save his son and destroy Dracula for the time being.

Simon Belmont ~ 1691

Arguably one of the most famous Belmonts. He is the protagonist in Castlevania 1, Simons Quest and appears in Harmony of Dissonance. He appears in many others as well.

He also uses the famous Vampire Killer, and grew up with stories of his ancestors and their run-ins with Dracula. The whip that he uses in particular, is a reference to Indiana Jones.

He has a girlfriend called Linda.

When Dracula returned 100 years later after Christophers encounter with him, he went straight to Dracula's Castle to kill him, however Dracula had placed a spell upon him. This spell had begun to kill him, an Oracle (known as mysterious woman/beautiful maiden) told him to collect pieces of Dracula - a nail, eyeball etc. and then burn them all. Dracula was able to resurrect but was killed swiftly again by Simon.

He is known as a hero by the villagers and the Belmont family name is restored to be known as the heroes that they are. The village that is formed is where Juste grows up with his friends.

Simon is shown to be brash and headstrong.

He was supposed to have been named Peter Dante.

He attacked Genya Arikado believing that he was one of Dracula's minions, then when he realised he was actually Alucard, he apologised.

Juste Belmont ~ 1748:

He appears in Castlevania: Nocturne, as he is Richters grandfather and the father of Julia Belmont. In the original lore, his relationship to Richter is unknown. He is the grandson of Simon Belmont.

He is the protagonist of Harmony of Dissonance.

He is quite powerful due to the inherited magic from Sypha and her clan.

He has two childhood friends called Maxim and Lydie. He and Maxim share a "brotherhood bracelet". He and Lydie are implied to be lovers.

Maxim got possessed by Dracula and kidnapped lydie, and depending on the players ending, Maxim would live or die.

In the show, Lydie and Maxim get killed by Lord Ruthven.

He is introverted and reserved, only really have deep connections with his two friends whom he deeply desires to protect.

Richter Belmont ~ 1792

He is the protagonist/appears in of Netflix's Castlevania Nocturne, Rondo of Blood, Symphony of the Night, Nocturne of Recollection and many others.

He uses his whip and magic, making him quite powerful and with his brashness he was able to push Dracula to his brink.

When his girlfriend Annette, Tera, Maria Renard and Iris were kidnapped by Shaft (evil priest working for Dracula) he was able to retrieve them all back and defeat Death (but he comes back and vowed he won't go easy on him the second time) and the Counts army. However Shaft took over his body and Maria and Alucard had to help him to get out of his control.

So far, he was the youngest Belmont to go up against Dracula, which is shown by his youthful hot-headed attitude and strong sense of Justice.

He and Maria have an adopted sibling relationship, similar to that of the show.

Julius Belmont ~ 1999/2035

The last known descendant of the Belmont clan.

Appears in Aria of the Sorrow and Dawn of the Sorrow.

Known as the most strongest/powerful Belmont as he inherited all of his past descendants abilities and finally defeated Dracula in 1999. This conflict was known as Demon Castle War.

He works alongside Yoko Belnades and Genya Arikado to stop Celia Fortner reviving Count Dracula. He also considers Soma Cruz his friend.

He is stern, level-headed and serious, unlike his ancestors.

There are other Belmonts that are mentioned/featured throughout the series:

Michael R Belmont - mentioned in Castlevania: Bloodlines.

Sonia Belmont - main character in Castlevania Legends.

Christopher Belmonts' cousin Frederick.

Gerhart and Amanda Belmont related to Christopher.

Sid Belmont.

Desmond, Zoe and Dolores Belmont.

Simon Belmont - an actor named after his forefather.

Been playing a little of the Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania DLC and I've enjoyed it a lot. The spritework is amazing, and the music remixes are fantastic.

I noticed a couple of missing characters, like Gabriel Belmont and Hugh Baldwin so I decided to make a small mockup based on how they could look like if they were in the game.

A brief summary of each AU for the uninitiated:

Possession AU > Alucard is possessed by Dracula during the Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge timeline, bad things happen (mostly gameverse with Netflixvania elements).

The Belmonts Live AU > Trevor's family survives the church's attempts at eradicating them and leave Wallachia together in exile, this complicates things for Alucard and Sypha when Dracula decides to commit genocide (Netflixvania).

Familiar Lisa AU > Alucard arrives at his mother's pyre just in time to see her die, her soul somehow ends up inside of the floating sword (Netflixvania).

LoTS Isekai > Arikado Genya is yeeted into an alternate universe (Chapter 1 already out, gameverse and Netflixvania).

Memory Erasure AU > An unknown sorcerer wipes Alucard from the memory of everyone that has ever known him (A pretty even mix of gameverse and Netflixvania lore).

Resurrected Leon Belmont AU > Leon Belmont mysteriously awakens in a post-2036 world, shenanigans ensue (Gameverse and Netflixvania).

Ghostly Presence AU > Mathias Cronqvist is bound to Soma Cruz not as an extension of the younger man's soul, but as a ride-along ghost with no choice but to follow him around wherever he goes. The issue? Leon Belmont's ghost has suddenly appeared and won't stop following Alucard (Gameverse and Netflixvania).
