Once again, I drew a vampire Hatsune Miku to celebrate MikuDay this year! This time in pixel art form and inspired by DECO*27's song "The Vampire"
I used a custom 8 color palette for this piece.

I haven't played Zenless Zone Zero, but I love Vivian and Hugo's designs a lot, so I've been wanting to draw them for a while. I decided to make some small 8-bit sprites of them, following NES/FAMICOM limitations.

I have been playing Rabbit & Steel with Kuro a lot recently and absolutely loving it, so I wanted to draw our favorite bunny, the heavyblade Bunny.
I made 2 different versions based on 2 of the palettes she has in game, and each version is only made using 8 colors.
If You haven't played Rabbit & Steel you definitelly should give it a try!

Got commissioned again by VTuber digi_shell to make her new Stream ending animation.
The piece uses a custom 24 colors palette and a lot of tiny animated details I'm super happy and proud of.

I recently realized that JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood didn't get a game adaptation until 2006, something I find very surprising because it gives me very strong 80's Castlevania and Vampire Hunter D vibes and I feel it would have worked perfectly as a short NES/FAMICOM game back then, especially considering that similar franchises like Fist of the North Star and Saint Seiya, had games for the console.
So I made this small mockup of how I imagine a game based on Phantom Blood could have looked like.
Inspired by Castlevania's final fight, and following the same system technical limitations.

My entry for Newgrounds' Low Poly Day and also my first attempt at using picoCAD. I'm a huge Transformers nerd and Optimus Prime is my all time favorite, and his G1 design's blocky nature works perfectly for a low poly model.
The finished model is made of 13 Objects and 165 faces. I sadly could not add his Ion Blaster since I ran out of memory in picoCAD, but I enjoyed the process a lot and I'm super excited to try picoCAD2 in the future.

Been playing a little of the Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania DLC and I've enjoyed it a lot. The spritework is amazing, and the music remixes are fantastic.
I noticed a couple of missing characters, like Gabriel Belmont and Hugh Baldwin so I decided to make a small mockup based on how they could look like if they were in the game.

My timelines everywhere have been full of horses lately and I started wondering, how would Uma Musume Pretty Derby look as a NES/FAMICOM game, so I made this small mockup of it.
My main inspiration for this piece was Du Ma Race an unlicenced game released in 1991, and I also followed all of the NES technical limitations.

Made a pixel art portrait for my girlfriend, Kuro, as a small surprise gift.
There is three different versions of it based on each of her Dragon Ball Z inspired forms, Kuro, SSJ Kuro and Beast Kuro!
All of them use a custom 16 colors palette.
Don't forget to check Kuro. She is a very fun streamer and an amazing singer!

A Pixel art version of my all time favorite album's cover done for the Pixel Joint's Album Art Collab
The challenge consists on redrawing you favorite albums cover art as a 48 x 48 pixel art piece. For this one I used a custom 12 colors palette.
Versailles is a Japanese visual kei symphonic power metal band. JUBILEE -Method of Inheritance-, released in 2010, is their first album under a major label, and in my opinion, their best work so far.
You can see the original cover art and stream the album on YouTube and Spotify

I wanted to give my own to try to twitter's Peach trend, since I love to see sprites from retro games reimagined, reinterpreted or redrawn in very different styles.
And an alternate funny version, since my girlfriend said the original sprite looks as if she was flipping of the player.
I had a lot of fun doing this, so I may do more like it in the future as well.

My entry for Nokia art Jam 3 hosted by Polyducks
The Jam consisted on making a mockup image following Nokia 3410 technical limitations. 96 x 65 pixels and only 2 colors.
The theme of this Jam was "What is James Bond playing?" so I imagined a small phone game where You, as James Bond, have to jump over crocodriles heads to escape from the Jungle, inspired by that crazy stunt from Live and Let Die.
There is a lot of amazing entries for the Jam so You should definitely check more of them!

Got commissioned by VTuber Digiko Shellako to make her new Stream ending animation.
The animation uses a custom 21 colors palette (with 7 of those only used on the glitchy effects), and I is probably one of the most detailed pieces I have done so far, so I'm super happy and proud of the results.
If You want to watch comfy streams, and specially if You enjoy retro games, make sure to check Digiko's streams.

"Maybe You are a vampire, and with damaged wings, You sleep, locked in a stone coffin. Dreaming of the heaven You could never go back to"
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
I found and old sketch of Elzie that I drew several years ago and never finished, and decided it would be a great idea to turn it into a small pixel art animation for this Halloween.
Elzie is a character I created for Vampire's Bit, a small project I worked on for a Game Jam a long time ago.
Once again I limited myself to using only 16 colors, and all of them come from PICO-8's color palettes (both its main palette and the second hidden one).

My entry for Nokia art Jam 2 hosted by @Polyducks The Jam consisted on making a mockup image following Nokia 3410 technical limitations.
I followed the optional theme "Lost games for the Nokia 3410" and imagined how a very simple, but cute looking RPG could be. I had a lot of fun working on it, and once again, doing 1-bit art was a very interesting challenge.
There is a lot of amazing entries for the Jam so You should definitely check more of them!
