theres nothing more demotivating than trying to create something and people immediately comparing it to something else.

I know that hermit archives is an amazing fic and many of my friends told me about it, however I did not read that so i can't really say how close is my idea to their work. I do not want to be "the original one" and my silly au are nothing more than just silly aus. but i create them, i draw comics, think about characters interacting, i think about it so much for people to just to see some similarities and dismiss my tries to just "i think it just .....". It's my creating space, my ideas may not be completely original, we live in a world where everything has been created already. but these ideas a still mine of some sort, I do try to add something from myself. So if you see some artists' content and the only thing in your head is how you can compare this thing to others work, kindly leave and do not interact with me ever again.

hehe. this one is very silly. even more god shenanigans.

so basically. in this one.

Alan is on the headset, and something happens, and... he dies.

and... well... let's just say dying on the headset can do some weird things to you. to your body, to your mind.

but thankfully(?) for Alan... his soul was picked up by a pair of... beings! and they tried to save him the best they could–

but they couldn't do much, being entities that watched over the transition between Analog and Digital, so all they could do was reincarnate him as a stick, with a few added traits.

but even then... they weren't able to fully do it. they could do the personality... but weren't able to fit everything in... so they had to remove his memories. put them somewhere else yk?

so now... this stick, that doesn't know who he is, or what he is, or where he is... just wakes up somewhere. and has to figure out how to survive. yippee!!!!

so yeah. i just wanted to have fun with it. playing with dolls yk. also yes stuff does happen.

fun fact i associate this one with the song 'Apotheosis' by thquib. if that gives you a hint as to what shenanigans occur later in the story.

I never had high hopes for Netflix's Narnia, so the news that they're considering Meryl Streep to play Aslan just makes me sad instead of angry or shocked.

Meryl Streep is a great actor and would probably do a great job.

But the move shows an unsettling ease with changing whatever they like. Obviously, like in the LotR's adaptations, some things have to be left on the cutting room floor because of the difficulties translating a book into visual media (RIP Tom Bombadil). Gender swaps are not one of them.

Aslan is specifically said to be a 'he', and the fact that they feel comfortable changing that gives me little hope that they won't change other things because they don't actually like Narnia as a series because of it's "dated" and "harmful" messaging.
