OKAY, I'm like incredibly late to the party but I've lost my last piece of sanity and shame, so consider:

In order to come to this meeting of Howl (for his small number of followers, to which no one planned to come anyway) she has to fly to another country, because I rarely see Sophie as someone who would be born in Wales. And she does so. Literally telling no one cause it's obviously is the usual thing to do.

Martha, a bit confused: Why are you packing?

Sophie: Oh, I have a tickets to Wales for tomorrow.

Lettie, having no desire to miss the moment: Why are you flying there??

Sophie: I'm just going to fly dozens of miles to see one YouTuber and get the chance to tell him TO HIS FACE about how horrible, incomprehensible and pathetic his content is.

Lettie,whispering in Martha's ear: Should we tell her?

Martha, already bringing popcorn: Let's wait a little bit.

Also Michael would have an almost empty account with maybe three videos from five years ago. Martha told him how to add emojis to the bio and he made this his whole personality just because it was Martha to tell him so and he loves Martha. He tries to argue politely with Howl's haters only for Sophie to just randomly appear in the comment section, say "f*ck you" and block everyone he's tried to argue with.

(No one cares that Sophie writes the same or even worse comments under the said videos, that's just how things work™)

howl would make stupid youtube videos like "pretty people problems" and sophie would leave hate comments on them (though not anonymously, but with her own name. She's not a coward).

Bruce coming home one day to find Robin Jason clinging onto a chandelier with Dick below him cheering him on.

Bruce: Jason what are you doing?

Jason: Dick said that you missed his antics after he moved out and so he’s teaching me how to be a better son

This just further fuels the chaotic dynamic of Dick and Jason during a time where Dick was still going through his teenage angst and was absolutely not a benevolent role model LMAO

I mentioned it in this post, but it's just so funny to me to imagine a Jason who grew up with an absolutely WILD Dick Grayson as an older brother, while the younger batkids grew up with a more mellowed out and mature (arguable but when measured against the other kids, he wins by a landslide) Dick Grayson.

Robin!Jason era:

Dick: You wanna go out and get high?

Jason: I can't, I have homework.

Dick, sputtering: HOMEWORK?

I don't care if you're not out yet, it doesn't have to be about trans stuff.

But please please please start practicing asking people for things. Start speaking up when someone says something you don't like. If something doesn't work for you SAY IT instead of just letting it happen.

Yes, it will be hard, but the sooner you start doing it, the better

You can start now and make progress, because even stuff as simple as "I don't like being called dude", "no tomato on my burger please", "I appreciate the thought but I don't like this shirt"

ANYTHING

Because once you get to the point where you really need to start saying "Hey my name is actually *Blank*" or "Oh I use She/Her, I don't like getting they/them'd"

That practice will help so much. Because unfortunately you can't just "wait until the hormones have taken effect so I just look like a girl and then they'll just do it"

Some people will, sure, but alot of family and friends, even if they're not being malicious and are supportive, won't think things have to change.

You will have to tell people important to you that things have changed and they need to treat you differently. You will have to tell people who are basically strangers how you want to be treated.

So start now, practice taking up space

you know i used to think it was weird how sora and roxas have such different personalities for supposedly being 'the same person' but after playing a few games i sort of realized that they do have similar personalities, because roxas acts how sora does when he's under extreme stress.

compare roxas to sora in, say, kh1. that's where a lot of peoples idea of sora's personality comes from. sora is generally very upbeat and optimistic in that game. not very similar to roxas, right?

but let's switch the game and talk about a game where sora is ABSOLUTELY GOING THROUGH IT. chain of memories.

sora's resting state is melancholy in com. he only ever cheers up in short bursts, usually when he's joking around with friends. just like roxas.

he's quick to anger, and tends to lash out at the organization members. best example of this is when larxene makes him 'remember' namine, and he swings at her repeatedly, even after she's gone. he only stops when jiminy is able to snap him out of it.

you know what scene that resembles?

sora, while a bit more on the angry side and less sad, continues to act like this in kh2 when he's in stressful situations. (he also has a tendancy to insult people which, while it's not very related to the point, is very funny and sora saying 'gonna cry?' to xigbar is great.) i cant comment any further than that about kh2 off the top of my head.

so, roxas acts like sora does when he's stressed, right? but why is roxas always acting like that? to which i say, he isnt!

he only ever acts like that when he's also in fucked up and stressful situations, which happens to be a CONSTANT in his life. but when he's hanging out with axel and xion, a decidedly NOT stressful situation, he's a lot more like sora. he's teasing his friends and insulting his coworkers and joking around and acting like a normal kid. not really important, but unless i misremembered some sora lines which is VERY possible, both roxas and sora respond to friendly insults with "oh thanks!" a lot. just a funny little detail that felt relevant.

the biggest differences between roxas and sora boil down to environment and... i dont know how to put it besides volume? roxas is very quiet and tends to keep most of his thoughts to himself, while sora is very loud and expressive in comparison.

there is one other huge difference i noticed, which is less character based and more story. sora wanted to get off destiny islands and explore with his friends, but roxas just wanted routine. sora wants adventure, and roxas wants things to stay the same, for days where he gets off work and eats ice cream with his friends to last forever, to keep having conversations about nothing and watching the sunset. roxas wants normalcy, sora wants excitement. it's just interesting seeing their contrast.

So I'm having a million of anxiety today and here's the result (it's always guns 🤦)

Guns

Content: gun threats, killing

Gun to whumpee's throat just close enough that their trachea presses against it when they swallow

Gun to skin but the metal is warm. Whumper had it in their waistband and now having it up to their skin, it feels almost intimate. Embarrassing.

Gun to lips. Aggressor: "Open." Victim tightens their lips shut. Aggressor: "do you want it clean, or do you want your teeth blown away too?"

Whumpee's team going down until it's just them, falling to their knees in an overwhelm of grief. Enemy leader walking toward them with a gun casually ready, and whumpee thinks they're next.

Victim already captured, walking in front of aggressor, who isn't sure they'll "behave". A gun is pressed in through victim's coat until finally victim finally feels it. They gulp and try not to look suspicious by glancing back at whumper.

Aggressor having a valuable whumpee lined up with other expendable prisoners. Walking down the line and shooting them for made-up reasons. When they get to whumpee, whumpee is trembling, trying to be "perfect", so they aren't next.
